Speaker 0:Let's get into this because we are living in a global crisis and we need an outpouring of the spirit of the living God. We're praying today for global mission. We're praying praying sorry for discipleship purpose, the great commission and god's calling. Let's get straight in without further ado. We are in the gospel of matthew 28, verses 19 to 20, and it says therefore god, make disciples of all nation, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you, and surely I will be with you always, to the very end of the age. Oh God, you are coming back, jesus, and I pray that we will go and make disciples of all nations. I pray that we will carry this mantle. I pray, father, that you have handed us the baton, lord, that we will hand that baton on the word of God. We're baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit. We're baptizing them as you told us to do, lord. We are taking the teachings and the truth and we are telling ourselves, firstly, and the world in front of us, we have to obey everything I have commanded you, and surely I will be with you always. I want to tell you now, through your tears, through your pain, god is with you and he is with you to the very end of this age, because the bible tells me, the bible tells me in matthew 28, in this prayer time, and surely I will always be with you to the very end of this age.
Speaker 0:Father, as we seek the Father's heart, lord, as we seek the purpose and the plan of God over our lives, lord, we thank you that you have called us to be Lord, god, you've called us to be disciples of Christ. You've called us to walk in your glory. You've called us, father, to seek the Father's heart. You've called us, lord, to walk in the rhythm of the Word of God and help us to walk in the rhythm of Scripture, lord. Help us, lord, today, through this devotional reflection time from Matthew 28, verses 19 and 20. Lord, help us to call and to make disciples of all nations.
Speaker 0:Spirit of the living God, we pray for clarity in our calling. We pray for boldness in witness. We pray for obedience in God's mission. Lord, I pray for all those that you are calling today, all those dear God that you are working in and through those dear God that are running away like Jonah. Lord, you have called and, lord, I pray, lord, as you walk behind them, as they try to run from their calling. Lord, we know what happened to Jonah.
Speaker 0:Spirit of the living God. Lord, get your work done, lord, use us as your instruments. Father, I pray for those that feel scared today, lord, that they're not quite sure of the clarity in their calling. I pray that you will give them boldness in the word. I pray, lord, that they and us, and me and them and all of us, will have obedience in the great commission. Lord, that we will find courage in mission, lord, that we will make disciples of all nations, that we will go out. We won't lift any flag of the world. We won't have a political drive, lord, that we won't have any political understanding and we will not partner with any area of politics, but we will walk with the cross of Calvary. Lord, help us to lift up the word of God and the cross. No flag, lord. I pray that we won't lift up no flag, but we will lift up the word of God. And as we walk in the word of God, the power of God is with us. Lord, help us to lay the flags down. Help us to lay the arrogance down. Help us to lay the arrogance down. Help us to lay the political drive down. Help us, lord, to lift up the word of god. Help us to go into all the world to make disciples of all nations.
Speaker 0:Lord, I pray for global mission. That today that there will be favor over lives. Today, I pray for guidance in god's plan. I pray for perseverance. Help us to persevere in our calling. Help us to keep walking strong. Lord, help us to make this scripture a life application.
Speaker 0:Lord, each day, help me to pray for Matthew 28, 19 and 20. Lord, I ask for God to revive, I ask God to reveal, I ask you, god, that we will be part of a global rise of the word of God. We pray for global mission today and, lord, let that mission field start in our workplace. Let us realize that we are missionaries at school, we are missionaries in our families, we are missionaries at work, at home, in life, wherever we are, we are your ambassadors. And that is our Jerusalem, right before our very eyes. Lord. Let us see, lord, that is our Jerusalem right before our very eyes. Lord, let us see Lord favor. Let us see power. Lord, have mercy on the town in which we live. Have mercy in the area of work.
Speaker 0:Spirit of the living God, let us realize that you are calling us to be missionaries in the territory that we're in right now. God, wherever we are, let us do a 360 degree turn and realize that we are missionaries right in the face of adversity. We ain't got to go all the way to the other side of the world, we ain't got to raise money from the church, because where we are, god, that is our mission field right in our workplace, right in our school, right in our culture, right in the place that we are. It is our mission. So, lord, let it firstly start with us as we tell the world around us about the love of Jesus. May the spirit of the living God carry you. May the fire of God continue to lead you wherever you are through these quick-fired prayers.
Speaker 0:If you're on the train, if you're on an aircraft, if you're in a car, if you're in a van, wherever you are today, that is your mission field. Wherever your feet are on, whatever you are looking at, whoever is in front of your eyes right now, god has placed you in that place, not by coincidence, not by your father or your mother's will, but because God wants you in that place and he wants you to make disciples of everyone in front of you and just share the love of God with them. Put your hand on them now and pray for them. If they won't allow that, just pray as you lock your eyes on that person right now. Pray for that situation. God has called you. God has called you to the mission field of life. God has called you to the mission field, and that mission field is right before you now. You don't need to leave the town, you don't need to leave the environment, because that is your Jerusalem and my Jerusalem is right here. The mission field is right before your eyes. May God bless you and carry you.
Speaker 0:My name is Reverend Ben Cooper. Thank you for staying with us today and, wherever you are, never give up. Realize that you are an evangelist, you are a preacher, you are a teacher and what do you mean, pastor ben? I had never got in a pulpit. Just let your light shine, because when you let your light shine, you're in the five-fold ministry, you know. May god bless you wherever you are today. That is your mission field. And smile and let the world know that I'm a born again, I'm braggadocious and I believe in the word of God. And I'm speaking to you, sister and brother, right now. Get out of that front door of life and tell the world about the greatest king the world has ever seen. Tell the world about Jesus Christ, the savior of the world. May God bless you and carry you until tomorrow.
