Where insecurity shakes me, steady my spirit with Your strength. Let Joshua 1:9 stand over my night — I am not alone, not abandoned, not forgotten, not unprotected. SPEAKER_00:

Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself Reverend Ben Cooper recorded live here in London, England, where the world gathers for five minutes of faith, love, hope, and strength. If you've got a prayer request, please email us at info at dailyprayer.uk. That is info at dailyprayer.uk. Wherever you are across the world, the love of Jesus Christ is over your life. We're going to jump straight into prayer and we invite every one of you. Good morning, good evening, good afternoon. My name is Rover Ben Cooper. Come on, let's just jump straight in. I don't know about you, but God, you've got to hold me tonight, Lord. Lord, I feel scared, I feel vulnerable. Lord, I feel lost. Lord, fear is speaking louder, Lord, than ever before. Lord, the pots and pans in my head are rattling, the world is making a noise, and Lord, I need peace. Father, in the name of Jesus, we need to sleep. Father, we need to rest. Lord, wherever we are right now, Father, from the battlefield to the boardroom. Father, we pray that the word of God will carry us right now. And Lord Jesus, hold me close tonight when fear speaks so loud in these dark moments. Lord, I need your presence. I need your love. I need your stability. Lord, you tell us through the great book of Joshua, chapter 1, 9, have I not commanded you, be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid. Father, these scriptures just keep coming alive over the last few weeks. Lord, they seem to be so strong and so powerful. And Lord, we keep reading, we keep praying. Lord, we need to see significant change in our lives. Father, we want, dear God, the fear, the doubt, the worry to go. Lord, we watch the news, we listen to the radio. Father, we see stuff on social media. Lord, we have a heavy day today. And Lord, we pray that wherever we are, Father, at this midnight hour, Lord Jesus, hold me close. When fear starts rattling my mind, Father, Lord, I don't want that rattle in my mind. Lord, I want to be able just to rest. Lord, at this midnight hour, Father, as the globe, dear God, through this devotional time, Lord, we pray for strength when weary hearts are facing anxiety, loneliness, and emotional overload. Father, we don't want emotional overload. But Father, I don't want to walk the same rhythm. Lord, I don't want to walk the same path. I don't want to go down the same cul-de-sac as I went down, dear God, in 2025. Lord, I want to be free. Right now, Lord, as we are in 2026, Father, we need the love of God and the power of the Holy Spirit. Lord, you see every hidden fear rising at night. Lord, you see our hearts. You carry the tears. Lord, we pray, Lord, that you will carry us. Lord, some of us are tired and weary and exhausted. Jesus, hold me close tonight. When I feel afraid of the dark, Lord, when I can't sleep, I'm worried about in the morning. I'm worried about the children. I'm worried about relationship. Lord, I'm worried about life, the money, the financial strain. Lord, the hurdles of life. Father, Lord, I don't want to jump any more hurdles of life. Father, I just want to come, Lord, to you and say, Jesus, carry me at this hour. Lord Jesus, hold each and every one of us. And Father, wherever we are, from London to Zurich, from Zurich to Chicago, from Chicago, Jerusalem, Auckland, Father, at this midnight hour, at this daybreak. Lord, if we are kicking the duvet off, Lord, strengthen us. Lord, if we're pulling the duvet over, strengthen us. Whatever we are doing in life, Father, just come. Lord, hold me today, Jesus. Hold me today. Holy Spirit, lead me at work. Holy Spirit, lead me to the cross. Lord, lead me to the Word of God. Because Lord, when we feel alone, we feel abandoned, we feel forgotten. Lord, we feel unprotected. Lord, we feel that we've been catapulted out into the atmosphere of the world. And Father, we feel very vulnerable. Lord, we don't want to feel anxious. We don't want to feel scared. But today, wherever the listeners are, we pray, Lord, for spiritual breakthrough. We believe, dear God, that the Lion of Judah is in our lives. But Jesus, hold us close today. Jesus, hold us close at this afternoon. Jesus, hold us close at the midnight hour, wherever we are around the world. Father, come in your full glory, strengthen us. You tell us in the beautiful book of Psalm 23:4. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me. Lord, I read it, I see it, but Lord, I need to feel it. Lord, I need to feel this, Lord. Lord, at this hour, at this early doors of the day, Lord, I need to feel this, Lord, this freedom. Come, Holy Spirit, bless us all, we pray in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Never give up. God is with every one of us wherever we are around the world. The Spirit of the Lord is with you. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me. I will catch you on the next prayer.
