Philippians 4:6 — Peace for Anxiety, Evening Stress & Overthinking Scripture NIV: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”  Psalm 4:8 — “In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety.”

From London to Jakarta, from New York to Lagos, from Sydney to Cape Town — a global 8 P.M. prayer within the DailyPrayer.uk 24-Hour Devotional Cycle. Evening hours amplify global search trends for anxiety, racing thoughts and emotional overload. As the day closes, people everywhere seek calm, clarity, and rest for the mind. Tonight we align with that need and pray for deep peace. Prayer Father, we bring You our evening worries, fears, pressures, and the weight of this day. Calm every anxious thought. Settle every overwhelmed heart. Bring rest to those who cannot switch off, who replay conversations, decisions, or regrets. Let Your peace guard minds that feel unstable and emotions that feel stretched thin. Lord, release a quietness that holds gently but firmly. Replace mental noise with Your whisper. Strengthen those who dread the night hours; surround their homes with safety and Your presence. Restore confidence where insecurity has risen. Bring clarity where confusion has settled. Jesus, breathe peace into every room, every heart, every mind. Let tonight be marked by supernatural rest, steadiness, and emotional renewal. Prayer Points: prayer for calm, prayer for clarity, prayer for peace, prayer for rest, prayer for stability, prayer for protection, prayer for emotional renewal Life Application Before bed, speak one scripture aloud and invite God’s peace to fill your thoughts. Surrender the day and trust Him with tomorrow. Declaration: I declare God’s peace quiets my mind and strengthens my heart tonight. SPEAKER_00:

Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper, recorded live here in London, England, where the world gathers for five minutes of hope, faith, and strength. Brother and sister, we want to say thank you for sending your prayers in and thank you for those that are uh sharing this stuff out. Please share it with your pastors, your churches, your brothers, your sisters, right across the world in the name of Jesus Christ. We love you and may God bless you. And also, please let's remind ourselves really quickly before we dive into prayer, every Sunday night, 9 p.m. live UK time. We are on RB Christian Radio as we beam that out of this studio, right now around the world, and also live, sorry, on X. You can find us live on X dailyprayer.uk at dailyprayer.uk. The Spirit of the Lord is over each and every one of us. We're going to jump straight in. Father, in the name of Jesus, we thank you for the love of God. We thank you, Lord, for your grace. But we pray for peace. We pray for global peace. We pray, dear God, for the evening stress and the overthinking that we have. We pray for every one of us that overthinks. We pray for every one of us, dear God, that over-engineers life. We pray for every one of us, dear God, that is hanging on to anxiety. Those that are having panic attacks, those that have been panicky over Christmas, Lord, all the way through. Lord, we believe right now that peace is abounding. You are the Lion of Judah. You are the great I am. So, Lord, we declare the word of God over our lives. We thank you for Philippians chapter 4, verse 6. Do not be anxious about anything. But in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God. Father, we thank you for this scripture. And Lord, as we hold on to Philippians 4, verse 6, do not be anxious about anything. Lord, we're not going to be anxious about the news. Lord, we're going to turn the news off now. And we're just going to close our eyes and just say thank you, Holy Spirit. Lord, we're not going to be anxious about what's happening in our families. We're going to close our eyes and just say thank you, Jesus. Lord, we're not going to lay in bed and get really frustrated with life and tear ourselves to pieces. We're going to close our eyes and just say thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Lord, for our lives. Thank you for our blessings. We count our blessings. We name them one by one. Lord, we thank you for people in our lives. We thank you for situations in our lives. We thank you for everything, Lord. Because the blessing of the Lord is over our lives and we're not going to be anxious about anything. But Lord, in every situation, every area of our lives, every situation according to your word, by prayer and partition. Lord, by supplication, by thanksgiving. Lord, as we pray, we say thank you. And Lord, we just say thank you, Lord, with a grateful heart. Lord, we present our request to the God of Israel, the Father of Isaac, Jacob, and Abraham, the Lion of Judah, the great I am, the God above all gods, the King above all kings. He is worthy of all praise. Come on, we're going to rise on wings as of eagles. Today, Lord, wherever we are right now, from London to New York, from New York to Sydney, Cape Town, Lord, we pray wherever we are in France, Lord, in England, Scotland, Ireland, and Wows, Lord, Bronaceres, Brazil, right the way through Tenerife, Lanzarote, the Spirit of the Living God is with us in Spain at this moment in time. Lord, touch our hearts, Lord. Lord, in Portugal right now, touch everyone in Portugal right now, Lord. Right the way through the Lebanon, Spirit of the Living God, we pray for revival. We pray for the evening stress to go. Wherever we are today, Lord, we believe in miracles. We believe in the hand of God. And Lord, not only do we stand in the book of Philippians 4, but Lord, also we hold on to Psalm 4, verse 8. In peace I will lie down and sleep. Father, I thank you for the book. In peace we will lie down and sleep. And wherever we are gathering, I thank you that fear goes. I thank you that panic, panic attack goes, that doubt goes. Lord, that unsettling feeling of being overwhelmed, it is gone at the name of Jesus. And I ask every one of us, Lord, that we will be able to switch off, shut our minds off, relax, and say thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. Bring peace to every room, every heart, every mind, every home. Lord, and I thank you that we are marked by the supernatural presence of Jesus Christ. Lord, wherever the listeners are with me at this moment in time, I thank you, Lord, for their lives. Lord, whatever their name is, whatever tribe they're from, whatever tongue they speak, Lord, I thank you for each and every one of you. Thank you for standing with us. Thank you for praying with us. Until tomorrow, if you want more daily devotions, go to the social platforms dailyprayer.uk and also please come and uh download all these podcasts. We have over 2,000 in the back library alone.
