thank you for joining me today on a daily christian prayer podcast with myself. Reverend ben cooper recorded live here in london, england. This is our five minute time of prayer, renewal, strength and encouragement in the word of god. May the spirit of the living god carry you today, wherever you are, as we gather for these quick-fired prayer sessions. Oh, may god strengthen you. Brother and sister, can you click the show notes and if you could just read those show notes and just read the prayers, uh, the areas of the 10 prayers, the bullet points that I'll put up there, can you please read those areas because I really believe that they will bless you. I know we're busy, I know we're in the quick-fired five minutes and sometimes we don't get time to read the show notes. But also in the show notes, can you click that? Buy me a coffee, just click that. Three pound a month, in the name of Jesus. Leave us a review, but without further ado.
Speaker 0:Do you need peace? Do you need peace in anxiety? The Spirit of the Lord is over you and we are in Matthew 11, verse 29,. And this is what it it says take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart and you will find rest for your souls. Let's read that again, lord. Help us to understand this. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. Today, lord, I need, I need rest. Today, lord, I need the Spirit of the Living God over me.
Speaker 0:Lord, we're praying for anxiety across the world. We're praying for these anxious thoughts that we may have. That we will overcome anxiety, lord, father, we pray that you will not delay, that you will come with your power, your glory, your mercy, spirit of the Living God. We pray for such an outpouring tonight, today, wherever we are, that the love of God will be so strong over each and every one of us that we will know that our Redeemer lives and because he lives, we can face tomorrow. So, lord, we pray for calm in fear today. We pray for courage in worry. Today. We pray for strength in uncertain hours and moments in which we live, lord. Also, we pray, lord, for sleepless nights. Lord, help us to sleep. Lord, will you help us to sleep in the name of Jesus, father, through these quick-fired five minutes, lord, help us to sleep and find rest. Our bones are tired. Our fingers are aching, lord. Our minds are exhausted. I pray for those that feel that they've hit exhaustion. That you will carry them. In the name of Jesus, as we trust in God's care. Today, lord, as we lean into the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, I thank you, there is freedom from anxiety. In the name of Jesus.
Speaker 0:Lord, break these anxious cycles in our lives. Break this anxious thought. Lord, break all these anxieties, all these doubts, all these fear. Father, will you give us stressful day release, lord? Give us release from stressful days, father.
Speaker 0:We need, lord, to be free from stress. Lord, in the season of stressfulness, lord, can you break that? Today, lord, can you bring your holy glory, father, we need clarity, lord, in the confusion of life, glory, father, we need clarity, lord, in the confusion of life, we need clarity. In this world in which we live, father, we need understanding and reasoning. We need your glory, your power, your mercy. Today, lord, let this be the day, let this be the day that the Lord has made. I shall rejoice and be glad, but today I need healing from anxious thoughts, lord. I need faith in God's promises. Lord, I want to make this a life application. Lord, through this prayer time. I come to you, lord, when worry arises. Help me to stop and to breathe and to speak.
Speaker 0:Matthew 11, 29. Lord, let me picture Jesus lifting up the burden from your shoulders. Let me picture this today that God is lifting this weight from my shoulders. He's lifting the yoke, he's lifting it up. Lord, he's given me freedom. Give me freedom today, lord, I thank you that there is power in your word, but, lord, I need freedom. And Lord, you invite us, Lord, to learn from your gentleness, from your humility. Lord, you're calling us, lord, into salvation, but today, but today, lord, we pray for anxiety that it will be broken, that it will go.
Speaker 0:At the name of Jesus, we long for your love, we long for your mercy, we long for your goodness, we long for your favor, we long for your strength, spirit of the living God, I pray, lord, that you will break the monotony of life. Lord, sometimes can I say this Lord, it feels so boring, lord, it feels just this drumbeat. I feel like a robot. I can't live like a robot.
Speaker 0:God, I want to live in freedom, I want to live in the joy of the Lord. I don't want to be a slave, dear God to the world, I don't want to be a slave to my culture, to the ministry, to the church, to religion. Lord, I want to be free, lord, we want to be free from worry, we want to be free from doubt, free from anxiety. We need God's peace and calm and trust and courage and rest in the Lord. Jesus Christ. Father, we thank you that your word is power.
Speaker 0:But, lord, free us up tonight, free us up this morning. And in the middle of the day, the middle of the night, lord, I pray that you will take these night tremors away. You tell us to take up the yoke of thyself and learn from you. Help me to learn from the word of God, help me to learn from my king, help me to learn from the scriptures. That I will be free from anxiety, I will be free from stress, lord, you tell me, for you are gentle and humble in heart, and I will find rest for my soul.
Speaker 0:Today's prayer, god, is that all of us find rest for our souls, that we find peace in the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, spirit of the living God. I pray for my brothers and sisters, the listeners across the world, that they will find rest in the Holy Spirit across the world that they will find rest in the Holy Spirit. They will feel the power of God in their lives. Bless them from the crown of their head to the sole of their feet, amen. Thank you for joining me today. My name is Reverend Ben Cooper. May the Lord bless you and keep you until tomorrow.
