EVENING CALM & EMOTIONAL RENEWAL AFTER CHRISTMAS FATIGUE Welcome to Christmas Week Prayer with Reverend Ben Cooper, recorded live here in London, England, where the world gathers for five minutes of faith, hope, and strength. We go straight into prayer. Matthew 11:28 — “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” Psalm 73:26 — “God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.” On Boxing Day evening, global searches surge for “calm my mind,” “evening peace,” “how to unwind,” and “emotional reset after Christmas.” Many feel overwhelmed, overstretched, or quietly exhausted. Father, in Jesus’ name, bring calm to our minds and healing to our emotions tonight. Settle thoughts racing from pressure, noise, and expectation. Lift the heaviness that settles when the day slows. Restore peace where tension lingered through Christmas gatherings. Speak strength into those feeling drained or directionless. Cover every home with gentleness, every heart with stillness, every mind with renewed clarity. Let your presence soften anxiety, lighten burdens, and restore hope within the quiet hours. Fill this evening with your rest and let tomorrow rise with fresh grace. prayer for calm, prayer for evening peace, prayer for emotional healing, prayer for anxiety relief, prayer for strength, prayer for clarity, prayer for rest, prayer for God’s presence, prayer for comfort, prayer for renewal Take 60 seconds of silence before sleep and breathe Matthew 11:28 over your thoughts. I declare that God’s rest and emotional renewal fill my evening. Share this prayer and visit DailyPrayer.uk for global devotional resources.

SPEAKER_00:

Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself Reverend Van Cooper recorded live here in London, England, where the world gathers for five minutes of faith, hope, and strength. Brother and sister, thank you for everybody that is sowing a seed into this ministry. Buy me a coffee, three pounds a month. Hit the show notes below. Thank God for your lives. Thank God for everyone that's praying for us. And please pray for me. You know, my voice is giving out. My my voice, I shouldn't say is, I should say, Father, I thank you that you're healing my voice in the name of Jesus. Sister and brother, wherever you are, will you join us every Sunday night, 9 p.m. UK time? Uh, you can follow us on X, listen to the service, live stream on X, and you can hear it on RB Christian Radio every Sunday night. Live prayers, 9 o'clock to 9.45. We're in. Father, in the name of Jesus. It is boxing day, Lord. We come to you. And Lord, we come to the cross today. And Father, we say thank you. Thank you, dear God, for the love of Jesus. And through this commercialized season, dear God, through this December month, Lord, the pressure, dear God, of just being a human being, Lord, will you draw us close to you? Will you bring us to the cross of Calvary? Will you bring us, dear God, to that place of refreshment? Lord, we want to come to the well. We want to come to the well of hope. And right now, on the evening of Boxing Day, right now, Father, in the name of Jesus, Friday, the 26th of December, now at 8 p.m., Lord, we need evening calm. We need emotional renewal for all those that have thrown themselves on the sofa, all those that have just chucked themselves on the floor, those that are just worn out after Christmas fatigue. Everything that's gone on for all those that have just shut the door on the family and said, God bless you, see you in a year's time, Spirit of the Living God, bring peace to every home right now. Father, we love you. We worship you and we adore you. And we thank you, dear God, that there is power in the name of Jesus. Lord, as we wipe our brow of the Christmas sweat and it's gone, right now, Lord, will you heal us? Will you prepare us for the days that lie ahead? Father, at 8 p.m., just gone 8 p.m. on this Friday, Boxing Day, here in the UK, as we record this live here in London, England. Father, I pray for an outpouring of the Spirit of the Living God from London to Johannesburg, from Johannesburg all the way to the Americas, to Hawaii. Lord bless Hawaii, Tel Aviv in the name of Jesus. Lord, Israel, we pray for Israel, that the love of God will be around Israel, Afghanistan, Hong Kong, China. We pray for China right now, Lord, that the love of Jesus will be over China, Taiwan. Lord, bless Taiwan, Singapore. Lord, bless every tribe, every tongue, every heart. This hour, Lord, we're praying for evening peace. Help me to unwind. Lord, help us to unwind, dear God, after this Christmas craziness. So Lord, will you help us to unwind in the name of Jesus? Father, will you bring your peace? Will you bring your love? Will you bring calm to my mind? Evening in peace, help me unwind, Lord. This emotional rest, dear God, after the Christmas mayhem that has gone on. Lord, feeling overwhelmed, overstretched, and quietly exhausted. Father, we love you. And we worship you and we adore you. And I pray for every listener right now that the gentleness of God will be in their lives. So wherever we are gathering, whatever life may be, bring peace and hope. Let your goodness, Father, be like a fragrant. Let your power pour out over us. But you are the Lion of Judah, you are the King of the Jews, you are sovereign, you are El Shaddiah. You are our Redeemer. And Lord, I pray that your love, your mercy, your goodness will fire us up today. Sisters and brothers, God is healing you, and wherever you are, I pray for Matthew 11, 28. The Bible says, Come to me, all of you that are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Jesus Christ is giving you rest. Psalm 73, verse 26. God is strength of my heart and my portion. Come to me. Father, in this closing moment of this prayer, you're calling the listeners of myself to come to you right now. Lord, we're weary and we're heavily laden and we got burdens. But you tell us you'll give us rest. So every listener right now, give them rest, I pray. Let them feel the love of Jesus, bring calm to their hearts, their minds, their bodies, and their souls. Lift them up right now. Thank you for their lives, Lord. But bless us. Thank you for praying with us today. For more daily devotions, follow us on the social platforms at dailyprayer.uk. God bless.
