Authentic Worship vs Cultural Compromise: A Wake-Up Call with Reverend Ben Cooper

What happens when worldly rhythms infiltrate our worship? In this powerful and timely episode of Christian Straight Talk, Reverend Ben Cooper strips away the layers of compromise and emotionalism in modern Christian culture to reveal the true heart of worship—Scripture, prayer, and spiritual breakthrough.

Reverend Ben opens with a bold question: Have we allowed the culture of the world to dictate the sound of the church? He challenges what he calls the “weak, woke, and worldly” direction of today’s worship music, warning that many songs now reflect secular patterns more than they do the sacred power of the Holy Spirit. While emotional highs are common, Cooper explains, genuine breakthrough is rare without the Word of God anchoring our worship.

Drawing from Acts 16, Cooper unpacks the story of Paul and Silas singing Psalms in prison, demonstrating how Scripture-based worship carries a unique spiritual authority. He urges believers to rediscover the power of daily prayers rooted in the Psalms—especially Psalm 23—which he claims can accomplish more in spiritual warfare than many popular worship songs ever could. “If you want breakthrough, prayer starts—and from prayer, worship flows,” he declares with conviction.

This message isn’t about style—it’s about spiritual depth. Reverend Ben walks listeners through Romans 15:13, emphasizing that true joy and peace come from the God of hope, not from fleeting emotional moments. He addresses the inner conflict that so many believers face today—faith vs. fear—and uses the vivid imagery of “two boxers in the ring” to describe the intensity of the spiritual battle within.

One of the most powerful moments in this episode is his reflection on the woman with the issue of blood from Luke 8. Using this story as a metaphor, Cooper asks: Are you willing to get low, to fight through the crowd, to get on your hands and knees if that's what it takes to reach Jesus? In a world filled with noise, distraction, and crowd-driven Christianity, this call to personal pursuit of Christ is both challenging and deeply liberating.

Reverend Ben Cooper’s message is clear: It's time for the church to move beyond surface-level worship and reclaim its spiritual authority through prayer, Scripture, and Holy Spirit-led worship. This episode will challenge your view of what worship is, stir your spiritual hunger, and equip you to stand firm in an age of compromise.

Speaker 2:

Let's get in the word. Let's worship through worship and worship and worship alone. We gotta worship him through prayer. That's the only only way. It isn't music, it's prayer. As our brother said, it is the power of prayer that will shake the gates of hell. It isn't worship. Why isn't it worship? Because today's worship is very weak and very woke and very worldly. It is the same drum beat. It's the same rhythm beat. It's the same rhythm. It has the same rhythm as what the world is doing. So when you worship, we're not really worshiping the God of Israel. We're just singing the happy vibes and it's just, it's just scratching the emotion. But when you really worship, what did Paul and Silas had? Paul and Silas had nothing that. They had nothing but the Old Testament. They had the Psalms. So when Paul and Silas see freedom, they wasn't singing the latest music that is out today. They were singing the Psalms. They were singing the Psalms. That's what they sang Psalm 23, psalm 91.

Speaker 2:

If you want freedom, you won't find it in the weak, woke, secular worship that's out. There. You'll find a feel-good factor, you'll find a drumbeat that will keep you tapping your feet for a while. But if you are looking for freedom. Freedom comes through prayer, and prayer takes you to worship. And what is true worship? You won't find a secular Christian song in my book. What you'll find is the Psalms. You won't find a celebrity artist that he ain't even got his name in there. So why would I expect secular, worldly weak Christian songs to set me free? They'll take me to a place called euphoria, a place called escapism, a place known as emotions, the feel-good factor. But if I want breakthrough, prayer starts and as I start to pray, suddenly I start to worship, because I worship through Scripture, I worship through the Word, I pray through the word. That is the greatest hymn book. That is the greatest rhythm the world has ever known. So if you're with me, let's turn to the word of God. We're going to turn to the book of Romans, chapter 15, verse 13.

Speaker 2:

We are living in powerful times and we've got to be careful what we sing, what we sing and what rhythm we get in. We've got to be careful what music we listen to. We've got to be careful of the lyrics of music. We've got to be careful of the lyrics of life. We've got to be careful of the words of people around us. Words will draw you to a certain place. We've got to be careful of words. Words are powerful.

Speaker 2:

Music is powerful, worship there is only one way to worship and that is to get in prayer. When you pray and you start, if you take Psalm 23, I will guarantee you my life. If you took Psalm 23 for the rest of our days on earth and you put that to prayer and to worship, I'm telling you now, the devils will back off. If we pick up the weak, woke music that we're all vulnerable to listen to and to play because I do that myself. If I just play that, I'm just going to get a feel-good factor. I'm going to tap my feet for a little while. But if I want to see satanic chains broken, if I want to see devils flee, if I want to see healings, if I want to see miracles beyond human understanding, it's no good me getting in cultural, worldly rhythm and the drumbeat of what the cultural music is doing, because that music is the same rhythm, the same drum beat, secularized and in the world of what we call church. If I want to see chains broken, the only way I'm going to see chains broken is through Psalm 23.

Speaker 2:

Take Psalm 23, put that to voice, put that to prayer. Let me tell you now. Let me tell you the word of God. God doesn't need any Christian band, god doesn't need any Christian artists to get us into the rhythm of the Holy Spirit, because the let's be truthful the majority of Christian music in church doesn't take us to the Holy Spirit. It doesn't even take us to the cross. It doesn't even take us to the scripture. It takes us to the worship band. It takes us to the pastor that wrote the music. It takes us to the rhythm of that business. It doesn't take us to the cross. It seems to think it takes us to the cross, but it doesn't take us to the cross, because what takes us to the cross? The only way that we get to the cross, is through the scripture, and God is the God of hope.

Speaker 2:

If you are looking for hope today, let me tell you this you'll find great euphoria and a great rhythm in secularized music and Christian music, but you won't find the satanic break that you need in your life. You won't find that power that is needed, because the rhythm and the drum beat and the bass line and everything you look at Lucifer. What was Lucifer? He was the greatest musician the world has ever seen. He was put in charge of heaven's rhythm and Lucifer is in charge of the world's music. Let me tell you that loud and clear Whether it's secularized Christian music, whether it's whatever it is, he is in charge of all that music. But there's one lot of music. He's not in charge of the psalms, because the psalms are worship music, this book of God.

Speaker 2:

If you are looking for breakthrough, you can sing along to all the stuff, don't we? We all do it, we all listen to it. But if you want the breakthrough, if you want, if you are crying out for healing, if you are crying out for a miracle, psalm 23 to your own rhythm, your own voice. You don't need the backing instruments of anything else, and you get that word and you pray that word and you speak that word and you sing Psalm 23,. The devils will run. There's more devils in worship bands playing guitars than we've ever seen in the world of church. We have devils pretending to worship God. We have false worshippers. The Bible says watch out for the false worshipers. They are right across the board of secularized, woke Christianity.

Speaker 2:

You can go to mega churches and you will find very clearly, the music will get you in a euphoria. Why does it do that? Because when you're in a crowd and the music starts, and the rhythm of music gets you to a place of euphoria, it gets you to a place of what you might call freedom through emotions. But emotions won't set you free. Emotions can't set you free. The only way freedom comes is through the power of the Holy Spirit. The only way freedom comes is through the truth. You will know the truth and the truth will set you free. Music gets you into an emotional rhythm wherever you are. Psalms are so powerful. Psalms will bring a freedom that is beyond human understanding. Psalms will get you to a place where you will see every satanic chain broken. You know, we've got to be careful of the music we listen to, the bands, the stuff that we listen to across the board, whether that's called Christian radio, whether that's secular radio, because it will take you to a place.

Speaker 2:

But if you are looking for hope and that's what this scripture is on this morning it can only be found in the God of Israel, and the God of Israel is in this book called the Bible. So let's read these scriptures. Let's read these scriptures. We'll be breaking bread in a short while. We'll be coming to the table and we are in the book of Romans, chapter 15, verse 13. May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. The power of the Holy Spirit, oh my God, lord, I want more of your Holy Spirit. When you look at that, romans 15, romans 15, verse 13,.

Speaker 2:

For those that are online with us, for those that are in the house, it is critical that we get a Bible. It is critical that we get a Bible and we stop singing the secular stuff that's out there in church, out of church, around church, and we start singing the word of God, because we are living in a nation that has lost hope. We are like a vessel, a ship that is at sea, and we are being battered like we've never been battered before. We are far out on the ocean of life. Homes are being battered, human beings are being battered, culture is being battered. Finances every area ofomes are being battered. Human beings are being battered, culture's being battered, finances every area of life is being battered. And we are at sea. We have no sows, we have no way to paddle our way. We are literally being tossed to the left, to the right, knocked to the left, to the right by the storm and the activity.

Speaker 2:

What is happening around this nation. We are in trouble in this nation if you are not born again. If you're not born again, there's trouble. But if you're born again, you will sense and you will pick up. There is something that is not right. We have lost hope. We have lost hope. It is like that great, powerful biblical text. When Paul was on the Adriatic Sea, 14 days, 14 nights, they was at sea. All hope had been lost. All hope had been lost.

Speaker 2:

Don't get fooled by the sun coming out and everything going on around. Don't get fooled by the facade that the devil puts on and everything that's happening around you. Don't get fooled by those fake name it and claim it, the fake people on social media. Don't get caught by the plastic people on social media because when the cameras click the picture, they're depressed as anybody behind that. Don't get caught by what they're doing. Don't take notice of what's going on. Don't take notice on the other side of the world.

Speaker 2:

Get yourself in the word of God, because the Bible says may the God of hope. There's no hope in nothing else, you will find hope. And when you find hope, it is the hardest thing anyone will ever do right now is to be a Jesus follower, to follow Jesus. In the UK we are swimming against the tide of the crowd of life. If you tell the world that I'm a Jesus follower, if you tell the world that I'm a Bible-believing, spirit-filled, blessed and highly favoured, if you tell the world that I believe in miracles, if you tell the culture around you that you are a Jesus follower yes, I believe in creation of culture around you, that you are a Jesus follower. Yes, I believe in creation. I believe that God said let there be, and there was. And six days, and on the seventh day he rested. I am a six day creationist. I believe in creation, I believe in the fundamental points of the word of God and I have hope.

Speaker 2:

But in my mind there's no hope, in my body there's no hope Because my body is attracted and what I mean by that is to what the world is doing through emotions and through lives, because what we see through our eye gate and our ear gate, it comes in and it feeds us and it causes chaos. With what? With our faith? Faith and fear, they wrestle. They're like two boxers in the arena knocking seven bells out of each other all day Faith as a punch, fear as a punch. It's like sometimes there's two of me.

Speaker 2:

I'm wrestling myself, I'm wrestling with faith and then I'm wrestling with fear. I'm wrestling with doubt, I'm wrestling with hope, and I'm in the boxing arena putting on a fight and I'm fighting all this stuff. There's no one else around me, but I'm fighting my mind. I'm fighting the battlefield of the mind. I'm fighting this place because what goes in through my eyes feeds my autonomy, my physicality. What goes in through my eyes and what I hear feeds myself. So if I watch Eastenders, I'll become like an Eastender. If I watch social media, I'll become so depressed I'll just want to cut my fingers off. If I allow myself to become someone that is trapped in social media, I will become depressed, I will become so scared of life and I will be so addicted to social media. It will be one of the hardest things to break in your life, more than alcohol, more than drugs, because we are looking. So there are many addictions that the devil puts on the table Social media, the celebrity church is attractive, but it's empty because it doesn't lack the word of God, find yourself.

Speaker 2:

Find yourself a Bible. You don't need church. Let me tell you, you don't need church. You don't need the building. You don't certainly don't need me in your life. What you need is Jesus Christ. You need the Lord and the savior. You need the king of kings, the king of the Jews. Let's tell the Palestinians he is the king of the Jews, not the king of the Palestinians. He is the king of the Jews, not the king of the Palestinians. Let's tell the world that he is the savior of the world.

Speaker 2:

Don't be frightened to tell the world that I stand. I stand with the biblical Israel. I don't stand with any political party. I don't even bother voting anymore. I'm not interested in any political party, because you can go and vote whoever you want to vote for, and they're not going to change your life, that's for sure. They're not going to put another pound in your pocket. They're going to rob your pension and charge you more for driving your own car. So what is the point of voting? The king is coming. I ain't got to vote for no one. There's no point in voting.

Speaker 2:

We are a nation that has fed lie after lie after lie. Mr Cooper, I'm from this party. I've just come and I want to tell you that if you vote for me, I'm going to give you more money. If you vote for me, I promise I will help you. Don't keep lying to me. I'm tired of lies. The father of lies is right in the heart of politics. The father of lies is right in the heart of music. The father of lies is right in the heart of the devil's playground, which is the devil owns social media. He owns YouTube, tiktok, he has such an influence on Facebook. The devil owns them territories and we got Christians looking for a way out, a way, a way forward through social media, through the celebrity church, through this, through that, through business, through life. And God is saying I am the way, the truth and the life.

Speaker 2:

You have no hope because you're looking for hope that is temporal and fleeting in a fake world. It is a flaky world that we have, a flaky world that has no hope, that has no power. But we get into these situations and we think for one minute. It's an adrenaline rush and it's feeding the adrenaline and it's feeding the body, it's feeding the mind, but it's not feeding the soul, because there is only something that can feed the soul, and that is the word of God. So we are in a land that has no hope.

Speaker 2:

And I'm not being negative, I'm not being doubtful. I'm just putting it across the table today that if you are lacking hope, pick up the word of God. You won't find hope in music. You won't find hope in church. You won't find hope in me. You won't find hope in Elim. You won't find hope in any denomination. You won't find hope in Elim. You won't find hope in any denomination. You won't find hope in social media. You'll find hope in the God of Israel, because that's what the Bible says. May the God of hope fill you with all what Joy. See.

Speaker 2:

When you seek the God of Israel, you get certain things that come along when you really seek the God of Israel, really seek God. But there is something interesting the more you seek, the more you seek, the more you press in, the more harder it becomes, the more it feels like God is just drawing the zip bag, the sleeping bag. He's making it even tighter to get to him Because the satanic activity heightens around you. The devils around you try to lead you astray from what God is doing. The more you want God, the more you want peace, the more you want the Holy Spirit, the more you want to see the power, the more the want the Holy Spirit, the more you want to see the power, the more the battle becomes. The more you seek him, the more you look for him, the more you ask, the more you pray, it gets quieter and quieter and quieter. Why God? Because the just shall live by faith.

Speaker 2:

I pray the prayer, I believe the prayer, I release the prayer and I say yes, god. The answer the Bible says you have not, because you ask not. So we are asking, we are asking all day long. Asking is fruit of power of communication. So when we are asking, we are asking in a worldly way. We are asking and we talk in a very worldly way. We have a world language within us and when we speak, we speak the world's language. Maybe it's not you, maybe it's just me, maybe it's just me that I've adopted a way of speaking the way culture does, the way the world does, the situations around me. I speak according to what is around me and I speak according to what the world is doing. So when I speak those words, I'm speaking the devil's words. But when I speak the word of God. When I speak the word of God, I say Father, in the name of Jesus, I'm healed. Father, I'm in the name of Jesus, lord, I'm healed. But, lord, I've still got the pain. But, lord, I believe there's breakthrough.

Speaker 2:

Lord, I take Psalm 23,. Lord, I turn everything off and I just sing Psalm 23. The Lord is my shepherd. I shall not be in one. He makes me lie down in green parts. Lord, you're making me lie down today. What does that tell you? He's saying rest. He's telling you to rest.

Speaker 2:

Lord, I'm going through the valley of the shadow of death right now, lord, and I'm walking in the power of the anointing Lord. The enemy is all around me. Fires are breaking out all around me, lord, everything. Hand grenades are going off, bullets are going off, axes are being thrown at me back. Lord, I've got people backstabbing me everywhere. Lord, I've got this happening, that happening. Work don't want me, family don't want me, Nobody loves me. Lord, it's all breaking out, but right now I walk through the valley of the shadow of death and right now I hear and I fear no evil. I'm not going to hear what the world is telling me. I know who I am, because what's happened is.

Speaker 2:

The government has crushed our identity. The system is crushing our identity. Culture certainly has crushed identity. Church has crushed our identity. Culture certainly has crushed identity. Church has crushed our identity. Religion we have lost who we really are, because when we come away when I say we, I'm talking about the church and the leaders when the leaders take us away from the scripture, we lose our identity in God. We need to know who we are in God to be able to walk through the valley of the shadow of death. Then I will fear no evil because you are with me and I know the you.

Speaker 2:

So suddenly I've got the God of all hope. I've got the God of Israel, as the book is written in Romans. May the God of hope fill you with all joy. Do you want to be filled with joy today? Do you want to be filled with peace today? Do you want to be filled with hope today? There is only one way, and his name is God. He's Yahweh, jehovah Jireh, jehovah Nissi, jehovah Shalom. He is the great I am. He is the God that put the stars in the heaven. He is the God that created the uncountable fish under the sea. He is the God that knows every molecule that the world is having around us now. He is the air that we breathe, he is the skin that you walk in, he is everything. He is El Shaddai, jehovah Jireh, jehovah Nissi. He is the God of Israel and Israel will stand. Every other nation has fallen time and time and time again. Nations have changed their names. Nations have changed their names, but Israel will stand.

Speaker 2:

Sisters and brothers, it's a time now to tell the world around you, however scary it may be, I stand with the biblical Israel. However scary it may be, to tell the world around you I am a born again believer. Be careful of the word Christianity. Be careful of the word Christian, because it's been taken by the pink brigade. Be careful of the word Christianity. Be careful of the word Christian, because it's been taken by the pink brigade. Be careful of the word Christian it's taken by the weak social media brigade that are putting half scripture, half truth online, that are not really telling the truth behind the real understanding of the word. Be careful, don't follow the weak side.

Speaker 2:

Be careful of telling the world that I am a Christian. It did mean Christ in me, but it's been taken and it's been used and manipulated by the church. And just because people say I'm a Christian doesn't mean to say you're a born again, because being born again means that christ is in you. So the best way and you won't find that on a government form um, I find uh, muslim seek, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, christian. I won't even put my name next to a christian because that could make me weak, pink and woke. What needs to be on the government forms is born again, because when you tell the world you're born again, when you tell the world you're born from above. When you tell the world you're born again, you suddenly get a label on you you're a Jesus follower, but you can call yourself a Christian and go to a pink church.

Speaker 2:

As we are very aware, that has been taken off their social media. A church was having a transvestite not too far away from this church. It was all over social media. I see it myself in a certain church and the church is named after a certain disciple, but I wouldn't tell you it was Peter, would I? I wouldn't tell you it was St Peter. Is St Peter what? I'm not quite sure. But, brothers and sisters, we've got to be careful we can't be found in certain areas of church, because they will take you down a pink road. They will take you down a woke road. I've got to tell the world, I've got to stand on the word, because there's no hope nowhere else. There's no hope nowhere else. There's hope in the power of God.

Speaker 2:

And was it last weekend, or the weekend before, as I mentioned, that Antichrist? We had an Antichrist at Glastonbury. We all know the story. The Antichrist took centre stage and he got the crowd singing the rhythm. Don't sing the rhythm of the Muppet on the stage. Don't sing the rhythm of the Antichrist on the stage. Do not allow yourself to be trapped into the rhythm of the crowd.

Speaker 2:

We are at critical days and the UK has lost its voice. There is a two-tier system, actually three, four. There's more tiers than you will ever count in the system of government. So if you are a Christian, no wonder it feels like hope has gone. If you are a believer, no wonder it feels like hope is gone. If you are a believer, no wonder it feels like hope is gone. If you are a born again Christian. It's time to stand.

Speaker 2:

We have Antichrist taking the stages every weekend, in sporting arenas, in churches, in festivals, in social media. We have Antichrist all around us and we are going. Many people will sing the drumbeat what comes from center stage. Isn't it interesting what the Bible says about the end times? There'll be many forerunners of the Antichrist and we are watching them every weekend pop up in so many places and the rhythm is following the rhythm of the Antichrist.

Speaker 2:

Be careful what you sing, be careful you watch, be careful you follow, because it will take you to a place called hell. Hell is waiting for so many people. The flames are there, the lake of sulfur. Imagine what that must be like A lake of burning sulfur where a human being is forever tortured, beyond forever. The pain is not comprehensible. Yeah, whatever, the pain is beyond human understanding, beyond the mind, beyond the thinking. I've got to get to heaven. I've got to make sure the world knows. I've got to let the world know that I'm not a Christian because that world has been used too loosely. I am a born-again follower of the God of Israel.

Speaker 2:

So when you put your name next to the tick box that says Christian, thank you for joining the weak and the pink brigade. Thank you for lifting the rainbow flag. Thank you, we identify you. Is that you will allow God's word to be mocked? God's word is being mocked through church. It is being mocked through preaching. It is being mocked through music, through business, through radio. And the Bible says I am a jealous God and I will not be mocked and I will not be mocked. Vengeance is mine, sayeth the Lord. Oh my God, help me. Jesus, you know we are looking at the word hope, and hope is so powerful. Hope is so powerful and I pray for each and every one of us today as we look at these scriptures. May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace. Have you got peace today? I haven't. I'm desperate for peace. Are you desperate for peace? We put in the false church teeth, don't we? Yes, brother, yes, sister, hallelujah, I had a great week in the name of Jesus. The Lord's been good. Actually, the Lord's been quiet and the devil's been loud. Help me, jesus. Where are you, god? Where are you? I need you, god.

Speaker 2:

It takes faith, like radical faith right now. It takes faith beyond human understanding, because the Bible says in Hebrews 11, verse 1, now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Take that for a moment. Hebrews 11, verse 1. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, hope. We've just read about hope. Because God is the foundation. Because God is the foundation Now, faith is now. Faith is now. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, a hope for God. The evidence of things not seen. That's wacky, that's crazy.

Speaker 2:

That line in the Bible. When you think about that line, it's the evidence of things not seen. How can it be? God? The Bible says the just shall live by faith. We do not live by sight, but we are living in a world that feeds our sight, and our sight feeds our flesh. Our faith feeds our spirit. So how many times do we jump in the arena with oneself, fighting the fear me and fighting the faith me, wrestling and punching seven bells out of myself through my thoughts, through my thinking, thinking about things that ain't happened, that are not going to happen, that are never going to happen, wrestling with stuff in my head that ain't going to, never going to come near me Because the devil. I'm wrestling the devil Because he's fear, and then I'm trying to wrestle this faith stuff. God help me. Are you in the arena today? We're going to click out at 12.40 today. We're going to click out online at 12.40 today.

Speaker 2:

May God bless you and strengthen you, for those that are on radio, for those that are following us across whatever platforms we're on. May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust him. Is there anybody brave enough, anybody brave enough in the house, across the line of world? Well, I'll say it first. I struggle to trust you, god. Some days, god, I can't even find the energy to say I trust you God. Some days, god, I'll go a little, the energy to say I trust you God. Some days, god, I'll go a little bit further. But you know what I'm about to say, god, because you know the beginning from the end, the end from the beginning, lord.

Speaker 2:

Sometimes I say, god, are you real? I look up in the heavens above and I look around culture and life around me and I ask myself, god, where are you? Lord? I can't see you. But you tell me you're an invisible God. You tell me that you sit in an unapproachable light. No one can see God and live. He's faster than light itself. He sits outside of light. Light is held in his hands. He's bigger than we could ever imagine or ask. And then you go to the good book and you say that scripture that says I've got to ask to the God more than I can imagine or believe. That takes Hebrews 11, verse 1,.

Speaker 2:

When pain is riddled my body, when fear is riddled in my body, when doubt is riddled in my body, and I've got to pray. When I'm in pain, I've got to pray. When I'm in doubt, I've got to believe. When I can't believe, I've got to pray that I'm going to get stank to eat. When I ain't got a pound in the Monzo account, I've got to pray that I'm going to get home from work. I've got to actually jump and literally can't pay for me train fare home. So I'm literally going to jump under the barrier, get over it and, in the name of Jesus, god's going to get me home because I ain't got the money to pay me travel fare. I've got no money in the van, I've got no money in the car. I've got Lord, help me, jesus, lord help me.

Speaker 2:

Has anybody been brave enough to say, yeah, I've been there? I've been there, I'm there this morning. But there is something in my spirit that keeps coming back to Jesus. There is something in my body that keeps bringing me back to Jesus. It don't bring me back to church, because church is collapsing, church is finished, but the kingdom is forever. The kingdom is moving. The kingdom is all power. But we come to church.

Speaker 2:

You listen to me, ramble on and you try and get some hope. And you'll get no hope listening to me, but you'll have all hope in God. You'll have all hope in the word. You'll have everything in God. I won't get you nowhere. I can't get you nowhere. I'm no good for you, but God is good for you. God is good for you. The power of the word is good for you. You are in need of the word, I'm in need of the word. We need the word of God. The power of the word of God will strengthen you. The power of God will. The word of God will give you joy, will give you peace. And as you trust in him, god, I need to trust you more.

Speaker 2:

What about that great man? Because he was a great man in the word of God. He came out, that centurion, and he knew authority and he said my child is not good, the child is going to die. But I know you can. I know you can, hill, just say the word, but help me. What did he say? Help me in my unbelief. I love that man and I'm not gay, by the way. I love that man because he had the David Beckhams to say it. I know you can heal, but you've got to help me in my unbelief. He was a man of authority because he knew the power of word. He knew what words meant. He knew what it meant the power of word. So what we are surrounded with is the power of words. Our lives are like a washing machine of words. Our lives are words all the way. Well, our conversation, our prayer life, our worship, our speech, everything is about words.

Speaker 2:

And if I get in the crowd of bad words, I'm never going to find hope. I've got to get out of the crowd. I've got to maybe be a loner for a while. I've got to be like Jesus, go in the garden of Gethsemane and sweat droplets of blood and say I'm not leaving this place. I'm not leaving this place till these angels minister to me, because I've got to get back in hope, I've got to get back in trust. I've got to get back in faith. I've got to get back under the Father's voice, because when you come under the authority of the Father's voice, it does something to you. It gives you strength that you will rise on wings as of eagles. It will give you strength that you can run and not be faint. It will give you strength to know that you're not going to drown in the sea of life. It will give you strength in shallow water.

Speaker 2:

Shallow water is dangerous. When you look at the shipwreck that happened to Paul, you look the vessel. The Bible says the vessel was broken and they was filled with adrenaline. They was in survival mode. Don't be fooled by shallow water, because shallow water can take you out. You survive the waves, you survive the atrocity of the storm and then we like come off the gas. We come off the gas and then suddenly we were in shallow water and we trip over and we lay face down. That was the hardest part of the journey was getting from the crazy part of the storm. Why? Because they was exhausted. They was exhausted from the storm and what happens is we get exhausted from the storm but the water is shallow and I'm tired and I fell over. Be careful of shallow water. We survived the storm, but then our bodies are tired and we're weary and we're exhausted and we're just floating on the plank of life, just hoping.

Speaker 2:

Sisters and brothers, when I die, all I want on the stone, as if Jesus ain't taken me before, is this he told the world to follow Jesus. That's all I need, because you've got to follow Jesus. Let me tell you, you've got to follow Jesus. Don't follow me, don't follow Elym. Yeah, thanks for listening and thanks for watching, but it's so far down the scale of life. I thank you for your prayers and your support, but you've got to follow Jesus. It's Jesus, it's nothing else. It's got to be Jesus. Don't follow this church. Don't put your weight on me. Don't put your weight on the radio. Don't put your weight on the socials. Don't put your weight on any pastor. You've got to follow Jesus. He's coming, coming. Let me tell you he's coming back and you've got to be a Jesus follower.

Speaker 2:

You've got to be found in the scripture. You've got to be found different. You've got to be found so unique. You've got to be found so different that you stand out of the crowd. You've got to stand out of the crowd because the crowd look at that football, that football stadium, all them. Years ago, so many people died in the crowd and the crowd took them to a crushing experience and it caused havoc. The crowd will cause you havoc and the crowd is killing people right now Because it is carrying along people and your feet are not touching the floor and you're being carried along by the crowd and you're chanting to do what the the antichrist is doing, but you're being carried along by the crowd.

Speaker 2:

You're being carried along the crowd by media. You're being carried along the crowd by celebrity church and your feet are not touching the ground. You've got to put your feet on the rock. You've got to stand firm on the rock and you've got to follow Jesus. Don't follow the crowd. The crowd is killing people. The crowd of sports, the crowd of music, the crowd of life, the crowd of social media. Your feet are not touching the floor and you're being carried to a place you shouldn't be carried. You've got to stand on the rock. You've got to get on the rock. You've got to get on Jesus.

Speaker 2:

Whatever you do, we're coming to the table. Let's stand in the gap for those that are not with us today. Let's stand in the gap for the atheists. Let's stand in the gap for all those that are serving foreign gods, because he's going to come back. He's suddenly going to appear. You know, the signs are in the sky. The weather system alone is doing what the bible told us it was going to do at the last hour. The military is doing exactly what the Bible told us it would do. Governments are doing exactly what the Bible told us they would do. The church is doing exactly, but the kingdom is moving the Battle of Armageddon. Imagine what that's going to be like, the fiercest battle the world has ever seen.

Speaker 2:

When the spiritual forces become touchable. Have you noticed? There is a very strange feeling in the world. The Bible says in the last days, like treat the world as like a bubble. And it's like. Now the bubble is being penetrated. We're seeing things in the heavens. Certain governments are saying it's just unidentified. They're laboring it as et. Let me tell you this loud and clear the spiritual world is about to penetrate this bubble of a world like we've never seen before. You've got to be, I've got to be in the word. So, as we come to the table, if you are feeling that oppression, it's because the bubble is being pressed and the bubble is being touched from that satanic realm. So let's come to the table and pray, father, in the name of jesus, as we break bread and take it a cup, keep us away from the crowd, keep us away from the crowd that takes so many people to destruction and death when the crowd, when that happened and it's happened in many other places as well bones are broken, lives are taken, serious things happen when you're in the crowd and when you get caught in the crowd.

Speaker 2:

When you get caught in the crowd, it's one of the hardest things to escape because you're caught in the rhythm and there's such a volume all the way around you. There's such a volume all the way around you. Have you ever tried walking in the opposite direction of a crowd that is lying by light? It's almost impossible To get anywhere. You've almost got to get on your hands and knees and crawl and dodge the foot traffic, because if you stay up they'll carry you. But if you get low and get on the floor, doesn't that remind you of a biblical scripture?

Speaker 2:

The lady with the yishal of blood. She didn't look for Jesus above. She said, if I can get and touch the hem of his garment, because it takes a warrior to get on your hands and knees and crawl through the crowd. If you stay upright you're going to get carried along, but as you get down on your hands and knees you're in a form of worship and the worship will get you through the crowd, the worship will get you through. And when you touch the hem of his garment if I can just touch the hem he was surrounded by a crowd. Don't be fooled of the crowd that is around Jesus the celebrity crowd, the Facebook crowd, the fake church crowd.

Speaker 2:

To get to Jesus this day and age, this hour, will take everything you've got. You will have to get on your hands and your knees and you're going to have to crawl, because if you stand up, you're going to get caught by the pink, the woke, the weak, and that crowd, the crowd of the world, will carry you to a different Jesus, but the Jesus that I need. I've got to get on my hands and my knees and I've got to crawl to get. And I'm going to touch the hem and nothing's going to stop me. I've got to weave and I've got to bob through all the feet, all the foot traffic. I'm going to get to this Jesus and nothing's going to stop me. So, father, as we come to the table, we've got four minutes.

Speaker 2:

Father, as we come to the table, we break bread right now as brothers and sisters in Christ, and, father, we thank you for the body that was broken for us and bless this bread. As we take this now In Jesus' name, amen. As we take this now In Jesus' name, amen. Father, I thank you for the bread that symbolizes the body of Christ. I thank you, father, for this cup. Excuse me. The cup of redemption, the cup of redemption. I thank you for the cup of redemption, the cup of redemption. We're redeemed. We are redeemed. Let me tell you you're redeemed. I tell you now, you're redeemed. God's with you and he's never going to leave you. So let's take this right now. Father, will you cleanse me from the crown of my head to the sole of my feet, in the glorious name of Jesus Christ? I recognize this cup symbolizes the blood of redemption and thank you that I am cleansed in Jesus' name, amen.

Speaker 2:

Sisters and brothers, we thank you for your time in the house today. We thank you for everybody online today, for those that are online that support us. You got that. Come up in the corner. Thank you for supporting us with prayer. Thank you for everyone that supports us with prayer and a financial gift.

Speaker 2:

We are in need. We're always in need of prayer. We're always in need of prayer. Please, please, keep praying, keep praying, praying, praying, praying, keep praying, never give up praying, praying, praying, praying, keep praying, never give up praying. If you can, you know, just put some uh money through the bank. We do appreciate that. But god shall supply all our needs according to thy riches in glory. You know, and I pray for you right now, that god will strengthen you in these last days. I pray that god will strengthen you in these last days, whether you're on radio, whether you're in the house. God bless everyone in the house, everybody on the camera. God bless you wherever you are.

Speaker 2:

But now is the time to tell the world that I'm a born again believer.

Speaker 2:

I believe in the fundamental points of the word of god.

Speaker 2:

I don't understand it, because I'll never understand it, because it's god's word, but he reveals it to me. So, lord, as you reveal the word to us, lord, please, god, I just pray for everybody online, everybody in the house. Today. That hope will be so strong, that joy will be so strong, that peace will be so strong that we know our redeemer and we know our king. The king is with you. The king is with you. He's the king of the Jews, he's your Savior. Thank you for joining us across the world. May God bless you for the rest of the day. Whatever life looks like through your eyes. I pray that you will run to Jesus. You will run to the Word. The Word will be your first point, your second point all the way through, and Jesus will lead you to hope and to peace. Father, I thank you for timing your house today. Bless us as we click out, strengthen us as we lead and as we move forward in our lives. But, lord, rebuild, restore hope, put joy and peace in our lives today, in Jesus' name amen.
