When Jealousy Follows the Dream – The Hidden Cost of God-Given Vision

Have you ever noticed how some people disappear when you’re in your lowest valley—but suddenly reappear or grow distant when you start to rise? This powerful episode dives deep into a spiritual paradox every believer will eventually face: Why do those closest to us often struggle with our God-given elevation?

Drawing directly from Genesis 37, we look at the life of Joseph, who openly shared his prophetic dream with his brothers—only to be met with hatred and betrayal. Not because they were strangers, but because they were family. The rejection Joseph faced speaks volumes to those of us who've experienced jealousy from our inner circles just for stepping into purpose.

We also explore King Saul’s envy of David, revealing how spiritual favor can provoke fleshly insecurity. Once a mentor, Saul became a threat to David the moment his anointing began to outshine Saul’s own. These biblical truths still resonate today in ministry, friendships, family, and leadership.

Reverend Ben Cooper then pivots to a crucial reflection: Who carries your mat when you’re paralyzed? Unlike the shallow comforts of social media’s “thoughts and prayers,” we look to the four faithful friends in Mark 2 who ripped through a roof to bring their paralyzed friend to Jesus. This is what real spiritual friendship looks like—messy, inconvenient, sacrificial.

This episode also validates the pain of spiritual isolation—those moments where your progress costs you people. As you grow spiritually, not everyone will grow with you. But that’s okay. God uses these dark, pressing places—what we call “the darkroom of trouble”—to shape your destiny, separate the real from the fake, and build a resilience that no applause or attention could ever provide.

You’ll be encouraged, challenged, and equipped to discern the voices in your life:
Are they lifting your mat to bring you closer to Christ, or are they secretly dragging you back?

Tune in now to discover how betrayal, jealousy, and divine purpose often intersect, and how to guard your dreams while staying obedient to your calling.

If you are across the world. May God bless you and strengthen you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Let's get straight into the scriptures. Let's turn to the book of Genesis. We're going to turn to the book of Genesis, chapter 37, 37.

Speaker 2:

And for those that are on camera, for those who are on screen, you know we just hit 25,000 downloads absolutely phenomenal in the world of podcasts. For those that are listening on the radio at this moment in time. For those that are on screen, you know we've hit 25,000 podcast downloads. It's just absolutely amazing. Thank Thank God for your prayers, thank God for your support and for those that are supporting us through prayer. For those that are supporting us, you know, through £3 a month. We are so blessed. And if you can afford £3 a month, just go straight on to rbchristianradionet and click the little coffee button down on the right hand corner. You know it comes up and just support us. You know a monthly payment of three pound. It's absolutely amazing. But for wherever you are across the world, we just want to say thank you from the very, very bottom of our heart. That we've just hit 25,000 downloads Just absolutely crazy If you think about them. Amount of people and trying to squeeze them in the building. You know that would be some church on a Sunday morning 25,000. And that's just absolutely a godsend what God is doing across the world. And again we want to say thank you to everybody in the church with us this evening. Thank you so much for your prayers, thank you for your financial support. Thank you to everybody online, wherever you are, that have stayed with us over these years, right from the very beginning of lockdown, when we pushed everything and we got everything starting and a gentle progression, and now we've got RB, christian Radio, that is pushing it across the world, and also Reverend Ben Cooper's podcast. You can find that on all platforms, you know. And just phenomenal to think that there are 25,000 people out there. Imagine how big that church would be if you had them all together in one place. You know that's absolutely amazing. So we want to say thank you and it means so much to every one of us here in the ministry that is being supported and everything that goes on.

Speaker 2:

But we're going to turn back, uh, into the old testament. We're going to go to genesis, chapter 37, and we want to encourage you tonight never give up in your dream. Never give up in your dream. You know it doesn't matter about age, doesn't matter about culture, doesn't matter, it doesn't matter about anything that's going on within the world. You know, never give up. We want to encourage you tonight to never, ever, ever give up, to keep pressing. You know, when the world comes against you, when everything is coming against you in life and everything around you, just never give up. You know, just keep pushing. Just believe for the miracles in your life, believe for your healing. Never give up. Believe that God is moving in your workplace. Never give up. Believe God is leading you paths of righteousness. Never give up. Don't worry about what the outside environment says around you. But, brother and sister, wherever you are across the world, we just want to say never, ever give up. You know, be radical, be that radical Bible-believing believer, press into the scripture, take hold of the word of God.

Speaker 2:

If you, if we had time and we will do a podcast on the journey of how we got to, where we got through. Audio is absolutely amazing. You know, the vision, the dream, 10, 11 years, maybe a go you know just crazy. You know just a dream and it was impossible and it never seemed to fit. But now we are right at the early stages of it. We got it moving, and it would not we, but God's got it moving. But you know exactly what I mean and we have just had 25,000 downloads just in podcasts alone. Imagine what that would be like. And we want to say thank you to everybody out there that has just done that massive download. You know America is accelerating. You know, um, thank god, uh, for every nation. You know I think there's one, 1 800 plus uh cities we're in, I think it's one uh, 167 uh countries around the world. You know it's just phenomenal what is happening. But we want to say thank you so much. We've just hit that uh, 25000 downloads. It's just beyond human understanding.

Speaker 2:

So I want to encourage you tonight to never give up in your dream, never give up in your vision, doesn't matter what life looks like, it doesn't matter. You don't need financial support from anyone, even though we asked for that. But you know what I'm saying. It starts off, there is a birth in place, but what I just want to get to tonight is really, really important is be careful who you share your vision and your dreams with, and we're going to turn into the Old Testament. We're coming from. The Old Testament. We're coming from Genesis, chapter 37., and we're going to pick it up in verse three. This is all about sharing your vision and your dream and I want to encourage you tonight to never give up. There is power in the word of God and God has your life. You know you are blessed and highly favoured, wonderfully and fearfully made.

Speaker 2:

And before we go any further, I just want to pray for a blessing over Israel. Father, in the name of Jesus, we bring Israel before you tonight. We pray, lord, for the state of Palestine, that Palestine will be saved in the name of Jesus, that Palestine will experience freedom. And the only way, lord, we know that they will experience the freedom is you will know the truth and the truth will set you free. So tonight, Lord, we pray for Palestine. We pray, dear God, for the Gaza Strip. We pray, dear God, for the Middle East. We pray, father, that the love of God will be through Israel.

Speaker 2:

Tonight, lord, and I want to let the world know that I stand with the biblical Israel. And tonight, lord, let your glory, lord, let your glory, flow out of Israel in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Let your presence flow out from Israel, lord. Let the areas around Israel know that Jesus Christ is their Lord and Redeemer. Let the Palestinians know that there is freedom only through jesus christ. Let the, let the areas around that middle east know that there is freedom in jesus christ.

Speaker 2:

So, lord, we pray tonight, lord, for the uk as well. Lord, will you move through the uk, lord, will you touch our hearts tonight? But, lord, I pray that we will never give up in our visions and our dreams. And tonight, lord, whoever is watching the 25 000 lord that is out there, lord, we thank you for them. We thank you for everyone in the house before me tonight. Thank you everybody on RB, christian Radio. Lord bless lives tonight. But, lord, let the world know, never, ever give up in your vision, never give up in hope, never give up in your dreams. So, whoever you are tonight, may God bless you and strengthen you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. I just want to reiterate. I just want to say imagine what it would look like now if we had them 25,000 people before us right now. Imagine the size of how big the church would be.

Speaker 2:

25,000 downloads from shopping trolley land here in Swanley pound stretch of land. We got more fast food takeaways than the rest of the world through this high street. We got more shopping trolleys on the corners. You've even got the privilege of sitting on a sofa on every street corner. You know what I mean. Thank God, and people are even giving us beds on the street corners. Isn't it lovely of them that they're doing that. You can have a sleep on every street corner in Swansea. You can have a nice sit down and lay down on a sofa. You know, you can even push yourself home in a trolley from Asda.

Speaker 2:

Praise God, this is what I'm getting at. You know I'm flipping, you know I mess around, but it's really important that right here, right in the thick of the run of life, you know, if we could put those 25 000, uh people in one church tonight I don't know if where, where we could squeeze 25 000 people, to be fair, but think about that at the moment. You know, uh, alex, put it on the screen, let everybody see that, that, that just let them. Let them see that tonight, because it's a time for prayer and it's a time, you know, for everyone on the other side of the prayer and it's a time, you know, for everyone on the other side of the radio, and we want to say thank you to everybody on the other side of the world that is listening and there's an acceleration like we've never seen before in many, many areas. And the reason that I speak about Swanley Shopping, trolley Land, is because I just need to let you know. I need to let you know that visions and dreams come from the most obscured places in the world. It's really, really important that you have a vision and you have a dream, and God is birthing something in your life. It is so powerful. God is birthing something in your life and we want to tell you tonight to never give up.

Speaker 2:

But what's really really critical is in the scripture that we are in, and we are in Genesis, chapter 37, verse 3. And it says now, israel loved Joseph more than any of his brothers or his sons sorry, because he had been born to him in old age and he made a rich, beautiful robe for him. When his brothers saw that the father loved him more of any of them, they hated him and could not speak a kind word to him. Let me tell you this before you go any further tonight there are people in your life that will throw an axe in your back when they realize God is starting to work and God is accelerating you. God is accelerating you and God has something really massive and God is accelerating you. God is accelerating you and God has something really massive and powerful for your life. And we want to encourage you tonight to never, ever, ever, give up in your dream. You know, there it is in the bottom corner for those that are online with us, you can see 25,000 downloads. It's possible and it's accelerating. I need to encourage you tonight.

Speaker 2:

Never give up in your dream, never give up in your dream, but let's carry on. In the word of God, and it says there now, verse 5 Joseph had a dream and when he had told his brothers they hated him all the more. Be careful who you share your story with. Now. Isn't it interesting? There was blood. The same bloodline was in the brother's veins. Come from the same dad, come from the same family. But isn't it interesting? Who you share your story with? They will criticize you and they could either accelerate you or try to kill you, because you have a story. You have a story and your life is so important to the rest of the world around you. Never give up in your story. Never give up in your dream. Never give up in hope. But what is critical, what is absolutely critical, is who you tell your story to.

Speaker 2:

Now, joseph, he went out. He went out and he said look. He said I've had a dream, I've got a vision. Be careful when you share your story to who? To the ones in church, to the ones in ministry, because there's a jealous thread in church and in ministry that will not cut nice. I've experienced it. I know exactly what it's like. Be careful who you share your story with. Pastor, pastor, I want to tell you what the Lord is doing. Well, the Lord hasn't told me first, because I'm the leader of this church and pastors will try to shut your story down. Leaders will try to shut your story down. Now, joseph's brothers, joseph's brothers tried to erase him off the earth. They wanted him gone. Be careful. Now there's another great story out there. You got King David and King Saul. You got King David and King Saul when they came back from battle and they were singing David, david, david has slain more tens of thousands over King Saul. Be careful of jealous people. Be careful of people in your life where they carry you and where they take you to.

Speaker 2:

Now, the other day, we just touched the skin of a scripture that was really, really interesting and that was in the New Testament. And I was speaking about the man that could not get off his sickbed. Now you might be tired, you might be exhausted and you might be finding that there's no one in your life that will get you and carry you to Jesus. Now let me paraphrase this story a little bit. Now. This man was tired, he was exhausted, he couldn't move, he was not well and he was laying on this bed and he knew Jesus was in town and Jesus was in this house. And it says that no one could get to Jesus because the house was filled. You couldn't get through the doors, you couldn't get through the doors, you couldn't get through the window, you couldn't get to Jesus. Now, be careful of the friends that you have in your life. Now, when you look at the friends or the family and the people that we're looking at here, the people that you have in your life, where are they carrying you to? What crowd are the people that you are mixing with? Where is that crowd taking you to? Are they taking you to Jesus or are they taking you to the devil's playground? Now, that scripture that I'm just referencing is very, very clear. Now it says he had four, four picked up every corner. The four picked up the corner of his bed and they took him to the presence of Jesus, but the four could not get him into the house where Jesus was.

Speaker 2:

Now have you got four people in your life that are taking you to Jesus? Have you got anyone in your life that is taking you to Jesus when you're tired and you're weary? You haven't got a pound in your pocket, you've got no diesel in the tank, you've got no petrol in your vehicle, there's no food on the table, the gas meter is reading zero, the electric is non-existent. Have you got people in your life that are supporting you when you're on your sick bed? Or you might say well, I'm not physically sick, I can walk, I can get about. We don't need that in our lives, but what we need to understand is the bed of life.

Speaker 2:

Have you got people in your life that, when you share your vision and your dream with, just like Joseph, when you share your vision and your hope with, do they carry you and help you get your vision fulfilled, or do they start to put areas in your life that are our stumbling blocks. Now it says that Joseph shared his vision and his dream, and his brothers, his family, hated him all the more. Coming back to the New Testament, these four guys see that their friend needed to get to Jesus. Have you got four friends in your life that know that you've got to get to Jesus? Because you're paralyzed. You're paralyzed because of fear, because of history, because of culture, because of life, because of the lack of. Have you got people in your life that are carrying you to Jesus or carrying you to a different destination? Where are your friends taking you? Where are your family taking you? Are your family for you.

Speaker 2:

Be careful. I've got to keep reiterating what I'm saying tonight. It is critical Be careful. Who you share your vision and your dream with. Be careful, who pick up the corner of your bed, the mat, life itself, because there are many people in our lives, my lives, your lives. They love and they thrive off of me falling down. Isn't it interesting that there are many people that love us when we're down on the floor? Oh, yeah, look, look at that, look at that. But when you start to rise, isn't it interesting? When you start to rise and you start to move forward in the scripture. You start to find that you will gravitate and people will gravitate around you because you are starting to move forward. It's very, very interesting in people that you have in your life.

Speaker 2:

I would do an exercise if I was you. I would look at every human being that is in your life, every human being, from parents to husbands to wives, to brothers, to sisters, to friends, to work colleagues, to people at school. Are they helping you, are they getting you to Jesus, or are they getting you to the devil's playground? When they pick up your life, where are they taking you? What destination? Now I want to be surrounded with four people, just like the man that was laid on the bed of life and he could not get to Jesus.

Speaker 2:

Because, let me tell you, when fear comes in, when doubt comes in, when the rhythm of life is so heavy, we find it very difficult to get to Jesus. The world becomes more loud, social media becomes more loud, the lack of becomes more loud and people in our life becomes more louder. When we are down, it's very, very interesting that people love to keep us down, but you've got to be a little bit crazy for Jesus. You've got to be like a warrior, you've got to be like a lion, you've got to stand up and you've got to say I'm bold, I'm braggadocious, I'm blessed and highly favoured and I'm going to find a way. Even if no one comes to my life and will not pick up the four corners of the mat of my life, I am going to get to Jesus because I haven't got to be physically strong, I've just got to say dear God, in the name of Jesus, father, in the name of Jesus, I'm going to rise like an eagle today, lord, I'm going to rise on wings as of eagles, Lord, I'm going to rise up. Have you got people in your life? Now let's come back. I'm skipping from old to new, new to old, because we've got so much to get through.

Speaker 2:

Now, when you look at this great story, this biblical fact in Genesis, chapter 37, verses three onwards, and it says in verse five Joseph had a dream. Let me tell you from clear experience of 30 years experience within religion and the church be careful who you talk to. Just because he's a pastor doesn't mean to say he's for you. Just because they're in a worship band doesn't mean to say they're for you. Just because they're a chaplain doesn't mean to say that they're for you. Just because it's mum, dad, brother, sister, fred, george, bill, whoever it may be, doesn't mean to say that they're for you, because there's an interesting thread that runs through humanity and that thread is called jealousy jealousy. Thank you, my brother. Jealousy drives people to do odd things. Jealousy will try to stop you becoming a great man or woman for Jesus Christ.

Speaker 2:

People in your life when they start to realize that you have an anointing, not that you are becoming arrogant and bold because we don't realize when God is actually molding us in the dark room of trouble, because God does his best work in dark spaces. What do you mean? Go to Genesis and have a look. God brought beauty. God bought the universe. God bought the stars. God bought humanity. God brought everything that's in existence from what? From a dark place. There was darkness, and when God speaks in darkness, light has to come out.

Speaker 2:

Isn't it interesting that it was the Bible says in Genesis, chapter one. Read what it says and darkness was everywhere, but the spirit of God was there. God was there. Jesus was there. God did not create Jesus. Jesus did not create God. The Holy Spirit did not create. They was all there. God did not create Jesus. Jesus did not create God. The Holy Spirit did not create. They was all there. They are a triune, they are joint. There is no one.

Speaker 2:

When you look at the scriptures, no one created anyone within the Godhead. They have always been in existence beyond the human noggin, beyond the mind, beyond the concept of life, beyond science, beyond the test tube of life, beyond human physics. God always was, jesus always was. The Holy Spirit, always was. Don't listen to the Muslims that are trying to tell you that God created Jesus. That is not fact. That is a lie from Lucifer. Let me tell you that Jesus Christ is the King of the Jews, jesus Christ is the creator of heaven and earth and Jesus Christ has anointed you through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Speaker 2:

So never give up in your dream. Never allow your culture, never allow your friends, never allow your husband, your wife, your brother, your sister, your pastor, the chaplains in your life. Never allow humanity stop you getting to your destination. Never allow anyone to stop you. Make sure you got people in your life that will pick up the mat when you're laid down and tired and exhausted. Who is helping you in your life right now? Who is encouraging you right now to get to the cross. Who is encouraging you right now? Never give up. Who is encouraging you right now? Have you got a friendship group that is taking you to Jesus? Or have you got a friendship group that is taking you to Jesus? Or have you got a friendship group that is taking you to the devil's playground? I'd rather stand alone than not have anyone in my life that is taking me to the devil's playground. I want people in my life when I'm tired and exhausted, weary and fearful and doubtful, and when I'm on the bed of life, knowing that there might be one that is going to say Ben, I'm going to get you to Jesus through prayer. Don't worry, son, I'm praying for you. Don't worry, brother or sister, I'm praying for you.

Speaker 2:

It's no good going with the crowd because the crowd won't get you to where you got to go. It's very interesting. The other night we was in the New Testament. We were talking about the garden of Gethsemane. You know Jesus. Jesus was in that solitary place and he took three with him, three and they sat on the fringe of the garden. Let me tell you very clearly there are people in your life knowing that you've gone to the olive grove, the olive press, the place of the press. There's nowhere finer than being in a pressing place with God. You don't want to be in the crowd. You want to be alone with God and be impressed, because when you go through the refiner's fire, oh my good God, you can stand alone when no one is shouting your name. You don't need a crowd around you. You need to realize who you are. In your vision and in your dream, so Joseph goes and tells his story. Vision and in your dream, so Joseph goes and tells his story. Brothers, I've got to tell you I've had a vision and I've had a dream, and when they realize that Joseph is about to be accelerated, they hate him all the more. Let me tell you something else. It's good to have haters in your life, because when you got haters and you got dogs barking at your feet, wearing you down, you know that Jesus has a plan for you. If you got people around you that are blowing smoke up your chimney all day and patting you on the back, be careful. There's a different agenda. Now.

Speaker 2:

What I find absolutely fascinating in the scripture is that we come back to King David. A moment. Let's come back to King David and Saul now. Saul loved David, the shepherd boy, king David. All the time Saul was in control of David. People love you all the time to a degree. Now it's a strange love.

Speaker 2:

Now there is many areas and many facets and many ways that you can look at love. Who loves you in your life? Who is in your life that truly loves you? You can say it, but actions speak louder than words. So this is where social media comes in the devil's playground. Don't pay any attention to those that are bigging you up or sending you a heart or doing this or doing that. It's not actually real. What you need are real human beings in your life that you know who is for you when you're laying on the mat of trouble and who picks up the corner with you.

Speaker 2:

Oh my God, I've laid down more times than I can count and I've almost had to say is there anybody out there? Is there anybody out there? Because I'm paralyzed with fear. Is there anybody out there? I'm on my hello. Is anybody out there? I can't move, can someone? Isn't it interesting that family go and watch Netflix down the pub watching football, the pub watching football, even the church. Is there anybody in the church? Anyone here? I'm paralyzed. We pray for you, brother, we'll see you next week. I'm going to play golf. In the name of Jesus. It's Monday, it's me day off.

Speaker 2:

Words are cheap. Words are cheap. Actions are everything. Faith and actions go together.

Speaker 2:

So when you analyze people in your life, are they for you? When you're in trouble, oh God, who's with you now in your life? Joseph, joseph. He said brothers, I've got to tell you my story. This is what I see. Just because there's blood running through the same vein doesn't mean to say they're going to put their arm around you and say, ben, let's do this. See, joseph's brothers sold him, beat him, threw him in a ditch, left him for dead, wasn't caring, wasn't bothered. Don't rely on your family. He didn't say that across the airways, did he? Don't rely on your family, don't rely on your work colleagues. Don't rely on people in your life, because words are cheap. The way people speak to you respectfully and what people do for you tells you the story of the person, the way people treat you, the way people help you, the way people stretch out. It's no, don't take any notice of those stretching out an arm on Facebook. Don't worry, brother, I'll pray for you and you see a couple of prayer hands go up. They're not bothered, they're not worried about you. You know and you can measure people when it's like this.

Speaker 2:

I'm on the mat of trouble. Who's come to me front door? I can't hear the ring doorbell. There's no one on the ring doorbell. Maybe they're running late because they all love me on social media. They all love me on my TikTok account, they love me on Facebook, they love me on my Insta, they love me in church, but I can't see anyone on my ring doorbell. Maybe the battery's gone. I'm going to have to charge it because everybody loves me and I need some help right now. And please will you help me right now, and please will you help me. Nothing on my ring doorbell. No one's walking down my drive. No one's coming to give me a loaf of bread. No one's coming to help me when I'm unwell. No one's taking the kids to school. No one's helping with a tenner. I've got no money. Wouldn't that be an interesting exercise? Put it on your social network. Can someone come and fill my petrol, my car up, because I've got no fuel Silence. There'll be no one on your ring doorbell. Make sure you've got people around you and they will help you in your time of trouble.

Speaker 2:

Now there's so much to this text that we're in Now coming back to Joseph, and in a moment we'll go to King David and we'll go to Saul. I spoke about jealousy. Jealousy is a very dangerous thing in the world. People get very jealous about you and they hide it in such a way. Well, they'll keep you at a distance because they're controlling you Because if I allow that person to rise in this church, they could supersede me, they could be elevated more. But this is my church, this is my ministry. I built this. If you're listening to anyone and they say I built this, get your bag, get out of the church, because that's an iChurch. That is a dangerous place to be.

Speaker 2:

Find yourself somewhere where they're reading the Word of God, where they're radical in prayer, where they're trusting in Jesus for the Scripture, where they've got no money in their pocket but they've got so much faith that God is going to raise the dead, that God is going to raise the sick, that God is going to put food on the table. Because, let me tell you this, your friends, your family, your Facebook people, your social network group, all those on your WhatsApp, are not going to feed you. Let's get it right tonight, in the name of Jesus, let's not hide it away in the cupboard. Oh, yeah, I've got 150 people sending me hearts tonight. Yeah, I've got this, I've got that. Oh, people love me. Blah, blah, blah. Let me tell you this Watch who you share your story to and then you'll really find people. And also, that's so true about the man on the mat. He could not move but he needed Jesus. How many times you've been on the mat and you need to get to Jesus and no one has shown up on your ring doorbell. But they love you on the socials when you're in church. It's lovely to see you today. Oh, it's great. Oh, hallelujah.

Speaker 2:

What's your week been like? It's been amazing. I'm blessed and highly favoured. You know God has been moving so powerfully.

Speaker 2:

Well, hello Jesus, have you been furloughed? My week has been hell. Isn't it interesting? We have to bounce into church like Tigger, holy Tiggers Bounce, bounce, bounce. White teeth smiling, hallelujah. We love Jesus. We've had a powerful week.

Speaker 2:

Oh, I'm blessed and highly favoured. Wonderfully and fearfully made, I'm healed. The rhythm of life is good, but behind the teeth, god help me. I've been suicidal. I've been fearful. I ain't got a pound in my pocket. I'm frightened to go on my bank app because it's going to tell me it's coming to arrest me because I ain't got enough money.

Speaker 2:

But in church everyone loves you. But when you got trouble at your door, they're gone. But when you rise, let me tell you this when you rise, jealousy comes in and all the rats come out of the sewer. Watch out for the rats that have hidden in the sewer, because the rats will come out when they start to see you are anointed. What do you mean? So we had one big rat and his name was King Saul. King Saul and David. King Saul loved David all the time he could control him as a child, david and Jonathan, great friends, great pals, being lifted and raised in an amazing setting. But when King Saul started to see that David had an anointing, saul got what he got. Happy, I'm so pleased. David is going to do greater things than I. David is going to take over Israel. He went crackers. Take over Israel, he went crackers.

Speaker 2:

There are people in your life that are going crackers right now because now you're rising. You're rising in anointing, but you don't realize you're rising. That's the power of God, because God raises you in the stipend. God raises you and anoints you in the dark areas of life, because God rescues you when you get so low, so down. It's when you're down and busted and broken and there are no people on your ring doorbell. It's just you yourself and you and you're crying out. Why don't no one hear? Where is everybody in my life? Be careful who picked your corner of your bed up when you're tired? Where are your friends taking you? Are they taking you to church? Are they taking you to the cross, or are they taking you to the devil's playground?

Speaker 2:

It's very important that you analyze the people that get hold of the corners of your life, because when they pick you up, they are in charge of your destiny. So the people that carry you are going to carry you somewhere, of course, but where they carry you might not be the place that you should be at. So, the people in your life when you're tired and weary and you have no fight left in you, you get carried. Because it only takes four. Because it only takes four. See, it only takes four to carry you Very small. Are they carrying you to the cross or are they carrying you to a different destination?

Speaker 2:

We've got to be extremely careful of the people in our lives. Don't get caught by the plastic people. Don't get caught by your family. Don't get caught by the king's souls in your life. Don't get caught by people that have a different plan for you than what God has. Don't share your vision. It's critical and it says very clearly we're coming to the table, we've got 11 minutes and we're going to disappear in a puff of smoke. We've got 11 minutes and the camera will go off. It's critical that I understand verse 5 of Joseph's story in Genesis, chapter 37. Joseph had a dream and I'm not talking about Jason Donovan when he done the West End show, because he had a few more things than a dream, that's for sure. Joseph had a dream and when he told his brothers, they hated him all the more.

Speaker 2:

Be careful of the people in your life, of the people in your life, and actually people see that you are gifted before you realize who you are. That's very, very interesting. That people see you as a threat Very interesting, isn't it? We're coming to the table in just a few moments. See, when you realize who you are, when you realize that you are a Jesus follower, when you realize that the King is in your life, when you realize that the power of the Holy Spirit is over. You make sure that you are very careful who you share your vision and your dream with. You've got to be extremely careful who you share your vision and your dream with. You've got to be extremely careful who you talk to, who you pray with, who you minister with, who you walk with, who you go to church with, who you work with, who you socialize with. Your whole life needs to be coming under the checkpoint of the Holy Spirit. Every area of our life needs to come under the checkpoint of the Holy Ghost. I need to encourage you tonight to make sure that the people in your life are taking you to Jesus, taking you to Jesus. Are they supporting you in your calling? Are they supporting you in your life? Are they supporting you as a Christian? Are they supporting you as your life? Are they supporting you as a Christian? Are they supporting you as a man and a woman? Are the people supporting you in your life? Because when Joseph said I've got a dream, the family hated him even more when David started to rise in anointing.

Speaker 2:

Isn't it interesting that where did David rise in the story of his life? David was strengthened in the battlefield and King Saul saw that David was victorious in the battle of life. The battle of life is where God anoints you and strengthens you and encourages you. Not in the palace, sitting in the throne, not in the pulpit, but in the thick of life. God strengthened and God protected David when the enemy was coming at him. And King Saul saw hang on a minute.

Speaker 2:

The rest of these people around us are telling me that David is more victorious than me and from that point onwards, king Saul got very jealous of David. There are people in your life that are jealous of you. There are people in your life that are jealous of you. There are people in your life that want to stab you in the back. What do you mean? That's a bit strong. Now. There was a few opportunities when Saul tried to get David and stab him with a spear in the back, but David got wise to King Saul's antics.

Speaker 2:

Get wise to your friends in your life. Get wise to your family. Get wise to the people in your life, because when they start to see you rise out of the ashes of the fire of the battlefield, they will want to stab you in the back. You know the saying they stabbed me in the back. Where did it come from? It come from scripture. It come from King Saul and David, and it says that David got out the way. It's time for us to get out of the way of certain people in our lives. You've got to be wise and strong and to say I'm leaving this arena. Saul wanted to kill David. That's what jealousy does. Watch who picks your mat up and carries you Again.

Speaker 2:

Let's reiterate, before we come to the table when are people taking you tonight? Are they taking you to the cross, or are they taking you to the cross or are they taking you to the devil's playground? Have you got people like king saul in your life that are watching you rise out of the battlefield and now they want to try to destroy you? It's a strong one tonight. Brothers and sisters, let's get to the table.

Speaker 2:

Father, in the name of Jesus, help me to be wise. Who I tell my story to. Help me be wise to who I tell what is happening in my life. Help me to be Wise, strong. Help me to stand alone. I'd rather stand alone Than stand in a crowd of fake people. I'd rather stand alone and stand with God and know that God has got my back and the Holy Spirit is with me and Jesus is leading me than stand in a crowd of rats.

Speaker 2:

Have you got rats in your life? Let me put it scripturally have you got the foxes and the dogs that are biting your ankles, wearing you down? Have you got the rats? The long towels as we know them? There's a few long towels in my life. There's a few dogs in my life. There's a few fox towels in my life. There's a few dogs in my life. There's a few foxes in my life. There are a few people with axes waiting to swing them, because when they start to see that you are rising like an eagle out of the ashes of life, they want to clip your wings out of the ashes of life. They want to clip your wings. Let me tell you, there are people in your life that want to stop you from soaring like an eagle. Get out of their way and be a Jesus follower.

Speaker 2:

Father, as we come to the breaking of bread. We've got four minutes and we're out. Father, we thank you for this time together and, lord, I pray for everybody. Lord 25,000, wherever they're scattered us in the house, everyone online, radio across the globe tonight. Lord, I want to thank you for everyone that is before me, for the sound of audio. But I pray, lord, that you will keep them wise and you will remove the rats, the witches, the warlocks, the devils out of their lives, the fake people, the ones that are not bothered about them, that actually, when they're on the mat of trouble, they laugh and they kick them even more.

Speaker 2:

Spirit of the living God, put people in our lives that will carry us to Jesus. Because it's the only place I got to get is to the presence of the king. Outside of the father's house there is trouble. There's a story out there, a biblical fact called the prodigal son, and he left the father's house and he had trouble outside the father's house. I believe we've all got to get running back to the father's house Because we're all prodigals. We're all prodigals A bit harsh. So, lord, I want to get back to the Father's house. I want to get back to the Father's house. I want to get back into the depth of the presence of Jesus and, as we break bread, bless this bread in the name of Jesus, amen.

Speaker 2:

Sisters and brothers, let's take this cup. Lord, I thank you for this cup because it symbolizes the redemption cup and you are and I am redeemed, spirit of the living. God bless Israel, save Palestine, the Middle East. Let them know that Jesus Christ is the King above all kings. But as we take this cup, the redemption cup, cleanse me a sinner saved by grace, wash me in the blood of Jesus. But, lord, get me back to the Father's house. Cover me in the blood In Jesus' name. Amen.

Speaker 2:

Sisters and brothers, wherever you are scattered across the Malteser, known as the earth, don't get your feet stuck in the chocolate of life. Brother and sister, wherever you are, I pray as you walk across the Malteser, you rise on wings as of eagles. I pray that people in your life that are for you will strengthen you, and I pray that all of us will become wise, godly men and godly women, that we know who we are, because there's nothing more powerful than someone Knowing who they are In Jesus Christ. May God bless you and strengthen you. Thank you for joining us across the world this evening. May the Holy Spirit lead you, may the word of God strengthen you. May the God of Israel, the God of Israel, rise you up and carry you tonight, because never, ever forget, be careful who you share your dream with. May God bless you and carry you In the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
