Evening Prayer — For Strength in Weakness When I Feel Overwhelmed and Need God’s Grace 2 Corinthians 12:9 Live from London, England — where faith meets the world in daily prayer and global hope London • Dallas • Nairobi • Manila GRACE • STRENGTH • SUFFICIENCY  evening prayer for strength in weakness • prayer when I feel overwhelmed • Christian prayer for God’s grace today • prayer when I feel I am not enough 2 Corinthians 12:9 (NIV)  “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” This is your evening prayer for grace, for strength, and for peace when you feel stretched. If today has left you feeling overwhelmed or not enough, this moment is for you. Father, in the name of Jesus, I come to You. You see where I feel weak. You know where I feel overwhelmed. And through Jesus, You remind me that Your grace is enough. So I pause. I bring my weakness into Your presence. Jesus, I give You the places where I feel I have fallen short. The moments where I feel I am not enough. The weight I have been carrying. I place it in Your hands. I release the pressure to be strong on my own. I release the fear of not measuring up. I release the burden of trying to do everything perfectly. I release it to You. And now, I receive. I receive grace that covers me. I receive strength within my weakness. I receive peace that steadies my heart. Jesus, be my strength.Carry me where I feel weak. Lift me where I feel low. Remind me that Your power is working in me. I receive. And now I rest—held, supported, and strengthened. Jesus is with you now. Across the world, hearts are being strengthened in weakness. From London to Dallas, from Nairobi to Manila, Jesus is pouring out grace and restoring strength. Jesús, Tu gracia es suficiente para mí. Jesus Cristo, a Tua graça é suficiente para mim. Jesus, sapat ang Iyong biyaya sa akin. Father, I trust You. Through Jesus, I am strengthened. Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper, wherever you are in the world. Thank you for making daily prayer part of your life and part of the rhythm of your day. We're going to jump straight in to 2 Corinthians chapter 12, verse 9. This is the early evening devotional prayer time, and I invite you to stay with me. I know it's busy, I know it's early evening. I know there are things happening around the world that are making us really stressful, but let's just pause for four to five minutes. Let's pray for grace, strength, and the love of Jesus Christ. This is the title for strength in weakness. When I feel overwhelmed and need grace to continue. Holy Spirit, we need God's grace. Lord, we are tired and we are weary. Lord, I don't want to keep looking at the news channels. I don't want to keep listening to the rhythm of the bounce of social media. Lord, I don't want to listen to the bounce, dear God, of the political gender, especially within the UK. Father, it is very unsettling right now here in the UK. Father, I am praying, Lord, that I, us, and we will not focus on whatever the political cry is around the world, but Lord, that we will find strength in the hands of God. So Lord, right now I pray that your grace will just gently reign down over us. Lord, we believe that 2 Corinthians chapter 12, verse 9 is for each and every one of us. My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Lord, I gotta be honest right now. Lord, we're having a right old run of it at this moment. And Lord, I finding that I'm feeling very weak. Lord, we need a spiritual sharpening right now. You tell us that iron sharpens iron. And Lord, I pray that you will put people in the circle of our lives. We will sharpen one another. Iron sharpens iron. Father, we do not want to be with the religious crowd. We do not want to be found, dear God, in the political drive. We do not want to be found in the social crowd. Lord, we don't want to be caught in the click of the world. Father, we want to be found in the rhythm and in the kingdom of God. So, Lord, right now, I need strength, Lord, when I feel weak. Lord, when we're tired and we feel overwhelmed, dear God, give us the grace of God and we walk in grace and we call on grace and we believe in faith right now that the faith of God is giving us more strength, more grace when we feel stretched beyond stretch, when we feel tired beyond tired, we come to the cross of Calvary. Lord, there's nowhere else that we're gonna find grace. There's nowhere else that we're gonna find strength. The only place that we can get to is Jesus. So Lord, right now we thank you that the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit is in our lives. But Lord, as we stretch out live from London, England, where faith meets the world in daily prayer and global hope. Father, we stretch out as brothers and sisters. We believe in miracles, we believe in healing, we believe in grace, we believe in faith, we believe in the word of God. And right now, Lord, as we pray out live from London, England, all the way to Dallas, all the way to Mumbai, from Mumbai, all the way, dear God, to Iceland, from Iceland to Norway, from Norway to Singapore, from Singapore to Japan. We are praying for the peace over the Middle East. We pray right now for Jerusalem and Israel. We pray for global peace in the name of Jesus. But Lord, we ask you that you will strengthen us, Lord, through this early evening devotional prayer time from the battles that are on the outside to the inner battles, to the fears and the worries and the doubts. Holy Spirit, carry us right now. But Jesus, give us strength. We are praying through 2 Corinthians 12, verse 9. For my grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. God is strengthening you. The love of God is over your life. God has wrapped himself around you like a sleeping bag. The Spirit of the Lord is over you. I pray wherever you are, you will feel the grace, the favor, the anointing, and the beauty of Jesus Christ. Don't ever give up. Come on. It is the early evening devotional prayer time with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper. Will you join me for the next and the closing prayer of today? Jump with me to the late night prayer. God bless you.
