Speaker 1:Today's title is Healing and Brokenness. You know we're coming from the book of Psalms 34, verse 18. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Spirit of the living God, we pray for healingness in brokenness. So, lord, we pray for every one of us that feels broken, every one of us that feels torn apart by the world. We pray for healing, emotional healing and restoration. We pray, father, right now, for this emotion that we live in, this skin that we walk in, this physical skin that we're in. Lord, this earth suit this body. We pray today for the brokenness of life. We pray, father, god, for all those that are broken-hearted. We pray for the broken-hearted across the world that they will know Jesus Christ as their Redeemer, as their Restorer. So, father, we thank you that we are restored, that we are blessed and highly favored. So today, lord, through this prayer time, lord, I thank you that you are saving those who are crushed in spirit. So those, father, that feel broken, and for those that feel crushed in spirit, the power of God is over you and I pray for healing today for your heart. Today, that your heart will be restored, your heart will find that place of peace. Through the trauma, through the issues of life, maybe what you've gone through trauma, trauma in your life, heartbreak, relationships, family loss, whatever it is we pray today that God will heal you, because God is close to the broken hearted. So, father, I thank you that you are close to those that have a broken heart today, those that feel crushed, those that feel down, those that feel ostracized and set aside, those that feel lonely, those that feel crushed, those that feel down, those that feel ostracized and set aside, those that feel lonely, those that feel just depressed and weary. Lord, you're close to the brokenhearted.
Speaker 1:So today, lord, the prayer is very simple lord, we pray for healing. Healing for brokenness, healing for tenderness, healing over fear, fear. Come, holy Spirit, will you restore our hearts and our minds, and our bodies and our souls? Lord, we pray for healing in that broken spirit, for those that feel broken right deep within the heart of their life. Lord, we pray for the healing of past wounds to go. In the name of Jesus, we pray that God will heal broken relationships, depression and fear and sadness.
Speaker 1:Today, lord, father, the prayer is enormous today, lord. It is so big, it is so vast, it is so wide. Holy Spirit, we pray, lord, for those that are crushed in spirit today, those that feel crushed and feel broken and feel just pushed down in society and life. Those that feel that their family is just overlooking them, those in the workplace where their colleagues are just pushing them aside, those that feel very lonely, those at school, those that are on social media that just can't seem to connect with the world. Father, I pray that we won't put our weight in work, we won't put our weight in family, we won't put our weight on social media, because we've got to put everything we've got in family. We won't put our weight on social media, because we got to put everything we got in Jesus. So today, lord, I thank you for family. I thank you for work, I thank you for life, but today, lord, I'm not going to allow the world around me to keep breaking me and keep tearing me down. Lord, I pray today that you will give me a new vision and a new dream, lord, that I will be restored from this brokenness, that I will be restored from this issue. Lord, we pray for all those that have got trauma going on now, all those that have got serious trauma going on, all those that are going through abuse, all those that are going through a breakdown, all those that are going through divorce, all those that are going through family trauma and loss.
Speaker 1:Spirit of the Living God, we pray for those that feel crushed in the Spirit today. That they won't feel crushed in the spirit, but they will find the joy of the Lord, and the joy of the Lord will be their strength. So today, lord, we are praying for emotional healing and restoration. We're praying, father, for heartbreak to be restored. Lord, knit our heart back together, lord. Rebuild our heart, rebuild our lives back.
Speaker 1:Spirit of the living God, we're not going to live in trauma. We're not going to live in pain. We're not going to live in the past. We're going to live in right now. We're going to live in faith because the God that we serve is a great God. You are the King of kings and the Lord of lords. And today, jesus, this is the day that the Lord has made and Lord, we will not be depressed and we're not going to be sad, because today, this is the breakthrough point. This is the breakthrough point because today is healing from brokenness. We thank you for Psalms 34, verse 18. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Thank you for joining me today. Name is reverend ben cooper. Have you been listening to this daily podcast, recorded live here in london, england?
