As a new day begins, there may already be responsibilities waiting, decisions to make or burdens resting quietly on your heart. Before the pace of the day gathers momentum, pause for a moment and lift your eyes to the Lord. He sees every step you will take today, every conversation you will have and every need you will face. You do not begin this day in your own strength. You begin it in the presence of the God who never sleeps and never stops watching over His children. Psalm 121 Sets The Theme
SPEAKER_00of David. We're going to Psalms 121, verse 1. This is the title of our prayer together. My help comes from the Lord. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, Lord, before we start to get on the rhythm and on the treadmill of life, before we go any further, Lord, help us to pause. Lord, as we get out of the bed, Lord, as we brush our teeth, comb our hair, jump in the shower, get the kids ready, get the home ready for a brand new day. Spirit of the living God, before we pull these curtains back on this new day, Holy Ghost, great God, great King that you are, Jehovah Jairah, Jehovah Nissi, Jehovah Shalom.
Naming What We Need Today
SPEAKER_00Lord, we just stretch out and we say, Jesus, Lord, there are three areas of our lives, Lord, that we need to bring before the cross. And Lord, we are looking for more help. Lord, amongst that help, Lord, we need more confidence. And Lord, with the confidence, Lord, we know that peace is going to move forward. So Lord, these three areas, Father, we need help, confidence, and more peace. But Lord,
Lift Your Eyes For Help
SPEAKER_00we thank you that our help comes from the Lord. And as we pray through Psalms 121, I lift my eyes to the mountains. Where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. Father, help me to realize that you are the Maker of heaven and earth. And Father, you are the God above all gods. You are the King above all kings. So Lord, I pray that I will live my life by faith and I will look to the mountains because my help comes from the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit. My help comes from the Lord. And whatever the rhythm of our life is, whatever is going on in the circle of our communities, our workspace, our home life, Lord, we stretch out to the name of Jesus. And Father, we just lift our eyes to the mountains. We lift our eyes to the ceiling as we lay in bed. We lift our eyes to the rooftop of the van. We lift our eyes, dear God, over, dear God, the bus stop, dear God, over the train station. We look up into the sky and we say, Holy Spirit, Lord, wherever we are, we just look up and we say, Father, my help comes from the Lord.
Guidance Miracles And Clear Direction
SPEAKER_00And Lord, I believe in miracles. I pray that the Holy Spirit will guide our thoughts. Lord, I pray that you'll steady our hearts and give us clear direction in our lives. But Lord, we need help. Lord, the world is crying out, dear God, for a savior. But Lord, as we come, dear God, to you on this beginning of a brand new, beautiful morning, Lord, we stretch out. And right now, Lord, we jump out of bed. Lord, we pull the curtains back on a brand new day. Lord, we get the home ready. We get ourselves ready for a brand new rhythm. Lord, we do not want to bounce on the trampoline of monotony. Lord, we don't want to follow the way of the crowd. Lord, we want to walk by faith. Lord, not only do we want to walk in faith, we want to walk with peace, confidence. And Father, we thank you that our help comes from the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Lord, but as we get on

And Lord, whatever situation we're going through, we believe in the power and the anointing of God. Now, right now, Lord, we're going to jump out of bed. Lord, we're going to get in the shower. We're going to brush our teeth. We're combing our hair. We're pulling our jeans on. We're getting that dress on. Lord, we're getting our makeup ready. Father, we're getting the kids ready. We're putting our work boots on. Father, we're in the van, we're in the car, we're on the cumulating run. Whatever we are doing, Spirit of the Living God, give us wisdom for today, kindness for all of conversations that lie ahead. Father, give us patience, give us steadiness.
