Speaker 0:In Jeremiah 29, verse 11, for I know the plans that I have for you, declares the Lord Plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans to give you hope and a future Spirit of the living God. We need hope and we need a future Because, lord, when we look across certain areas of culture and generations, lord, they have no hope and they have no future. Lord, they need the power of God in their lives. We need the power of God in our lives, need the power of God in their lives. We need the power of God in our lives, lord. You tell us, for I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord.
Speaker 0:Right now, lord, we need a blueprint, we need a plan, lord, we need to know the plan because, lord, we are just bouncing along this world, lord, and sorry, lord, that we have followed the crowd. I pray, lord, that we will not follow the crowd, but we will know the plans that God has for us, that we will find ourselves as that individual, that identity as a brother and sister in Christ, lord, that we will find our true identity through the word of God. So, lord, you have a plan for us as an individual, not as a group, not as a ministry, not as a religious order, not as a charity. Lord, you have a plan for every one of us as an individual and I pray that we will find that purpose. In the name of Jesus. Lord, we are searching you, we are looking for you.
Speaker 0:We need hope, purpose and we need to understand the future for our lives. Lord, we need strength. Today, we've got to trust in your promises. Lord, when life feels uncertain, when the wave, lord hits the boat, lord, and we are sailing on the sea of life and, lord, it feels tiring. Lord, to keep the rudder going, holy Spirit, lord. We thank you for Jeremiah 29,. Keep the rudder going, holy Spirit, lord. We thank you for Jeremiah 29, 11. Lord, we thank you that this scripture really hits us today. We thank you for the faith of God in the plans. We thank you for courage in the face of the unknown and hope in every season.
Speaker 0:I want to hear the whisper of God. I want to hear the whisper of the word. I want to feel your presence, lord. Through this devotional time, we declare the glory of God. And right now, lord, no matter what tomorrow holds, god's plans are good, there is a purpose and they are full of hope. So, father, we come to you right now. We are hopeful and we know that there is a purpose for our life.
Speaker 0:But, lord, help us to leave the culture, help us to leave the work setting, help us to leave the crowd, the social media groups. Help us, lord, to leave the WhatsApp groups. And what I mean by that, sister and brother, is to stand alone, but not alone, but in the full power of the word. Don't get caught, don't get captured by the crowd of social media, don't get crowded out by your culture, don't allow certain areas of society to control you. You know the spirit of the Lord is over you and let's pray for direction from God. Lord, I pray for direction today as we make decisions. We pray for courage in uncertain times. We pray for hope in your plans.
Speaker 0:Today, we hope in despair. There is hope in despair in the name of Jesus, and we thank you for strength in waiting. Lord, we thank you that there is peace in this transition that we are in right now. Help us to persevere in our calling. Lord, the joy of God's promise is over our lives. Lord, we trust in your calling. Lord, the joy of God's promise is over our lives. Lord, we trust in your timing. Lord, your personal way for our lives is perfect. Your plan is perfect, lord, our personal lives are wrapped up in your hands. But, lord, give us a purpose. Lord, help us to make this scripture a life application. Lord, somewhere, lord, visible. Lord, make this clear to our hearts today. Lord, each time we feel that fear is rising, lord, we pray that the word will saturate the fear, that we will know the plans and we will speak this over our lives, in the name of Jesus. So, father, we thank you for the scripture today. The scripture is power, the scripture is life, and we thank you for Jeremiah 29, verse 11. For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord plans to give you a hope and a future, not to harm you in any way. The spirit of the living God is over you today. You know, as we record this, live right out of the barrel of truth, out of this studio, with the bells, with the whistles, with the coughs, with the splutters, with the tongue ties, it doesn't matter what it sounds like, because the spirit of the Lord is over you. Hold on to Jeremiah 29, 11. The fire of God is in your being, father, we thank you for this time together. Carry us through the trials, lord. We thank you that there is hope and there is purpose and there is a future for our lives, because you tell us in Jesus name. We thank you, wherever you are today, for joining me. My name is Reverend Ben Cooper. May the Lord keep you and bless you until tomorrow.
