Wherever you are today, we're going to jump straight into the Gospel of John, chapter 14, verse 27. And without further ado, let's read what the Word of God says. And it says, Peace I leave you, my peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. I want to tell you now, as we record this live here in London, England, as this devotional time, as we gather around the Word of God, do not be afraid. Whatever you face, do not be afraid. We will get you a Bible wherever you are across the world. May the glory of God be over you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. There is favor of your life, the God that you serve is with you. Do not be afraid. I want to encourage you now, do not let fear take you any further down the road. Because there is a place for you. Now let's get into prayer. Father, I thank you that you tell us, Lord, through the Gospel of John 14, 27, peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you. I do not give as the world gives. Father, I thank you that you do not give as the world gives. Because Lord, what the world has given us, Lord, is not good. So, Father, we thank you that you give us your peace. I thank you that you leave your peace with us. But Lord, why am I still in turmoil? Why do I still feel gritty, frustrated, and lost? Lord, I need more of your presence. Lord, I need to come to the cross more. I need to get in the Word of God more. Lord, my heart is troubled. You tell me, do not let your hearts be troubled. But Lord, my heart is troubled. Sometimes, God, I find it so difficult to walk in faith. Lord, sometimes I find it so difficult to read the word. Sometimes I find it so difficult to pray when life is overwhelming and fear is coming in like a tsunami. Lord, I get scared, I get worried. Lord, please help us, Lord, wherever we are across the world. You tell us through the Gospel of John 14, 27, do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God and do not be afraid. Lord, I want to declare right now that I'm gonna try and I'm gonna learn not to be afraid. I'm gonna take this word as it is an absolute, and I'm gonna read this word and I'm gonna believe that Jesus gives us peace. And Lord, every time I've got a bit of turmoil, I'm gonna think of Jesus. Every time I'm a bit worried, I'm gonna put my eyes on Jesus. Every time, Lord, I'm scared, I'm gonna keep my eyes on Jesus. Lord, I pray, Lord, that your word will come alive in our spirit, that peace will overtake anxiety, that peace is in families today, peace in nations that are at war, peace in workplace, churches, financial stress. Lord, this is so scary. The financial stress over our lives, personally, ministerially, Lord, whatever situation we're in, Father, financial stress is heavy. We're tired, we're weary. Lord, I pray for those that feel broken today, those that just feel broken because of anxiety, that they can't see any future in front of them. But Lord, that you will bless them and carry them, and the power of God, Lord, will reach down from heaven and touch their hearts, their minds, their body, their souls. Lord, we thank you that peace overrides spiritual battles. And when we are in a spiritual battle, Lord, we got peace. Lord, as we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, we will fear no evil, for you are with us, your rod and your staff, they comfort us. But right now, we pray for peace across the globe. We pray, Father, that there will be love, Lord, in every town, every village, the love of God. We pray, Lord, for this nation in which we walk in, Lord, that your presence will heal broken lives, that your love will restore us now in Jesus' name. And Lord, I ask you that peace in the name of Jesus, Lord, we make this a life application. Lord, we shout the name of Jesus over our lives. We pray this through today. And Lord, as we have these prayer times together, as we lock shields, as we believe in the Holy Spirit, Lord, we declare this over our lives, that the peace of Jesus rules our hearts. Lord, I want to tell the world that the peace of Jesus rules our hearts. I will not be afraid. Lord, I will not be afraid in the name of Jesus. Lord, I'm gonna rise. We're gonna rise, we're gonna stand right now. And we believe in the power of God's word, that there is no anxiety in our lives, that we are free today, who the sun sets free is free today. And Lord, I pray for peace to abound, the love of God to be overlive today. Lord, you're telling us do not let our hearts be troubled, but to, dear God, to trust in you, not to be afraid. But Lord, help us not to be afraid. Help us to be faithful, help us to be strong in the word. Help us to take hold of these prayers. Lord, I need Jesus. We need Jesus. Lord, there are troubled times. Lord, the waters are rising. It is reigning, dear God, over our lives, and we need peace. Today, Lord, we declare that anxiety is gone, fear is gone, doubt has gone, and peace arises in our spirit. Lord, let your love come down. Let your mercy move over our hearts today. In the most beautiful name, in the greatest name, in the lovely name of Jesus Christ. There is power, sister. There is power, brother, in the name. Speak that name over your life. Lord, I thank you for every sister, sister, every brother that is joining us right now through the power of the word, dear God of podcasting. May your spirit be carried by Jesus. May you feel the love of God. May the Lord keep you and bless you until tomorrow.
