Speaker 0:But without further ado, let's get straight in. You know we are living in a time when we've got to be contenders of the faith. You know we've got to stand up for the gospel of hope. You know we've got to stand strong. So right now we're going to pray and we're going to read through Jude, chapter 1, verse 3. I feel compelled to write to you and to urge you to contend for your faith that the once the way we used to be entrusted to God's holy people. Spirit of the living God, help us to be contenders of the faith. Help us, lord, to understand that we haven't got a jump in the arena, we've just got to give, get spiritual boldness and strength in truth, in god's word. So, lord, I thank you that the battle belongs to you. But, lord, let let us be strong and bold enough to let the world see that we are contenders for the faith, that we believe from genesis to revelation and that the holy spirit is with us today. So, wherever we are, let us be contenders, lord. Let the world see that we are ambassadors, that we believe in the scriptureenders. Lord, let the world see that we are ambassadors, that we believe in the scripture, that we believe from Genesis to Revelation, that we believe that God's word is an absolute. So, as we stand firm, as we stand firm on faith, as we stand firm on the word of God, give us boldness like lions today, lord, let us hear the whisper of God in times of trouble. Lord, help us to stand upright, to stand strong and to be bold. In the name of Jesus. Let the world see that we are Jesus followers. Let families see that we are Jesus followers. Let the workplace, let the school, let the rhythm of life. Let them see that we are Jesus followers, that we are braggadocious, that we are filled to the full measure, that the living God is living in our lives.
Speaker 0:Lord, give us courage to stand up, lord, for our belief. Give us courage, lord, to put on the full armor of God. Give us courage to strength, lord. Give us that strength, lord, in temptation, when someone is goading, someone is trying to lead us off the wrong path. Give us boldness to witness the gospel of hope. Lord, help us to persevere in trials. Give us faith in uncertain days. Help us to be obedient to the word of God. Oh Jesus, come on, god. I pray for us today, lord, that we will wrestle with the word, and the word will give us that breakthrough and the word will shape us. Keep us on the potter's wheel. Spirit of the living God, send your fire, send your glory. Give us the resilience under pressure to hold our peace. Lord, when we're under pressure right now, lord, I pray for anyone under pressure at this moment that has just come out of the office, come out of school, come out of a relationship, coming out of church, coming out of any setting where they've been under the hammer of pressure.
Speaker 0:Give them the boldness to smile. Give them the boldness to smile. Give them the boldness to stand upright. Give them the boldness to say I'm walking for Jesus. No weapon forged against me shall prosper. I'm blessed and highly favored. You can bring words to me. You can do what you like.
Speaker 0:Be like David right now. Be like that David. Be like the shepherd boy that ran down to the Goliath and bring that word to the devil right now. Bring it to the giant of life. Bring it to the walls of Jericho. Be solid on the word of God. Never give up in your faith. Be like David and tell Goliath now you come against me with sword. You come against me with word. You come against me with javelin. You come against me with your fierceness. You come against me with your stature, but I come in the name. Come on, world, wherever you are. Come on, you're born again. Let's tell the giants to fall at the name of Jesus.
Speaker 0:Give us confidence, lord, to run down to the valley. Lord, we don't want to hang around with King Saul and the brothers up on the hillside. We want to run down to the Goliath. We want to pick up that stone, we want to put it in the sling and God, you are guiding that stone. Today, lord, the devil is a liar, lord, and we thank you that there is purity in our heart and our mind. Lord, we thank you that there is unity in the body of Christ. We stand bold and strong on the word of God and Father. Wherever Goliath is, you will find us. Wherever you find the valley, you will find us, because we are bold like lions. We're strong in the power of the word of God. When I am weak, then he is strong.
Speaker 0:Lord, I pray right now as we get boldness, as we get wise, lord, when challenges arise, we speak the word over our lives. We declare, declare this book, jude, chapter one, verse three. We declare this word, we make this a life application. I am convinced that the faith that I follow has been entrusted to me and the spirit of the living God is calling me. Lord, I thank you today for the book of Jude, chapter one, verse three. I declare I will not be taken out. I declare I will find boldness. I declare healing over my life. I declare that Jericho is falling. I declare that giants are falling. I declare healing in my bones. Fear goes, anxiety goes, and I speak the word and I pick up the sword of the spirit, the breastplate of righteousness, and I stand strong in the gospel of hope. Today, because my God lives, and because he lives, I can face tomorrow. May the spirit of the Lord be over you today until tomorrow.
