SPEAKER_00:

Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself Reverend Ben Cooper, recorded live here in London, England, where the world gathers for five minutes of faith, hope, and strength. God bless you. Wherever you are around the world, it is the 25th of December. It is 8 p.m. Christmas Day, and we are getting there. Oh my goodness, Lord, I've got to undo my belt. Lord, I've eaten too much. Lord, I've drunk too much. And I mean water and coffee, sister and brother. Come on, let's pray. Father, in the name of Jesus, Lord, we're tired. Lord, and as evening approaches right now, here live in London, England, out of this studio at 8 p.m. Christmas Day, the 25th of December, Lord, we thank you that we celebrate today the birth of Jesus Christ. But right now, we need rest for every home. Lord, it's been a long day. Lord, the battles, the fears, the worries, the doubts. Lord, wherever we are, dear God, from the battlefield to the boardroom, from the boardroom to the field of life today. Whatever life looks like, Father, from the Christmas dinner table to the dining room table to the breakfast table, dear God, as the kids have been driving us nuts all day. Lord, we love the children, but Spirit of the living God, we need peace now. Lord, we need peace, Father. It's been a tough month for December, Lord, and we're cracking out of it right now. But Lord, I thank you for today. And Lord, for this Christmas prayer special hour, Lord, please keep me awake in the name of Jesus. Lord, it's been a long 24 hours, and Lord, we pray right now that the love of God and the fire of God, Lord, as we lock shields, come on, let's lock together. Come on, let's lock in at this hour, 8 p.m., live here in London, England. Father, we get on the field of life and we pray for one another. We pray for everyone's house. We pray, dear God, for loved ones that are with us and loved ones that are gone. We pray for families and friends. We pray for work colleagues. We just pray that the love of God will carry us in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. And we want rest tonight. We need peace, Lord, because it's been a long stretch. And Father, we thank you for the love of God is over our lives from London to Singapore. Lord, if we're in Singapore, Chicago, Mumbai, Sydney, Amsterdam, Lord, all the way down to the Scilly Isles, all the way round, dear God, to France, the Ukraine, Russia, China, Hong Kong. Let your mercy be poured out right now, Lord, at this Christmas day. Father, as we gather around the Word for prayer, dear God, at three minutes past 8 p.m. UK time, Lord, let your love be poured out. Lord, we thank you that the day is coming to an end because we're exhausted, we're weary. And as the world is looking for peace, as the world is looking for calm, rest and relief from emotional overload, Lord, we feel spiritually drained, emotionally worn out. And Lord, through the day's activities, through everything that's gone on, Lord, at the evening now, wherever we are around the world, Lord, bring that quiet peace to hearts and minds. Lord, those hearts that need rest right now, stillness, Lord, those that are hurting, Lord, behind those eyes, those that feel pain right now for missing loved ones and friends. Lord, as the world starts to rest, as the world starts to wake up, whatever the time zone is, whatever the tribe, whatever the town, wherever you come from, I pray that the Lion of Judah will wrap his arms around you. You will feel the love of God at this hour. Lord, I thank you for the listeners that have gathered with us today from 12 a.m. early this morning. We thank you, dear God, that we stayed and we locked in, dear God, in this prayer room. Spirit of the living God, I pray, dear God, as we are reaching, you know, almost four minutes past eight at night within the UK, Lord, we're asking for breakthrough. We need peace because as the day starts to come to an end, Lord, and we can't move anymore off the sofa, we are absolutely crashed out, Spirit of the Living God, bring peace to every heart, every mind, every human being that is with me right now. Lord, before we get our eyes shut, Lord, whisper in our hearts, I will never leave you nor forsake you. Bring peace to lives. I declare that the peace of Christ is over you tonight, and the love of Jesus is with you. Wherever you are around this beautiful world, I thank you for joining and staying with us for all these prayers we push today. And we will see you again at 10 p.m. tonight, Christmas Day, 10 p.m. UK time for more daily devotions. But you can listen to so much of a back library, almost a thousand prayers. A thousand prayers and almost equally that amount of podcasts that we've done right from the very, very beginning of lockdown. Do you remember that? Did we have lockdown? What was all that about? May God bless you wherever you are. Thank you for joining us. Never give up and get some rest.
