NIGHT COMFORT & GOD’S NEARNESS IN THE QUIET HOURS Welcome to Christmas Week Prayer with Reverend Ben Cooper, recorded live here in London, England, where the world gathers for five minutes of faith, hope, and strength. We go straight into prayer. Psalm 4:8 — “In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety.” Isaiah 41:10 — “Do not fear, for I am with you… I will strengthen you and help you.” Tonight, global searches rise for “can’t sleep,” “night anxiety,” “God be near me,” and “peace before bed.” The quiet reveals thoughts people hid all day, and many feel alone, restless, or emotionally tender after Christmas. Father, in Jesus’ name, draw near in the silence of this night. Bring comfort to the one lying awake with worries that feel heavier in the dark. Surround tired minds with your nearness. Ease loneliness, soften sadness, calm overthinking, and restore deep rest. Speak peace into every fear, strength into every fragile place, and hope into every weary heart. Let your presence fill bedrooms, living rooms, hospital wards, and care homes tonight. Be the light in every shadow and the voice that whispers, “You are not alone.” prayer for peace, prayer for night comfort, prayer for sleep, prayer for anxiety relief, prayer for God’s nearness, prayer for rest, prayer for calm thoughts, prayer for emotional healing, prayer for hope, prayer for strength Before sleep, meditate on Psalm 4:8 and breathe slowly until your thoughts settle. I declare that God’s peace and nearness fill this night. SPEAKER_00:

Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself Reverend Van Cooper, recorded live here in London, England, where the world gathers for five minutes of hope, strength, and faith. Sister and brother, we want to say thank you so much for standing with us over this Christmas period. We know you've been busy, we know you've been tearing your hair in pieces, the kids have been going absolutely crazy. The husbands, the wives, everything's been going on, the aunts, the uncles, the brothers, the sisters, the cousins, all the tribes. Everything has gone well, gone wrong. It's all upside down, it's all inside out, but all is well. What in the name of Jesus? Come on, we're human beings. We're human beings, and it is that time, it is that season. But now we're on the tile end. We're coming out of Boxing Day. It is about 10 p.m. now. 10 p.m. just going 10 past uh 10, something like that here in the UK. And may God bless you and carry you. 10 p.m. Friday, the 26th of December, Boxing Day evening. Are you tired? Are you worn out? Holy Spirit, I pray for every listener right now. Lord, we've made it. We've got through two hard days. We're coming out the other side, Lord, and Father, we pray right now for those that have been stretched beyond stretched, drawn beyond drawn. Father, we pray right now for night comfort and God's nearness in these quiet hours. Father, as the kids are tucked up in bed, as we've thrown ourselves on the sofa, Lord God, as we might literally be crying and scared of what has just happened and what's gone on. I pray right now for any conflict that has happened over Christmas. I pray, dear God, for any slamming of doors, any aggro that's gone on, any fierce fighting that's happened, any words that have been said that shouldn't have been said. Lord, as we're coming out of Boxing Day, just gone 10 p.m. here live in London, England, I pray, dear God, that we will leave it at the cross. And we won't take anything, dear God, any attitude, any unforgiveness, anything, Lord, we won't carry it into the new year. So Lord, will you deal with each and every one of us? Lord, help us to forgive and to leave it at the cross. But right now, Lord, we hold on to the beautiful book of Psalms 4, verse 8. In peace, I will lie down and sleep. I pray for those that need peace, that are really are exhausted because of the mayhem and the things that have happened over the last few hours, a few days, and still going on. I pray, dear God, that we won't send that text, we won't respond to that phone call. But Lord, we're laying at the cross. And right now, Lord, help us to sleep. Dear God, in the name of Jesus, we pray for families that have been torn apart. We pray for families that have been healed as well. Families that have been drawn back together, situations that have been resolved. Father, bring peace before bed. Lord God, hear me as I cry out to you. Lord, the night anxiety as we're thinking back over the last few days, the last few hours, the situations around the dinner table, the words that have been said, the words that shouldn't have been said, the words that have been said, the things that have evolved, the things that shouldn't have evolved and shouldn't have moved forward. Father, we're asking you now that we will leave everything now at the cross. Lord, as we're coming out, Lord, two hours, Father, before we hit a new day, before we come out of boxing day. Father, I pray that we will come before you and just leave everything at the cross of Calvary. And Lord, we thank you in the name of Jesus. We just ask for the stillness of God, the peace of God, the love of God, and the power of the Holy Spirit. Father, we thank you that we've celebrated the season, the season, dear God, of hope. The season that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world. He is the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. And wherever you are tonight, whatever your life looks like, from Singapore to Johannesburg, from Johannesburg all the way to America, from London to France to Oslo, to Austria, Switzerland, Tel Aviv, Israel, wherever you are, Australia, Dubai, Egypt, Holy Spirit, these nations, the whole world, Father. Hawaii, bless Hawaii, Lord, Brazil, America, Paul Paulo. Holy Spirit, move by your goodness over these nations. Father, we are praying right now for Afghanistan, Myanmar. We're praying for all human beings around the world. Holy Spirit, bless every one of us at this season. But right now, Lord, as we have two hours, less than two hours before we're out of this Christmas season time. Holy Spirit, I pray. Father, bless the listeners wherever they are right now, in the name of Jesus. Bring your love, bring your mercy, bring your peace. I just want to say thank you to all the listeners that have stayed with us, even though my voice has gone. I've got a little bit tired and I've got a little bit agitated in my voice. You know, the Lord is with us. We are human beings here in the studio. We're not AI, we are real human beings. My name is Reverend Ben Cooper. Until tomorrow, never give up. But please also remember, don't leave just yet. Please stay with us for Sunday night live prayer at 9 p.m. We are on X and on RB Christian Radio. 9 p.m. UK time as we press out. But once again, thank you for standing. Thank you for praying with me today. For more daily devotions, go to the social platforms at dailyprayer.uk. God bless.
