Psalm 4:8 — Freedom from Night Anxiety, Panic and Sleeplessness. From London to Kuala Lumpur, from Chicago to Cape Town, from Oslo to Santiago — we pray for calm, rest and freedom from anxiety in the early hours of the morning. Primary Scripture Psalm 4:8 — “In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety.” Philippians 4:7 — “The peace of God… will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” In these final December days, global searches for “panic at night,” “can’t sleep,” and “prayer against anxiety” sharply increase. Psalm 4:8 becomes one of the world’s most-read verses during early-morning fear and restlessness. Prayer  Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray for every listener who has battled night fear, sudden panic, racing thoughts or restless sleep. Calm the heart that wakes too quickly. Quiet the mind that will not settle. Bring peace to those who dread the night or fear the morning ahead. Lord, break the cycle of anxious spiralling. Let Your presence fill bedrooms, hospital wards, night-shift breaks and lonely spaces. Replace tension with rest, fear with assurance and uncertainty with divine peace. Speak stillness to the inner storms and let sleep return gently. Jesus, guard every thought, soothe every breath and hold every heart in Your perfect peace. Prayer Points night anxiety prayer, psalm 4 sleep prayer, early morning calm, panic relief prayer, anxious heart healing, peace through jesus Life Application  Before rising, place your hand over your heart and speak Psalm 4:8. Let God set the tone of your day with peace and emotional steadiness. Declaration I declare night anxiety is broken, and God’s peace guards my mind. SPEAKER_00:

Welcome to Daily Prayer with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper, recorded live here in London, England, where the world gathers for five minutes of faith, hope, and strength wherever you are right now. We're praying for the love of God. We're praying for the Holy Spirit. We're asking God that through this month that the love of Jesus Christ will strengthen us. Are you worried? Are you having panic attacks? Are you finding that you can't sleep? That you are so tired and exhausted? Come on, let's pray. We're in Psalm 4, verse 8. Lord, we pray today. And Lord, we thank you for every listener. And Lord, we invite them into this prayer place, this prayer space together. Wherever you are, listeners, come on, let's get into prayer. Let's scrum down on the on the rugby field of life. Let's lock into prayers wherever you are. I welcome you into this prayer room. Wherever you are, I welcome you in. Don't worry about how you feel. Don't worry about what life looks like. We're all tired. We all need freedom. We all need the release of anxiety. We need peace and we need the love of God. Are you experiencing panic attacks, sleeplessness? Come on, let's pray. Father, in the name of Jesus, you tell us in peace I will lie down and sleep. For you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety. Lord, this scripture is arising a lot lately. And Lord, we gotta dwell in safety because, Lord, we feel vulnerable. Lord, we are tired and we need freedom from night anxiety. Lord, we are having panic attacks. We're scared, we're worried. Lord, the finances are not making it. Lord, we're worried about jobs, life, family situations, children, Lord, relationships, Lord, wherever we are gathering from London to Kuala Lumpa, from Kuala Lumpa to Chicago, from Chicago to Cape Town, Oslo, Lord God, in the name of Jesus, Spirit of the Living God, we need the Lion of Judah, Jehovah Jirah, Jehovah Nissi, Jehovah Shalom. You are the King above all kings. You are the God above all gods. And right now we're praying for calm, we're praying for rest, and we're praying for freedom from anxiety. Lord, in the early hours of this morning, Lord, we don't want to get up for work. Lord, we're tired. Lord, we want to just bury ourselves in the bed. Lord, we can't face the world. Lord, we are trying to sleep. And Lord, we're even pretending to be asleep. Lord, come, Holy Spirit, remove the night sweats, remove the night tremors, remove the worries, the fears, the doubts. And Lord, we pray today that Psalm 4 verse 8, Lord, will not only be a part of our lives, but it will be in the skin that we walk in. In peace, I will lie down and sleep. Lord, I ask you for every human being that is struggling to sleep now. I pray that they will lie down and sleep. The Bible says in Psalm 4, verse 8, in peace I will lie down and sleep. For you alone, Lord, make me dwell in a safe space. Lord, I thank you, Lord. I love you. I bless you. Lord, I thank you that the love of God and the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit is in our lives. But Lord, wherever we are gathering, Lord, we're on the commute run still, Lord. Suddenly, Lord, we're on the train and we got sunny, sudden panic attack. Lord, there are racing thoughts. We feel restless. We can't sleep. We're tired. We're weary. We're exhausted. Lord, our diet isn't right. We're not drinking enough water. We're weary, blessed and highly favored amongst all this, Lord. We are blessed and highly favored amongst the weariness. Come on, Lord, we got to turn this around. Lord, give me the power. Lord, give me the understanding that all is okay. But Lord, half of me is panicking, half of me is praising the Lord. Half of me is exhausted, half of me is rising on wings as of eagles. Lord, I am switching in and out, backwards and forwards. Lord, I need healing from anxiety. Lord, I need peace through the name of Jesus Christ. And wherever we are gathering, we believe in miracles. So at this moment, Lord, give us quietness for our mind. Settle our thoughts. Heal us at the midnight hour. Heal us at the early doors of the day. Lord, if we're rising in the morning, Lord, get us up, get us dressed, get us out in the name of Jesus. Lord, if we're trying to sleep, help us to sleep in the beautiful name of Jesus Christ. But Lord, we got to hold on to Philippians 4, verse 7. And the peace of God will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Lord, guard us today. Wherever we are around the world, Spirit of the Living God, bring peace. Help me because I can't sleep. Help me because I'm panicking at night. Help me, Lord. Pray in dear God against anxiety. Sharpen my faith right now in Jesus' name. May God bless you and carry you. My name's Reverend Van Cooper. Until tomorrow, never give up.
