thank you for joining me today on our daily christian prayer podcast with myself, reverend ben cooper, recorded here live in london, england. This is our time where we gather. I pray for you, you pray for me, as we lock shields of faith, as we stand tall, as we stand strong in the armor of god. This is this five minute where we gather together for peace, for hope, for unity on the other side of the world. Yes, I can't see you, but, brother and sister, never give up. The spirit of the Lord is over you. If you can consider supporting this ministry as I always say, this is the listener supported ministry just by three pound a month on. Buy me a coffee. That would be absolutely amazing. This prayer ministry, this radio ministry, rb christian radio. May the spirit of god carry you today. I don't know about you. Do you need peace today? Let's dive straight in without further ado. We are in philippians 4, verses 6 and 7. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, present your request to God, and the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds. In Christ Jesus, father, I need peace beyond understanding today, lord, we need to be able to overcome anxiety today, lord, at work, at home, in at home, in relationships, in school, in church, in ministry, in life, lord, we need the power of God and we speak, lord, to our heavenly Father today, and we thank you for the book of Philippians, 4, verse 6 and 7. Lord, this anxiety keeps rising, lord, this unfamiliarness of life, lord, we don't like it. Lord, we don't like it. It's not right, lord, it's not true. Spirit of the living God, we pray today that we won't be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, we present everything.
Speaker 1:Lord, I bring my suitcase of life to you today, lord. I bring my suitcase of worry, lord, and also I've got a rucksack on my back filled with fear. Lord, I've got a suitcase in my right hand that's loaded with life issues and I bring it to the cross. Lord, on my back I'm weighed down with anxiety, worry, fear, doubt. Lord, the rucksack, just, lord, the weight of being fearful and being scared about life. Lord, take this rucksack from me, lord. To my left hand I have another bag, lord, that is just absolutely enormous, just filled up with junk from history. Lord, I don't want to be anxious about my history. Lord, I need my history removed. So, lord, will you open my hands today? Lord, will you get that pair of scissors and cut the strap of the rucksack so that falls off my back? So, fear, doubt, worry, lord, anxiousness, lord, everything falls off of my back. Lord, I feel that the weight of the world, lord, makes us lean forward and we are hunched over with the pressure of life. And, lord, these suitcases that we're carrying around with us, strip it back.
Speaker 1:God, I need peace, we need peace, but, father, we thank you that peace, lord, is beyond our human understanding. But right now, Lord, we walk in thy ways. We walk today. And, lord, if we're struggling with anxiety and we're searching for peace, lord, we pray this daily prayer. Father, give us our daily bread.
Speaker 1:Lord, bring calmness and reassurance to all of our hearts today. Strengthen us today wherever we are. Father, we thank you for God's powerful, powerful message through the word of God. And as we pray today, we pray for peace over anxiety. Lord, we thank you for faith. It is replacing fear in the greatest name in heaven and earth. And, lord, we thank you for gratitude in hardship. We thank you, lord, for this hard toil, because all is well, all is well. Father, we thank you that we're able to trust in God's provision. My God shall supply all my needs according to thy riches in glory. The spirit of the Lord is over you today, wherever you are. Do not give up. There is power in you. Today, there is anointing over your life, father.
Speaker 1:I pray for calm in stressful situations, lord, as we go into stressful situations. Lord, I pray for peace. We speak peace over our lives. We thank you that hope is within us today. Lord, we pray that you will renew our confidence in Christ.
Speaker 1:Today, lord, we need emotional healing. Father. Wow, god, I need healing today. My history needs to go. My present dear God is just rumbling around. Spirit of the living God, we need clear direction. Lord, we are making decisions in fear and we are making quick responses rather than waiting on our Lord. Help us to have courage in uncertain times.
Speaker 1:I pray today for God's peace daily. Lord, we need God's peace daily, through the struggles and the complicated way that life is. We need the hand of God and Lord. As we pray through the book of Philippians 4, verses 6 through to 7, we thank you that the good book tells us do not be anxious about anything, but in prayer and through supplication and every situation with thanksgiving, present your request to God, and the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus, father. Guard our hearts and our minds, lord. We thank you that the rucksack is gone, the suitcases are gone and, father, we walk in faith.
Speaker 1:Today, I pray for a blessing on the sisters. I pray for a blessing on the brothers. I pray for all humanity today that listens to my voice, that they will feel the love of God and the freedom through the power of the Holy Spirit. Anoint us afresh today. Carry us, lord. Thank you that we are equipped for this hour. Spirit of the living God, refresh us in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen. Thank you for joining me today. My name's Reverend Ben Cooper. May the Lord bless you and keep you until tomorrow.
