Speaker 0:I'm going to stop rambling and I'm going to jump into the prayer bit with you right now, in the name of Jesus. We're in the book of James, as I've said James, chapter 1, verse 5. If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all, who, without finding fault, and will give it to you. Lord, it is given. It is given in the name of Jesus. But right now, lord, father, we're weary, we're tired and we need help. Lord, as we search the face and the heart of God, lord, give us clarity when it feels uncertain. Give us stability when the waves feel wobbly. Lord, on this vessel that we are sailing on, lord, help us to find a safe place to land. In the name of Jesus, spirit of the Living God, we need you right now, lord. We need God's promise to give us wisdom generously.
Speaker 0:Lord, I need to be wise. Lord, sometimes my little brain makes the wrong decisions and, Lord, I need you to help me to be wise in daily life applications. Father, give me wisdom, give me strength, give me biblical insight so I know how to act through the everyday life situation. Lord, spirit of the living God, I pray today that you will give us wisdom. Lord, as we pray through, we need guidance and wisdom. We need wisdom in decisions. We need clarity in confusion.
Speaker 0:Lord, this comes up a lot, lord. I feel this in my spirit, lord, that I get a lot of fog when it comes, lord Jesus, to making decisions. Lord, I need clarity amongst confusion and stressful situations. I need guidance in uncertainty. I need to trust you more with my life. I need to surrender more and to lean into Jesus. But, lord, help me to trust in God's word and God's direction. Help me to wait in peace. Help me to wait patiently for the Lord, father in discouragement.
Speaker 0:Lord, I pray that we will find the power of the Holy Spirit. Help me to make good lifestyle choices according to the word of God. Give me courage, lord, to follow God's way because, lord, I'm tired of the crowd. I can't keep walking the way the world is walking. Lord, I can't keep being herded along by culture, by social media. I'm tired of social media. God, I'm tired of following the crowd. Lord, I'm going nowhere with social media. I'm going nowhere in the crowd.
Speaker 0:Lord, I've lost my purpose. I've lost my character in the crowd and in the WhatsApp group and in the rubbish that I get involved in. Lord, I need freedom in the name of Jesus. Lord, will you break the addiction of social media? Will you break the addiction of just watching nothing but Lord, social media? Lord, help us, lord, give us wisdom, help us to be strong in the name of just watching nothing but Lord, social media? Lord, help us, lord, give us wisdom, help us to be strong.
Speaker 0:In the name of Jesus, lord, I pray right now that you will help me to make a real, serious lifestyle choice through the word of God. Lord, I will pause and I will pray James 1.5, and I will ask God for wisdom and I will expect an answer from our God. I will expect an answer from my King, because my King is Jesus. My King is the savior of the world. My King is El Shaddai.
Speaker 0:Jehovah Jireh, jehovah Nissi, jehovah Shalom, jehovah Nissi. You are my healer, you are my banner, you are my rock, you are my shield, you are my guide, you are the potter, lord, you are the master. Lord, you got me in your hands. You got us in your hands. Lord, keep us on the potter's wheel, shape us, mold us into the vessels that we need to be. Spirit of the living God. As we pray through the book of James, lord, we need anointing today, we need power today, we need stability. Today, lord, I lack wisdom and I need more. So, lord, my prayer is for each and every one of us. Lord, if we lack wisdom, according to James, chapter one, verse five, if we lack wisdom, we should ask God, who gives generously to all those without finding fault, and it will be given to you. Let's ask God, father, in this close, give me wisdom. That simple God. That is it. Jesus. Give me wisdom in Jesus' name. Amen. Wherever you are today, thank you for joining me here.
