Scripture (NIV):
“Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.” — Psalm 27:14 (NIV)

Recorded live here in London, England — where faith meets the world in daily prayer and global hope.

Show Notes
Prayer for hope and courage. Prayer to stay strong in waiting. Prayer for renewed faith in hard times. Prayer for courage to face tomorrow. Prayer for trust when you can’t see the way forward. Global prayer for strength and peace across Nigeria and the nations.
The world is weary, but the Word is alive. Psalm 27:14 reminds us that courage grows in stillness. Waiting on God is not wasting time — it is the battlefield where strength is born. When hope fades, His Spirit revives. When fear shouts, faith whispers, “Wait for the Lord.” Wherever you are — London, Lagos, or Lisbon — this is your reminder that God never delays, He prepares. Stand still. Hold hope. Take heart.

SPEAKER_00:

Thank you for joining us today on our daily Christian prayer podcast with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper, recorded live here in London, England, where faith meets the world in daily prayer and global hope. Today we are praying for hope and courage. I pray for each and every one of you that God will give you more hope and more courage. And please, can you bounce it back to us here in the studio? That the Lord will give us more hope and more courage. But wherever you are across the world, the global prayer right now is for Nigeria, that God will restore Nigeria in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We're coming out of Psalm 27, verse 14, and we're gonna jump straight in in just a few moments. This is so powerful, this time that we lock together. Five minutes to five and a half to six minutes as we lock shields of faith. I want to tell you that God is with you right now. If you can support us via prayer, please keep praying for us. Also, can you click the stars? Whatever platform you're listening to, please click those, give us a review, they're absolutely critical. Also, we thank you for those that have and who are and prayerfully thinking about sewing uh a few quid into this ministry. Hit that hyperlink, uh, three pounds a month, have a peruse all the way through. Buy me a coffee, a great way just to give us a couple of quid. May the Spirit of the Lord be with you. Father, right now we thank you that we are standing, we are resting, we are walking, we are running, we are alive. Lord, whether we're in a hospice or a hospital, whether we're cutting the grass, whether we're at school, whether we're at home, whether we're in ministry driving, from the bus to the aircraft, from the aircraft, dear God, to the gym, from the gym, dear God, to the college, from the college to the school gates, from the school gates to the school run, wherever we are, walking, working, father, sitting on a scaffold, in a van, whatever we may be doing, Father, we pray that the fire of God will descend right now in the name of Jesus Christ. Because we're Lord, we believe what the scripture says in Psalm 27, verse 14. Wait for the Lord, be strong, take heart and wait for the Lord. I gotta tell you, sister and brother, be strong and keep waiting. Never give up, be strong, wait for the Lord. God is giving us clear instruction now to wait, not to fluster, not to run, not to faint, not to turn to the left nor the right, but to wait. Hold that place. Be strong where you are, be strong and wait. The Bible says, be strong, take heart and wait for the Lord. The spirit of the Lord is over you. You know, you might be crying and God sees your tears. You know, the pain that you are going through is just for a moment. The spirit of the Lord is resting on your shoulders. It's not just on your shoulders, it's in your spirit. It's not just in your spirit, it's in your heart. God is in your DNA, He is in your bones, He is giving you strength right now. The prayer for hope and courage, the prayer to stray strong in waiting, the prayer for renewal in faith in hard times, for courage to face tomorrow. Lord, help us to face tomorrow because I don't want to face tomorrow. I'm scared about tomorrow. Lord, help me to trust in you when I can't see the way forward. Lord, the global prayer is for strength across Nigeria and the nations across the world. Wherever we are, whatever tribe, whatever tongue, whatever nation we're from, Lord, Jew, Greek, or Gentile, slave or free, we thank you that we are blessed in the name of Jesus. Lord, this is a world that is weary. Lord, this is a world that is tired, and we want the word to be alive. And Lord, we thank you for Psalm 27, verse 14, because it reminds us to be courageous. It reminds us to stand strong, it reminds us to move in the power of the word of God. Lord, when hope fades, the spirit revives. Lord, when fear shouts, faith whispers. We want to hear the heartbeat of God. We want to feel the power of the Holy Spirit. Lord, we wait. We wait for the Lord. We are holding our place and we are waiting. Don't matter where we are in the world, from London to Lagos, Lord, we are here. Even, Lord, right the way through Lisbon, all the way through Australia, right the way around the globe. Lord, whatever nation, tribe, and tongue we are from, we stand still. He is preparing you. We hold on to faith. Take heart in the name of Jesus. Father, I want to pray. Lord, I want to pray for all the listeners. I want to pray that they will find hope and renewed courage today. I want to pray that they will find strength when feeling weak, patience while waiting on God, courage to face fears. Lord, all the way from Nigeria and the believers right the way across Africa. Lord, we pray that all of us will ride through faith today. Lord, that we will rise in faith as we wait for different seasons to come our way, that we will find peace in trouble, hope during uncertainty, emotional strength and courage. We trust in God's timing completely. Lord, your timing is perfect and just. And right now, Lord, we make this a life application wherever we are across this world. Lord, we shout it out today very loud and very clear. I will wait for the Lord. My hope is alive, my courage is growing, my faith is strong in Jesus. We thank you, Jesus. We thank you, Holy Spirit. Whatever tribe, whatever tongue, whatever nation, whatever backdrop we're from, whatever life looks like in our lens, we are blessed and highly favored because I'm waiting on the Lord. Don't give up, sister. He sees your tears, he sees them, brother, wherever you are. He hears your heart beating in your chest. My name's Reverend Ben Cooper. Until tomorrow, never give up.
