Daily Christian Prayer Podcast @79 – Prayer for Strength in Hard Times

Scripture: Isaiah 41:10 (NIV) – “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

Welcome to the Daily Christian Prayer Podcast with Reverend Ben Cooper. Today’s devotional episode is a powerful daily prayer for strength in trials, guiding believers across London, England, and around the world to stand firm on God’s promises. In this five-minute prayer meditation, we draw from Isaiah 41:10, one of the most powerful scriptures of hope, to remind us that God Himself strengthens and upholds His people every single day.

Life is filled with battles that leave us weary, anxious, and uncertain. Yet this Christian daily devotional podcast reminds us that God’s Word speaks louder than our fears: “I will strengthen you. I will help you. I will uphold you.” This is strength from heaven, not from ourselves.

Reverend Ben Cooper leads a heartfelt prayer that acknowledges the reality of hardship but lifts every listener into a sacred space of renewal. Across London, across the UK, and across the nations, Christians are uniting in a daily rhythm of prayer, standing together in faith, and finding resilience in God’s Spirit. This is why the Daily Christian Prayer Podcast continues to inspire thousands—because trials are not the end, but the proving ground for faith and testimony.

Good morning, good evening, good afternoon wherever you are. Do you need strength today? Do you need strength in trials? Are you going through the valley? Are you being stretched beyond human understanding?

Speaker 0:

Well, the title of this prayer time, quick-fired prayer time today is Strength in the Trials. The biblical reference is coming from Isaiah 41, verse 10. So do not fear, for I am with you. I will strengthen you and help you. Father, in the name of Jesus, I need strength in the trials of life. I need your power, your glory, lord. I stand with my brothers and sisters across the world today and we lock shields of hope. We stand together, lord, we walk together as true Bible-believing believers through the trials of life and we carry one another in prayer today. Bless my sisters and brothers across the world. But, lord, give us strength in these trials. Lord, give us strength in hard times. We pray today for courage as we face challenges that come through the front door of life. We pray, lord, that you will give us courage, that we'll be strong and bold in the name of Jesus, lord, that we will have courage, we will be bold as lions in the name of Jesus, lord, that we will rise on wings as of eagles. So, father, every trial that is before us today, we thank you, lord, that it is under our feet. Every trial is a test. Every trial is a strengthening. So, father, we thank you that we are praying today for strength in difficult days. Lord, the days are difficult, but, lord, we thank you that greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world.

Speaker 0:

And right now, wherever we are across the world, we believe that the power of God is with us. And, lord, we pray for hope today. We pray that hope will arise in times of trouble. But, lord, we are not allowing the trouble to entangle our feet. Lord, we will not be tied up. Lord, we will not, dear God, allow this situation to freeze us. Lord, we will rise and we will be strong in the name of Jesus, not in our own physicality, not in our own strength, but we will be strong in Christ Jesus.

Speaker 0:

So, father, we pray for the strength of God. Lord, when we are weak, then you are strong. So today, through the trial of life, through the book of Isaiah 41, verse 10, you tell us so, do not fear, for I am with you, I will strengthen you and help you. Spirit of the living God, we claim the word of righteousness over our lives. Today, we pray for strength.

Speaker 0:

When life feels heavy and weary. Lord, it feels heavy. Today, the atmosphere feels heavy. Uh, it feels difficult. Lord, we've woken up, lord, we're in the middle of the day, we're at the end of the day, we're tired and we are weary.

Speaker 0:

So, lord, we pray that you will give us strength, lord, but right now, lord, for every one of us that is walking through a storm of life, give us strength in the storm. Lord, we thank you that we have the resilience because of the word is with us. Lord, we thank you that we are not relying on our physical strength. We are not relying on our autonomy. We are not relying on monetary gain, we are not relying on anything in the world, we are finding our strength and our hope rises in our God. So today, lord, I will find strength in you and help me. God, you tell me through your word that you will strengthen us and you will help us. So today, lord, we pray that we will persevere and faith will arise.

Speaker 0:

We pray through the trials of life, through the valley, lord, through the harduous areas, lord, as we walk through the quicksand of life, as we try to keep stable, father, as the wind changes direction on us, today we believe that the glory of God is in us. Today, we believe that the fire of God is over us. We know that we are anointed, no matter how we are emotionally. Father, we thank you that it is not the emotion, it is the faith that we have in our God. And today, lord, we get into this prayer, we get into life and we say yes, lord, I'm getting out of bed today and I'm victorious. Lord, I'm getting off the sofa today and I'm victorious.

Speaker 0:

Lord, I'm getting into work. I'm victorious, lord, I'm getting into work, I'm getting into the rhythm of life and I'm going to rise, lord, because your strength and your anointing and your power is over me. Strength in trials, lord, I will not allow the world to hold me back anymore. I'm rising, lord, like that eagle. In the name of Jesus, Spirit of the living God, help us to rise. Today we pray for strength. When it feels really heavy, we pray for strength when the storm gets strong. We pray for strength, lord, and perseverance. Lord, I ask you right now, for myself and everybody on the sound of my voice. Through this prayer time I pray, lord, for courage and inner strength that we will feel the love of God in Jesus' name, amen. Thank you for joining me today. May God bless you and keep you. We will see you tomorrow for another Daily Christian Prayer podcast. Until tomorrow.
