Daily Christian Prayer Devotional Podcast

Episode Title: Praise Through the Valley

Key Scripture: Psalm 34:1 — “I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.”

Have you ever faced a moment so heavy, so uncertain, that praise felt like the last thing on your heart? In today’s 5-minute devotional prayer, Reverend Ben Cooper brings spiritual clarity to those valleys of discouragement, guiding you to discover the profound strength of praising God in spite of your circumstances.

This powerful meditation explores Psalm 34:1, challenging us to cultivate praise not only on the mountaintop but in the darkest depths of the valley. “I will praise You through the valley of uncertainty. I will praise You till I find breakthrough.” These aren’t just words—they are strategies for spiritual survival and growth.

Spiritual Depth Meets Daily Life

You don’t need to wait until the storm passes to worship. Praise is not a reward for resolution—it’s a weapon in the wilderness.
This episode invites you to turn every sigh into a song, every tear into testimony, and every valley into a place of victory. Whether you’re wrestling with anxiety, loss, doubt, or disappointment, God is still:

  • Jehovah Jireh – our faithful Provider
  • Jehovah Nissi – our Banner in battle
  • El Shaddai – the Almighty in all things
  • The Bread of Life – sustaining us in dry seasons
  • Emmanuel – God with us, even in silence

And because the veil has been torn through Christ’s finished work, your praise has uninterrupted access to God’s presence. Praise isn’t a performance—it’s your spiritual right.

Global Devotion for a Global Audience

Practical Life Application

Wherever you are—on your commute, your lunch break, at home, or in a hospital corridor—this short devotional will shift your focus from fear to faith. Praise isn’t passive; it’s powerful. And when you choose praise in the valley, heaven responds.

Let this prayer realign your heart. Let it restore your perspective. Let it help you declare, even in your pain: “Hallelujah anyway.”

I will exalt the Lord at all times. His praise will always be on my lips. Father, today we lift up the name, we exalt you, the Lord, at all times. So, father, whatever is going on in our life today, father, we exalt you, we exalt you, we lift you, we praise you at all times. Through the valley, your praise will always be on my lips. Lord, I will praise you through the valley of despair. I will praise you through the valley of uncertainty. But I'm going to praise my God. I'm going to lift my king up today, lord, when my faith may be down. I'm going to praise when my worry, lord, is strong. I'm gonna praise lord, when I'm in an uncertain place. I'm gonna praise you till I find breakthrough. I'm gonna praise you at this hour, wherever we are across the world. We thank you that there is power in praise. Your word is like honey on our lips. Out of our belly shall flow rivers of living water and, and today, lord, I will exalt the Lord at all times. His praise will always be on my lips. I ask you today that your praise will always be upon my lips. And I will lift up the King of glory, I will lift up Jehovah Jireh, I will lift up Jehovah Nissi, jehovah Shalom, my God, my King, my Savior, el Shaddai, the Lily of the Valley, the Great, I Am the Bread of Life. Father, you are the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through thee. And today, lord, and today, lord, we recognize at the cross of Calvary, the temple curtain was torn in two and access became available through Jesus Christ. And we come to you today because we praise you and we believe that we have access to the Father through Jesus Christ. And, lord, I praise you. I praise you because of the cross. The working of the cross of Calvary is finished and we are saved. We are born again. We are spirit filled and today, lord, we filled a fire of the glory of the anointing and the power of the Holy Spirit. Wherever my brothers are today, help us to be braggadocious, to stand on the word of God and Lord. We thank you for Psalm 34, verse 1. I will exalt the Lord at all times. His praise will always be on my lips. I will praise him, o my soul. I will rejoice you today on the way to work.

Speaker 1:

I'm rejoicing on the way home. I'm rejoicing at midday, lord, as I watch the sunrise. I rejoice as I watch the sunset. I rejoice, lord, as I drive my vehicle, as I commute across the world, as I'm in school education. Lord, I lift up the name that, at the name of Jesus, every knee shall bow.

Speaker 1:

Father, I thank you that the darkness has gone and light has come. I thank you that your word keeps me strong and, no matter what comes my way, the fire of God is with each and every one of us, spirit of the living God. We praise you of the living God. We praise you, jehovah, jireh. We lift you, jesus, we thank you. You are the king of the Jews, you are the God of all gods, you are the bread of life, the great, I am the lily of the valley, you are the good shepherd and today, lord, we praise that name and we will lift you up.

Speaker 1:

Lord, I exalt the Lord at all times. When I'm at the base of the mountain, I hallelujah. When I'm a midway, lord, it's hallelujah. When I'm at the top of the mountain, basking in the presence of the Savior of the world, it's hallelujah. Your God is for you.
