thank you for joining me today on our daily christian prayer podcast with myself. Reverend ben cooper recorded live here in london, england. This is our five minute time of renewal as we gather around the word of god, as we seek peace, as we seek the father's heart, as we lock shields of faith together, as we stand tall and strong as warriors for Christ Jesus. And let's remind ourselves that we are braggadocious. Let's remind ourselves that we are born again believers, that we believe from Genesis to Revelation, and God is with you, sister or brother, wherever you are, whatever your name is. The spirit of the living God is over you. Thank you for all your prayers. We do appreciate your prayers. Thank you for those that prayers. We do appreciate your prayers. Speaker 0:Without further ado, let's jump straight in. We're in the book of Philippians, and I think you know where we're going today. The anxiety of the world is high, the storms are ferocious, you know, and we've got to trust in God. There are things happening that I thought we'd never see in our lifetime, but we are getting ready for the second coming of jesus. So, as we are being prepared for the second coming of christ, anxiety gets stronger, fear gets stronger, everything seems to get stronger and the power of god is getting stronger in your life. Do not fear, sister or brother, let's go. Father, in the name of jesus, we're in the book of philippians, 4, verse 6, and, lord, you tell us, do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to god.
Speaker 0:Father, I come to you today and, lord, I suffer with anxiety, jesus, as you are fully aware, and I ask you, lord, that you help me, lord, to not live in anxiety when I wake up in the morning, when I'm sweating, when I'm fearful, lord, I pray, lord, that you'll help me to sleep, the listeners to sleep. I pray that we won't keep worrying about money, about life, about situations, about work, about careers, about the children, about ministry. Lord, help us to not to be anxious, lord, how do I deal with this, jesus, I come to you, lord, as a son. I come to you right now, as a son, lord, with no titles on my back whatsoever, but, lord, I just come to you as a Bible-believing believer and I pray, lord, and as I lock shields with so many people across the world, and as we stand at the foot of the cross of Calvary, help us, lord, not to be anxious. You tell me, god, not to be anxious about anything, but in every situation, lord, every situation, help me to be more faithful in prayer. Help me to bring this petition, this request, form, lord. Help me to bring my list before you, lord, not Lord, god to list the things of the world, but, lord, the things mental health, fear, doubt, worry.
Speaker 0:I'm worried about finances in the church, I'm worried about my life, I'm worried about health, I'm concerned about relationships. Lord, I'm fearful, lord. I have, lord, so much to be thankful for and right now I pray, lord, for the listeners, in the mighty name of Jesus, as we come before our Father and our God. I thank you that we got peace in anxiety. We got calm in stress in anxiety. We got calm in stress. Freedom from the worry of cycle. Yes, lord, help me to get off the push bike of worry and fear and Lord, help me to walk in freedom.
Speaker 0:Lord, help us with sleepless nights. Oh please, god, sleepless nights. Jesus, we come to you right now. We declare that our sleep will be sweet. In the mighty name of Jesus, we trust in God's care. Courage in uncertain days, joy in depression. Joy, father, joy that will overarch and overpower depression in really pressurized situations. Give us clarity when we got brain fog, lord, remove the brain fog.
Speaker 0:Now, in the name of Jesus, healing from anxious thoughts. Oh Jesus, lord, these anxious thoughts, will you help me today? Help every one of us today. Remove the anxiety. Give me peace in my daily life, lord. Give us daily bread, lord, we need this daily bread. We need the well of life. We need, lord, rivers of living water. We need fire. We are thirsty and we are hungry. Help me to make this a life application. Help me, lord, when worry arises. Help me to pause and to pray through Philippians 4, 6.
Speaker 0:I bring my request to God and, with thanksgiving, I thank you, lord, that I'm not anxious. I thank you, lord, that I'm not worried. I thank you, lord, that I am blessed. I thank you, lord, that you are moving in my life. I thank you, lord, for every situation and today, lord, I thank you, lord, that you are moving in my life. I thank you, lord, for every situation and today, lord, I thank you that anxiety goes, lord, and in every situation, lord, I feel the glory of God, we feel the presence of the Holy Spirit. We are blessed and highly favoured. We are wonderfully and fearfully made With prayer and thanksgiving. We come to you today, our God and our King, our Redeemer, our Redeemer, yes, yes, we are redeemed. Sister, yes, brother, we have redemption.
Speaker 0:Lord, I thank you for the listeners. I thank you, lord, that we are not anxious for anything, but there is peace in anxiety, calm in stress. We trust in god's freedom from worry. Spirit of the living god, supercharge us today, fill us to the full measure of thy glory and, lord, we thank you that there is power in the name of Jesus. Come God, come Holy Spirit, through this stillness. Father, I thank you for everyone today. May the Lord be with you and keep you. My name is Reverend Ben Cooper and we will see you tomorrow.
