Welcome to Christmas Week Prayer with Reverend Ben Cooper, recorded live here in London, England, where the world gathers for five minutes of faith, hope, and strength. We go straight into prayer. Philippians 4:7 — “And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Psalm 4:8 — “In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety.” Across the world tonight, many are lying awake replaying moments, overthinking family tensions, finances, or the emotional weight of December. Global search behaviour spikes sharply in the hours after Christmas as minds struggle to switch off. Father, in the name of Jesus, bring deep peace to every restless mind awake in this hour. Quiet the internal noise, silence intrusive thoughts, and calm the spirals that feel too heavy to carry. For those reviewing yesterday’s conversations, soothe regret. For those anxious about the days ahead, steady their breathing. For every listener whose thoughts jump from one worry to another, let your peace rest gently upon them. Cover homes with stillness. Guard minds from fear. Replace cluttered thinking with clarity. Let the night become a place of restoration, not pressure. Surround every weary heart with your presence until calm settles fully. prayer for peace of mind, prayer for overthinking, prayer for calm at night, prayer for anxious thoughts, prayer for rest, prayer for mental clarity, prayer for sleep Before sleeping or settling again, place your hand over your heart and whisper: “Lord, guard my mind with your peace.” I declare that my mind is guarded and settled in the peace of Christ tonight. SPEAKER_00:

Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself Reverend Ben Cooper, recorded live here in London, England, where the world gathers for five minutes of faith, hope, and strength. God bless you. Wherever you are joining us around the world, it is the 26th of December. The Spirit of the Lord is over each and every one of us. And how are you feeling right now? Do you need peace? Do you need peace for the overloaded mind? Is your mind all over the place? The spirit of the Lord is with you. Come on, let's knuckle down and pray. Father, on the name, in the name, around the name. Lord, with the name, on that name we stand, with that name we walk. Lord, and around that name we hold tight. So, Father, we thank you for this. Is Friday the 26th of December, 3 a.m. As we pray now in the name of Jesus. Spirit of the Living God, I pray for every listener right now. I pray that, Lord, that you will bless them from the crown of their head to the sole of their feet. For those, dear God, that are need in peace, because their mind is overloaded. Father, we pray for that overload. Lord, that pressure of overload, the Christmas overload, the stress, the family, the children, the husband, the wife, the brother, the sister, the friend, the cat, the dog, every situation. Lord, the spiritual power that is over us now. Lord, give us peace. Lord, bring peace to our hearts right now. Lord, Father, in the name of Jesus. You tell us right now, Lord, Philippians 4, verse 7. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guide your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Father, everything has affected us. Everything, dear God, has been heavy going, but Lord, the joy of the Lord is our strength. And today we hold on to the power of the word of God. And Lord, we thank you for every human being that we have come into contact with over the Christmas period. Lord, if it's been tough, thank you, Jesus. If it's been good, thank you, Jesus. Whatever it has been like over the last few days, Lord, give us the strength to keep going. And for those that are celebrating Christmas Day today with their loved ones and their friends on December the 26th, wherever they are around the world, Father, let the love of God be with them in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Father, let your love and your peace resonate with every household. Father, if it's just one in the house, Lord, or it's a hundred in the house, Lord, let your presence and your love be with people. But Father, we need Philippians 4, verse 7, and the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Lord, we want to lock down. And wherever we are on the battlefield of life, whatever is going on through this Christmas season, what is ever happening in our lives, Father, we want to give God the glory. And tonight, Lord, as many lay awake, Lord, relaying moments, relaying conversations, thinking, pondering over certain things, overthinking family tensions, financial pressure. Lord, the emotional weight of December, Lord, as we search the Father's heart, Lord, as anxiety spikes right now in the early hours. Father, come. Holy Spirit, Lord, just reveal yourself to each and every one of us. We need our God and we need our King. And you are the great I am. You are Yahweh. You are Jehovah Jirah, Jehovah Nissi. But Father, in the name of Jesus, bring deep peace at this hour. Lord, bring deep peace at this moment, dear God, across the world to each and every one of us. And we're praying for peace. We're praying for love. We're praying for the love of God and the power of the Holy Spirit. Lord, and as we just come to you right now, Lord, let your love, let your mercy, let your saving grace, Lord, just dwell on us today. And wherever we are gathering, whatever is going on in our hearts and our minds, Father, we thank you for the beautiful book of Philippians 4, verse 7. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. But Lord, we don't leave it at that. Father, we hold on to Psalms 4, verse 8. In peace, I will lie down and sleep. For you alone, Lord, are my safe place of dwelling. Lord, I pray for those that need to crash out, dear God, right now. For those that need to sleep, I pray, Lord, that their sleep will be sweet. And they will find that place, Lord, where they will find a place of rest. Holy Spirit, bless every heart right now that is with me. Let the love of God be over their lives. Father, we're praying for calm tonight, anxious thoughts to go. We're praying for rest, mental clarity. Lord, we're praying for sleep. But right now, God, we pray for every heart that is with me. That the love of Jesus Christ will be with each and every one of us. Thank you for praying with us today for more daily devotions. Follow us on the social platforms at dailyprayer.uk.
