Speaker 0:We're going to dive straight into Psalms 85. We're going into Psalms. Do you need peace in your life? Do you need the love of God and the power of the Holy Spirit? Do you need rest for your heart, your mind, your body, your soul? Let's get straight in to the book of Psalm, the prayer for peace, psalm 85,.
Speaker 0:In to the book of psalm, the prayer for peace, psalm 85, verse 8, and it says I will listen to what god says. He promises peace to his people, his faithful servants, but let them not turn to folly. Father, I pray that I will not turn to the way of the world, that I will not turn to the way of what the world is offering to folly. But lord, I will come to the word of god today, that I will not turn to the way of what the world is offering to folly. But, lord, I will come to the word of God today and I will stretch out today because, lord, I need the prayer of David, I need this daily prayer. I need this substance, lord, I need this Lord.
Speaker 0:I pray for peace in troubled times. I pray for God's promises to bring calm. We ask you for strength in weariness and times of trials. Spirit of the living God, I ask you that you will give us Christ's rest, that we will see the hand of God in our lives. But right now, lord, father, draw us to the cross, draw us to this place, lord, we want to listen to the heartbeat of God. We want to feel your presence.
Speaker 0:Lord, we call on the greatest name in heaven and earth. We search the scriptures for answers. We are looking for peace. We need peace, we crave peace, lord. We want calm in troubled waters. We need the prayer of peace in the time of stress. We're praying for God's promises in rest, lord. We're hoping and we're looking for blessing over family, over life, over church, over ministry, over work, over every area of our life. Lord, we pray for strength in weary times. Let this be the day that the Lord has made Lord, let us rejoice and be glad in the name of Jesus.
Speaker 0:Lord, we call on the greatest name in heaven and earth and we need peace today. So, lord, through the psalmist, through the psalm writer, through the prayer of David Psalm 85, verse 8, lord, the prayer of peace is burning in our heart. We need you, lord, in these daily walks that we have on this earth. Father, we do not want to conform any longer to the pattern of the world, but, lord, we want our minds transformed. So, father, will you deal with our minds today? Lord, will you transform our minds? But the prayer of peace in troubled times give us calm in our daily life. Lord, we need rest in Christ Jesus, the promises of God, to take us to that place of peace. Blessings and peace over our family, over our life, over our workspace, over the ministry, over every area of life. Strength for the weary, oh God. We need strength for the weary today. We need to trust you in God's unfailing love. Lord, renew that peace in our spirit today. Let the joy of the Lord be our strength. We need joy in God's presence right now, lord, we need peace to endure. Help us to make this a life application for every area of our life.
Speaker 0:Lord, we call for God's promises. We pray that peace will abound and, lord, that we will listen and obey Lord, that we will fall in love with the Father. We will hear the whisper of God. We will, dear God, long for the heartbeat of the Father. Lord, as we seek thee, lord, we look for you today, in times of trouble, because, lord, our heart is racing. Our mind, lord, is foggy. We need answers, we need help. So, lord, we call on the greatest name in heaven and earth, and we pray today for peace in troubled times. We pray that you will give us our daily bread, that you will strengthen us in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Lord, as we turn to thee, as we call on the greatest name in heaven and earth, lord, we need peace in troubled times. We need God's promises for calm. We need strength when we're weary and tired and exhausted and we can't find a way forward.
Speaker 0:Spirit of the living God, I pray that you will supercharge us up today, wherever we are across the world. Let the fire, let the glory. Let the fire, let the glory, let the power. Let the anointing Father, let your love shine down on each and every one of us. But today, lord, we declare peace over our lives. We declare healing, victory through the hand, victory through the power, victory through the word of God. So, lord, wherever we are, we thank you for Psalm 85, verse 8.
Speaker 0:I will listen to what God the Lord says. He promises peace to his people. Lord, your promise is that we will have peace. So, lord, we need to feel that fulfillment of that promise right now. So, lord, I pray for the listeners that they will feel the fulfillment of the living word of God, they will understand that the Redeemer lives and because he lives, they can face tomorrow. Fill them afresh today, lord, to their cup runneth over. We thank you for the prayer of David. Spirit of the living God, lord, charge us up with your glory today, lord, I pray for all the listeners, wherever they are, that the spirit of the living God and peace will abound in their heart and the word will set them free. Brother and sister, wherever you are, thank you for joining us for prayer across the other side of the world. May the fire of God sit on you, in you and around you until tomorrow.
