Joshua 1:8 — Jesus, Bring Peace to My Mind and Provision Into My Day From London to Hamilton, Rome, Houston, Tel Aviv, and Wellington — this midday devotional speaks calm, clarity, and provision into the pressures of today for believers across New Zealand and the world. Joshua 1:8 (NIV): “Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night… then you will be prosperous and successful.” Psalm 23:2 (NIV): “He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters.” Jesus, in the middle of this day I bring to You every weight I am carrying — the pressure to perform, the anxiety over finances, the stress of decisions, the emotional heaviness that sits quietly behind my thoughts, and the feeling that I must hold everything together alone. And these reflect the long-tail searches rising across New Zealand and the world right now: prayer for financial pressure, Jesus help me cope today, midday peace prayer, prayer for emotional overload, help me focus prayer, prayer for mental clarity, Jesus guide me today, prayer for strength in the middle of the day, prayer for workplace stress, I feel overwhelmed prayer. Jesus, speak order where my thoughts are scattered, peace where anxiety is tightening my chest, guidance where decisions feel confusing, stability where circumstances shake, rest where exhaustion creeps in, strength where weakness whispers, hope where fear tries to dominate, clarity where noise has taken over, provision where need is rising, and renewal where my spirit feels drained. Lead me beside quiet waters in my mind. Let Your word become the stabilising centre of this day — grounding my emotions, directing my choices, strengthening my focus, and renewing my courage. Let Joshua 1:8 discipline my thoughts and Psalm 23:2 soothe my spirit. I declare: Jesus walks with me into this afternoon, peace is possible, clarity is provided, provision is coming, fear will not rule me, stress will not consume me, and the Shepherd of Psalm 23 leads me into calm, strength, and confidence. Joshua 1:8 prayer, Psalm 23 midday devotional, prayer for financial pressure, Hamilton New Zealand prayer, prayer for emotional overload, Jesus guide me today, V3 ultra plus max prayer, global daily prayer devotional

SPEAKER_00:

Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper, recorded live here in London, England, where the world gathers for five minutes of faith, hope, love, and strength. If you've got a prayer request, email us very simply to the studio, which is infodailyprayer.uk. And I want to say thank you to everyone for your love, your support, your shares. Thank you to everybody that's on RB Christian Radio, and thank you also for everyone that is going back to the back library of everything we got. We got over 1,200 prayers at the forefront of what we are doing. And also we have a massive back library of church services, you know, podcasts, you know, Bible studies, prayer meetings, coffee and prayer. There is so much back in the history of what we've done. So may the Spirit of the Lord carry you today. I really do appreciate that you're with me. I invite you in. Stay with me wherever you are, stay with me in these prayer times. Download them, listen to them whenever you can. But come on, we're gonna lock in today. You know, we're believing for miracles. We believe that God is providing, God is making a way today. He will have provision for you, he will have provision for me. The Spirit of the Lord is over our lives. Jesus, bring peace to my mind and provision into my day. Lord, we love you and we bless you. And Lord, we're not gonna let this book of the Lord depart from our lips. Lord, we're gonna meditate on the word. Father, we thank you for the church, we thank you for pastors and leaders and ministries. We thank you for all that, Lord, but Lord, we want to go deeper. Lord, we want to go further, Lord, than the than the worldly secular church can ever take us. We want to go deep into the word of God. We want to go right into the throne room of grace. We want to go into the courts of praise. We want to lift up the name of Jesus. We want to see the glory. We want to hear the lion of Judah. Lord, we're tired of hearing of the bear of fear and the lion of doubt. Lord, we don't want to hear of those two wild animals screaming down our ears all day. Lord, we want to hear the Lion of Judah. We want to walk with the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. And Father, we believe Joshua 1.8 is for each and every one of us. Jesus, bring peace to my mind and provision into my day. Lord, wherever we are, from London to Hamilton, from Hamilton to Rome, Houston. Lord, we pray right the way through Tel Aviv and Wellington. Lord, right now, at this hour, Father, this devotional time together, bring bring clarity, provision into the pressures of our day. Lord, we believe that the fire and the anointing, Lord, remove right the way across the world, right the way through New Zealand. Lord, let us keep this book of the law always on our lips. Help us to meditate on it day and night. Then you will be successful and prosperous wherever you go. Father, lift the pressure to perform. Lift the pressure, dear God, for us to perform. Lord, help us just be me. Help us to be us. Lord, wherever we are from the battlefield, Lord, this battlefield, Lord, this land, Father God, we've got skirmishes going on. Father, there are bullets flying over our head. There are texts coming in. There are emails coming in, going out. Father, social media is kicking off. Lord, we do not want to engage in the warfare of the world. We want to walk in peace. Lord, we're not interested in social media. Lord, we're not interested in what the news is saying. Lord, we don't want to engage in what's happening around the world. But Lord, my eyes are attracted to what the world is doing. And I don't want to be attracted to the trash of the world. Lord, I want to walk in freedom. I want to walk in the glory. Lord, and we don't want to hear the bear, dear God, of fear. We don't want to hear the lion of doubt. Lord, we want to hear the line of Judah. Lord, we don't want to get caught in the trashy way of the things that are happening. Lord, we want to walk in glory. We want clean hands and a pure heart. We want the Spirit of the Lord. Father, make a way in the wilderness. Lord, help us to lie down in green pastures. Help me, dear God, to rest beside quiet waters. I pray for the listeners today that they will rest emotionally, that they will rest spiritually. Lord, as we go through the battles and the storms of life, Lord, strengthen us as we're on the battlefield. Strengthen us, dear God, as the waves, dear God, of the storm are coming over our boat of life. Father, we need the strength, we need your love, we need your mercy. But right now, we believe in miracles. And Jesus, bring peace to my mind and provision into my day. Lord, I want to remind you one more time, Jesus. Jesus, bring peace to my mind and provision into my day. The Spirit of the Lord is over you. Wherever you are, never give up. Let's be like Jacob. Let's wrestle with God until he blesses. Don't let God go. Don't let the word go. Do not allow fear to control us anymore. Who the Son sets free is free indeed. May the joy of the Lord be your strength. I will catch you at the next prayer.
