Speaker 1:

Let's get straight in now. We are in the gospel of John, chapter 8, verse 12. When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but have the light of life. Lord, we want the light of life, lord, we want the light of life. We know that we got it, father. We know, father, that there is a light within us. But, lord, help us to let this light shine. Lord, through my actions, through my life, through every area of life, let me tell the world that there is a light that is shining. Lord, you are the light of the world, you are the King of kings and the Lord of lords. And as we seek, seek, sorry, and search the father's heart, today we come to you, lord, and we say, lord, let us light up the dark places we go. I thank you that light is greater than darkness, that the word is within us, that your word is a lamp unto our feet, a light for our path. So today, through this time of coming, of walking, of standing, of being with you, through this time of coming, of walking, of standing, of being with you, through this devotional time, lord, we lock shields of hope with the listeners around the world.

Speaker 1:

Today is the prayer of hope in darkness. Today is the prayer of peace in fear. Today is the day where prayer for guidance of our lives, the prayer of God's truth, to shine in our hearts. Today, lord, we want to see the light being reflected off the tarmac of life. We want to see the light of the world. Jesus, you are the light of the world and today, lord, I pray that we will let our light shine, that we will walk, father, in grace and in mercy, we will walk in the healing Father. We thank you that Jesus Christ is the light of the world. We thank you that Jesus Christ is the light of the world. We thank you that Jesus Christ is the light of the world. There is hope in darkness. There is hope in fear. There is peace in fear. There is clarity in decisions. There is truth in confusion. Because light is shining, lord, there is courage to follow him. Lord, give me courage to follow Jesus, the light of the world. Father, you are the light of the world and through this Jesus prayer, through this prayer of just coming together, standing together as we walk, tall, as we walk, strong, father, I thank you that that light, father, is burning, that fire is burning in our innermost being. Lord, there is deliverance from darkness. Lord, we thank you that darkness only can exist because it has the absence of light. But right now, wherever we go, we carry the light of the world. We carry Jesus. We are light bearers. We carry and we are light bearers. And wherever we go, the light of the world is shining through us, through our skin, through our conversation, through our eyes. Lord, let the world see Jesus living in our lives. Let the world see the Christ that we lives. Let the world see the Christ that we serve. Let the world see that we are Jesus followers. Let us, lord, make this a life application. Today, when fear arises, let me declare, let us declare that Jesus is the light of my life. I will not walk in darkness, lord. I am not walking in darkness. We are not walking in darkness, we are walking in freedom. We are walking in darkness. We are not walking in darkness, we are walking in freedom. We are walking in power. We are walking in anointing, we are walking in hope, we are walking in glory, we are walking in the power of the word of God. And today is the day of breakthrough, sister. Today is the day of breakthrough, brother. Whoever you are, wherever you are, the spirit of God is over you and we pray that the fire burns in our heart. Burn in us today, father, let us affect the world around us for Jesus Christ. Let the world around us bow the knee to the King. Let the world around us see that we carry light, that we are light bearers, that when we walk into a dark situation, demons flee. Lord, fear flees at the name of Jesus. So, lord, let us make this a life application, as we declare through the verbalization of the word of God Jesus is the light of my life. I will not walk in darkness. We are free from darkness. Darkness has no power over us. Fear has to run. Give us strength in trials, in trial. Strengthen us. We thank you that we are equipped in the name of Jesus. But today, lord, through this quick-fired time together, I pray that. John 8, verse 12 and Jesus spoke to the people again and said I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness and will have the light of life. I'm going to tell you, sister and brother, you're never going to walk in darkness. It might seem it, it might look like it, it might feel like it, but the word of God is speaking to you and to me. We will never walk in darkness ever again. It's impossible, because that light cannot be put out. There is a light in you that is so powerful. There is. There is a light in you that is so powerful. There is a king living inside of you that is so powerful. The Holy Spirit is in your life today. God wipes your tears. God hears your heart beating. So let's seek the Father's heart today, whatever our lives look like, never give up. May the Spirit of God be over you today Until tomorrow.
