Thank you for joining me today on our daily Christian prayer podcast. My name is Reverend Ben Cooper. May the spirit of the living God be over you Wherever you are today. God hears the cry of your heart. God hears your heart's cry today. Wherever you are, god hears your voice. He sees you waking up as you are. He knows that you're on the commute of life. He knows he's walking with you. He's with you in the fire. He's with you in the valley. He's with you with the mountain experience. He's with you wherever you are. Please don't give up. Please don't give up. The spirit of God is over you.
Speaker 0:We're going to turn to the gospel of John today and we're going to go to John 14, verse 6. Jesus answered I am the way, the truth, the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. God has drawn you. God has drawn you through the cross. God is bringing you through. God is the way, he is the truth. Jesus Christ is in your life.
Speaker 0:Sister and brother, what trauma you've gone through. What pain you're going through. What worries you're going through. What doubtful moments you're going through. What worries you're going through. What doubtful moments you're going through, the questioning that you have in your head. God is going to lead you to new pastors because he's your way, he is your truth and he is your life. And I want to urge you and I want to encourage you now do not give up and do not give in. Do not allow the world to capture you. Do not allow the circumstances of life through this prayer time to hold you back. Rise on wings as of eagles, sisters and brothers. We are praying for you and we are praying for us. I'm praying for myself as I pray for you. You know I need God like never before in my life. We all need God. You know, even though I do what I do and you see what I do, you know I need God like never before in my life. You know, life sometimes looks like a wreck, looks like a mess, and sometimes it is a mess, but look for the power of God within that. Let's not look at the rubbish, let's look at the glory, let's look at the glory of God today, and we want to thank you for your prayers. Please can you pray for us as we stand together? Thank you for joining us on these quick-fired prayer times.
Speaker 0:As I said, we're going to the Gospel of John 14.6. As you walk to the coffee machine of life, as you drive up the corridor of life, may the Spirit of God be with you as you commute. Father, we thank you for the listeners today. We pray, lord, that you will bless them, pressed down, running over, shaken together. Lord, we pray that, jesus Christ, lord, jesus Christ, that you will reveal yourself to the listeners to me. Lord, we need you, father, we need you.
Speaker 0:We're tired of the way of the world. Lord, we're tired of all this news. We're hearing the shootings, the stabbings, the gun crime. Lord, we're tired of the fake media. Lord, we want peace in Israel, father, we pray for Israel today that the truth will come out, lord, that you will lead them in the way. Lord, bless Israel, spirit of the living God, move all the way through Israel, father, we pray that peace will abound through Israel and through Jerusalem.
Speaker 0:In the name of Jesus, we pray for every other nation that the truth of God will come to our nations, our towns, our villages. But, lord, you tell us. You tell us that Jesus said I am the way, the truth and the life. Lord, you give us three areas of speech there, god, and through this time, lord, I want to tell you that you are my way, that you are my truth and you are my life. And right now I pray for a great awakening through the Spirit of the Living God. I pray for a great awakening through the Spirit of the living God. I pray for a great awakening in the power of the Holy Spirit. I pray that you will stir my heart, that you will bless each and every one of us and that the favor of God will move through our lives. Lord, I pray that, at the name of Jesus, lord, as I pray, lord, I will realize that you are the way that the truth is in the word of God. And through the world's confusion, through the uncertainties of life, lord, I pray that the spirit of the living God will carry us today, that the glory, that the power, that the anointing of God, lord, that you will strengthen us, lord, wherever we are across the world. I pray for the peace of Christ and the promises of God and the salvation of families. Today, lord, you are the way, you are the truth, you are the life. And, lord, I ask you that we will make this a life application, that we will seek the Father's heart, we will hear the voice of God, that we will listen to the whisper of the scripture speaking loud and clear and through uncertain days, lord, we will speak the word of God over our lives. Lord, that we will speak.
Speaker 0:John 14, verse 6 aloud. Jesus is my way, he is my truth and my life. Lord, I call on you today, spirit of the living God, make a way where there seems to be no way. Open our hearts today. Help us to make good lifestyle decisions through the word of God. Help us to obey your word, because we need the truth, we need the word. We need the way because you are the way. There is no other way.
Speaker 0:God, we need the anointing, we need the spirit, we need the power, we need the glory. We need the fundamental truths of scripture. We need doctrine in our lives. Speaker 0:Lord, we thank you that Jesus Christ says that. Jesus says I am the way, the truth, the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. Lord, we come to you today, we surrender to you today and, lord, sometimes it's difficult to surrender, I don't know, and some days I'm not sure how to do it. But, lord, I just trust that you are showing us, showing me, how to surrender to the way, to the truth and to the life spirit of the living God. I pray for an anointing over my sisters and brothers today, for healing, for miracles, for love, for goodness, for mercy and your saving grace over all of our lives. May the spirit of the Lord bless you and carry you until tomorrow.
