Reverend Ben Cooper's Podcast

Grace in the Valley (#1087 - Elim)

Reverend Ben Cooper

Send us a text

When life presses down hardest, God's grace becomes most evident. In this deep and stirring episode, Reverend Ben Cooper explores the mystery of divine strength in human weakness, drawing powerful parallels between Paul's "thorn in the flesh" (2 Corinthians 12:7–10) and Jacob’s all-night wrestling match with God (Genesis 32:22–32).

As global instability increases—wars, financial uncertainty, and moral confusion—this message becomes more relevant than ever. Reverend Ben invites listeners to stop viewing hardship as a setback and start seeing it as a setup for a deeper encounter with God. He unpacks the truth that suffering isn’t always meant to be removed—it’s often meant to reveal the presence of Christ more clearly in our lives.

Cooper’s insight goes beyond traditional religious responses. “Ministry is limited. Church is limited. The Kingdom is not limited,” he says, challenging us to pursue Kingdom living rather than settling for institutional Christianity. He boldly contrasts performance-based religion with the raw, real encounters that mark a life surrendered to God.

What if the thorn in your life is actually the gateway to God’s strength? What if your struggle, like Jacob's limp, becomes the mark of divine intimacy? Instead of resisting the pressure, this episode calls you to lean into God's grace, where His power is made perfect in your weakness.

If you’re walking through sickness, loss, fear, disappointment, or exhaustion, this message is a lifeline. It’s not about escaping the trial, but discovering God's glory in the middle of it. Get ready to see your pain through a Kingdom lens and find resurrection power in your lowest valley.

➡️ Listen now to discover how your weakness may be the very place where God's strength meets you most powerfully. Share this episode with someone who needs to hear that their struggle is not the end—but the beginning of divine breakthrough.

Speaker 2:

The world today, wherever you are, and in the house. Let's turn, without further ado, this one and we will reference Genesis 32. Genesis, chapter 32,. We will reference Genesis 32 and 22 and read it through to 32. Just 10 verses. Read those through. We're in Genesis 32, verse 22 to 32.

Speaker 2:

But the prime text that we're coming from, the first text, is 2 Corinthians, chapter 12, verse 7. And it says To keep me from becoming conceited, there was given me a surpassing great revelation. There was given me a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me Three times. I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me, but he said to me my grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness, therefore, I will boast all more gladly about my weakness. So, in weakness, therefore, I will boast all more gladly about my weakness so that Christ's power may rest on me. So that is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weakness, in insults, in hardship, in persecution, in difficulties, because when I am weak then I am strong. Father, we pray that your word will come alive in our spirit, lord. We pray today that your word, lord, will give us revelational knowledge, that your word, father, god, will feed our spirit today. We pray today that your word, lord, will give us revelational knowledge, that your word, father God, will feed our spirit today. So, father, bless these scriptures in Jesus' name. Amen. Grace the word grace is so powerful. I've got to tell you this morning that grace is over your life, that grace is with you. Don't worry about the news, don't worry about what you're hearing. The scriptures have to be fulfilled. We are getting ready to watch the man of lawlessness. We are waiting for the Antichrist. We have had forerunners. We've had so much going on the last few years across the earth. It is really powerful times to be alive and I want to tell you this morning you are born again, you are spirit-filled and Jesus Christ is with you. Do not worry about what you see and what you hear. Yes, there must be famines. There must be desolations. There must be wars, rumors of wars. There must be a one world government. There must be a one world order. There must be a one monetary system. There must be a one economical program, what we are watching happening across the world, but these are happening because the scriptures are being fulfilled. There's nothing for you to worry about. So, grace, grace is over your life. Grace is over your home. Grace is over your family. Grace is over your children. Grace is over your relationships. Grace is over you. But this great New Testament writer. He writes to keep me from becoming conceited because of the surpassing, great revelations that was given me a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan to torment me. Are you being tormented this morning? Are you being tormented? What's the week been like? Have you been doubtful? Have you been worried? Have you been scared about the news? Are you worried to watch the news? Listen to the news. Brother and sister, let me tell you this the devil is a liar and he is under your feet.

Speaker 2:

There is grace over your life. Not only have you got grace, but you've got the blood of Jesus and you are a king carrier. You carry the deity, the father, the son and the holy spirit. You are born again, spirit filled, and there is grace over your life. There might be thorns oppressing us, there might be trouble around us, there might be war breaking out, there might be situations outside of our control, but just like Jacob, if you have a Bible, turn to that great book. You know Genesis, chapter 32. Genesis 32. You know God gave him grace.

Speaker 2:

But this is really, really important for me, that I've got to wrestle with God. But this is really really important for me, that I've got to wrestle with God. I've got to hold on to God With every amount of fiber strength I've got. You've got to hold on to God. And when you hold on to God, what are you holding on to? You're holding on to the Word. You're holding on from Genesis to Revelation. There is grace over your life. The King is in the house. The King is in your life. The King is in the house. The king is in your life. The king is in your workspace. The king is with you.

Speaker 2:

You are chosen for such a time as this and, just as that great, uh new testament writer wrote, there was given me a press on the side. Sometimes there is a press that is given us. Lord, push the thorn in a little bit deeper, because the form does something. The satanic press, the area of life, does something. What does it do? It takes me closer to God. It takes me closer to the scripture.

Speaker 2:

Let me tell you this Sickness will not take you off the earth, fear will not destroy your journey, doubt will not take you out, but let me tell you this. This is the time when we've got to evacuate what. What we've got to evacuate? Work, work, no, have you got to evacuate what you have got to evacuate, pastor Ben? You've got to evacuate church and religion. You cannot be kin to, we cannot be joint. We've got to make sure that there is a separate line in the sand and, first and foremost, foremost, that we are born again, spirit-filled, and that grace is over our lives. Ministry is limited, church is limited. The kingdom is not limited. Church will limit you, pastor, I will limit you, but Jesus Christ won't limit you. Don't follow me, follow Jesus, don't follow the church, follow, follow the king, be someone. That is in the word of God.

Speaker 2:

There is grace over your life, there is anointing over your life, but we are living in days where we got to be like Jacob Jacob's life. He was a real obscured character. He was manipulative, he was controlling, he'd done everything in his power. He was on a journey to see his brother and to deal with certain situations that went on in his life and he was worried about what was going to be because he was a manipulator. He was a shaper.

Speaker 2:

Jacob was a very unusual character. He was a chancer, he was a gambler. He'd done things in his life that you could never think or imagine or ask. But there comes a point in your life that you could never think or imagine or ask. But there comes a point in your life where you've got to push everything read the text for yourself on the other side of the river and you've got to go and find God. Now is the time to go and find God like never before. But when you go and find God, grace is with you, because it's important to understand that grace is always over you, grace is in you, grace is around you. But, just like Jacob, they're coming a time now.

Speaker 2:

We are not in the Joshua generation. We are not in revival generation. We are not in that fake name it and claim it. We are in persecution. We are being persecuted for being Jesus followers. If you are a Jesus follower across the world in the house, you will know the trouble it's like.

Speaker 2:

If you work in the ivory tower, if you work in the NHS, if you work in any area of even the prison service, the police force, even the armed forces, it is difficult to tell the world around you that Jesus Christ is the saviour of the world. If you work in government, you can't talk about Jesus really. If you work in the ivory towers in government, you can't talk about Jesus really. If you work in the ivory towers of London, you can't really leave a Bible on your desk because you get your P45 before one o'clock. But put a prayer cloth under your arm, go and lay in the middle of the road. You can pray to anyone you want to pray, but if you tell the world about Jesus, you've got to be radical, you've got to be crazy, you've got to be braggadocious. Because this is the time, this is the time to rise. And a few months, well, go back a few months.

Speaker 2:

The church in many areas lifted up the rainbow flag. It lifted up the wrong flag. Now it should be lifting up the flag of David, the flag of Israel. You've got to make your stand, not with the interpretation of the political Israel, but with the biblical Israel, because the character that we are reading, his name, was changed to what Israel, and out of him comes this nation. Brother and sister, we are watching the world try to disprove Jesus through education at school, through work, through media, through every area of life. Don't get caught on the social platform. Church Be found in the kingdom of God. Don't get caught in celebrity church. Be found in the kingdom.

Speaker 2:

Now is the time to evacuate church and religion. Now is the time to stand with the God of Israel. Now is the time to evacuate church and religion. Now is the time to stand with the God of Israel. Now is the time to wrestle with the God of Israel. Isn't it interesting? The one that wrestled with the God of Israel got the name. There is nothing more powerful than blessing and praying for Israel and standing. I don't bring anyone into this. What I'm talking about now. This is just me myself and I. I stand with. I stand with the biblical interpretation of Israel. I love Israel. I wish I lived in Israel right now, because it's the safest place on earth.

Speaker 2:

When you read about what God says about Israel, israel ain't going nowhere. Israel is not going to be moved. Israel is rising like a lion. Israel is rising. Majority of the world doesn't understand. This UK government hasn't got a clue what they are dabbling in. When they cut that umbilical cord right back in 47, 49, whenever it was, they cut that cord. The tire was cut suddenly. We have had the locust swarm right the way through the uk, but now is the time to stand.

Speaker 2:

And now is the time not only to stand but to wrestle with the god of israel. And we might say, well, ben, the bible says that god is omnipresent, omnipotent. Where is this God? He's unapproachable. You can't approach him Because he sits in an unapproachable light. It's impossible to get to him. No one can see God and live. Yes, I agree and completely stand with you, but I have a Bible and if I wrestle, if I wrestle, if I hold this Bible, I'm holding the God of Israel in my hand. If you read the word of God, you're reading God's heart. If you get in the word of God, you're with God. You know Jesus Christ is alive. Jesus Christ is a Jew. He wasn't a Palestinian. Jesus Christ is and was a Jew. He is the coming king. He is the savior of the world. And just because there is trouble at the door of life, my grace is sufficient for you when you understand the power of grace.

Speaker 2:

Right now, there are many people caught in atheism. There are many people caught in all the foreign gods worshipping. There are many people right now devil worshipping. I've got to be careful because there are young people in the house. I've got to be careful how I pronounce what I'm saying. There are people right now in satanic worship. There are people that are caught in Freemasonry Masonic lodges, think that they're doing charitable work when Lucifer is at the top of the tree. There are many people right now getting caught in what we call being a white witch. Oh, it's all about love. It's got nothing to do with love. There are many people watching and allowing children to dabble in Harry Potter stuff.

Speaker 2:

We are at a crisis point in this nation. We have a nation where the majority of adults, young adults and children are in this nation. We have a nation where the majority of adults, young adults and children are in this gaming generation playing the most horrific games on earth, watching the most horrific things. And the church in the UK is at its most weakest point because it lifted up the wrong flag and it stood with a foreign god. But if you are a born again, spirit filled believer right now, we've got to understand that there is power in the name of Jesus Christ. We've got to understand that now is a day to wrestle with the God of Jacob. We've got to wrestle with that God of Jacob, isaac and Abraham. We've got to get in the word of God. God loves you and he's saying Ben, he's saying brother and sister, there is a life for you, right in the midst of trouble. Don't hide. Don't be like the Israelites when Goliath came out in every morning, when he breathed murderous threats, they ran back to the cave. Get hold of the word of God. Realize who you are.

Speaker 2:

What is the most damning thing that the UK church has done to the congregations? Not preach the gospel, and not. By not preaching the gospel, what does it do? We lose our identity, and the children and the young adults and certain people go and find their identity somewhere else. When you know who you are, when you know that the Redeemer of the living God is in your being, when you know that Jesus Christ went to the cross of Calvary for each and every one of you, when you realize that you are blessed, that you are chosen for such a time of this, let war do what it's going to do, let famine do what it's going to do, but pick up your word and stand on the scripture and say my God shall supply all my needs according to thy riches in glory.

Speaker 2:

I'm not running down to Lidl this afternoon and buying a thousand loot rolls. I'm not running over to Asda this afternoon and filling the car boot up with water, because my God shall supply all my needs according to thy riches in glory. I know who I am, because what war does? It makes money. Governments make serious money when they put that thread and that threat out. Be careful, there's going to be no water left by this afternoon. What we're going to do? Run and buy. What do we do when we run and buy? They put, put the prices up. What do they do? They tell us you've got to buy rice, you've got to buy bread. If you don't go down there and get a French stick, you'll never see one ever again in your life. Brother and sister, my God shall supply all my needs according to thy riches in glory.

Speaker 2:

And what the UK church has done? It has weakened itself by not allowing and not showing us how to grow in the battlefield. The greatest place that any one of us will grow is right in the face of Goliath, right in the face of adversity. He said to Goliath you come against me with sword. You come against me with spear, javelin, you come against me with your power. I'm coming in the name. I'm carrying a name that actually created you, son. I'm actually carrying a name that created these stones, because this stone that I have in this sling was created when my God said let there be light. And there was. This stone was lined up for my hand to pick out of the brook. This stone was ordained for me to put in this sling and I, just because I'm gifted as a shepherd boy, I'm not going to have to fire this stone because my God is going to take you out Now. Isn't it interesting I've got to be careful because a young is in the house Isn't it interesting when David and Goliath, when David slayed and when Goliath fell to the floor.

Speaker 2:

You've only got to read the text and find out what David done to Goliath, what Goliath wanted to do and what Goliath bought the sword. David took the enemy and destroyed the enemy. I can't go into too much detail. We've got to be extremely careful, obviously as well on social media and across the world. But what the enemy brings to you is not going to destroy you. What the enemy brings to your door isn't going to take you out.

Speaker 2:

Wars, rumors of wars, famines. Do not worry, my God shall supply because there's grace over you, because when I am weak. Thank you, jesus when I'm in trouble. Thank you, jesus, psalm 91,. If you ever look at Psalm 91, he says because you recognize me, because you love me, I've got to look after you. We can love the church building, and that ain't going to get us saved. You can do all the ministry we want, we can do all the podcasts and all the preaching. I can preach to the cows come on. But unless I'm born again, hell awaits.

Speaker 2:

It's about being born again, and being born again is out of the hands of the church and outside of religion. Being born again is outside of the hands of the preachers. I love the fact that being born again has nothing to do with the church. The church cannot make you born again. Because when God said let there be light, something happened.

Speaker 2:

Redemption started to come Even before we created Adam and Eve, before the fall in the garden. It's very interesting the gardens, the gardens that the Bible talks about. You know Adam and Eve lost it in one garden. You know Adam and Eve lost it in one garden. Jesus Christ came back in the garden of Gethsemane and started the redemption process to that level of the physical. And then the third garden that no one really preaches about is the garden where they laid him. Three gardens, three crosses, three nows. The human race lost it in the first garden. Jesus stepped into the garden of Gethsemane and he started walking to plead. He was crucified.

Speaker 2:

And Joseph of Arimathea, and that great man I'll call him a great man, nicodemus and I'm not worshipping Nicodemus in any way, but he was because he'd come to the realization that religion and the Torah was no good to get him saved. And he went to Jesus by night. And he went to Jesus by night and he said can I have a word with you? He said you know, all this stuff that I know ain't getting me where I've got to be. Let me tell you, this church TikTok church, facebook church, social media church, mega church, great big church ain't going to get you where it's got to be. There's only one place that's going to get you to where it's got to get you to be and that is the kingdom of God. Church is finished in the UK, it's over, but the kingdom of God is moving so powerful. It's about.

Speaker 2:

Now we wrestle with God and God said are you going to let me go, son? And he went. No chance, I ain't going to. Let me go, son, and he went. No chance, I ain't gonna let you go till you bless me. Oh, and he walked out the arena of God. Isn't that interesting. Thank God God wasn't in the prayer meeting at that time, because whoever walked in there walked out with a limp. You'd expect to walk in the church with a limp and expect to walk out being healed. But when Jacob wrestled God, see, this is what I want. I want to be marked when I leave his presence. I want a distinctive mark that I've wrestled with the king. See, there was a reason and all Israel, right now, to this moment, recognizes that that man, jacob, wrestled with the God of Israel and God had to mark him and strike him and do what he'd done. I want to leave God's house with a limp. I want to leave God's house with a clear marker on my body that I've met with God, with a clear marker on my body that I've met with God.

Speaker 2:

Brother and sister, it's critical to wrestle like we've never wrestled with the scripture. It's critical to recognize that there are messengers of Satan out there. It's critical to recognize there must be wars, rumors of wars. It's critical to understand there must be famines, there must be earthquakes. You know, in the UK alone, when you look at the children's situation, children are rising against parents and parents don't know what to do with children. But that's biblical Children will rise against their parents and we are watching this across this nation. We are watching a rise. We are watching it in education, we are watching it in every area. But I need to tell you that there's grace over your life. I need to tell you this morning there are wars, rumors of wars. I need to tell you this morning there's not going to be a nuclear war. You know, it doesn't matter what they say, it's what he says. When I understand the word of God.

Speaker 2:

Jacob said now I'm putting everything over the other side of the brook, and I believe that we're at this stage in our lives. We've got to put stuff on the other side of the brook and we've got to be prepared to go in the arena with God. Who else wrestled with God? Jacob was a forerunner. Who was he a forerunner of? Let's use a bit of a typology, a bit of an experience here. He was wrestling with God. What did Jesus do in the garden of Gethsemane? He wrestled. He said come on, there's got to be another way. There's got to be another way wrestling with himself, wrestling with the full deity, wrestling with himself, wrestling in the arena, wrestling in the mirror, understanding what he was, what he was sent down here for. There was a deliberate plan and that was the plan of redemption. And you pick that straight up in book of Genesis, before the human race fell, there was a redemption plan. There isn't going to be no nuclear war. There is going to be no wipe out. God is coming back for the bride.

Speaker 2:

And this is the time for the church in this nation to rise. This is the time to rise like never before. This is the time to rise like never before. This is the time to stretch out like never before. This is the time to stand up. Not lift up the rainbow flag, but lift up the word of God. Lift up the word of God in your home, lift up the word of God in your culture, lift up the word of God in your workspace, lift up the word of God in school, in education. Tell the world I am a Jesus follower. Tell the world I believe because there's grace over your life.

Speaker 2:

And he said God, I pleaded with you three times. I pleaded with you three times and it's still with me. But then God went. Yeah, I heard your prayer, but I wanted to strengthen you. But I wanted to strengthen you. I wanted to show you that when you're weak and when you're tired, I wanted to show you that my grace is stronger than anything. I want to show you today that you have prayed your heart out, but I've listened, I've heard your prayers. I've bottled every tear up that you've cried through prayer, through frustration. I have heard you, but I'm sending you something that you never thought.

Speaker 2:

I'm going to give you grace in the valley. I'm going to give you strength in the graveyard of life. I'm going to carry you through the corridor of the hospital and as you walk through the hospital and as you walk through the valley of the shadow of death, as you wake in the middle of the night, early in the morning, in cold sweats, I have a plan for your life, but I need you to trust me. I need you to lean into me. I need you to trust me in your life. I need you to lean into me. I need you to trust me in your life. I need you to rest in the word, I need you to hold on. And it says there my grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. In weakness, there is power from above. In the valley. There is power from above. In doubt, there is power from above. I pray that. There is power from above. In doubt there is power from above. I pray that wherever you are in the name of Jesus.

Speaker 2:

We're going to have to extend the time. We're going to have to extend the time. We're going to go to 1240 online, and then the camera. The time is rapidly going. We're going to go to 1240 and then the camera will kick out. The clock is against me, sister and brother. Wherever you kick out, the clock is against me. Sister and brother, wherever you are across the world, wherever you are in the house this morning, the grace of God is sufficient.

Speaker 2:

You're in the valley of the shadow of death and it's time to be really, really blessed in the valley. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me, your rod and your staff. They comfort me. You prepare, we're at the preparation time of God preparing the table in the midst of the dogs of life. We're in the middle of the valley and the king is preparing the best McDonald's you've ever seen. We're in the middle of the valley and he's preparing the best meal.

Speaker 2:

Even though I walk through the middle of the valley and he's preparing the best meal, even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil. Why, god? My grace is with you, my blood is over you. You are anointed, you are chosen, you are blessed and highly favoured, wonderfully and fearfully made. You are mine. The devil can't control you. Sickness will not take you out, fear will not destroy you. But, ben, I want not destroy you, but, ben, I want you to keep walking. I want you to keep walking.

Speaker 2:

But, god, it's dark. God, there's shadows, there's a shadow of death, lord, there's a sound of war on the horizon. There's a sound of sickness, there's a sound of fear. But he says don't worry about the drumbeat of satan. He's all noise and mirrors. Because when I went to the cross, I disarmed the devil's work.

Speaker 2:

Because the scripture tells us, when he was on the cross of Calvary, it says that Jesus Christ disarmed the works of principalities, the dark forces, sickness, disease. Because the blood of Jesus Christ, you are blood washed. You are born again. You do not belong to the church, you do not belong to your pastors, you do not belong to your family, you do not belong to your workspace. You belong to the God of Israel, the father of Isaac, jacob and Abraham. You have been bought with a price, and that price was the blood of Jesus. The blood has bought you.

Speaker 2:

You haven't even reached your full potential yet, but the enemy's telling you you're finished. You haven't even reached that, that destinational point, but the enemy's telling you you're never going to make it. You haven't even got to that stage in your life yet where you're going to start to see the blessings flow like rivers of flowing water. You haven't reached that point yet and the enemy is trying to tell you Ben, you're chained down, you're never going to make it, you're never going to have enough. It's impossible, no way, you can't. You're never going to do. All the ifs and the buts are coming at you from every area of life, but I want to tell you that the king is with you. The king isn't holding your hand. He's carrying you. He's carrying you through the valley of the shadow of death, and his grace is over your life. His healing power is in your innermost being. His love is with you. You've got a new heart, a new mind. God is with you. You are saved. You are blood washed, you are sanctified. You are a child of the living God.

Speaker 2:

Let them play political table tennis across the world. They'll talk about wars because around the backside of the stage they're taking money from each other. Left, right and center. Every government is woven together because I sell you oil, I'll sell you bread, I'll sell you this, I'll sell you that, but we won't let the world know what we're doing.

Speaker 2:

But let's gather at Davos, let's fly our aircraft. You can't drive into London with your transit van anymore, but I'm going to fly across the world in the jet. I'm going to go to Davos and I'm going to talk about the great energy deal and we're going to hit net zero. Let me tell you, net zero is a lie from number 10 Downing Street. We ain't got to save the planet. The planet is going to burn up. God created the ozone layer. God created the molecules. God is in charge of the filter system of this air.

Speaker 2:

Do not listen to them. Crackpots that are talking about the contrails that are coming out of aircraft. Do not worry about this. Do not worry about your diesel. Do not worry about your fuel, because God created the earth, he created the fossil fuels, he created everything. He is the King of Kings, he is the Lord of Lords. Drive your car, do what you got to do.

Speaker 2:

Let me tell you if you want to read the greatest green energy deal the world has ever read, where is it? Genesis, chapter one. There are many ministries and I won't mention one of them so I got in trouble last time. There's a big church in london and I think it might be called holy trinity brompton, aren't you wrong there? But that has got a statement about save the planet, the green energy deal.

Speaker 2:

Let me tell you this Don't worry about putting your green bin out, your black bin out, your pink bin out, depending where you live. All you've got to do is follow the word of God and be respectable to what God has told us to do. He said go into all the world, and we know what we got to do. All meat is clean, all takeaways are clean. Do you know that? Every food is clean? It doesn't matter what ritual anybody else wants to say about it, because my God created that cow that they're talking about. My God created that animal that they're talking about. My God created that animal that they're talking about. My God, through the scripture, says it's clean. I'm praying over my dinner. I'm praying over my Big Mac in the name of Jesus, wherever this little fella has come from. When I enjoy my McDonald's milkshake in the name of Jesus, the milk is clean, the cheese is clean, everything's clean in the name of Jesus, and I'm enjoying my day.

Speaker 2:

Sister and brother, I know I'm being flippant, but do not allow religions, do not allow the pressure and the fear. It's got to be this. It's got to be that. It's got to be this. Sisters and brothers, the blood has cleaned everything. You are children of the living God. Blood has cleaned everything. You are children of the living God. You have authority, you have power. You are chosen for great things.

Speaker 2:

For such a time as this, and just as that great New Testament writer wrote, and God told him, my grace is over you, paul, just as Jacob went in the arena, he went in the arena and went. I ain't leaving this, I ain't leaving this place until you give me what I need for the rest of my life. This is where we need to be. We need to be in the arena with the God of Israel. We need to be in the garden of Gethsemane. Even though you walk through the valley of the shadow of death, there is a banquet laid out for you and if we have faith enough to believe because that's all it takes, I believe. I believe in the valley of trouble, my God is preparing a banquet. Let war break out. Let all of them shout and dance. Let the enemy in your life break out. But I am going to sit at the table and I'm going to enjoy what God is doing for me. When I understand Psalm 23, what that actually means, and the power in that Psalm. Even though I walk through the darkest valley of life, your rod and your staff, they comfort me. Even though I'm surrounded by enemies, my God is making a banquet for me. On all the days of my life, I will dwell in the house of the Lord.

Speaker 2:

See, this is what the church in the UK has done to many people. It has destroyed our identity. We don't know who we are anymore. We're crisscrossing churches. We're crisscrossing. We're trying to find the button, the X factor button. We're trying to find the Simon Cowell of life to give me the let it rain down gold in my life. We're trying to find the X Factor button and we're searching everywhere and the church in the UK hasn't strengthened us for such a time as this. We've lost our identity.

Speaker 2:

The church says you can do what you like, I'll be careful. The church says you can do what you like, I'll be careful. The church says you can do what you like. You can change from Fred and be Sandra in the afternoon. You can go from Sandra to Fred. You can do what you like and we'll support you. We'll support you in your change, because what the enemy wants to do, he wants to destroy our identity. What do you mean, pastor Ben? What I mean is when we don't know who we are in him, we get stuck. But when I realize who I am, I'm a sinner saved by grace, I'm blessed and highly favored. I'm in the valley of life, but my God's with me. When you realize now not your self-worth, no, because that many, many churches will talk about find your gift in. Find your self-worth, love yourself. Be careful, don't love yourself, because you'll big yourself up so much and then you'll be back the day one.

Speaker 2:

You've got to understand who is in you, when, to understand who is in you. When you understand who is in you, that tells you who you are. When you understand that the deity is inside of you, when you understand the king is inside of you. We're going to need to keep this running a little bit longer, alex. Keep this running a bit longer on air, just a few more minutes.

Speaker 2:

When you understand who is inside of you, when you understand who is living inside of you, when you understand you're born again, when you understand that you are blood washed, when you understand you're anointed, when you understand that you're a sinner saved by grace, when you understand that no devil in hell can take you out, when you understand the gift is given without repentance. Oh, my goodness, he loves you so much because salvation comes from above and you, you, are saved, no matter how we feel about our emotions, no matter how we look at and reflect it about our lives, and no matter if we go on a retreat and we self-reflect it and all that old razzmatazz. You know God loves you. That is biblical fact. And he saved every one of us when we was at our darkest, lowest, worst time of life, and he stretched down from heaven and he stretched down into the pit of life and he picked Ben out and he brought Ben out, just like he brought David out and every one of us. He took us out in the mud and the mire and he gave us a firm place to stand. And he put a new song in your mouth, and that new song is Jesus.

Speaker 2:

Put a new song in your mouth and that new song is Jesus. That new song is the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. That new song is yes, my God is able. That new song is I can do all things through Christ. That strengthens me. That new song is yes, I'm going through the valley of the shadow of death, but when I come out of the other side, devil, you better pack up your suitcase, because I'm coming after you. I'm taking back my half acre. I'm taking back what Jonathan and his armor bearer did. We are going to take back what the devil had stolen.

Speaker 2:

Wouldn't that be crazy? Imagine next week if every pastor, every denomination decided we're going to take back territory. We're not going to big ourselves up anymore. We're not going to blow smoke up our chimney, we're not going to big ourselves up, but what we're going to do is we're going to take territory back. We're going to lift up the flag of Israel. We're going to lift up the word of God. We're going to tell the world that we are Jesus followers. We're going to tell the world that we're not worried about pastor, we're not worried about leadership. We are following Jesus.

Speaker 2:

Wouldn't it be crazy if the church in the UK next week lifted up the King of Kings? Wouldn't it be mad at 11 o'clock, at the strike at 11? Prayed the Lord's Prayer. Imagine the sound across the UK when all the doors and the windows were open, whether in the house or at home, at 11 o'clock. Pray the Lord's Prayer. Imagine the sound across the UK singing psalms, praising the King above all kings. You know religion and the church is finished, but the kingdom is accelerating.

Speaker 2:

We're coming to the table right now. We're over time, but we're still online and we've just got a few minutes. Let's come to the table. We are in the Jacob generation. Wrestle with me. God is saying come and wrestle with me. Come and wrestle with me. God is saying come and wrestle with me, come and wrestle with me, come and wrestle with me. So, father, right now, as I break bread, I wrestle and I'm not going to let you go. So bless this bread.

Speaker 2:

You know, around the Passover table, around the Passover table, christ Passover table. Christ took the bread, he broke bread, he gave thanks, he had the cup and he took the bread and he dipped it in the, in the, in the, in the wine, the redemption cup, remember he had. He held the redemption cup, the third cup he held. He held the third cup very significant the Passover is so significant and he dipped it in there and he dipped it in and I suppose he probably gave it to the greatest preacher that was at the table that time. He probably gave it to one of the greatest worship leaders that was there. I suppose he gave it to the greatest pastor, maybe Jesse Duplantis or or one of them crackpots out there, you know, creflo Dolly, probably. No, no, no. Who?

Speaker 2:

When christ held the cup of redemption and he had the bread as it was in his hands, he dipped it and he gave it to a man that betrayed him, and as he gave it to the man that betrayed him, satan, that entered into the body of jud, judas, iscariot. Jesus locked eyes with Judas, but inside those eyes was the darkest spirit the world has ever seen and he said what you're about to do, do quickly. Lucifer has felt the blood of Jesus. No one can escape the blood. The devil was at the table. Sister and brother, this is so powerful. This is so powerful. Bless this bread, lord. Bless this bread as we take this right now, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, amen. Father, we thank you for this redemption cup because it symbolizes the blood of Jesus. Lord, and as we take this cup, will you cleanse us from the crown of our head to the sole of our feet? Wash us in the blood of Jesus. Wash us in the crimson type. Cleanse us right now. Thank you that my sins are forgiven. I repent now, lord. I'm sorry that I've failed you. I'm sorry that I let you down. Cleanse me from the crown of my head to the sole of my feet, amen, amen.

Speaker 2:

God will make sure bills are paid. God will do what he's going to do because he loves you and he can't. He can't not because the scriptures have got to be fulfilled, but we really value your prayers here. We value your prayers. Please, can you keep praying? Keep praying for us, the ministry and everything, as we're all on the front line of life through prayer, for everything that's done through the recording, through the services, everything that's done, please. Speaker 2:

But, wherever you are today, as we come to the close of the service, let's just pray that fear will go. Let's not allow fear to rule us. Let's not allow anxiety to rule us. Let's not allow all that stuff to get a hold of us. Let's really focus on God. We are living in powerful days. The scriptures are alive, jesus is alive. So, sister and brother, we invite you right now.

Speaker 2:

Father, I thank you Wherever we are across the world. I thank you that we're born again. I thank you, lord, that we have evacuated church and we're standing in the kingdom. So, lord, I thank you for those that support us through prayer. I thank you for those, lord, that support us through financial giving. But, lord, I pray, Lord, and I thank you that you're meeting everything that's got to be met for every area of life, for all of us.

Speaker 2:

I pray for those that are suffering with anxiety today. I pray for those that are really fearful of life, those that are worried about work, those that are worried about church and ministry, those that are worried that have got health anxiety. Lord bless them, those that are fearful, those that are scared just any fear, any doubt, to go. In the name of Jesus and Lord, I pray that all of us will be like Jacob, that we all jump on God, we all jump in the word, we wrestle with the scripture and we say, god, I'm not going to leave, I'm not leaving you, god, until I get what I've got to get to get free.

Speaker 2:

Don't wrestle the government, don't worry about what the government is doing. Don't worry about what the world is doing. Don't look at all the news channels. Find yourself a great ministry that is right in the heartbeat of israel and follow that ministry that is right in the middle of israel. Get the real facts at a point. Read the bible.

Speaker 2:

We are living in end days. We are living in powerful days. If you are spirit filled and you are that Christian, you are that Bible believing believer, god is with you. He's with you and your children. He's with you. Let's pray, father.
