Game Over: Breaking Free From Your Past - (#1094 - Elim)
Game Over: Breaking Free from Your Past
Podcast Title: Daily Christian Devotional with Reverend Ben Cooper
Have you ever felt like the past won’t let go of you — like no matter how far you’ve come, the mistakes, labels, or voices from yesterday are still chasing you? In today’s powerful devotional, Reverend Ben Cooper walks us through Exodus 14, where God’s people stood at the Red Sea, trapped between Pharaoh’s army and their future. It was a defining 50/50 moment — return to the captivity they knew or step forward into the freedom God promised.
This episode is a call to break the chains of history and declare "Game Over" to every voice, lie, or fear that tries to hold you back. Rev. Ben reminds us of a profound truth:
“What if you truly believed that your history was nailed to the cross of Calvary before you even lived it?”
Through a faith-filled exploration of Scripture, Ben shares how God positions us for freedom and how our past no longer defines us. The God who delivered Israel is the same God who silences our accusers, breaks our shame, and goes to battle on our behalf.
What You’ll Learn:
- How to stop letting others define you by your past
- The biblical truth of Exodus 14:13–14 — “The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still”
- Why your identity in Christ is greater than your history
- How to speak faith and truth over your situation using Hebrews 11:1
- Why God says “I will be an enemy to your enemies” (Exodus 23:22)
- The spiritual strategy of surrendering battles to the Lord
You’ll also hear a powerful word about letting go of fruitless arguments, online debates, and self-justification. God never calls us to exhaust ourselves trying to convince others — He calls us to walk in the freedom of forgiveness.
Scripture Focus:
- Exodus 14:13–14
- Hebrews 11:1 — “Faith is the substance of things hoped for…”
- Exodus 23:22 — “I will be an enemy to your enemy.”
Bonus Insight:
With over 1,400 past episodes in our archive, Daily Christian Devotional with Reverend Ben Cooper offers rich, consistent, Bible-rooted content to encourage your walk every day — through devotionals, prayer, and powerful teaching on faith, healing, and hope.

Speaker 2:God bless you. God bless you wherever you are right now in the mind. In the name of Jesus. May God strengthen you and carry you wherever you are across the world. May the fire of God and the presence of the Holy Spirit be with you, you know. Thank you for joining us wherever you are. Again, as I say that you know, wherever you are across this beautiful world, may God carry you in the mighty name of the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit. We welcome those on radio, we welcome those that are on podcast at this moment in time, those that are on camera, and wherever you are situated, may the power of the Holy Spirit lead you today and guide you in paths of righteousness Without further ado.
Speaker 2:Come on, we've got a bit of noise coming in the back feed there, but let's get straight into the scripture Without any more messing around. Let's get comfortable. Grab yourself a coffee, grab yourself a cup of tea, get yourself ready for breaking of bread later on. I'm just settling myself down. We want to say thank you so much to those that have downloaded. You know there's 25,000. Thank you so much for the 25,000 downloads. Thank you to everybody on radio this evening, wherever you are scattered, and I want to say thank you to everybody on the social networks. You know, on the social network works that we're streaming to. We just want to say thank you so much for staying with us for years in and years out, wherever you are. Come on, let's get in the title of this evening's podcast.
Speaker 2:This study is Game Over. Wherever you are across this world, the fire of God and the love of the Holy Spirit is with you. You know, we realize that all things are possible to those who believe. So, wherever you are tonight, never give up. Just trust in God. What has your day been like? What is your life like? What is happening in the world around you at this moment in time? But we want to encourage you to be steadfast in the word. We want to encourage you to be brothers and sisters of scripture. We want to encourage you, wherever you are today, tonight, whatever your time zone is, is never give up and trust in the word of God.
Speaker 2:Come on, we're going to get straight into the book of Exodus and we're just waiting, and I can see things are clicking through. We're okay, we are ready to go. So those that are listening, you know, across the other side of the world, we hope all is well in your world For those that might be in Israel at this moment in time. We pray for Israel and we pray that the blessings of the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit will be with those in Israel all the way through Palestine, all the way through the Middle East. We pray that all the way out God will do a miracle work in power and things will move so, so beautifully through Israel. But, father, we thank you that the power of God is over Israel and there is the glorious presence of the Holy Spirit in all of our lives. You know what? We are born again. Do you realize that you are a born again, spirit filled believer? And we are going to the book of Exodus. I'm so sorry I'm taking a bit of time to get into this podcast, into this study, and, if you're on radio, we're just waiting for a couple of things to click through. I can see we're clicking through. Everything is okay. The reason we wait is that we just want to make sure that everybody that is clicking through servers can get in. So we are about to press forward now. So we are going to the book of Exodus, chapter 14.
Speaker 2:And also, please remember that the radio ministry, the podcasting ministry. It is a listener-supported ministry and you can find and you can pray for us. Please go onto the prayer page of RB Christian Radio. Go onto there, any prayer requests, put them through. It comes through to the prayer team, it gets picked up and for those that are supporting us financially, may God bless you and those that are praying for us, may God bless you. So, whether you support us financially and through prayer, you know both are needed. So we thank you so much. Prayers are really, really needed. And also we thank you for those that go into RB Christian Radio and they click onto the coffee and they support us once a month just by buying us a coffee three pound. You know that really, really is lovely and we thank God for that. But also can you see on the screens behind me. You know, remembering the radio ministry is not supported by the church in any way, shape or form. That is down and that sits on my shoulders and also the church. We really could do with some prayer for the church.
Speaker 2:You know we hit funny points in the church and please remember that no one in the ministry of the church under Elim Church has any wages whatsoever For myself right across the board. None of us. We don't get paid. So when I put a cry out for money and we put the bank details on the screens, it's simply just to cover the costs of keeping the church moving. That's how critical it is.
Speaker 2:You know we've got a beautiful church here in Elam Swanley. We don't have a mortgage, we are not in debt in any way, shape or form and I'm going to be brutally honest. If we've got around about 800 to 1,000 pound in the bank, we are literally rich. We literally run by faith. So if there's anybody out there that can support us and help us get through this month you know we are a critical month we've got to pay the electric and a couple of other things and the stuff that goes with keeping the building opening. We've got a raise. I will tell you please, if you could put this to prayer and everybody on podcast and for those that can't see the church bank details, we just need to let you know that we've got to get around about £1,200 in the bank by the end of this month and please can you pray that that does you know? Again, I've got to tell you we don't have a mortgage in this church. We are not in debt in any way, shape or form. There are no one on wages.
Speaker 2:This is purely a listener-supported ministry. The radio is completely separated from Elim Church. The church does not support anything to do with this mission that we put out across the airways. When we ask for financial help, it's literally just paying the electric bill and keeping the doors open. That's basically what it is. But come on, you know I feel really agitated when I have to talk about money. You know I don't like talking about it, but may God bless every one of you in the name of Jesus.
Speaker 2:Let's get straight into these scriptures and the title of this evening's study podcast and, if you're journaling, if you're following this through with paper and pen, the title of this is very simple and it's called Game Over, game Over. Come on, let's get straight in. We're going to go into verse 10, verse 10 of Exodus, chapter 14. Get your Bibles open. Let's spend some time in the word of God. You know we've got time on our side tonight. I've got to be out of here at nine o'clock, and what I mean by I've got to be out of here is that I've got to make sure we're all said and done because the radio will click back over to worship at nine o'clock. That's all it is, but you can capture all of the recordings. You know over 1,400 podcasts, series, all what we've done, all the services in the back library. Find us on the platforms. You know how to find us now. But may God bless you. You know and thank you for being with me and I'm sorry that sometimes I have to ramble on at the beginning of a podcast and I know I've wasted. You know spoken for seven minutes and 30 seconds just being rambling on.
Speaker 2:Come on, let's get into verse 10, exodus, chapter 14. And it says as Pharaoh approached, the Israelites looked up and there was the Egyptians marching after them. They were terrified and they cried out to the Lord. Then they said to Moses was it because there was no graves in Egypt that you brought us up into the desert to die? What have you done by bringing us up out of Egypt? Didn't we say to you in Egypt leave us alone, let us serve the Egyptians? It would have been better.
Speaker 2:I can see Stuart is online and Stuart will put these texts up in just a few moments. We're in Exodus, chapter 14, and we're picking it up from verse 10 down to the end of verse 13. Just a few verses, but I just want to hang around if we can. And as we look at these scriptures it says as Pharaoh approached, the Israelites looked up. Now I find these scriptures really, really penetrating into the skin.
Speaker 2:And why do you say that? The reason I say that is because every one of us has a historical moment. Of course we do. But what I mean by historical moment I mean by where our history is trying to catch up with our present. So when you look at the Israelites and you look at the Egyptians and Pharaoh, when the Israelites looked up and they saw the Egyptians coming and Pharaoh and all what was coming towards them, what they could see was their history was trying to catch up to them. I want to let you know that all your history, all my history, has been now to the cross of Calvary, and the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit, has set you free and has set me free from history.
Speaker 2:But we've got to remind ourselves that our history can stumble us. And what do you mean by stumble us? Because the Bible says that God cannot look back at our history and God cannot judge us by our history, because it has been nailed to the cross of Calvary. So what happens? As a human being, we always look back. I don't know about you, brothers and sisters around the world, but so often I bring my history back up to my present, when God has nailed it to the cross of Calvary through the power of jesus christ going to the cross, you know, and, and there was blood shed. And when that blood was shed, when, when christ went to that cross, you know, the bible says that we are forgiven, that we are born again, that we are spirit filled. And when you look at this text that we're in, we're in a simple text. This evening we're keeping it really easy. It's Exodus, chapter 14, verse 10 through to 13. As Pharaoh approached, what was Pharaoh representing? He was representing slavery. He was representing the old way he was representing you know the fear it says they looked up and they was fearful. We mustn't look back and allow our history to determine your destiny. Now, what could have happened here is something really really powerful is that they could have given in to Pharaoh and they could have gone back.
Speaker 2:I want to tell every one of you on radio tonight, everybody on the social media, everybody on camera, everybody in the world of podcast, on the social media, everybody on camera, everybody in the world of podcast. Don't go back to your thoughts. You are not who the world says. You are Every area of my life, every failing, every situation where I let Jesus down time and time and time again. He has forgiven me and he's not looking at my history. But isn't it interesting? You got friends, social media work, colleagues, family, church life. They always seem to dig up what we was. Have you got anybody in your life that is digging up what you was? I want to tell you you wasn't and you're not what you think you was. God looks at you and he loves you. God tells you that you are my daughter and you are my son, and God looks at you and he doesn't look at our history, because that would erase the cross of Calvary. God looks at you and he loves you. God looks at you and he loves you. God looks at you and he says that's my daughter and that is my son.
Speaker 2:But what we find is the culture around us, the surrounding areas around us, certain things in life. Certain people love to bring up what we was. Have you got situations like that, where people keep bringing up what was. Do you remember what he was? Do you remember what he done? Do you remember what she was? You know, we got to be careful that we don't allow the labels of historical conversations and historical events stop us not getting our destiny but hindering our walk in peace, because what the world says I was, what the world says you was, is not relevant anymore, because every second, every millisecond, every moment, every breath, every second, every heartbeat, every second, every heartbeat, as we create history, as every time that clock ticks as we move forward, history is being created.
Speaker 2:So what does God and what can't God do? God can't bring up the past, because the past was already nailed to the cross before the past that we live actually was done. So everything and anything that I have committed through sin, through failure, before I even lived it, it was now to the cross of Calvary. That goes beyond mind, that goes beyond thought. That goes beyond mind. That goes beyond thought, that goes beyond understanding. As we look at that cross you know those that are with me on camera you look at that cross there. You know it was now to the cross of Calvary. As you look at that cross, over the backdrop, to the left hand side, I believe, of of the tv screen. Sickness and disease, fear and sin. Everything was now to the cross of calvary before I lived it and walked it and experienced it. God cannot dig up the graveyard and exhume me, because it is dead and it is finished and it is over. It is over. So the title of this study is Game Over.
Speaker 2:But isn't it interesting, when you look at this scripture, that we are in at this moment in time? When we look at this scripture, as human beings, we or I don't know, let me just speak for myself. Am I the only one that tends to look back at my past and allow my past to dictate almost to what is happening right now in my life? What I need to do is to surrender. I don't know about you, brothers and sisters, in the world of radio, in the world of social media now, or on one of the streaming platforms, I tend sometimes to allow what the world says I was and what I did do to affect my now. I cannot allow, because that is a lie from the gates of hell, because Jesus Christ nailed our history to the cross of Calvary. Before I knew you, I created you, so before I became a human being. So if the Bible is as true as it is true and the Bible is 100% true the word of God is sharper than a double-edged sword. The word of God is sharper than a double-edged sword.
Speaker 2:I want to tell you tonight that God knew my history. God knew your history before we even walked and dived into what we've done in our history. And obviously it wasn't our history to start with because it was our present. So when we were living in our present, god knew that we would live in that present situation, no matter how bleak, how dark and how sinful that may have been. God still decided to call you into the world. God still decided to call me into the world, doesn't matter how dark and how bleak the existence was. He rescued us from the darkness and brought us into light.
Speaker 2:But just like sometimes I wonder if this happens in the world of ministry and church just like the israelites that we are looking at in exodus, chapter 14, verse 10, as pharaoh has approached, sometimes we allow the pharaoh of historical stuff approach us. We cannot allow the enemy to come up and to try to take us back through thought and through process. You cannot, I cannot, live in the way that we think that we was and how we may have been. But there are people in your workspace, people in church, people in ministry, people in life, family, friends, brothers, sisters, rah, rah, rah, all that sort of stuff. There are people in our lives that keep us and try to keep us living in our history suit, your history suit, the earth suit, was now to the cross of Calvary.
Speaker 2:My sin, your sin, their sin, all the sin, was now to the cross of Calvary. Before any action, before I executed any sin, before the biggest sin I lived in, before the way that I walked in dark ways, in not godly ways. You know when those ways we walked in, you know God still chose to bring us in, knowing that the fact that I would fail him uncountable times. But the Bible tells us that he can't dig up what was. Let me tell you, god cannot dig up what was. It was nailed to the cross, it was washed through, it was cleansed by the blood of Jesus. I've been cleansed, you've been cleansed by the blood of Jesus. I've been cleansed, you've been cleansed by the blood of Jesus. And he has chosen you and he has chosen me and he has brought us into the kingdom of God. But sometimes I'm just like the Israelites in the book that we are reading, and we are in Exodus, chapter 14, verse 10.
Speaker 2:As Pharaoh approached, the Israelites looked up and there was. There was the Egyptians. What do you mean? That that was their history? Why was the Egyptians and Pharaoh their history? Because they was being brought out of slavery. And sometimes, if you read this text down a little bit further, there's a bit of a battle in the way of words, where Moses is being drilled why did you bring us up here to die? We would have been better of staying in our history and staying as a slave, staying in that culture, staying in that relationship, staying in that job, staying in that relationship, staying in that job, staying in that territory, staying in that postcode. Because we have been built into this way in the UK and within the understanding of where we live in the West, that we're better off to stay in familiar territory.
Speaker 2:But it's not true. We live our lives by faith. I want to tell you right now that you are free. Your history has gone. It doesn't matter what it looked like, it doesn't matter what it felt like. With the greatest respect to every one of you, whatever darkness you went through whatever pain you went through, whatever struggle you've been struggling with, you are saved and you are made whole by the blood of Jesus. Do not allow anybody in your life to tell you what they think you was, because God cannot look at you like that. God looks at you as a son and a daughter, and you are saved and you are the righteousness of God and you are a new creation. You are born again. The old has gone and the new has come. You have a new internal being and that being, the earth suit, stays the same. We still have all the idiosyncrasies of humanity, but the most important factor is that the inner us, your name, is stamped in the Lamb's Book of Life. Jesus has written your name in his book.
Speaker 2:You are in and, as this title of this series that we are in, in this study, this podcast, in this live stream tonight it is called Game Over. It is finished. God is with you. God is with you. History is done, it is finished. And every time you sip your tea, every time you just watch that clock tick forward, it is finished, it is over, it is done. And, brother and sister, please, I've gone through such difficult times over the last three years with stuff that I've been burying down, to certain things that happened, and you might listen to that podcast and you know what I'm talking about. I am dealing with my history and bringing it to the cross of Calvary and I am getting free from what people labeled me to be. Don't allow the label of history to tell you who you are right now, because those historical events are at the cross, they're buried, they're dead, they're gone.
Speaker 2:And as Jesus bowed his head when he said it is finished, what was he referring to? What was this, this God, this king, talking about when he said it is finished? We understand he was talking very clearly about a few things. He was referring to the Old Testament and saying the scriptures have been fulfilled and it is finished. But let's take it a little bit further, jesus, lord. Can I go a little bit further, lord? Can I press the envelope and open it up tonight, lord, because this is fact. When he said it is finished, he was referring to the scriptures coming to fulfillment, the prophecies, the Old Testament and the next to begin. It is finished. But also he was telling the world that your sins are gone. They're gone. And we wasn't even alive. I wasn't even alive when Jesus Christ died on the cross. For me, he died on the cross all those thousands of years ago. What are we? 2,500? Someone put it up there. You know it ran about that sort of time gap. You know Christ died on that cross and when he died on that cross, when he said it is finished, I need to tell you it is finished. I need to tell you history is finished. As we progress through this service for this church service, for the streaming service, as we progress through the radio, at this moment in time, every thought, every action, every deed in the mind has been washed by the blood of jesus, and the historical stuff that we're thinking and going through is gone. It is at the cross.
Speaker 2:But what we've got to be careful of is that we don't surround ourselves with characters like certain ones in the egyptian tribe. What do you mean? Moses was leading them out to freedom, and so often, as we get to freedom, we carry a few people with us that are telling us you got to go back, you got to go back, you got to go back to what you was Moses, take us back. We want to be slaves. Take us back. We want to be under the hand of the government. Take us back. We want to bleed for the government. Take us back. We got to go back.
Speaker 2:If there is anybody in your life that is telling you to go back to your history, tell them politely in the name of Jesus, get your suitcase and you go back, because I'm getting free. In the name of Jesus, I'm going to cross the Red Sea. Now let's remind ourselves. These characters were hemmed in by the Red Sea. There was no way forward. And we look at our lives sometimes and say there is no way forward. I can go back, but I can't go forward. Isn't that interesting that I can go back to my old stuff.
Speaker 2:What did the disciples do when they see Christ nailed to the cross of Calvary? What did they do when they see that the Bible tells us that Christ died and he was buried and he was in the tomb? What did the disciples do? They went. I'm going back fishing. I'm going back fishing. And what happened at that night when they went back? They caught nothing.
Speaker 2:See, when we go back, it's worse than what it was when we was in back. It's worse than what it was when we was in. But we sometimes tend to go back and we have people around us that go, we'll go back with you. So what we have here is, in a large community of the israelites, looking at the enemy and allowing the sight of the enemy to be bigger than the God that they serve. They didn't have a true relationship with the God of Israel, because if they knew the God that they served, they would have looked at the enemy that was coming up to get them and just laugh in the face of adversity. See, what we can't allow ourselves to do is allow the sound of Pharaoh's chariots and horses and the sound and the rhythm of history to take us back to what was. There is freedom in the name of Jesus.
Speaker 2:So if you have anyone in your life that you have gone a certain distance with and they are saying to you we got to go back, we got to go back, you can't stay in that environment, you've got to go forward. Yes, we might be hemmed in by the red sea. Yes, we are looking at the red sea just like the egyptians was, and they were saying why have you brought us out here to die? And at this moment they was in a 50 50 position. They was at the 50 50 mark, just like the loaf of bread, the good old 50 50. They was at a 50 50 position and christ got into the 50 50 garden of gethsemane. Because j Jesus said come on, let's be honest, if it's possible, take this from me. The 50 50 moment of Jesus, the moment where he was saying is there another way? Is there another way? Could you possibly do? The 50 50 garden, the garden of Gethsemane.
Speaker 2:And now, all of a sudden, we're in the book of Exodus and we find ourselves looking at. Now, all of a sudden, we're in the book of Exodus and we find ourselves looking at the scripture that we are in and the Israelites are in a 50-50 position. There are many of you and me we're in a 50-50 position and do we realize that we live in a 50-50 position more time than we realize because we've got the choice. Am I going to choose to live by faith and look at the Red Sea and say my God is going to part the sea? Or am I going to look back at Pharaoh and listen to the chariots, listen to the horses and look at the army of Lucifer and buckle under what the enemy might try to do?
Speaker 2:Let me reiterate something that the Bible says. God says to Moses and the Israelites I will be an enemy to your enemy. Let's just hold it a moment. God says to Moses, and through that generational line, I will be an enemy to your enemies. What does that mean? I ain't got to fight, you haven't got to fight. None of us have got to fight. We don't need to jump in the arena with any human being. We don't need to jump in the arena with any human being. We don't need to jump in the arena of history and try to prove ourselves to people that are dragging you back to what they say that you was. You don't need to prove anything to anyone. You don't, I don't. We don't need to be afraid of Pharaoh and the horses and the chariots of history, because when you realize who you are in the God of Israel, when you realize you are born again, when you realize the fire and the favor of God is over you everyone on camera that's before me, everybody that's on radio across the world, everybody that is in podcast.
Speaker 2:Now I'm telling you fact, biblical fact do not fight, do not fight. The battle belongs to the lord. But what do I do, rev? What do I do? I've got pharaoh chasing me down. I've got history trying to nail me to the floor. I've got people doing A, b, c and D. What do I do, rev? I open up the word of God and I turn to Psalm 23 for an example and I call out the name of Jesus and I say Father, in the name of Jesus, even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me, your rod and your staff. They comfort me.
Speaker 2:Lord, you prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. Let me tell you be prepared to watch your enemy fall before your very eyes. Be prepared to watch your enemy fall. Do not engage in your enemy. Do not go back to the enemy's territory. Do not go back, sister and brother. Do not go back. Do not put on the gloves. You've been trained, maybe through your life, to fight your way through life. Get your boxing gloves and hang them up tonight. Hang up the weapon of warfare and pick up the sword of the spirit. Let the Muppets in your history dance. Let the Muppets of the world get on with it. But let me tell you you are born again. You do not need the dogs.
Speaker 2:I'm going to have to use biblical language, I shouldn't call them Muppets. So the enemies are Muppets, but in the Bible the enemy is referred to, you know, lucifer and all that sort of stuff. So let me use the biblical terminology Do not let the dogs in your life, do not let the foxes in your life nip at your ankles and try to take you back into the arena of proving yourself. You don't need to prove yourself to any enemy. You don't need to prove yourself to your family. You don't need to prove I'm talking about me as well.
Speaker 2:I don't, we don't us. We do not need to prove our self to anybody. You don't need, I don't need to justify anything to anyone, because we belong to God. We don't belong to any human being. You belong to the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, and I'm going to tell you tonight God loves you. God loves you wherever you are across this world. The fire of God is over you and do not fight in the historical arena, because your history has been nailed to that cross on the backdrop over there. You are saved and you are born again and the power of the living God is with you.
Speaker 2:But just as the Egyptians were coming up and trying to take out the Israelites. Just remind yourself, those ones that are bringing it to your front door have no power over you, because the power that is over you, the power that is with you, is the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. God says the battle belongs to me. Do not fight in any arena. Stop the text from going, stop the email. Do not and I'm talking about us, me, you, as brothers and sisters.
Speaker 2:We cannot afford to engage on the plastic world of social media. Do not retaliate on social media. We do not need to prove anything to anyone. You do not need to rant and to rave and to put your story over. Let the Muppets sorry, lord let the dogs, let the foxes say what they want. Let Lucifer say what they want. You do not need to jump into the arena of skirmishing. Take the gloves off and realize that God will fight for you. When you think about that.
Speaker 2:But how do I get through this valley? That? But how do I get through this valley, rev? How do I get through this situation? I get Psalm 23. And I say, father, in the name of Jesus, I'm in the valley. And he says, ben, I know you're in the valley, lord, I'm walking through the valley. The Lord is my shepherd. He says I know it, I know I'm your shepherd. Ben, that's correct, lord is my shepherd. I shall not want Lord lord, I'm not in want. He says I will supply all your needs according to thy riches in glory. But I want you to trust me, ben. I want you to live by faith. I want you to trust me with everything that you've got. I want you to lay everything down to the cross tonight, ben, and I want you to trust me because your enemies will disappear like smoke. Your worries will disappear like smoke, ben, when you come to the cross of Calvary and you speak from your heart. Ben, I don't want lip service. I don't want Elim chat. I don't want social media chat. I don't want all that chat, ben. What I want is I want a word from your heart, ben. What I want is for you to say Lord, be the Lord and saviour of my life, and then I can hear God's voice saying I am already the Lord and saviour. I just want to hear your heartbeat like it. Ben.
Speaker 2:Brothers and sisters, we're living in the last days. We're living in the last days. The king is coming back. We're living in the last days. The king is coming back and now is a time not to allow the enemy to keep you in the old area. Get out of the desert and stand in front of the Red Sea and say my God is going to part that sea for me. My God is going to supply all my needs according to thy riches in glory, and I am not going to be afraid. I am not going to be afraid. I'm not going to allow the Muppets, the dogs and the mutilators of the flesh, I am not going to allow the history to stop me getting my destiny.
Speaker 2:Come on, we belong to the kingdom of God. Let's lock shields of faith around the world tonight. Let's share all this stuff out and tell your brother and your sister I am rising out of the ashes like an eagle. I shall soar on wings as of eagles and no one can drag me back to what they want me to be, because my God has given me a new life. My God has given me a new hope. My God has washed me in the blood of Jesus. My God has set me free. My God has a plan for me, for I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, to give you a hope and to give you a future, not to harm you in any way.
Speaker 2:Come on, let's tell the world around us that we are braggadocious, that we are radical Bible-believing believers, that we believe in miracles, we believe in the power of the Word of God, we believe we're coming to the table. We're coming to the table in just a few moments and, wherever you are across the world, I want to emphasize this tonight that God is telling me and telling you do not engage in the people of your history, leave them back in the land of slavery. Do not engage in social media activity, do not engage in work activity, do not engage in worldly activity that takes you back in to your history. You do not need to tell anybody, you do not need to argue with anybody, you do not need to draw a punch, you do not need to send a text. Just delete them out of your phone book, delete them off of your social media. Just do not engage in them anymore and turn to the cross and say Lord, I'm not allowing that devil to hold me back. I'm not allowing that dog to hold me back. I'm not allowing that Muppet to control me. I'm not allowing that dog to hold me back. I'm not allowing that Muppet to control me. I'm not allowing that fox to keep nipping at my ankles. I am free because of what the Gospel of John says who the son sets free is free indeed.
Speaker 2:Come on, we're at the table. We ain't got long to go. We've got about 10 minutes and we're out of here. In the name of Jesus, father, we come to the table. Lord, slaves of righteousness, that's what we are. I want to be a slave of righteousness and not a slave to Pharaoh. So, lord, will you cut the umbilical cord to history tonight?
Speaker 2:In the name of Jesus and as we break bread, I want to invite you, wherever you are across the world, to grab yourself a bit of Ribena, a bit of grape juice even if it is water at this moment in time a bit of bread, a burger bun. If you're in McDonald's drive through at this moment in time, just get yourself a bit of bun, grab yourself a bit of juice, park up in the car park space and let's break bread together, wherever you are. You know, come on. Even if you used a bit of a crust of a pizza, it's only bread. Come on, let's get real. But it's how we deal with it, father, in the name of Jesus, we come to you, lord, and I break bread, whether that is pita bread, whether that is a cracker, whether that's a biscuit, whether that's a bit of a burger bun, whether that's a bit off of a kebab, whatever that is, lord, the bread is the bread. And Lord, what I am coming to now is the realization, is what it symbolizes is the body of Christ and Lord. I'm being completely respectful, brother and sister, and you know what I'm saying.
Speaker 2:The church has got to legalistic. The church has got too weird and too wobbly, too pink and too woke, and we got to break out of church and we got to tell the world that we are Jesus followers, we follow the word, we are radical, we are Bible believing believers, we are braggadocious, we believe in miracles. Our God is healing us, our God is freeing us. We believe in miracles. Our God is healing us, our God is freeing us, our God shall supply all our needs according to thy riches in glory, and no devil in hell is going to hold you back tonight. In the name of Jesus.
Speaker 2:So, father, as we break bread together across the world, on radio, on live stream, in the world of podcast, father, we thank you that, this bread that we hold in our hands at home, in church, in the van, on the curb, in the field, in the staff room, wherever we are, we break bread in the name of Jesus. And tonight, lord, I thank you that your body was broken for me, and your body was broken for me before I even existed. And I thank you, jesus, that salvation is outside of my understanding and I'm saved, I'm washed in the blood of Jesus. So tonight, lord, I thank you for this bread and my brothers and sisters around the world. I stand with them, lord, I stand with anyone tonight that feels worthless and tired, and I uphold you in the name of Jesus and don't worry. Don't worry about a thing.
Speaker 2:And that line, that lyric, comes from the Black Eyed Peas. Don't worry and listen to that. Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank you for this bread that symbolizes the body of christ. As I break this, come lord in jesus name. Amen, wherever you are, whatever your time zone is, whatever your life looks like, I'm asking you to look at your life and say this prayer tonight. Pray it with me.
Speaker 2:Father, in the name of Jesus, cut the umbilical cord to plastic people. Cut the umbilical cord where I'm not strong enough to cut people out of my life. Take them out of my life. Lord, I want you to cut the historical cords in the name of Jesus. I want you, father, to remove those people that keep drawing me back to the old stuff through conversation, through thought, through arguments, through life. And, lord, help me not to engage in fighting anymore but to realize that my God, the battle, belongs to my God.
Speaker 2:So tonight, lord, will you cleanse me in the blood of Jesus? Will you wash my brothers and sisters across the world, those faithful brothers and sisters that are online and on radio, service after service? I thank you so much. I wish I could meet every one of you. I wish that I could give every one of you a hug and tell you thank you so much for your support. You don't realize how much you mean to me. You know, honestly, I mean this from the bottom of my heart. I respect every one of you that listens and downloads and watches, week in, week out, year after year. You really are warriors, honestly. You really are, and I pray that God will take you to a great place and God is blessing your life.
Speaker 2:But let's take this cup together now, in the name of Jesus, father, cleanse me from the crown of my head to the sole of my feet, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen, the blood of Jesus. Do you know that God loves you? Do you know that you are anointed? Do you know that there is a greater calling over your life? If you was to do a 360 degree turn right now and you look at everything in your life, from history to present, there's more for you. Don't be fixated on what you see as that is it. Look beyond what you can see. Look further, what you can imagine. Now let's finish on this scripture. The book of Hebrews is a beautiful book. We could turn to Hebrews, chapter 12, round about two and three, where it says fix your eyes on Jesus. But I think this scripture is a bit more appropriate for where we sit at this moment as we come to a close.
Speaker 2:Hebrews 11, verse 1. Stuart, if you could quickly bang that up, that'd be amazing. Hebrews 11, verse 1. Stuart, if you could quickly bang that up, that would be amazing. To quickly put that on the socials. We've got about three and a half minutes.
Speaker 2:Hebrews 11, verse 1. Now faith. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen. See, what you see is not everything. What you have is not everything. There is more for you. There is so much more for me and for you.
Speaker 2:And the Bible and God is saying Ben, I want you to live by faith tonight, ben, I want you to trust me that that money will be in the church bank. Lord, I trust you that you will do that. Do you know what it scares me? Some days, when I look in the church bank, I literally get a headache and I get fearful and I worry because I am a human being. Then I have to say God, you've got us this far, please help. So, whatever it is in our lives whether we're pastors, leaders, whatever, and whoever we are we all experience fear that the scripture is on Now.
Speaker 2:Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Come on, I want to live like this. I want to live in this freedom of faith. I want to live in the freedom that God is going to supply all things. I want to live in this freedom that God will make a way. There is power. In the name of Jesus, let's live by faith tonight. Let's live radically. And what I mean by that is seeing, seeing and seeing the invisible. See the invisible becoming possible.
Speaker 2:The book of Luke I can't remember off the top of my head, you know my brain's aching at this moment in time. The book of Luke clearly says what is impossible with man is possible with God. What is impossible with man is possible with God. What is impossible with man is possible with God. I love it, do you? I love that. I love that fact. What is impossible with man is possible with God. So put that to Hebrews 11, verse 1. It is on the social network. Stuart has put it up there. Thank you, stuart.
Speaker 2:Now, faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence. Your faith is the evidence. Your vision, your dream is the evidence. Start seeing, start believing, start trusting, start seeing it. See it, see it tonight, dream it, even if you can't see it, even if you're fearful and you can't see it. But you believe it and you just get yourself seeing it tonight, get yourself seeing the victory in the name of Jesus.
Speaker 2:We're coming to the close. We're going to click out in just a few moments off of the radio. We'll stay for a few minutes on the social networks just to wind this through. But we want to say thank you to everybody tonight, whether you've been on camera, whether you're on podcast, and we want to say thank you to everybody on radio, and it is phenomenal to think that 25,000 people are out there and we are linked together. May God bless you wherever you are tonight. We love you and thank you for staying faithful and, as we always say, as you can see the bank details on the screen, please, if you can help us get to that place that money that we've got to get in by the end of the month. May God bless you and carry you in the name of Jesus. For those that are on radio, may the Holy Spirit lead you and, as we click out of radio, may God bless you and carry you in the name of Jesus. Stay on the social networks with me just for a moment as we just continue to move forward in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
Speaker 2:We're off the radio now, but we are on the social network still. We're just going to take our time and I want to pray for every one of you tonight, father. I pray for my brothers and sisters that are still with me on social media. I pray, father, that you will touch their lives, that you will refresh them and restore them in the name of Jesus, and that the fire of God will carry every brother and sister that is on camera with me now across the world, everybody that is still hearing my voice, lord. I ask you tonight, lord, that you will touch their hearts. Father, will you bless their house? Will you bless their work? Will you bless their home, father? I pray tonight that every brother and sister will not will not go back to our history, but, lord, we will be warriors and we will look to the Red Sea.
Speaker 2:Yes, we hear Pharaoh behind us, but our God is for us. The enemy is behind and God is in front. May God bless you and carry you in the name of Jesus Christ. We are out of here, we are done, but wherever you are, we just want to say thank you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, as we just click out of the you, in the mighty name of jesus christ, as we just click out of the socials in just a few moments. But we want to say may god bless you and carry you. Never give up, in jesus name, we'll see you soon.
Speaker 2:Thank you for those that are praying for us. Thank you for those that are putting some uh, wedge in the bank. We do appreciate that. You know it is lovely and we do appreciate that it might sound like I haven't been faithful, trusting god for the money, but I am. I really, really am, trust me. You know there's sweat on my brow but god will wipe the sweat away. In the name of jesus, and to everybody tonight that clicks into radio and just supports us three pound a month, you know. Thank you for those, but also for those that pray. Thank you for the prayer warriors. Thank you that, you, but also for those that pray. Thank you for the prayer warriors. Thank you that you are praying for us and we pray for you too. We'll catch you soon. May God bless you and carry you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. God bless, good night.
