Show Notes

When the winds roar and waves rise, hope may feel distant — but God’s promises hold firm. Across Jamaica, communities face the power of nature and the uncertainty of tomorrow. Yet Scripture reminds us: the One who calmed seas still commands the storm. From London to Kingston, from New York to Montego Bay, believers join hands in prayer for relief, restoration, and safe shelter for every life and every home. May strength rise in the broken, may courage fill every heart, and may hope shine through every dark cloud.

SPEAKER_00:

Thank you for joining us today on our Daily Christian Prayer Podcast. You know, wherever you are situated across the world, we want to let you know that the Spirit of the Living God is over you. And uh we're recording this live here in London, England, and we thank God for your life. But we just want to quickly uh pray, and I don't mean quickly in a bad way, but we just want to put a prayer out there for Jamaica right now, that God will shelter them from the storm. There is a storm that is raging right now uh over Jamaica, and we pray right now, brothers and sisters. Let's get straight into prayer. Let's pray. We're gonna go to Psalm 107, verse 29, and this is for Jamaica that that Jamaica will get through, that the Lord will spare Jamaica right now. So, Father, we thank you for this scripture, Psalm 107, verse 29. Uh, and then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, he brought them out of their distress. Oh God, please, he stilled the storm to a whisper and the waves of the sea he hushed. Father, in the name of Jesus, I pray that the storm will be a whisper in Jamaica now. Father, whatever the time zone is, Father, we pray as the storm is raging that there will be breakthrough right now in the name of Jesus Christ. Lord, from Kingston, Lord God to Montego Bay, Father, we pray that you will cover Jamaica with the blood of Jesus. And we pray for them in this global prayer. Lord, we cover Lord God right now in prayer that Jamaica will find freedom through this crisis. Lord, when the wind is soaring, when the waves are rising, Spirit of the Living God, we pray that hope, Lord, may move across Jamaica today. Father, we pray that God's promises will hold firm across Jamaica, that communities that are facing, dear God, such powerful devastation of nature, Father, be with them today and tomorrow. Lord, we ask you that you will be with those right now, that they will feel the love of God and the Holy Spirit. Lord, we pray for families that lives are being turned upside down right at this moment in Jamaica. We ask you, Father, that peace will fall on Montego Bay. Lord, right across, dear God, Kingston, right away across that beautiful place of Jamaica. We ask you, Father, that you will protect Jamaica during the storm right now. Lord, that you will give relief and comfort for the Jamaican people, that they will find relief. We pray that nations will rebuild the broken parts. We pray, dear God, for communities in Jamaica, that they will find refuge and strength. We pray that you will remove the fear, families that are losing homes in Jamaica, that they will find strength and perseverance during this devastation time right now. Father, let hope arise in the midst of the storm. Father, we pray that Jamaica will shelter over peace, through peace, around peace. Lord, let there be peace over Jamaica now. Lord, we pray right now that support will go right the way through. We pray that nations will carry them right now in the name of Jesus. Father, we pray for this hurricane, this hurricane Melissa. We pray that there will be breakthrough in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Lord, these winds that are 185 mile an hour. Dear God, the rain that is coming down. Lord, the oh Jesus, please, God, we pray, Lord, right now that hurricane Melissa will decrease right now, that the fire of God, the power of God, the glory of God, the presence of God right now. Lord, stop that wind at 185 mile an hour. We declare the word of God. Lord, we ask you that devastation will stop at the name of Jesus. We pray, dear God, that God will close the storm. Spirit of the living God, we are watching devastation right the way across Jamaica. Oh, please, God, let there be shelter for them. Lord, when the storm rages, Father, let there be peace. Guard their hearts, protect the children, protect the families. Father, in the name of Jesus, stop the storm. Come on, God, please, we pray for Jamaica right now. Lord, the prayer is right across the world. Bless Jamaica. Let the Spirit of the living God, Lord, let them find shelter in the storm. Let them get under the presence of Almighty God. Our brothers and sisters and the families that are out there today. Lord, bless them from the crown of their head to the sole of their feet. Lord, let there be breakthrough. Holy Ghost, dear God, we need you, Lord, to stop this storm. Lord, please, God, we ask you right now that there will be relief. Father God, that food will get out to Jamaica, that power will get out to Jamaica, that clothing and shoes, Father God, that you will bless everyone that lives in Jamaica. Father, as they are facing these winds and these storms that are catastrophic, God, we pray for Montego Bay right now. We pray, dear God, for Kingston. We pray, Lord, for relief, restoration, safety, and shelter, Father God, to every home. Lord, all those that have lost their homes, their lives. And Lord, we pray for those that have lost their own life in this storm. Dear God, will you do a miracle? Lord, I don't understand. We don't get it, but Father, right now, we pray that as this big storm, the storm of the century, Lord, is pounding the shoreline. Oh my God, in the name of Jesus. Lord, this is a powerful storm. This now has to stop, Lord. Father, the cry is now. Father, Lord, let the whisper, let the power of God, Jesus, come, Lord. We need your word right now. Lord, bless the Prime Minister of Jamaica. Bless the families. Bless everybody. Father, as they're losing their roofs of their homes, as their houses are being flattened, as schools are being torn to pieces, businesses, Father, hotels, every area. Dear God, in the name of Jesus, we ask, dear God, that this Hurricane Melissa, Lord God, will do an about turn and you will draw it out of Jamaica. Spirit of the living God, make a way where there is no way. But Lord, I don't understand. We just don't understand. But God, please, obviously, Father, this is the signs of the end days. This is the signs of the end of the world. This, dear God, is showing us what is going to happen in the end days. Father, come and bring peace. But Lord, how can we pray? Please, Jesus, get the storm out of the way. We need a miracle. Bless Jamaica today, whatever their time zone is, Holy Spirit, let there be a miracle in the wonderful name of Jesus Christ. Amen. My name's Reverend Ben Cooper. May the Lord carry you, bless you, heal you, sustain you. God bless.
