Romans 10 : 9 — Jesus Is Lord : Unity, Peace and Rest for the World

“If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”
Romans 10 : 9

Recorded live here in London, England with Reverend Ben Cooper.

As night settles across the nations, Romans 10 : 9 calls the Church to one confession.
From east to west, the same truth unites believers: Jesus is Lord.
His name brings peace where fear once ruled and light where darkness lingered.
Across France, Spain, Italy, Japan and Kenya, hearts lift in worship to the risen King.
This confession is more than words—it is the anthem of salvation and unity.
Tonight we rest beneath His authority, covered by His unbreakable peace.

Paragraph 1 – Context
In a divided world, the confession Jesus is Lord binds believers in unshakable unity.
Romans 10 : 9 is the heartbeat of salvation and the banner over the global Church.
No border, culture or language can divide those who call on His name; one Spirit joins them all.

Paragraph 2 – Reflection
Peace is not the absence of noise but the presence of Christ.
When we speak His Lordship, anxiety and conflict lose their hold.
The same resurrection power that raised Jesus now restores hearts, nations and relationships.
Where His name is honoured, reconciliation begins.

Paragraph 3 – Intercession & Vision
We pray for France, Spain, Italy, Japan and Kenya.
Let Christ’s peace fill leaders, homes and churches.
May revival rise through confession and compassion.
Unite the global Church to declare one hope, one faith, one Lord—Jesus Christ.

Before we go any further, I just want to say thank you for staying with me. When I cough, when I stumble, when I get tongue-tied, when I say the wrong word. You know, but this is straight out the barrel of truth. This is live. We are not cutting it, we are not pre-recording it. This is coming straight out of the barrel of truth. So yes, I will cough. Yes, I might sneeze. Yes, I will get tongue-tied because I am real. I'm not an AI, I am Reverend Ben Cooper. We're straight in and we're in Romans 10 verse 9. If you declare with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe with your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Father, I want to thank you for salvation. I want to pray for the listeners right now. Lord, I want to give thanks for their lives. I know that Jesus Christ is Lord over your life, that there is unity and there is peace. And I pray for salvation today, for this world that is dying. I pray, dear God, for any areas of confusion that you will straighten them out across every tribe, every tongue, every nation today. Wherever we are gathering, the name of Jesus still brings peace. The name of Jesus is around the world. From France to Spain, Italy, Japan. Hearts are lifting up and worshiping the risen King. Father, there is only one risen King, and his name is Jesus. It's a global anthem of faith and hope that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world. And Lord, wherever we are, dear God, from the battlefield to the boardroom, from the boardroom to the bus stop, from the bus stop, dear God, to riding the bike to school. Father, from the lecture hall, dear God, to grabbing a coffee, dear God, to sitting on the edge of the bed. Lord Jesus, wherever we are, on the treadmill of life, on the treadmill within the gym, driving the van or the car, Lord, whatever we are doing, Father, we know that we are born-again, spirit-filled believers. And yes, Lord, my life does not reflect that very well. But I believe, dear God, in the power of confession. I believe, Lord, I'm a sinner saved by grace. And Lord, clean me up. Lord, keep us on the potter's will. And I come to you today and I confess, Lord, I thank you that every tongue, every tribe, Lord, I believe every word we speak. Lord, we know that you're not absent. We know that you're in our lives. We know that we got chaos and carnage everywhere. We look at our lives and we go, Lord, help me today in the name of Jesus. The same power that raised Jesus Christ from the dead now works within us, bringing forgiveness, rest, and reconciliation. Lord, I thank you that every ear, every heart listening and receiving this word, Lord, I want to tell the listeners today, very loud and clear, we are, you are redeemed. That we have redemption. And Father, help us to work our salvation with fear and trembling, Jesus. Lord, wherever we are, Father, the nations and the tribes and the tongues, Father, Japan, Italy, Spain, and France. Lord, across the world, Father, Lord, let your love remain over our lives. Father, we want to feel the compassion of heaven. We want to hear the whisper of the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. Lord, I want to thank you that every one of us carries the greatest name in heaven and earth. We believe in one hope, one Lord, one Jesus Christ. We know that you are Lord over the church. Father, I thank you that I haven't got to go to church to get Jesus. I haven't got to get religious to get Jesus. I haven't got to do anything because Jesus has got each and every one of us. So, Father, we pray right now. We believe and confess that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forevermore. And we thank you for salvation. We thank you that we are born-again spirit-filled believers. And we pray for everyone listening to my voice today. Whatever hour is, whatever the weather is, if the sun's rising, if the sun is setting on your day, I pray that God will cover you in so much love and authority that you will fill and your heart will smile because you are saved. You are blessed. You belong to Jesus Christ. And Romans 10 verse 9 shouts out aloud Let us enter his gates with thanksgiving in our heart. Enter his courts with praise. We are saved and we belong to Jesus. There is hope, and his name is Jesus. Never give up, never give in. Stay close to the Word of God until tomorrow.
