John 14:27 — Jesus, Give Me Peace Tonight When Fear Tries to Take Over My Thoughts From London to New York, Sydney to Toronto, Cape Town to Singapore — this midnight devotional reaches every heart wrestling with fear, intrusive thoughts, and the heaviness that rises in the quiet hours. John 14:27 (NIV): “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” Psalm 4:8 (NIV): “In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety.” Jesus, tonight I bring You every anxious thought, every sudden fear, every moment when the darkness feels louder than my faith. You see the emotional pressure, the racing mind, the fear of what might happen, the dread of tomorrow, the intrusive thoughts that won’t settle, the spiritual weight that presses on the heart, the loneliness that rises when the world is quiet, and the moments where I feel small, shaken, vulnerable, overwhelmed, and unsure how to steady my spirit. And these reflect the exact global long-tail searches rising right now across the world — night fear prayer, Jesus calm my mind tonight, intrusive thoughts won’t stop, fear of darkness prayer, why am I anxious at night, prayer when I feel unsafe, Jesus protect my mind, peace before sleep prayer, fear of tomorrow, help me not feel afraid. Jesus, breathe Your peace into every part of me. Let Your presence calm my heartbeat, slow my breathing, settle my thoughts, and push back every lie of fear. Where anxiety rises, speak peace. Where dread tightens my chest, loosen it with Your presence. Where my mind spirals, anchor me. Where fear threatens to take control, remind me You already reign over the night and over my life. Let Your Holy Spirit cover my mind, guard my emotions, surround my home, and fill this hour with supernatural stillness. I declare I will not fear the night, because Jesus is here. I will rest under His protection, sleep in His peace, trust His Word, and face tomorrow with courage. His peace is my covering, His presence is my strength, and His love drives out fear. And to everybody that's listening to us throughout the month of January, no music, no travel, no news, just pure worship in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Come on, we're gonna jump straight in. We're gonna pray for global night fear to go wherever you are around the world. We're gonna pray for peace at this hour, whatever your time zone is, wherever you are around the world, if you've had a heavy day, a heavy evening, a heavy early hour, whatever is going on, we pray right now, Jesus, in the name of Jesus. Father, we come before you in the greatest name in heaven and earth. And Father, we thank you that there is power in the name of Jesus. But Lord, those sudden moments of fear, Lord, those sudden moments of doubt, those sudden moments of darkness where it just comes in like a flood. Father, we just pray for our race in mind for fear that overwhelms us, dread of the day, dread of the evening. Father, we believe in miracles, and wherever we are, we hold on. Right now to John 14, 27. Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you. I do not give as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled. Do not be afraid. The Spirit of the Lord is with you wherever you are. And Father, let's just lock in. Father, in the name of Jesus, give me peace tonight when fear tries to overtake my thoughts. Father, I pray for everyone that is worried, that is scared, that is just set aside, dear God, this time just to gather around for prayer. Lord, wherever we are, we say, Jesus, breathe peace into my life, peace into my every situation. Father, we believe in miracles. And right now, Lord, we need the hand of God. We need the love of Jesus Christ. And wherever we are scattered, we pray from London to New York, from New York to Sydney, from Sydney, Toronto, Cape Town, Singapore, Lord, at this midnight hour, at this devotional time, as we are stretching out, Father, as hearts are wrestling with fear, insecurities, thoughts, dear God, that we shouldn't be having. Father, the rhythm of this world. Father, will you remove the rhythm of the world? Father, the pots and the pans, the clutter in our lives. Father, remove the clutter at work, at home, in our relationships, Lord, in in school, wherever we are, from the battlefield to the boardroom. Father, remove the clutter that is around us. Father, we pray that we will not hold rubbish. Lord, that we will not hold, dear God, onto situations that have hit us hard in the past. That we will not hold, dear God, onto emotional feelings. Lord, that we will not be holders, dear God, of grief, of doubt, of worry, of fear. Lord, that we will not clog our house up with stuff from historical events. Father, we pray that we will walk by peace, that we will walk in home. So right now, Lord, Father, I pray that we will not live our lives, dear God, by clutter. Lord, just carrying stuff around us. Lord, we pray today that anxiety will go and fear will go and doubt will go. We'll believe, Lord, in miracles. Jesus, give me peace tonight when fear tries to overtake my thoughts. Lord, when fear starts to arise, when doubt starts to arise, when when all the area of life just comes down and tries to hit me. Lord, give us rest tonight before we sleep. Wherever we are around the world, from the battlefield to the boardroom, from the boardroom to the field of life, Father, we pray for the love of Jesus Christ to bring peace over us. Jesus, bring peace, we pray. The Bible says in John 14, verse 27, for each and every one of us, peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you. I do not give as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. Father, I pray that as we sleep, as we rest, whatever the midnight hour is, wherever we are around the world, Father, give us strength for the day that rises before us. May the Lord bless you and carry you. My name's Reverend Ben Cooper. I will catch you in a very short while on the next prayer. Never give up. See you soon.
