Speaker 0:We're going to dive straight in. We're going to the book of colossians, chapter 3. Colossians, chapter 3, verse 1, and I love this. This is so really needed for my life at this moment in time. Colossians, chapter 3, verse 1. Since then, you have received christ and been raised with christ, set your heart on things above, where christ is seated at the right hand of god father. In the name of jesus, I pray for all the listeners across the world. I pray that the fire of God and the love of the Holy Spirit will descend on each and every one of them, that they are presence, your mercy, your grace. Father, I want to set my heart on things above Lord. Help me to set my heart on things above this earth, lord, not to keep looking at this materialistic way of living, not to look on the socials, not to look, dear God, what is in front of me, but to look what is above me. Lord, I come to you today as a Bible-believing, spirit-filled believer, and I bring my brothers and sisters into the throne room of grace and we stand at the foot of the cross. Today and, lord, we say thank you that we've been raised with Christ, according to the word of God, according to Colossians, chapter 3, verse 1, we thank you that we have been raised with Christ and we're setting our hearts on things above, where Christ is. Lord, help us to look to the hills. Help us, lord, not to look to this natural world, to look to the political agenda, to look at the social networks, not to look at the world, but to look at Jesus. Father, I want to look at Jesus for every way, for every move, lord, I need to look at Jesus for every way, for every move.
Speaker 0:Lord, I need to come to you today and I pray for such an outpouring of your spirit over this nation, over our lives, that we will look above the political divide, that we will look above religion, we will look above politics, we will look into the presence of heaven itself. Lord, we will look, lord, to Jesus, the author, the perfecter of our faith. You tell us in the Hebrew writer. You tell us in Hebrews 12, fix your eyes on Jesus. Help me to fix our eyes, my eyes, all of our eyes, on Jesus, spirit of the living God. We come to you today, lord, and we pray that you will, dear God, carry the brokenhearted Lord, that you will wipe the tears of those that are crying. Lord, you tell us very clearly, lord, that we should come to you. All of us are the weary and heavy laden, and you will give us rest, lord, we're searching the heart of the Father. We need the Father's heart in our lives, we need your presence and as we fix our eyes on Jesus, we fix our eyes and we fix our heart. Lord, we fix our minds on things above Lord. Pray, lord, for heavenly blessings to fall. We pray as we fix our faith in christ jesus. We pray, lord, that as we live for eternal blessings, that the king of kings and the lord of lords will come down or you stretch down from heaven. You will hear our hearts cry, lord that you will bring us to the cross of calvary. That we will be focused on the king of kings and the lord of Lords. Lord, our focus on Christ daily, not every other day, not just on Sundays, not just at prayer groups. Lord, but, lord, I want to focus you on every day, every second, every heartbeat, every moment. Lord, I want to set my heart on things above, lord. I want to have a heavenly perspective.
Speaker 0:Lord, through trials and tribulations, lord, I want to set my heart to follow Jesus. I want to seek Jesus above all else. Oh God, will you help me to seek you above all else? Will you give me strength, lord, as I live and as we walk across this earth, lord, as our brothers and sisters on the other side of the world. Father, help us to overcome trials and tribulations. Help us to stand firm on the gospel of hope. Father, we pray that you will pour joy out over our lives in the presence of you right now, lord, I confess my sins. Lord, I have fallen short of thy glory, but by the power of redemption we're going to fix our eyes on Jesus. Help me to fix my eyes on Jesus.
Speaker 0:The author, the perfecter of our faith, lord. Our heart, lord, is longing for the heartbeat of God. We're longing. Help me to make this a life application right now. Help me, lord, to make Colossians 3, verse 1, a life application somewhere visible. I declare this scripture daily over my life. My heart is set on Christ above my heart is set on Christ, above Spirit of the living God. I want to fix my eyes on Jesus, lord.
Speaker 0:I pray for my brothers and sisters as we stand at the cross of Calvary, that, lord, that we won't be onlookers at the cross as they was when Christ was crucified.
Speaker 0:Lord, that we will run to the cross, we will get ourselves in the word of God. So, lord, I pray for the brothers and sisters across the world that they will feel the leading of God, the power of the Holy Spirit in their lives and, as we have prayed through Colossians, chapter 3, verse 1, lord, help us to to fix our heart on Christ, to fix our eyes on Jesus, to walk with you, to stand with you, lord. Let your anointing and your power flow. Let us feel the rhythm of heaven. Let us feel the rhythm of the word Father. We want to hear the whisper of God. We want the Father's heart. Lord, we want to know what the Father's heart is, and, lord, we seek that through the word of God. Bless everybody around the world, wherever they are today, whatever their time zone, is. My name's Reverend Ben Cooper, and it's a privilege to pray with you, to pray over you, and for you to pray with us. May God lead you today, whatever life looks like, just remember, fix your eyes on Jesus Until tomorrow.
