Show Notes

Welcome to the Daily Christian Prayer Podcast with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper, recorded live here in London, England — where faith meets the world in daily prayer and global hope.

Prayer for Relationships, Prayer for Family Healing, Prayer for Marriage Restoration, Prayer for Broken Friendships, Prayer for Love and Unity, Prayer for Forgiveness and Reconciliation — these are the searches flooding the earth right now. And the Word of God declares: “Be kind and compassionate… forgive as Christ forgave you.”

The greatest healing often begins not in the body but in the heart between people. God is restoring families, rebuilding friendships, and breathing life into relationships that once felt beyond repair. Compassion heals where anger divided. Forgiveness rebuilds where pride destroyed.

As we pray today, let kindness rise above conflict and love rise above offense. Let the Spirit of the Living God mend every relationship fractured by words, distance, or misunderstanding. The Cross is proof that reconciliation is possible — Jesus bridged the greatest divide so we could bridge ours.

No relationship is too broken for grace. No heart is too cold for mercy. Healing begins when humility meets love, and God steps into the middle.

We're going to the book of Ephesians 4, verse 32. Be kind and compassionate. God, I love that Jesus. Lord, I want to read this scripture gently and slowly so it penetrates our skin today. Be kind and compassionate to one another. Forgive each other just as Christ God forgave you. Holy Spirit, I want to walk in kindness. I want to walk in compassion. I want to walk in forgiveness. I want to walk holy. I want to walk, Lord, in steps that are ordered by the Lord. I don't want to walk in frustration and trouble. I don't want to walk, dear God, in turmoil. I don't want to wake up in stress and fear. Lord, I want to walk in freedom. I want to walk, Father God, in healing today. I want to feel this brokenness to go, Jesus. I want this loneliness to go, Lord. I pray for love and unity across the world today. I pray for Israel. I pray, Father, for what's happening in Israel and every nation and every tribe and every tongue. I pray, Lord, for forgiveness and reconciliation. And I thank you that we find that at the cross of Calvary. I ask you, Lord, that the listeners will know that they are forgiven and they feel the power of the Holy Spirit in their lives. But we want to declare today that we are Jesus' followers. Lord, we want to feel the newness. Lord, we're tired of the old ways. We're tired, Father God, of this unbelief nation in which we live in. Lord, we need this restoration. Lord, I pray that the church, every one of us, will get on our knees and pray. Lord, that we will find a quiet space, that there will be healing and restoration from broken lives. I pray, dear God, for relationships to be restored. I pray that the covenant of love will be over all of us. I pray this feeling of guilt and shame will go today. I ask you that grace, grace will mend us. I ask that healing of hearts, wounds of betrayal and rejection will go. Peace for communities, reconciliation between parents and children, strength to forgive and rebuild trust. I ask you, Holy Spirit, that we will feel the love of Jesus, that you will rebuild communities and the church of Jesus Christ. I pray, Father, that religion Lord won't separate, that religion, dear God, will bow the knee to the King. I pray, Father, that as we realize that we are born-again spirit-filled believers, I ask that it will be healing in every area of our lives, that we will walk in kindness, we will walk in forgiveness, we will walk in the gifts of the Spirit, Lord, the fruit of the Spirit, that we will walk in those areas of beauty and majesty. So Lord, I want to tell the world today wherever they are. Lord, I ask you that you will make my relationship with you stronger and greater. I want you to heal me. I want to walk in purity and love. I want to smile again. I want to feel the rain on me. I want to be happy and I want to walk in the love of Christ. I want to know, Lord, that my name is stamped in the Lamb's Book of Life. And I pray for across the world today that the listeners, as we open up to you today, Jesus, as we're honest and we're putting our life on the table, we tell the world that I love Jesus. I love Jesus. And I want to walk greater with my God. We want to walk greater with our King. And I ask you, dear God, right now, that healing begins. Healing begins now. At this very second, we start to feel in our hearts there is something happening to me. And I'm going to smile again because the joy of the Lord is my strength. I'm going to smile again because this is my destiny. I'm going to smile again because the prison doors have been taken off the hinges. I'm going to smile again because I'm out of this slavery situation. I'm going to smile again because I'm free from the abuser. I'm going to smile again because I'm in green pastures. I'm going to smile again because the Good Shepherd is leading me to new beginnings. My name's Reverend Ben Cooper. May the Spirit of the Lord lead you. I thank you for joining with us, partnering with us, holding together in the valley. May God cover you from the crown of your head to the sole of your feet in the love of Jesus Christ. Until tomorrow.
