SPEAKER_00:

Thank you for joining us today on a daily Christian prayer podcast with myself, Reverend Ben Cooper, wherever you are today. You know, we are recording this live here in London, England. We want to encourage you right now to stand on the gospel through the word of God. We want to encourage you to lock shields with us today. Wherever you are, whether you're on a commute, whether you're at home, whether just sitting on the edge of your bed, when you're just sitting on the sofa, wherever you are, listening to these podcasts, you know, just having a tea or a coffee, sitting at your desk wherever you are, I pray that you will find peace today. I pray that you will find the love of God and Jesus will stir your heart and you will smile. I pray that you will feel that there's a passion burning in your spirit to be a Jesus follower, to follow Jesus and to leave the world. Without further ado, we're jumping in and we're staying in. And we've been in for just a little while now for these six prayers this day. We've been in the Gospel of Matthew, chapter 6, verse 13, and the daily prayer is simply this: lead us not into temptation. Deliver us from the evil one. Lord, the prayer of protection, Lord, the spiritual warfare that's out there. Lord, we come to you as we record this live here in London, England. We pray, Lord, that we will put the armor of God on, that we will be deliverance. Father, that we, dear God, will not be tempted in any way by the world, but you will deliver us from the evil one. Father, help us not to give the devil a foothold. Lord, help us not to get caught in the worldly attributes. Help us, Lord, not to conform to the pattern of the world, but have our mind renewed and transformed by the mind of God. I pray, Lord, that we won't get tempted. We won't get drawn. We won't get lured into what the world is doing. Father, I pray, Lord, that we won't, Lord, put our head, dear God, in the area, Lord, of unfamiliar territory, that we won't lay down, dear God, in Delilah's lap just like Samson did. Lord, that we won't sit at the gate. We won't sit at that gate just as Lot did at Sodom and Gomorrah. But Lord, that we will lift up our hands and we will worship the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. That we won't be tempted by temptation itself. Lord, that we will stand strong and stand tall in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Father, I thank you that this prayer of protection, this prayer, Lord, will lead us free from temptation and deliver us. I pray for deliverance today. I pray, Lord, that as we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, we will find that there is power in the greatest name. And Lord, I thank you that as millions of us search this prayer against temptation, this deliverance prayer, this Christian prayer for protection, Lord, we need protection over our lives. Father, as spiritual warfare, as the dark days start to get harder and darker, as the days get shorter, as the seasons are changing, as the as the church is falling away. Lord, we thank you that we don't need the church, we need Jesus. We thank you, Lord, that we don't need the liturgy, we need the word of God. We thank you that we don't need religion, we need Jesus Christ. So right now, Lord, we thank you that the devil is a liar and he is crushed because of the blood of Jesus. And Father, as we walk through the valley, Lord, we put on the armor of God. We got the helmet of salvation, we got the breastplate of righteousness, we got the belt, dear God, strapped around us, the buckle of truth. We got the sword of the spirit. Lord, we carry the shield of faith. Lord, we thank you that our feet are fitted with the gospel of peace. And Lord, you tell us, blessed are the peacemakers. Come, Holy Spirit, into our life today. Lord, break temptation, break this temptation, break what the world is trying to do. Father, we pray that there will be a cut right the way through these satanic chains. That today, Lord, the shackles are gone. We are free. Lord, the chains of adversity are gone. The chains of yesterday, the chains of history, the chains of life, that we are free. Who the sun sets free is free indeed. And Lord, we pray that we will not stumble or we will not foul. We pray, Lord, as God's children, as we walk forward, Lord, that we will walk strong. Lord, we will walk tall and we will walk in the protection of the blood of Jesus. We are safe under your hands. We sit under the shelter of the Most High. And today, Lord, we thank you for Matthew chapter 6, verse 13. The prayer of protection against all temptation, against deliverance. We are delivered, once delivered, once and for all. We are blessed, Lord, in the name of Jesus. And today, Lord, as we engage maybe in spiritual warfare, we thank you that the battle belongs to the Lord. The glory of God is over you, brother. The glory of God is over you, sister. And against the enemy, we don't need to jump in the arena. We've just got to smile and we just got to say what David said to Goliath. You come against me with sword, spear, and javelin, but I come in the name of the Lord. Tell the devil that he's a liar. Tell the devil that there is no temptation that is common to man. Tell the devil that I'm protected by the blood of Jesus. Let's make this a public declaration right now, wherever we are across the world. Let's make this a life application for this moment. Whether you're on the commute, whether you're running for another coffee, whether you're going to the loo at work, whether you're at school, whether you're cutting the grass, whatever you are doing, whether you're on the commute, the school run, may the spirit of the living God be over you today and declare to the listeners around you tell those that are on the tube train with you, tell those that are in the van with you, tell those that are flying in the aircraft with you, tell those in your school, tell those in your staff room, tell your family sitting on the sofa with you, tell your pastor that the devil is a liar and I'm breaking out of the temptation because Lord, I am not allowing temptation to hold me back. Lord, I walked strong today. I'm blessed and highly favored. I'm wonderfully and fearfully made. And our God is protecting us. Our God is the God above all gods. Our God is the father of Isaac, Jacob, and Abraham. Our God is El Shaddai, Jehovah Jireh, Jehovah Nissi, Jehovah Shalom. Our God is a healing God. Our God tells cancer to go. Our God, Lord, tells sickness to bow. Our God puts the stars in the heaven. Our God is doing a miracle in our lives. Our God is our God. May the Spirit of the living God be over you today. And wherever you are, I want to tell you right now that God's deliverance for you is over your life. The old is gone, the new has come. There is power in your life, and the Spirit of God, the Spirit of the Holy God that we serve. What was hovering over the surface of the deep in Genesis chapter 1, that same spirit of God is with you now. Do not give up, never give in. God is moving in your life. May the glory and may the power and may the word of God carry you into your destiny. Until tomorrow. God bless.
