Speaker 1:

We are staying in the gospel of matthew, chapter 11, verse 29. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, and I will give you rest for your soul. Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray for those that are going through education at this moment in time, those that are going through adult learning, for the children, for those that are doing extra biblical knowledge. Lord, those are at college, those are at university, those that are studying, lord, god for their work, for their life, those that are being put under the hammer that they've got to learn. We pray, father, that education, lord, will help us. But, lord, we thank you that education has nothing to do with salvation. But today, lord, we pray for peace in exams, strength in stress, calmness, focus. Will you give us wisdom and rest for students? Today we pray that students will find rest in the name of Jesus, lord, and they will take up the hand of God, that they will feel the power of the Holy Spirit, lord. So we pray today for stress with those that are walking in exams, that have got deadlines, that are being overwhelmed with responsibilities. Lord, as we search you as we look for you. Give us focus and wisdom in the classroom. We pray for those, dear God, that have to retrain at work, that those that are going to go through college and education, lord for their work career. Lord, we pray that they won't suffer with stress and fear and worry. But, lord, we pray right now that today's hour, this moment, is devoted, dear God, to Matthew 11, 29.

Speaker 1:

For students and workers and anybody facing heavy stress at this moment in time, lord, will you remind us. Lord, give us calm in the exam experience. Lord, give us wisdom how and when we study. Help us to focus, lord, when we're under pressure. Lord, when the world is screaming, help us to focus on the pressure. In the name of Jesus, lord, give us peace for these deadlines that we've got. Father, there are dates in our lives and we've got deadlines that we've got to hit. Lord, and it's scary.

Speaker 1:

We pray for students. We pray, father, for those that are getting extra learning. Lord, adult education, everything to do with work. We pray for those that have got pressure on their shoulder at work where they've got to hit certain criterias, otherwise their job is at stake. Spirit of the living, god, take that pressure off them now, lord, we trust in you. Lord, we pray that you will give us rest once we're in long hours. We pray, lord, as we trust in God's help. Lord, give us courage in challenges as we study, as we read. We pray for those, dear God, that are suffering with mental health because of study. We pray for those that have got dyscalculia. We pray for those, dear God, that have got dyslexia, those with autism, those with health issues that struggle learning. We pray right now, lord, that we will not allow that area of our life to stop us progressing, in the name of Jesus, because the spirit of the Lord is open in our mind. So, lord, open the mind of all those that are studying, all those that are learning, for those that are going back into college, in life, lord, I pray that the spirit of the living God will give us clarity in decisions that you will give us strength to endure.

Speaker 1:

We pray for peace over students today, but, lord, help us to make this a life application. Lord, before we study for an exam, help us to read Matthew 11, 29. We pray for peace in the exam situation, we pray for focus and we pray for rest for our souls. We're going to trust in you as we start to do this exam, as we start to get learned, as we start to get educated. Father, we pray that the spirit of the living God will carry us today. Bless all the students, bless everybody around the world. And Lord, whatever the situation is, we are not under pressure because the spirit of the living God is over us.

Speaker 1:

But, father, we thank you for the word of God today. We thank you that it says in Matthew 11, 29, take my yoke upon you and learn from me and you will find rest for your souls, find rest in God. He will get you the result that you need. Trust in him, in your experience and in your exam time. Wherever you are, don't let the enemy, don't let doubt, don't let self-worth, don't let none of that beat you. You will get what you need because god is with you. Thank you for joining us today on this daily prayer podcast, wherever you are across the world. Thank you, my name is reverend ben cooper. Until tomorrow, may the lord bless you and keep you and keep you and keep you strong. Keep studying.
