Evening Prayer — Jesus, You Are My Shepherd Today: Provide for Me and Bring Peace from Tel Aviv to Every Place of Need Psalm 23:1 — The Lord Is My Shepherd, I Lack Nothing Live from London, England — where faith meets the world in daily prayer and global hope  São Paulo • Houston • Nairobi • Manila • Tel Aviv PROVISION • TRUST • RELEASE  evening prayer for provision and peace • Psalm 23:1 prayer • Christian prayer for finances and needs • God I don’t know how I will get through this prayer • prayer to trust God with everything Psalm 23:1 (NIV)  “The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.” Matthew 6:31–33 (NIV)  “So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’… But seek first his kingdom…” John 3:16 (NIV)  “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son…” Jesus, as this day begins to close, I pause here. I bring everything I have carried through this day. The responsibilities, the needs, the questions that have followed me from one moment to the next. And if I’m honest— God, I don’t know how I will get through this. I feel that. The pressure to provide. The uncertainty about what comes next.  The weight of what I cannot solve on my own. I feel it. But I will not carry it forward. I come to You. You are my Shepherd. You see what I need before I speak it. You understand what is lacking before I try to fix it. You are already present in the places where I feel uncertain. So I release the pressure.  I release the fear of not having enough.  I release the need to control every outcome. I release it. And now, I trust. I trust Your provision.  I trust Your timing. I trust Your faithfulness in every detail of my life. I trust. And now, I receive. I receive Your peace.  I receive the assurance that You are providing.  I receive the calm that steadies me. I receive. Because You love me, I am not without help. Because You love me, I am not without provision. Because You love me, I am held even in uncertainty. So I lay this day down. Not holding.  Not striving.  But trusting You. From São Paulo to Houston, from Nairobi to Tel Aviv, across every place carrying need and uncertainty, You are present. You are providing. You are sustaining Your people. So I release.  I trust. I receive. In Your name, Jesus, I am provided for, I am sustained, and I am at peace. Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper, wherever you are across the world. Thank you for making daily prayer part of your life and part of the rhythm of your day. Come on, we're gonna jump straight in. How are you feeling? It is the early evening devotional prayer time, and the title is coming from the beautiful book of Psalms 23, verse 1. Jesus, you are my shepherd today. Provide peace and bring peace to our lives. Holy Spirit, peace is needed across the world. And we pray right now, Lord, for Israel. Tel Aviv, Lord, we just pray for the peace of Jerusalem that your love and your mercy will rest over that land. But right now, Lord, wherever we are, bring peace to our hearts. And as we pray through Psalm 23, verse 1, the Lord is my shepherd. I lack nothing. So right now, Lord, at this hour, Lord, at this early evening time, Lord, we are tired and there's still a few hours to go. So Lord, we pause, we be still, and Lord, we hold on to the rhythm of heaven. Lord, you are the Lion of Judah. And Lord, we need peace in this evening. Lord, we need provision and Lord, we need rest. And right now we are praying for finances, dear God. We're praying for needs. We're praying for food. We're praying for the clothing on the children's back. We're praying for the workplace issues. We're praying for stability. So Lord, we need peace. We're praying out, dear God, a blanket prayer at this hour. And Lord, you are our shepherd, and we lack nothing. So Lord, I want to tell the world that we are living in abundance. Lord, I thank you that the shepherd has taken us to a new pasture. I thank you, dear God, the new field of life. Lord, is green, is lush. Lord, I thank you that the grass is evergreen, the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. You are our shepherd. You are our anchor. You are a way maker. You are the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. And Father, I pray right now as we pray through Matthew 6, verse 31. So why do we worry? Saying, What shall we eat? What shall we drink? But you tell us to seek ye first the kingdom of God. Holy Spirit, I pray that we will be men and women that will seek the kingdom of God. And Lord, that kingdom that is around us, that kingdom that is within, the kingdom of God. I thank you that we are living, dear God, not in lack, but we are living in abundance. We call the things that are not as though they are. And as we pray out across the world, live from London, England, Father, we pray for Israel, Tel Aviv, we pray for that Gaza Strip. We pray for the Middle East. We pray for the love of God to descend over Asia, over the Americas. We pray right now for the UK. We pray for every area of Europe. We're praying for breakthrough. We need peace, dear God, in every culture, every tribe, every language, every tongue. But Lord, we realize that this early evening that the Lord is our shepherd and we lack nothing. Lord, there is abundant flow in our lives. There is abundant life. Lord God, we hold on to the promises of God. Lord, we thank you right now that you are providing. We trust and we released any worry and fear that's over our lives. And we come to you right now and we say, Jesus, as this evening unfolds, Lord, as the children come home, as we're on the commute, Lord, will you help us to turn the key on the office? Will you help us to close the laptop on work today? Spirit of the living God, from the battlefield to the boardroom, to the field of life. Dear God, I pray, Lord, for the shopping run right now. The school run, Lord, the clubs, the netball, the basketball, the cricket, the rugby, the football, the swimming. Oh God, the after-school clubs, Lord, every rhythm of life, the drama classes, the acting classes, Lord, the picking up, the dropping off, the running around, dear God. Spirit of the living God, whatever our life is reflecting right now, we are praying for peace. And we pause and we say, Jesus, the Lord is our shepherd. We lack nothing. Spirit of the Living God, I pray for everyone that is listening to the sound of my voice right now. Lord, I thank you for their lives. Bless them in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. May God be with you in this beautiful early evening. Will you stay with me for the late night prayer? Please stay. God bless. I invite you to stay with me. I'll speak to you soon.
