God, be with you as you bless us and as you pray for us. We walk with you. We walk with you. We're walking together. Even though I can't see you, we're together in spirit. That is what the Word of God says. We are jumping into the book of Proverbs, chapter 3, verses 5 through to 6. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, but in your ways, all your ways. Submit to him and he will make your path straight. Let's read that one more time, lord, let this word settle in my spirit today, lord, I trust in the Lord with all my heart and I'm not going to lean on my own understanding. Lord, in all of of my ways I'm going to submit to you and, lord, you will make my path straight. Lord, today you're making my path straight. Lord, you're helping me, lord, through the yo-yoing experience of life that we have. So today, lord, we trust in your guidance, we trust in your word, we trust in your presence.

Speaker 1:

Lord, we need wisdom in uncertain times as we live life, as we see things unfolding in our lives. Today, lord, we pray that the fire of God and the presence of the Holy Spirit, lord, will carry us. In Jesus' name. Lord, we need clarity in decisions. Today, lord, we need to surrender in uncertain times and we trust in your unfailing love. We surrender, lord. We want to come under the voice of God. We want to feel your presence. We want to know that our Redeemer lives and because he lives, we shall face tomorrow.

Speaker 1:

We need wisdom in confusion. We need courage in obedience. We need faith in leading Lord. Will you lead us? Lord? We need this faith today. We need to rise on wings as of eagles. Lord.

Speaker 1:

Discouragement, lord. We need this faith today. We need to rise on wings as of eagles, lord. Discouragement, lord, is not a choice. We are not choosing discouragement, we are choosing blessing. We are choosing the word.

Speaker 1:

So today, lord, I pray as we trust in the Lord. Lord, we trust in you. But help me to do that, lord, with all of my heart. Help me to lean into God today. Help me to trust in the Lord with all of my heart and lean not on my own understanding, father, I cannot go anymore on my own understanding. I cannot go in my way. I cannot go down that Frank Sinatra route. I've done it his way, lord. I don't want to do it my way. I want to do it God's way. I want to walk with the King. I want to walk with the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, spirit of the Living God. Lord, I want to do this, lord, I want to submit my life. I want to walk in holiness. Lord, I want to feel that my life is panned out perfectly because I'm listening to God. Lord, my life is perfect when I listen to the will of the Father. My life is perfect, lord, when I walk that narrow path. My life is perfect when I follow the word of God. But, lord, when I stray out of the word, when I leave the word, when I forget the word. Lord, when I don't take any notice of the word. Father, no wonder there's trials, no wonder there's tribulations, no wonder there's things, lord, that I make a mess of life, lord. But, father, I thank you that you clear up my mess, lord, that you clear up all things around us. So, lord, we trust in you today. Lord, we trust in your unfailing love. Lord, help us to trust in you in uncertainty. Help us to surrender to you today. Help me to surrender my heart, lord.

Speaker 1:

Lord, take my heart, take our hearts today. Take our hearts, lord, in the name of Jesus and wash it in the crimson tide of the blood of Jesus. Give us clarity in decisions. Give us wisdom in confusion, lord, in the confusion of life. Give us wisdom, lord. Give us courage to obey Lord. Help me to make this word, lord, my daily verse today. Let me help me, lord. Come, god, come on, jesus, lord, my daily verse today. Let me help me, lord, come, god, come on, jesus, lord. We trust Lord for your direction over our path today and we thank you, lord, as we make this a life application.

Speaker 1:

Lord, at this hour, wherever we are, lord, we pray together, we stand together and, lord, we thank you for Proverbs. Lord, we trust God to direct our path. So, wherever we are, lord, I pray. Lord, through the coughs, the splutters, through the tongue-tied way, I am Lord at this hour. I thank you that your word is moving, that you don't need me, lord, to deliver your word. It doesn't matter, god, how my voice is, it doesn't matter if I cough, because the spirit of the Lord is with the listeners today. So, father, bless them. So, father, we thank you that we have prayed through Proverbs 3, verse 5 to 6.

Speaker 1:

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways, submit to him and he will make your path straight. Your path is straight, sister and brother. Your life is good because you are in the plan of God and the spirit of the living God is over you. Trust in the Lord, no matter what goes on in your life. Trust in the Father's voice, trust in the word of God. The spirit of the Lord is over you. Do not allow anybody else to tell you anything different. Lean in to Jesus. We will catch you tomorrow, wherever you are today. Thank you for joining us for these quick-fired five-minute commute to prayer across the world. My name is Reverend Ben Cooper. I'm tongue-tied today, but the spirit of the living God is over us all. Until tomorrow, thank you.
