Luke 24:32 (NIV) — Jesus Walks Beside You with Hope Live from London, England — where faith meets the world in daily prayer and global hope. Today’s Nations: Australia • Canada • Brazil • Romania • France • Hungary Theme: Hope • Presence • Encouragement The middle of the day can sometimes leave us wondering how things are going to unfold. Plans may have changed, unexpected conversations may have taken place or we may simply feel more tired than we expected. At times like these it is easy to think we are walking alone. Before those thoughts settle too deeply, let’s pause together. The risen Jesus drew alongside two discouraged disciples on the road to Emmaus long before they recognised Him. In the same way, He remains near to us today, faithfully walking with us through every part of our journey. Scripture (NIV) “They asked each other, ‘Were not our hearts burning within us while he talked with us on the road and opened the Scriptures to us?’” — Luke 24:32 Heavenly Father, thank You that through Your Son, Jesus Christ, You never leave us to walk life’s road by ourselves. When we cannot clearly see what You are doing, help us to trust that Jesus is still beside us. Open our hearts to Your Word, deepen our faith and give us eyes to recognise Your faithful hand at work in our lives. As we continue through this afternoon, may the Holy Spirit strengthen us with fresh hope, steady us with Your peace and help us share the kindness and compassion of Christ with everyone we meet. Thank You that even when the road seems uncertain, Jesus continues to walk faithfully beside His people. Fear will not win, because Jesus walks beside us with unfailing love, steadfast hope and faithful presence. May the Lord Jesus encourage your heart today, renew your hope through His Word and remind you that He faithfully walks beside you wherever this day may lead. Daily Prayer, Luke 24, Road to Emmaus, Midday Prayer, Christian Podcast, DailyPrayer.uk  Luke 24:32 prayer, Jesus walks with you, Road to Emmaus devotion, Christian midday prayer, DailyPrayer.uk Hidden Treasures: Discover more Bible-centred prayers in the Hidden Treasures library, inspired by Isaiah 45:3 (NIV).

give up praying. But without further ado, we're going to jump straight through to the beautiful book of Luke, the New Testament, and we're going to Luke 24, verse 32. But before we do, can you share out these prayers? Everything that is going on around the world. We got to pray. So push these prayers out across your family and your friends. But come on, let's pray together. Let's lock in. Luke 24, verse 32.

Asking God For Calm And Rain

SPEAKER_00

Jesus walks beside you with hope. Father, I thank you that Jesus is walking beside us right now. And Lord, whether we've been worshiping, praising you, journaling, Lord, I pray as we put the kettle on, make a cup of tea, Lord, just grab a bite to eat right now. Lord, that you will bring steadiness and calm to our lives. Because Lord, we are coming to the clear realization that Jesus is in our lives and the Holy Spirit is our comforter. And the God of Israel is bringing the power and the glory to our lives. And Father, we thank you that the word of the Lord is a lamp for our feet. And Lord, as the phone keeps ringing, the children are on holiday. Lord, the weather is warm. Father, I pray for rainfall. Lord, I pray for spiritual rain. Lord, refreshing rain right now. Our bodies are tired. Our cognitive processing. Lord, our mental health from the battlefield to the boardroom. Father, I thank you that you do not leave us nor forsake us. And you are the risen king. You are Jehovah. Lord, I thank you that there is power in the name of Jesus Christ. But Lord, we don't want to live in discouragement. We don't want to live in disappointment. We want to live in the power of hope.

Three Prayers For Hope And Uplift

SPEAKER_00

So right now, Lord, we pray for three areas of a spiritual uplift in our lives. Lord, we pray for more hope. Lord, let hope reign down over our lives right now. From the battles of life to the field of life. Everyone in prison, everyone at home right now, everyone in hospice, everyone in the hospital, everyone traveling, everyone working. Lord, wherever we are, whatever the beat of the drum is right now, I thank you that Jesus walks beside you with hope and power and glory. And as we stretch out live from this studio in London, England, all the way to Australia, Canada, Brazil, Romania, France, and Hungary, Father, as this moment is unfolding, as the plans, dear God, are changing right now, the unexpected conversations, Lord, when fear tries to rise, I thank you that the word of God crushes it. Lord, I thank you that the power of God is in our lives. And Lord, you remain that constant. Lord, from the shop floor to the factory floor, to the washing machine to the iron, dear God, to the golf course to the field of life as we climb the rock face of life. I thank you, dear God, that there is hope and your presence is around us. And Lord, we pray for that third era of our lives. Lord, we will pray right now that we will find that there is encouragement through the word of God. Because Lord, we don't want to lock on to the news channels. We're not locking on, dear God, to the way of the world. We're not gonna capture the drumbe of society and culture. Lord, we're gonna rise in faith. And as we rise in faith, Father, we find that encouragement through the presence of Jesus. And in the presence of Jesus, hope is abounding. And right now, Lord, as we pray through, we walk through Luke 24, verse 32, speak, Holy Spirit, draw us close

Luke 24:32 And Burning Hearts

to the word. And they asked each other, were not our hearts burning within us while he talked with us on the road and he opened the scriptures to us. Holy Spirit, Lord, on that Emmaus road, I thank you that their hearts were burning. Lord, we want our hearts to burn. Lord, we want the fire of God to burn in our spirit right now. We want the presence of Jesus. Lord, we want the encouragement of the Word of God. Father, wherever we are right now, Jesus, draw alongside of each and every one of us. Lord, remove the doubt, remove the fear, remove, dear God, the anticipation. And Father, bring that faith. Let us rise on wings as of eagles. As we connect around the world, we pray for one another. Holy Spirit, strengthen us with fresh hope. Steady us with the power of peace. Lord, let your kindness and your compassion of the Lord Jesus Christ meet us exactly where we are. Father, I thank you that we are learning to let go and to let God. And right now we pray that the four winds of heaven will blow over our lives. And Father, we will find that revival rain is reviving us. Holy Spirit, carry us in the greatest name in heaven and earth and whatever the time zone is, wherever we are around the world, whatever season we are in, we are blessed beyond measure because the word of God is in our

lives. Don't ever give up and let's remind ourselves fear can never win. Have a beautiful day, a beautiful morning, a beautiful afternoon, a beautiful evening. Wherever you are, whatever your time zone is right now, keep praying, keep lifting the name of Jesus Christ and never ever give up. God bless you and join me in a few hours' time for the early evening devotional prayer time together. Keep going. All is well.
