Let's dive in today for our devotional message and discover the power of God's unshakable truth. Wherever you are across this amazing world, I want to encourage you that Jesus Christ is your Lord and Savior and on this devotional message, wherever you are situated, whatever life looks like through your lens, I want to tell you now that you are blessed and highly favored, wonderfully and fearfully made. But let's open up this word this morning, this afternoon or the evening, wherever you are. We are in 1 Corinthians, chapter 15. Beautiful message 1 Corinthians, chapter 15, verse 57. And the title is beautiful Victory in Jesus. Do you realize that you are victorious today? Are you on the commute? Are you on the school run? Are you on holiday? Where are you at this moment in time? Do you realize that there is victory in the power of the word of God and all things are possible to those who believe? When we read the scripture that we're in at this moment in time, verse 57 of 1 Corinthians, chapter 15. But thanks be to God, he gives us victory through our Lord, jesus Christ. Should we just meditate on that scripture a moment? Should we just hold it on the scripture? But thanks be to God. Let's give God thanks for every situation that we are in, because every situation that we are in, he sees where we are, no matter what life is pushing our way, no matter how we view life, how we look at life, there is power in your innermost being, because the bible says greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world. And there is victory all over your life. There is power living within you. You have the deity, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. And verse 57 clearly tells us but thanks be to God, let's just give him thanks in this moment. Father, we give you thanks at this moment because there is victory in your Son. And as we stand on the gospel of truth, as we hold onto the word of faith, faith, we believe in miracles and right now, lord, we believe that the power of god, the god of israel, the father of isaac, jacob and abraham, is strengthening us right now. And whatever we face as bible believing believers, whatever we face as born again, spirit-filled christians, whatever face, we believe that our God is strengthening us and there is victory. The Bible says that he gives us victory through our Lord, jesus Christ. There is victory in Christ. Who is this Christ? Who is this King of the Jews?
Speaker 1:You know, when you study the Word of God, and especially if you look in the Gospel of John, chapter one, verse one in the beginning was the word, and the word was with God. He was with God in the beginning. The same gospel, john, chapter one, verse 14, says and the word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. And the Bible also says greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world. Wherever you are at this moment in time, the glory of God is over you, whatever you face in your life. This devotion this morning, this message is for you. This is completely for you Wherever you are right now. We pray that the fire of God and the presence of the Holy Spirit will strengthen you and carry you and the anointing of God, whatever your time zone is, across the world.
Speaker 1:Let's just meditate on verse 57 of 1 Corinthians, chapter 15, but thanks be to God. Yes, lord, we're giving you thanks today. He has given us, he has, he has given us victory. You already have victory. Do you realize that there is victory in your life? Before you get up, before you sleep, before you do anything? In your life? There is victory through our Lord, jesus Christ. There is strength in the name of the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit.
Speaker 1:What do you face today? What is life looking like in your lens? Are you on the commute, as I said earlier? Are you on the school run? Have you broken up for school holidays? Are you preparing for a holiday? Are you working at home at this moment? Are you in a staff room? Are you in a van? Are you commuting across the city?
Speaker 1:Wherever you are, I want to tell you right now that there is victory in the greatest name in heaven and earth, and there is victory in the name of Jesus. You carry a name. You carry a name that is so powerful. You carry a name that is greater than any other name. The Bible says at the name of Jesus, every knee shall bow on the earth. Under the earth, through the earth, every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. Jesus Christ is your Lord and he's grafted you into the vine, and nothing can separate, nothing can separate you from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus.
Speaker 1:So, through this devotional message this morning, this 15-minute devotional prayer time, scripture time together, whether it's the start of the day or it's midday or it's at the end of the day, jesus Christ is your victor. You are victorious because the scripture sits within your spirit, and that word that I read out, those scriptures that we read out just a few moments ago, coming from the New Testament 1 Corinthians, chapter 15, verse 57, but thanks be to God. Whatever you are looking at right now, whatever trial, whatever Goliath, whatever situation, just tell the devil that he has to go in the name of Jesus. Because, thanks be to God, god is strengthening you in the valley. God is strengthening you as you wait for the Red Sea to be parted. God is strengthening you as you're preparing to cross the River Jordan. And it says but thanks be to God, he gives victory to those who wait on him, he gives victory to those who rest on him. He gives victory to you. Do you realize that you are victorious? Because the king went to the cross of Calvary Again, the biblical reference is 1 corinthians, chapter 15, verse 57.
Speaker 1:Let's pray this through in just a few moments. We'll just hang around this scripture a moment and then we will go to a time of prayer together. God is preparing you for great things. God is preparing you for mighty things. God is getting you ready for a greater calling and a greater life, more than you could imagine, more than you can ask, because the King is with you. Here we have verse 57 of 1 Corinthians, chapter 15,. But thanks be to God, he gives strength and he gives power and he gives authority through the word of God, because you are called and you are chosen. He gives victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. You are victorious.
Speaker 1:It doesn't matter how you feel emotionally, it doesn't matter what you are looking at, how bleak it might look. You might be looking at Goliath, one after the other, you might be in the lion's den. But if you are called unto salvation, if the word is in you. If you are this Bible-believing, spirit-filled, braggadocious brother or sister for Christ Jesus, if you are this born-again warrior, there is victory in Jesus, not because of our autonomy and our strength and our skill set and our academic understanding, but because the king is inside of you. So let's pray.
Speaker 1:Let's take these moments to pray, father. We come to you on this day because this is the day that the Lord has made. We shall rejoice and be glad and we stand on the rock of scripture. Today, we rest in the arms has made. We shall rejoice and be glad and we stand on the rock of scripture. Today we rest in the arms of Christ.
Speaker 1:Spirit of the living God, will you move over our lives through this daily devotional podcast? Will you open our heart today, lord, will you strengthen my brothers and sisters, whoever they are, wherever they are? Let the fire of God sit on them, just like that great prophet. Lord, let them feel the rain. Let them feel the rain, father. Lord, let it rain in their lives the latter day rain, just like Elijah was running down Mount Carmel after he prayed.
Speaker 1:Lord, we are praying and right now, a miracle, dear God, is covering us. We are awashed in the precious blood of Jesus. We are cleansed by the blood of Jesus and through this daily Christian devotional podcast, there is victory, lord, not because of me, of who I am, pastor Ben, but because of who the King is is. The king is the great I am. He is jehovah jireh, he is jehovah nissi, he is jehovah shalom. He is the great I am. He is the bread of life. He is the good shepherd. He is all that you require because, through jesus, there is victory.
Speaker 1:Tell yourself, through this devotional time now, that there is victory in your life. Sickness bows to the name of Jesus. Fear bows to the name of Jesus. Worry goes, anxiety goes Through this prayer time as we are gathered around the scripture. Holy Spirit, will you move over these lives today? Holy Spirit, will you set the captives free today, holy Spirit, will you fire us up in the name of Jesus? But, lord, as the scripture has just told us, father, we thank you that there is victory in the name and we carry that name right now. And Lord, nothing, lord can separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus. And Lord, nothing, lord can separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus. And Lord, we stand at the cross of Calvary, and, father, we thank you that we are victorious. No weapon forged against us shall prosper. In the name of Jesus Christ, father, we rise today on wings as of eagles Out of the ashes of destruction. We stand strong because we thank you for our lives and we give you praise and Lord. We lift up the greatest name in heaven and earth.
Speaker 1:Verse 57 of 1 Corinthians, chapter 15, says but thanks be to God, he gives us victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. The writer writes through our Lord Jesus Christ. He's your Lord, jesus Christ. He's your God, he's your Savior, he's your Holy Spirit, he is your word, he is El Shaddai, he is the King above all kings, he is the King of the Jews. And through this prayer time, I pray that the presence of the Holy Spirit will strengthen you One more time. Verse 57 of 1 Corinthians, chapter 15. But thanks be to God, he gives victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. May God bless you on this day. May the Holy Spirit lead you in beautiful paths of righteousness. Just remember that you have victory at work, in relationships. You have victory all around your life. There is power living inside of you. You are not downtrodden, you are uplifted. I pray.
Speaker 1:Whatever you suffer with at this moment ADHD, fear, anxiety, sickness, disease, cancer, whatever it may be, heart disease, social anxieties, whatever you are worried about I want to tell you in the closing moments of this daily Christian devotional podcast, that there is victory in Jesus. Grab yourself a Bible, get in the Word of God today, wherever you are. 1 Corinthians, chapter 15, verse 57, victory. Tell yourself I'm victorious because the king is in the skin that I walk with. Tell yourself you're victorious because the king that is inside of you went to the cross of Calvary. Tell yourself that you are victorious because God loves you. We thank you so much.
Speaker 1:Wherever you are at this moment in time, we want to remind you that we're unshakable.
Speaker 1:Nothing can separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus, and wherever you are across this beautiful world, I want to encourage you to stand on the rock of all ages.
