Daily Prayer: Conquering Fear Through Faith

Podcast: Daily Prayer with Reverend Ben Cooper
Scripture Focus: Isaiah 41:10, Psalm 23:4

Welcome to another powerful moment of reflection and prayer on the Daily Christian Prayer Podcast with Reverend Ben Cooper — where faith meets life, and grace meets fear. Today’s episode is a raw, honest, and deeply moving prayer for anyone walking through the valley of fear, anxiety, or emotional exhaustion.

We all face mornings when the sheer pressure of life makes it hard to get out of bed — when worry about work, relationships, finances, or even our own spiritual identity feels like a crushing weight. In today’s prayer, Reverend Ben Cooper reaches into the heart of this struggle and offers a biblical lifeline anchored in the unshakable promises of God.

Drawing from Isaiah 41:10“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.” — and the comfort of Psalm 23, this prayer helps reposition fear, not as a master over your life, but as something that is already under your feet.

“Lord, I just want to stay under the duvet, under the covers, and let the world pass me by, because I’m fearful of work, of life, of breathing, of dying…”These aren’t just words — they’re the honest cries of many believers, and they echo what so many feel in silence.

But the story doesn’t end there. This daily Christian prayer speaks life, victory, and transformation. Reverend Ben boldly declares, “Fear is under my feet. Doubt is under my feet.” This isn’t just encouragement — it’s a prophetic declaration, a spiritual pivot from paralysis to power, from worry to worship.

The prayer crescendos with a call for fresh anointing — “From the crown of my head to the sole of my feet” — acknowledging that overcoming anxiety isn’t by might, nor by power, but by the Spirit of the Lord. It’s a beautiful reminder that divine strength is not only available but promised.

Every gift helps us reach more souls with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Stay anchored in faith, stay strong in pair and remember God is always with you. Let's pray, father, in the name of Jesus. This is a good day because, lord, I'm not allowing fear to run my life. Lord, I'm going to stay strong in the word today, I'm going to trust you. Lord, I'm going to walk with you. And Father, I pray for anxiety. Today, the anxiety will break.

Speaker 1:

At the name of Jesus and Father, I thank you for the book of Isaiah, 41, verse 10. Lord, I am not going to let fear run my life. I'm going to stay strong. I'm going to trust you. I'm going to walk with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. And today, lord, will you deal with my fears, my insecurities, my worries, my doubts, my uncertainties around the world at this moment, father, will you help me to stay strong and faithful in the scripture? Lord, I am blessed and highly favoured, lord, I am wonderfully and fearfully made. But, lord, will you help me to have courage over fear? Because, lord, sometimes I get frightened, father, sometimes I get scared of just life itself. Father, some days I'm worried about going to work, to school, to life. Lord, sometimes I get social anxiety. But today, lord, I need courage over fear. Will you help me today, lord, to stand strong over fear. Will you help me today, lord, to stand strong. Will you help me, lord, to get out of bed, to get dressed, to put, dear God, my clothes on and get out of this house Because, lord, oh Jesus, please, god, help me put on the armor. Lord, I just want to stay in bed some days, lord, lord, I just want to stay under the duvet, under the covers, and let the world pass me by, because I'm fearful of work, I'm fearful of life, I'm fearful of living, of breathing, of dying. Lord, take this fear from me in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, give me the encouragement to get up and to get out.

Speaker 1:

In the name of Jesus, lord, I take control of my life through the power of the word of God and Lord, I am blessed and highly favoured. I am wonderfully and fearfully made and no matter what comes my way, lord, I believe in miracles and today my miracle is Lord, I am taking courage over fear. I'm going to be strong, as you told Joshua, I'm going to stand on the word. I'm going to meditate on this scripture today and even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me, your rod and your staff. You comfort me right before, in the middle of the valley of trouble, lord, where fear may be running over my life.

Speaker 1:

Lord, fear is under my feet, doubt is under my feet and I stand strong today, because this is the day that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad.

Speaker 1:

So, spirit of the living God, anoint me afresh at this hour, anoint me anew right now. Let the oil of the Holy Ghost run down the crown of my head to the sole of my feet, because I take courage over fear. In the mighty name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. So, lord, today I'm relying on you. I surrender everything I have to the King of Glory. May God bless you wherever you are across this world today.
