Before sleep comes, let’s place our attention where lasting peace is always found—not on today’s successes or disappointments, but on Jesus Christ. He has walked with us from the first light of this morning until this quiet evening hour, and His faithfulness has not changed. Tonight, we simply lift our eyes to Him. Scripture (NIV) “Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” — Hebrews 12:2 Heavenly Father, thank You for giving us Your Son, Jesus Christ, who remains faithful yesterday, today and forever. This is the title of the closing prayer together today. Fix your eyes on Jesus. Holy Spirit, calm me down. Holy Spirit, calm my heart down right now. And Lord, help me to fix my eyes on Jesus, the author and the perfecter of my faith. And Father, I thank you that the glory is in the name of Jesus. The power is in the name of Jesus. And as we stretch out, Lord, at the close of this day, as this day claws, dear God, to an end, as it claws itself through, as it closes itself, as it shuts the door on another hour. Forgiveness And Letting Go Tonight

And Lord, go deep in our mind tonight and extract and remove all those files that we are holding on ourselves, on situations, and on people. And Lord, help us to forgive and to let go. So tonight, Lord, as we crawl up the stairs, as we sit on the sofa, Lord, as we sit on the patio, as we lay in bed right now, help us to fix our eyes on Jesus. And Lord, will you take away fear? Will you take away bitterness and anger? Lord, will you deal with my unforgiveness? Lord, help me, dear God, to forgive and to forget and to lay it down at the cross of Calvary. Holy Spirit, wherever we are, Lord, as we lay our head on the pillow, Lord, help us to sleep in the name of Jesus. Father, I thank you that our sleep will be sweet. And Lord, you are Jehovah. Lord, you are the living word. You are our healer. So Father, tonight as we sleep, I thank you that healing is abounding. I thank you that promises are falling, that the word of God is carrying us. Lord, we are tired and we are weary. I pray that you all sleep well tonight in the name of the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit. But let's just fix our eyes on Jesus. Have a beautiful sleep and just remind yourself that angels have been deployed because God cares for you. Angels have been deployed around your life. The Spirit of the Lord is with you.
