Prayer for Healing from Sickness and Protection Jeremiah 30:17 – @84 Daily Christian Prayer Podcast
Prayer for Healing from Sickness and Protection | Jeremiah 30:17 – Daily Christian Prayer Podcast
📖 Jeremiah 30:17 (NIV) – “But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds, declares the Lord.”
Where do we find strength when health crises strike and fear rises like a storm? Illness, surgery, and medical uncertainty can overwhelm even the strongest faith. In this powerful episode of the Daily Christian Prayer Podcast, Reverend Ben Cooper—speaking from London, England to believers across the globe—leads a focused prayer for healing, restoration, and divine protection.
This five-minute prayer is not just about physical recovery; it addresses the deeper wounds of the heart, the anxieties of the mind, and the exhaustion of the spirit. Reverend Ben boldly prays over those awaiting test results, battling disease, recovering from surgery, or supporting loved ones through hospital stays. He lifts up families affected by global pandemics, children facing health struggles, and those in hospice care, declaring that Jehovah Rapha—the Lord who heals—has the final word, not sickness or fear.
The devotional takes listeners on a journey of faith that acknowledges the reality of sickness yet clings to God’s unshakable promises. We affirm together that healing is holistic—body, mind, and soul—and we call on Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, to release divine restoration. From respiratory illness to broken bones, from mental trauma to emotional pain, God’s Word promises that He restores and heals.
This prayer is global in vision and deeply personal in impact. Whether you are listening in London, Sydney, New York, Lagos, or Singapore, you are invited into a united community of believers who cry out together for healing and strength. The promise of Jeremiah 30:17 becomes a declaration over your life: “The Lord will restore health and heal wounds.”

Speaker 0:Now, without further ado, let's get straight into prayer this morning, this afternoon or this evening. And the title of prayer today is we are prying for protection and healing during a health crisis. Father, in the name of Jesus, lord, we ask you, father, for healing around the globe. Today, father, we pray as we come to Jeremiah, chapter 30, verse 17. Lord, but you tell us that you will restore us to health and Lord, you will heal our wounds, declares the Lord. So, father, will you restore us? Today, lord, we need healing.
Speaker 0:Lord, we're frightened when we look across the world at different diseases and different areas of life that are coming. Plagues, lord, as the Bible says, lord, in the last days there'll be wars, rumors of wars, there'll be pestilence that stalk around. Father, we're frightened, lord, of plagues. We're frightened, father, god, of man-made situations coming to our front door of our lives. So, father, we pray, lord, for healing from sickness and diseases. At the name of Jesus, we pray that you'll protect us from illnesses. Father, we pray for healing after surgery today For all those that are having surgery, for all those that are going through therapy, for all those that are under dear God, the doctors, the nurses, the healthcare system, for those that are going to the hospital today to get results. We pray for miracles today. We pray for protection from diseases, fear and worry. Lord, we thank you that we are healed, that it is by your stripes we're healed. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, but, lord, according to your word this is your word, god, according to your word, jeremiah 30, verse 17,. But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds, declares the Lord. Father, I need healing, lord, these wounds, lord, I might not have any wounds on thelares. The Lord, father, I need healing, lord, these wounds, lord, I might not have any wounds on the physical outside of my body, but, lord, my heart, lord, has been wounded. So, lord, also, we just don't pray for sickness and diseases today, lord, and illnesses and surgeries.
Speaker 0:We pray for recovery. We pray, dear God, for recovery through trauma and life experiences. Today that we will be healed. And, lord, there is healing in the name of Jesus Christ. So, lord, give us strength during the trouble and the fear of going to hospital. Lord, will you remove the fear, lord, and give people strength today, those that have got to go to hospital for surgery and different areas? Father, god of operations, we pray for those, father, that have got families and those that are going to hospices as well. We pray for those that are in the end-of-life care. We pray for those that are in palliative care. We pray, father, that there will be miracles around the bed today, lord, that there will be healing.
Speaker 0:Lord, we pray for healing right now. We believe in miracles. We believe, lord, that you raise the dead. Right now, we believe in miracles. We believe, lord, that you raise the dead. We believe, lord, that the lame shall walk. We believe that the blind shall see. We believe that the deaf shall hear. We believe. So, lord, we pick up our mat today and we walk in healing.
Speaker 0:We walk strong right now, in the glorious name of Jesus, father, we also pray for that tender word, that word pandemic, lord, that word, that is quite a scary word, lord. We pray, father, for any pandemics, that they will not come near our tent. In the name of Jesus, that it will not come near our home. That any pandemics, lord, any diseases, will not come near us. We pray for those, lord, that have got coughs and colds and still going through the time of COVID and all that sort of stuff pneumonia, lung diseases. Father. We pray for respiratory areas, lord, that they will be healed. We pray, father, for eyesight. We pray for bones. Today, we pray, lord, for physical healing.
Speaker 0:Spirit of the living God. We pray, father, for divine restoration in our body. Lord, we need divine restoration. Spirit of the living God, we believe in healing, we believe in the power of the word, we believe in our God. We believe that you are the healer, you are Jehovah Jireh, jehovah Nissi, right now, heal the sick, lord, protect us from diseases.
Speaker 0:We pray for those that may have a disease, lord, that have a life-limiting illness, lord, that they will be healed, that they will be free. In the mighty name of Jesus, father, let the glory of God rest on us today. But, lord, we pray for healing and well-being in the name of Jesus. Protect us, lord, from all the things that are happening around the world. Father, give us strength to our bones today. Lord, give us strength to our bones. Lord, help us to recover. Help us, dear God, for those that are at hospital and as we've been praying, lord, we need God's healing touch today. So, wherever the sisters and the brothers are, wherever anyone is listening to this, whatever and however they're listening to this Lord, I pray through this prayer time that we will realize that Jeremiah 30, verse 17,. But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds, declares the Lord Be healed in the name of Jesus. Thank you for joining me today. May the Lord bless you and keep you. See you tomorrow on our daily Christian prayer podcast. Until tomorrow.
