Speaker 0:Now we are going to the book of Matthew, chapter 11, verses 28 to 30. We're coming back to this text again. It is popping, it is rising, it is a global area for prayer and it is rest for the weary. Do you need rest? We need rest. So, wherever you are, I pray that you will find rest, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, and the scripture that we're in is Matthew 11, 28. Come to me, all of you that are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Spirit of the living God. I pray tonight, I pray this morning, at this hour, that the spirit of the living God will give us rest, that we will find a place to rest our hearts of the living God will give us rest, that we will find a place to rest our hearts, our minds, our bodies, our souls, as we come to you on this glorious day, as a day breaks, as the evening breaks, as the midday breaks.
Speaker 0:Spirit of the living God. We pray, lord, for a super charge. Today, we pray that the Holy Spirit, lord, you tell us come to me, lord, we walk to you. We walk to you, father, we walk to the word, we walk to the scripture, we walk to you in prayer. Spirit of the living god, we pray for such an outpouring of your love, your mercy, your goodness, over each and every one of us. Lord, we pray in tonight as brothers and sisters, as we lock shields of faith.
Speaker 0:Come, holy spirit, lord, you call us to come to you and right now, lord, we are weary. Lord, I bring my sisters and brothers that are weary and, lord, I bring them in prayer and I stand before you, lord, and I cross that bridge and I say, lord, will you heal them today, will you carry them today with the burdens and the worries and the fears of life? Father, I thank you, lord. You're calling all of us who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest Tonight, lord, I need rest At this moment. I need rest this morning. I need rest In the middle of the day.
Speaker 0:Lord, we need rest and we realize, lord, the only place we're going to find it from exhaustion is in you. So, father, we pray for those that are exhausted and those that are weary and those that need rest. So today, lord, wherever we are, father, let the love of God and the power of the Holy Spirit. Lord, we are longing for peace, we're longing to find rest and stress, to go in the name of Jesus, we're looking for freedom. Lord, your invitation to the weary, lord, we thank you for the Gospel of Matthew, chapter 11, verse 28. Lord, you invite us.
Speaker 0:Lord, all of us that are weary, we come to you, all of us that need rest from exhaustion and worry and fear and doubt, lord, we are looking for a place of peace. We need peace in stress. We need renewal, lord, for our tired hearts, our minds, our bodies, our souls. And we come to you this prayer hour, we come to this moment, these quick-fired prayers, and we say Spirit of the living God, will you renew us from exhaustion? If anyone is feeling that they are exhausted, lord, we pray that you, dear God, will give them life. Lord, that you will breathe life into their bones, their bodies.
Speaker 0:Lord, we pray for peace in this daily area of our life. Lord, we pray that peace will abound through daily stresses that comes our way. Will you give us strength to keep going? Oh God, give us strength to keep going. In the name of Jesus. We need rest in Christ's presence today and wherever we are.
Speaker 0:Lord, we find joy today. Help us to find joy in difficult seasons. Help us to find calm under pressure. Help us to surrender our burdens, surrendering to you, god, giving everything over to our King, the Savior of the world, jesus Christ. We come to you right now, spirit of the living God. We want assurance today. We want assurance. God, oh Lord, you're telling us to come to you, all of us that are weary and heavily laden and you will give us rest. We need rest for our spirits. So today, lord, help us and give us freedom from worry, refreshment for our souls, lord. Help us to make this, father, a life application.
Speaker 0:Lord, we want to hear the whispering words of Jesus come to me and I will give you rest, lord. We want to hear that invitation to the weariness, we want to hear that invitation from the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. So, father, will you strengthen us today. Lord, you tell us that you will give us rest for the weary. Come, holy Spirit, lord. We need you today. Come to me, all of you that are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
Speaker 0:Father, we thank you for the gospel of Matthew, 11, verse 28. Lord, we need to come to you, we need to find rest in you, we need to find hope in you, lord. So we come to you, lord, fully loaded, fully bagged up with everything, lord suitcases, rucksacks, lord and we need rest tonight, lord, we need stability. So, father, will you bless my brothers and sisters on the other side of the world, wherever they are at this hour. Let the spirit of the living God be with them today. Thank you for joining me today.
