Welcome And Settle In

SPEAKER_00

Welcome to Daily Prayer. I'm Reverend Ben Cooper coming to you live from our studios in London, England. Let's open God's word together and let's pray together. Wherever you are, I invite you to stay with me just for these four minutes, but also I invite you to stay for the duration of this day as we pray together, as we lift up the name of Jesus. I just want to remind all of us right now that everything is going to be okay.

Philippians 4:6 And Today’s Theme

SPEAKER_00

We're in Philippians 4, verse 6. This is the title of our prayer this morning together. When anxiety knocks, let God's peace answer.

Anxiety At The Door, Peace Responds

SPEAKER_00

Holy Spirit, Lord, we hear the front doorbell ringing. Lord, we hear, dear God, the knocker on the door. Lord, it is loud. And right now, Lord, anxiety is knocking. Fear is ringing that bell. Holy Spirit, but Lord, I thank you that God's peace is going to answer the front door of our lives. And Lord, we thank you that God goes before us and all things are possible to those who believe. But right now, Lord, through this morning prayer time together, Lord, we lock through the power of prayer and we say, Jesus, there are three areas of my life that I need to see an uplift. I need to see an increase.

Declaring Overflowing Peace And Confidence

SPEAKER_00

Lord, I want more peace. Lord, I want to be able to trust you more in the circles of my life. And Lord, I want to walk in confidence, divine confidence, faith. Holy Spirit, wherever we are right now across this world, we believe in the power of God. And right now, Lord, we declare that peace is in overflow. Peace is flowing in our lives. Peace is in a position of overflow. Father, we thank you that there is an overflow of your presence, your goodness, your mercy, your saving grace. And wherever we are, before anxiety finds us, we thank you that the power of God is rising. But Lord, when anxiety and doubt and fear comes in like a flood, Lord, we thank you that God, you're going to lift up a standard. And when anxiety knocks the front door of life, when fear rings the front doorbell, the spirit of the Lord is going to rise within us. Whatever challenges we face, whatever situations we are going through, Father, we thank you that we are more than overcomers because the power of God is in our lives. And we stretch out, we stretch up, and we pray through the beautiful book of Philippians 4, verse

Breath, Praise, And God’s Names

6. This is the scripture. Do not be anxious about anything. But in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God, and the peace of God will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Father, guard our hearts, whatever the time zone is, whatever the rhythm, from the battlefield to the boardroom, to the field of life. Lord, we lift up the name of Jesus Christ. And when anxiety comes in like a flood, Lord, we lift our hands and we say thank you, Jesus. Lord, I'm just gonna take a moment, I'm gonna praise you. Lord, I'm gonna lift up the name of Jehovah Jirah, Jehovah Nissi. Lord, I'm gonna hear the voice of God. I thank you that the four winds of heaven are blowing over our lives. Help us to pause, to gather our breath, and to breathe. And say, Jesus, yes, I hear anxiety at the front door. Yes, I understand that fear is ringing the bell. But my God is greater than fear and anxiety. And as we stretch out live from London, England, all the way to Germany, Kenya, Austria, Belgium, Spain, Ghana, we believe that there is confidence, that we are trusting you more, and we are walking in peace. So right now, I pray that the Spirit of the Living God will lift us

out of the fog of doubt, out of the fog of anxiety, out of the fog of fear, and the Spirit of the Lord will just carry us right now. Carry us in the Holy Spirit, carry us in your peace, Lord, at this morning prayer time together. But Lord, we thank you that the power of God is in our lives. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God, and the peace of God will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Whatever your concerns are, whatever your worries are, whatever your anxieties are, I pray that God will give us wisdom and discernment as we walk through this day. But this is a beautiful day. Jesus Christ is with you. The Holy Spirit is in your life, the God above all gods is with you. Don't ever give up. Fear is never going to win, and we're going to keep praying and we're going to find the hidden treasures in the Word
