“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God…” Jesus, as I begin this day, I come to You honestly. There is a part of me that feels unsettled. Thoughts about what lies ahead, things I cannot control, and moments I am not prepared for. God, I feel anxious as this day starts. I feel that. But I will not step into this day carrying fear. I come to You. Cover me. Let Your presence surround me before anything else reaches me. Let Your faithfulness become the place where I stand. I do not want to begin this day in my own strength—I want to begin it in You. So I release what I cannot control. I release the fear that tries to rise within me. I release the tension I carried into this morning. I release it. And now, I receive. I receive Your covering.  I receive Your strength.  I receive the quiet confidence that You are with me. I receive. You go before me into this day. You are already in every moment I will face. Nothing will meet me before You are there. I am not exposed—I am held. I am not alone—I am covered by Your presence. So I step forward. Not in fear.  Not in uncertainty.  But in trust. Jesús, cúbreme hoy y llévame en Tu paz sin temor.  Jesus Cristo, cobre-me hoje e guia-me com a Tua paz sem medo.  Jesus, Ikaw ang aking kanlungan at sa Iyo ako nagtitiwala ngayong araw. From São Paulo to Charlotte, from Nairobi to Copenhagen, across every place beginning a new day, You are present. You are covering. You are strengthening Your people. So I move forward in peace. I release. I receive. I trust. In Your name, Jesus, I am covered, I am protected, and I am unafraid. Isaiah 41 Courage For The Day

SPEAKER_00

Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper. Wherever you are across the world, thank you for making daily prayer part of your life and part of the rhythm of your day. It is the early morning prayer. We're going to jump straight into Psalms 91, verse 4. This is the title. Jesus, cover me this morning as I step forward without fear. Father, we thank you for this early prayer time. We thank you, Father, for this devotional time as we gather around the word of God, as we gather to worship, dear God, through the power of prayer. And we worship the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. But right now, Father, before the dew lifts off the grass, Father, before the sun comes through the bedroom window, Lord, before we get ready for this day, Holy Spirit, I pray that you will take us deeper into your love right now, Lord, and we will feel the covering of Jesus Christ over our lives. Lord, we thank you for Psalm 91, verse 4. He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge. His faithfulness will be your shield and your rampart. Father, we pray that we will feel the love of God and the power of the Holy Spirit. Lord, that you will touch our hearts, our minds, our bodies and our souls. Lord, that you will lift us. And right now we are praying for protection. We're praying for God's covering today. Lord, when I feel anxiety, Lord, before this day starts, Lord, we are asking, Lord, for the anxiety thoughts to go, Lord, the motion, dear God, of this feeling, this motion, this notion, this rhythm, Lord, that comes over our lives. Holy Spirit, we are praying for this early morning anxiety to lift. That we are not going to walk in fear. We're going to walk in abundance. And Jesus, cover me this morning as we step forward without fear. Father, we are walking in faith right now. We are living by faith. Lord, we are thinking by faith. Lord, we are using the word, dear God, to carry us through this day. But right now, Lord, before we pull the curtains back, Lord, before we get out of bed, before we kick the duvet off, Spirit of the living God, I pray that we will find absolute the ultimate place of rest in your spirit. Holy Spirit, will you just grace us with your love, your mercy? Dear God, we thank you that we are covered right now with the feathers. And under your wings, we're going to find refuge. Lord, under the wings of the Almighty, in the presence of the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. Jesus, cover us today. Holy Spirit, we pause and we be still. And Lord, we ask you at these early doors, Lord, these moments, Father God, before the day begins, before we jump out of bed, Lord, before we get stuck in the traffic, before the commute starts, before life just starts to hit the rhythm as it always does. Father, just cover us in your love, cover us in your mercy. And Lord, just carry us across the world wherever we are. Father, we thank you that we are praying out of life here in London, England, as we stretch across the world, all the way to China, Copenhagen, all the way back, dear God, to Russia, Istanbul. Father, we are praying for Chile and Brazil. Lord Japan, we pray right now for Japan that the love of God will be around Asia. Lord, that today, every tribe, every language, every colour, every tongue, Lord, that we will find there is an acceleration in our hearts right now. There is an acceleration of hope. There is an acceleration, dear God, of the goodness of God. And we believe, dear God, that you are supplying all of our needs according to thy riches in glory. Because Lord, right now we are sitting under the covering of Almighty God. And right now, Lord, I thank you for Isaiah 41, verse 10. So do not fear, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. Lord, we thank you that you are our God. And right now, Lord, as we get up and get out of bed, Lord, as we get ready for this day, Lord, as we get dressed, comb our hair, put our makeup on, put the uniform on, put the boots on. Lord, we get ready for work, whatever we are doing. Lord, I pray that the Spirit of the Lord will cover us today. Lord, I thank you for every listener, Lord, from the battlefield to the boardroom, to the field of life, to every sunset, to every rainfall. May the Spirit of the Lord be over you at the early morning prayer, devotional time together. We've been praying out of the beautiful book of Psalm 91, verse 4. He will cover you with his feathers. I invite you to come with me to the next prayer. God bless.
