Speaker 1:

We're jumping straight in to the book of Philippians 4, verses 6 and 7. This is a go-to scripture. If you are in trouble, this is a go-to scripture. We're going to pray this through and we're going to get breakthrough. Do you want breakthrough? I want breakthrough. Do you going to get breakthrough? Do you want breakthrough? I want breakthrough. Do you need breakthrough? Yes, I need and I want breakthrough.

Speaker 1:

God, spirit of the living god. Philippians 4, verses 6 and 7 do not be anxious about anything, but the peace of god, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your mind through christ jesus. Lord, I'm tired of being anxious, lord, we're tired of being weary. So, lord, we pray today, through this daily prayer time, that we will overcome anxiety because the King is living in our hearts. And, lord, we long. We long for peace, lord, and we pray for those that are having sleepiness nights. And we pray, lord, for calm in daily stressful living situations. We pray Father as we pray this through this daily Christian prayer devotional time, as we pray this, through this daily Christian prayer devotional time, as we gather around the word Father, send the fire of God. Send the fire of God to burn in our belly. Send the fire of God to burn over our bones.

Speaker 1:

Lord, we walk in anointing, we walk in power. Lord, the devil is a liar and we're not going to give anxiety a foothold. We're not going to give fear a foothold, lord. We claim our nights back in sleeping. Lord, we claim it back. We're not going to let the devil keep us up. Lord, we're going to sleep and we're going to rest well.

Speaker 1:

In the name of Jesus, father, we thank you that we got peace in the area in which we sleep. Father, give us a good rest. In the name of Jesus, father, we thank you for calmness in stress. We thank you for courage in fear. Lord, help us to trust in God's presence. Lord, to walk in the refining word of God.

Speaker 1:

Lord, I pray for the brothers and sisters around the world that the fire of the Holy Spirit will not just sit on them, as it did in the book of Acts, but it will fill them to the full measure of thy glory. Lord, we need through you, through the power of the word, lord, we need you to break this cycle of worry. We need to break this cycle of 50-50 thinking. We need to break this cycle of anxiety. Lord, we cannot live our lives anymore by anxiety. Lord, we need freedom from worry. So, lord, give us freedom from the cycle, lord, of stress, worry, anxiety. Lord, we need freedom from worry. So, lord, give us freedom from the cycle, lord, of stress, worry, anxiety. Let there be healing of anxious thoughts right now, lord, give us clarity in confusion. Lord, clarity, biblical wisdom in confusion. Lord, we need your assurance of God's promises Because, lord, I'm a human being and you are the God above all gods.

Speaker 1:

And Lord, sometimes I get weary, sometimes, lord, I let you into a secret, but you notice, my bones ache. Sometimes, lord, the overwhelming life that we live becomes so powerful and so strong. Lord, all we want to do, lord, is stay under the duvet. All we want to do is stay indoors. Lord, all we want to do is just not face anybody. But, lord, all we want to do, lord, is stay under the duvet. All we want to do is stay indoors, lord, all we want to do is just not face anybody. But, lord, help us. Help us, god. Break the relentlessness, lord, of the monotony of the humdrum of life. We want to live by the Spirit. We're not going to live by fear.

Speaker 1:

So, lord, we pray that we dear God as we go through certain situations, when anxiety rises, we will pause and pray Philippians 4, 6 and 7 aloud. We will shout this aloud over our lives Let your peace guard our hearts and mind. In the name of Jesus, father, we ask you now, lord, we call you down into our arena. We get bold like Jacob. Now, right now, lord and Father, we pray through Philippians 4, verses 6 and 7. Do not be anxious about anything, but in peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds.

Speaker 1:

In Christ Jesus, father, I pray for the listeners today. I pray that the fire of God will sit upon them, not just sit over them, but it will burn in their innermost being. They will feel the power of the Holy Spirit, that they will rise and anxiety will break at the name of Jesus. Fear will go, lord, and they will find freedom in the Holy Word of God. Father, we thank you for every one of us today, from the studio to across the world, wherever we are Spirit of the living God, carry us in the greatest name in heaven and earth. In the name of Jesus, may the Lord bless you wherever you are and keep you. We'll see you tomorrow.
