Storms Are Coming: Build on the Rock, Not the Sand | Matthew 7:24–27

Storms are raging all around us—not just in the atmosphere, but in our hearts, our homes, and our nations. In this powerful and timely message, Reverend Ben Cooper unpacks Jesus’s teaching in Matthew 7:24–27, calling believers to examine the foundations of their lives as spiritual storms intensify across the world.

“The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house…”
— Matthew 7:25

This isn't about weather—it’s about spiritual survival. From wars and economic collapse to family breakdown and cultural confusion, today's storms expose the cracks in what we’ve built our lives upon. Reverend Ben reminds us that we are in a spiritual deluge, and only those anchored to Jesus Christ will endure.

The message contrasts two builders: one wise, one foolish. The foolish builder trusts in sand—money, politics, titles, even church institutions that may appear solid but lack true spiritual depth. The wise builder, however, hears the Word of God and puts it into practice, laying their life on the unshakable rock of Christ.

“Don’t build your life on the church—build it on Jesus,” Reverend Ben urges, pointing out the spiritual famine in the UK. Church buildings may still stand, but biblical nourishment is scarce, leaving people vulnerable and spiritually underfed.

Drawing from Psalm 18 and Psalm 23, the episode paints a vivid picture of God as our rock, refuge, and deliverer. These aren’t poetic metaphors—they’re promises for anyone willing to make God their stronghold. Communion becomes more than ritual; it’s a reminder of Christ’s enduring covenant to anchor us in every storm.

If you’ve been feeling the weight of global chaos, struggling with fear, financial uncertainty, or emotional exhaustion, this message isn’t just inspirational—it’s deeply practical. Through Scripture, Reverend Ben offers tools to:

  • Discern what your life is really built on
  • Reconnect with the living Word of God
  • Find strength through spiritual discipline and prayer
  • Return to a personal relationship with Jesus, not just religion

This is a wake-up call to reassess what holds your world together when everything around you starts falling apart.

The storms are coming. The rivers are rising.
What foundation are you standing on?

Join us for this stirring episode, and discover how to stand firm when the winds of life blow strongest. Don’t be caught spiritually unprepared—build your life on the rock that cannot be moved.

Now strap in, lift your spirit and prepare your soul. It's time for the one, the only, the mighty Reverend Ben and Alex show. Warning excessive joy may occur.

Speaker 2:

Good evening, good evening. God bless you. Wherever you are across the world, we welcome you. We're having a bit of fun tonight. Wherever you are across the world, may God encourage you and strengthen you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Before we go any further, we want to say thank you to everybody that's been supporting us. We want to say thank you to everyone that's been praying for us, say thank you to everybody that has been putting a few quid in the bank. We really really do appreciate that.

Speaker 2:

You know, here in the church we're hitting some really difficult times at the moment. Things are extremely difficult for every one of us, but let's just be gathered in prayer. So, wherever you are tonight, will you join us for prayer? Will you just join us as we just rest in the house of the lord? You know, we're going to start some prayer off right now and we're going to pray for israel and the middle east and everything that's happening around there. There is some serious things that is happening right now on the other side of the globe and we just want to bring that before the lord. So let's just gather our thoughts, you know, gather everything. Wherever you are. We welcome you tonight. May god bless you and strengthen you in the mighty name of jesus christ. And, uh, we want to thank you once more. You know, thank you so much for those that are into the ministry, so those that are praying. You know, we really, really are blessed here. Thank you so much for what you're doing. But, but let's get straight into prayer tonight. Let's just pray for the Middle East. We're going to pray right now for Israel and everything that's happening around there and all that sort of stuff, that corridor right away around.

Speaker 2:

Father, we come before you, lord, this is the day that the Lord has made. We shall rejoice and be glad and, fathers, we focus on you tonight, the King of kings and the lord of lords. Father, we pray for the peace of jerusalem. We pray, lord, that the fire of god will move all the way through israel tonight, that the joy of the lord shall be their strength. Lord, that you will save lives. We pray for iran. We pray, father god, all the way around the eastern belt. Lord of the middle east, father, we pray, lord, that the presence of the holy spirit will change lives tonight, that lives will be transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit. So, lord, we thank you for what you're doing through and with Israel. So, lord, we stand with the biblical Israel. So, father, we ask you, lord, that lives will be transformed, lives will be saved, that people will get to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior through these atrocities that are going on.

Speaker 2:

Father, we pray for the terrorists. We pray, lord, that you will save the terrorists tonight, lord, and the terrorists, dear God, will know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. That you will sweep all the way through the Middle East. Father, we pray for the Iran. We pray for the leaders in Iran, lord, that you will bless them from the crown of their head to the sole of their feet. Lord, that they will know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Lord, that you will speak all the way through every nation, every tribe, every tongue.

Speaker 2:

We pray that Jesus Christ will be their Lord and their Savior. That, dear God, that you will lift them up right now, spirit of the living God, make a way where there seems to be no way. Lord, do your great work. Lord, we are blessed and highly favored, wonderfully and fearfully made. But tonight, lord, we pray as you sweep right the way through Israel, through the Middle East. Lord, will you do your great work, will you set the captives free. So, father, as we come before you, lord, on this Monday evening here in the UK, on the 23rd of June 2025, father, we pray for an outpouring of your Spirit over Israel tonight. That you will protect, that you will make whole, that that you will protect, that you will make whole, that you will set the captives free, that the terrorists, lord, the regimes, will know Jesus Christ as the Savior of the world and the King of Kings will be lifted and exalted right up all the way through the Middle East. Father, lord, we thank you that you are the God of Israel, the Father of Isaac, jacob and Abraham. And as we stand before you on this Monday evening, lord, as we come to the table, as we read the scriptures, we just have a look at the word of God. Father, let there be a great stirring tonight, lord, in the glorious name of Jesus Christ, amen, good evening and welcome to everyone on RB, christian Radio, wherever you are scattered across the world.

Speaker 2:

We thank you for supporting this ministry. Thank you to everybody in the world of podcasts. Thank you to everybody on live stream, on camera. Right now, we want to say thank you for those that have been praying for us. We really need your prayers here in this church, here in this ministry. You know we really need the prayers of the saints. Excuse me, my voice is wearing out. You know we need the prayers to Lord. Strength for my voice. We need the prayers to strengthen the ministry of this church, the studio, everything that goes on in here. We pray for an outpouring of the Spirit over every one of you and we thank you for your support. We thank you for your prayers. We thank you for those that have given, that are giving, and tonight, if you can, if you can, go on RB Christian Radio. You know you go on rbchristianradionet and as you look on the bottom right-hand corner you see a little tiny coffee cup. You can support us with just a cup of coffee a month. You'd be surprised how far that will go. It'd be three, five pound or something like that. If you just click that, you click that button, it takes you straight into a simple little method. You can support us. You know we're just buying us a coffee. That goes such a long way. I want to thank you to everybody that has done that already.

Speaker 2:

But without further ado, let's get straight in the Word of God. We are living in end days. We are living in the power of the Holy Spirit. God is with you wherever you are across the world. For those that are watching in Israel, for those that are in the Middle East watching and listening, may God strengthen you tonight and we pray that a hand of God will be over you in Israel, in the Eastern pocket, all the way around Palestine. We pray that God will save the Palestinians and God will move powerfully in that area of life. Also, for those that are in the Middle East, we pray that the Holy Spirit will bless you tonight. So, thank you to everybody that's watching right now, in the name of Jesus Christ, and we pray that, wherever you are, that you will just rest in the arms of Christ.

Speaker 2:

Let's turn to Matthew, chapter 7. We're going to turn to Matthew, chapter 7. We're in verse 24. I find that this is critical for me. Nobody else, I'm just speaking to myself. I'm looking in the mirror and I'm speaking to myself tonight. I find that this is absolutely critical and we know what we're going to find in just a few moments. And it says therefore, anyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house upon the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, the winds blew and beat against that house, yet it did not fall because its foundation was on the rock. But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice, he is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain came down, the streams rose and the winds blew, a beat against that house and it fell with a great crash. Oh, my goodness, gracious me. It is very simple. Tonight, what are you going to say, rev? What I'm going to say is that we've got to build on the rock. There is only one place to build our lives is on the word of God and every one of you.

Speaker 2:

Tonight I pray wherever you are, on stream with us, on camera tonight, on podcast with us, whether you are situated on the other side of the world, if you're listening to RB Christian Radio. Wherever you are listening to this audio, we want to encourage you to build yourself upon the rock. Do you know what it is raining? Do you not realize it is absolutely raining like never before. And I'm not referring to the weather outside the windows, because you look outside your window. The sun is out. We've had beautiful weather the last few weeks, but I want to encourage you right now to build upon the rock of all ages, because it is raining and we've got to be ready.

Speaker 2:

We've got to be ready because when the streams rose, when the rain fell, when trouble comes, brother and sister, build upon the rock. There is no other way to go but to build on jesus christ. There is no other way. There is no foundation to build upon. It is on the word of god, it is on scripture, it is on prayer. It is in this word. This rock, this word of God will carry you.

Speaker 2:

And as it rains and as the rain starts to fall, we've only got to look at the Middle East. You've only got to look at Israel. You've only got to look at America, you've only got to look at Ukraine and Russia, china, you've only got to look at the UK. Where does the UK sit tonight? We know where the UK sits tonight. The UK sits in spiritual trouble. The UK sits in such an issue tonight.

Speaker 2:

But what we've got to remember is that we are building upon the rock. You are being built, your life is being built on the rock. God has put your feet upon the rock. God is saving you. God is blessing you. God is healing you. God is moving in your life. Maybe you flicked onto this live stream by chance. There's no such thing as chance. In the word of God there's kingdom. God is drawing you. God has saved you. God has set you free. We want to encourage you tonight, as the scripture says in Matthew, chapter seven, verse 24,.

Speaker 2:

Therefore, anyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice. Lord, I hear your word. Lord, I got to build on your word. I've got to stand on your word. Lord, your word has got to get me strong. You know, when you look at these scriptures, these are fundamental scriptures to our walk with God. There is nothing finer than building your life upon the rock, the rock of all ages, the king of kings and the Lord of lords. It is critical that we build on the word of God. There is nothing else in this life worth building on except the text of Jesus Christ, from Genesis to Revelation.

Speaker 2:

You get yourself a Bible and you read this word and you get this word in your spirit. You put this word on your heart. You get the word deep inside your innermost being. You run with the word. You stand with the word. You speak the word over inside your innermost being. You run with the word. You stand with the word. You speak the word over your life. You speak the word over your enemies, over your families, over your life, over your money, over your business, over your schooling, over every area of your life. You put this word right out in front, because the Bible says seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and everything else shall be added unto thee. There is power in the name of Jesus. This word is filled with glory. This word is powerful. This word is filled with authority. This word is God's word. You know, this word is like honey on our lips. Wherever you are at this hour, we pray that you will grab yourself a Bible. You will turn to Matthew, chapter 7, and you will read verse 24. And it says Therefore therefore, anyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house upon the rock. The rain came down, it is raining. It really is raining spiritually. When you look at the UK, it is raining.

Speaker 2:

And what I find absolutely fascinating, we are in a spiritual famine at this time. You know we are in a famine in the UK. We have never been in such an unusual position within the UK, spiritually wise. We are in a crisis period in the area of a famine, and I'm not referring to the food, I'm not referring to materialism, because we are brimming over with food, even though there's uncountable food banks, even though there is a food crisis, what we call at this moment in time, but it's not the crisis that we think that it is. It's a different crisis, even though we've got food banks almost on every corner, even though the shelves are stocked in the supermarkets. What I've got to emphasize right now, at this moment in time, we are in a famine period within the UK, and what the famine period is is the Word of God. We are starved of Scripture, we are starved of the doctrine of the Word.

Speaker 2:

If you have just linked into us tonight, if you are just joining this live stream, matthew, chapter 7, verse 24. And when you read this word, this word is critical for you, this word is critical for me, this word is critical for every one of us. Because it is raining in the UK. We are in a deluge of issues, you know when you look, and I'm not referring to the land being brimming over. What I'm referring to. You'll have to forgive my voice tonight. What's really, really important is when you look at this nation and you see what's happening to this nation, it is raining trouble. It is raining trouble. We have a torrent of rain of trouble, and what I've got to do when it rains trouble, I've got to build my house and my life upon the rock of all ages. Wherever you are at this moment, we want to encourage you to build your life on Jesus Christ. Grab a word of God. Wherever you are, god is with you. It is raining in the UK.

Speaker 2:

You might say, rev, I'm looking out my kitchen window, my studio window. I'm looking out right now. You might be looking out of the kitchen. You might be looking out my kitchen window, my studio window. I'm looking out right now. You might be looking out of the kitchen. You might be looking out your car window. You might be outside listening to this and we know that the sun is out. It's a beautiful day, it's a beautiful evening.

Speaker 2:

Here in the UK it is not raining as in the rain from the natural heavens above, but it is raining trouble. I want to encourage you tonight that we have never seen so much trouble in the UK. But what helps me get through the trouble? Verse 23, you know, sorry, psalm 23,. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me, your rod and your staff. They comfort me.

Speaker 2:

You know we are living in a time when this nation is being flooded with trouble. It is deluging. It is raining, the streams are rising, it is pouring down, with trouble coming out of number 10, downing Street, coming out of life itself. When you look at this world, when you look at this nation, you know where does this nation stand at this moment in supporting the biblical Israel, we are really off point. We are really in need of a spiritual miracle. We really need the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords to do a great work in this nation. We are needing an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. We have an outpouring of trouble. We have never been so in such a deluge of trouble. So this scripture that we are in tonight Matthew, chapter seven, verse 24, therefore, build your life upon the rock. Sister and brother, wherever you are.

Speaker 2:

Speaker 2:

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, this is live. This is not edited in any way, shape or form. You can gather that my voice is weak because all I do all the day long is record and speak and take services and do everything with my voice. So sometimes my voice gets a bit weak and a bit croaky and it's just hit that place. So I really would appreciate your prayers for my vocal cords and my voice.

Speaker 2:

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ. But we want to encourage you now. We want to encourage you right now. We are about 15 minutes away from breaking bread together. We want to encourage you right now, in the mighty name of jesus christ, to get a bible and we want you to open that bible to the text that we are in and we want you to read. I want you to read matthew, chapter 7, verse 24. Therefore, anyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house upon the rock.

Speaker 2:

If you have a bible, let's turn into the Old Testament. Let's go to the Psalm. You know there's the Psalm of David, psalm 18. Let's go to Psalm 18 a moment. If you're just joining us across the world, good evening and welcome wherever you are across the world. But let me tell you it is raining. It is raining like it has never rained before in the UK. It is not the type of rain that we expect to water the garden and the plants. It's not that type of rain. It is absolutely pouring down with trouble. So this why this scripture is so relevant for where we are right now.

Speaker 2:

In the name of Jesus, god's word overcomes sickness, disease. You know, do you want to see the dead raised. Do you want to see the blind seen? Do you want to see the blind seen? Do you want to hear that the deaf are hearing? Do you want to know that the lame are walking? There is power. In the name of Jesus Christ, you know there is something happening in the heavenly realms. There is something happening right now. God is with you, the Holy Spirit is with you, but it is raining. And we are not talking about the natural rain from the cloud system of the heavens above. We are talking about the rain from number 10, Downing Street. We are talking about the rain of trouble across the world. We are talking about rain that we've never seen before, a spiritual rain.

Speaker 2:

But it is so critical for, wherever you are to grab yourself a Bible to get in the Word of God, for wherever you are to grab yourself a Bible to get in the word of God, the Bible says you know, seek you first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and everything else shall be added unto thee. It's raining, so I need to build upon the rock, because when I build on the rock in storm, when I'm standing on the rock, I don't have to worry. If I build my life on materialism, I don't have to worry. If I build my life on materialism, if I build my life on money, if I build my life on social media, if I build my life on church, if I build my life on ministry, if I build my life on family, if I build my life on friends, if I build my life on socializing, if I build my life on social platforms, when it rains, I will fall. You cannot build anything other than on christ. You've got to build your life on jesus christ. You've got to build your everything in the word. You've got to stand on the word. You've got to get in the word now.

Speaker 2:

This is what the books of psalm says sorry, my voice is cracking up. Verse, uh, verse one. We're going to take it from verse 1. We're in Psalm 18, and it says I love you, o Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock and my fortress, my deliverer. My God is my rock in whom I take refuge. He is my shield, the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I want to tell you tonight the God that you serve is the rock of all ages. The God that you serve, he is your rock.

Speaker 2:

Verse two of Psalm 18, the Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer. He is your fortress. He is your rock, he is your salvation. He is your Jehovah Jireh, jehovah Nissi, he is your Jehovah Shalom. He is the great I am. And God is saying, ben, I want you to trust me. God is telling you tonight, listeners, brothers and sisters, wherever you are across this world, he's telling us to trust him. You know he is the rock of all ages, he is the king of kings and the Lord of Lords. He is the great I am. He is worthy of all praise. He is your salvation. He is your Jehovah Jireh. He is your healer. He is your El Shaddai. He is the king above all kings. You know Jesus Christ loves you. Do you realize that Jesus Christ loves you? And it is raining Tonight.

Speaker 2:

The sun is out, the beautiful weather outside the studio, wherever you are in the UK, I imagine that you've got, excuse me, you've got some beautiful weather, wherever you are across this globe, across the UK tonight. But let me tell you, if you are living in the UK, you will experience a famine that we've never felt before. A famine of what? A famine of the Word of God. This is where we are at this moment in time. What do you mean Rev, about a famine of the word?

Speaker 2:

We are lacking preachers and teachers of the gospel of Jesus Christ. We've got great shows going on in church. We've got great showmanship, we've got great theatrical performances going on, but what we need, we need the word of God. We need it to reign of the Holy Spirit. We need the glory to fall, and I'm not referring to revival, I'm not referring to all that shake it, name it and claim it.

Speaker 2:

I'm talking to an out, about an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. I'm talking about God pouring out his glory, his mercy, his favor over this nation. I'm talking about the love of God just to descend on each and every one of us, wherever you are. Do you need the love of God? Just to descend on each and every one of us, wherever you are? Do you need the love of Jesus tonight? Are you hungry for the biblical truths? Are you going to church and are you getting fed with the word of God, or are you getting fed with sugar-coated preaching? We have so much stuff in this world that is sugar. You know sugar kills. When you look at what sugar does to the body. Sugar coating preaching is extremely dangerous. What we need is biblical truths, we need doctrines, we need the power of the word, we need the love of Christ. Wherever you are tonight, the word of God is speaking to you. The word of God is speaking to me. The fire of God is over you. The power of the Holy Spirit is in you tonight. The love of the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit, wherever you are. Just grab yourself a Bible and throw open the Word of God.

Speaker 2:

We've been in Matthew, chapter 7. Now we are simply in the psalm. And let's read what the psalm says tonight. The psalmist says in Psalm 18, verse 1, I love you, o Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer. Verse 2 tells us of three major areas of freedom. When you look at verse 2, it says the Lord is my rock number one. He says you are my fortress and my deliverer. I'm sorry, my voice is going, but we will be okay.

Speaker 2:

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, you know there is power in the name of Jesus. When you look at these scriptures, psalm 18, verse 2, the Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer. He is my rock, he is my redeemer. Do you know that God is your redemption? Do you know that the power of the Holy Spirit is with you Wherever you are. The fire of God is over you tonight and we want to encourage you to come to the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Speaker 2:

Here in this studio, here in this little studio tucked away in shopping trolley land, we want to encourage you to grab a Bible, to get in the word of God, to rest in the holy word. There is power in the name of Jesus. The love of God is over you. The love of God is with you. The spirit of the living God is with you right now. In the name of Jesus Christ, we want to encourage you, wherever you are across the world, to let the fire of God sit in your spirit, sit in your heart, be with you wherever you are, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. There is power over you tonight. The love of God is with you. The spirit of the living God is with you tonight. So, father, we thank you that the Holy Spirit is here. We're fine, we've got that. Thank you so much. The Lord is with us. It's okay.

Speaker 2:

Spirit of the living God, we thank you that there is presence with the Holy Spirit wherever you are tonight. We want to encourage you right now. The fire of God is over you, spirit of the living God. We pray that the redemption power of God, we pray that the redemption work of God will just rest on you Wherever you are. We pray that the love of Jesus Christ will stir your spirit, whatever is going on in your life. We thank you and we praise you tonight that God will redeem you, that God will strengthen you and the glory of God will just touch your heart and your mind. In Jesus' name, father, we pray.

Speaker 2:

Come on, brothers and sisters, let's get in the Word of God, let's get right in the depth of the Word tonight. Let's get right in the depth of the Word of God that Jesus Christ is with you wherever you are. We want to encourage you, we want to tell you tonight that the love of Jesus is with you right now. Brother and sister, the Lord loves you. The Lord loves you. There is nothing more powerful than the scripture. There is nothing more powerful than the spirit of the living God. The Holy Spirit is with you If you're in Australia, if you're in Swanley, if you're in Dartford, if you're in the UK, if you're in the Ukraine, if you're in Israel, if you're in Russia, china.

Speaker 2:

I shouldn't be mentioning places, because there are too many places that I haven't mentioned, but God is with you wherever you are. You know exactly what I'm saying. You know that the living God is with you. You know the power of the Holy Spirit is in your life. We want to encourage you to be Jesus followers. We want to encourage you to never give up in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. There is fire over your life, but we want to tell you tonight you've got to get a Bible. You've got to get a Bible. You've got to get this word in your spirit. You know the Bible says faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the Word of God. There is power in the Word of God. There is power in victory, there is power in hope. There is power in the Holy Word of God. We want to encourage you to get a Bible.

Speaker 2:

If you need a Bible tonight, if you need that scripture in your life, if you can't get a Bible, get on your phone, get on the device, get on your laptop, get on the iPad, whatever it may be, whatever device you have tonight, go on YouTube and read the Word of God. Get the Word of God coming out from your Alexa, from your iPhone, from your smartphone, from your Alexa from your iPhone, from your smartphone, from your laptop, whatever it may be. Let the fire of God transcend every problem, every situation that you've got. But I want to encourage you tonight to build on the rock of all ages. I want to encourage you tonight to build on the rock of all ages. Put your feet upon the scripture. The Bible says faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of God. The fire of God is with you wherever you are situated. Smile tonight and tell the devil he's got to go. Smile tonight and tell the devil he's got to flee. Smile tonight and let every situation disappear out of your life.

Speaker 2:

If you need healing tonight, pray for the healing. If you need healing tonight, pray for the healing. If you need a miracle, believe for the miracle. If you need financial breakthrough, believe for the financial breakthrough. If you are tired and if you've got ADHD, if you've got fear, if you've got any issue with your body, lay hands on your body tonight. Come on, I'm going to lay a hand on my chest, father. I pray, lord, for each and every one of us, that we will be healed. I pray for my voice, that my voice will be strengthened in Jesus name. Lord, we pray that cancers will go. We pray that heart disease will go. Lord, as we stand upon the rock, as we stand upon the rock of all ages, father, we believe that we are healed. We believe headaches are gone. We believe backaches are gone. We believe bones are being healed. We believe fear is gone. We believe lungs are being healed. Tonight, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we believe in miracles.

Speaker 2:

Wherever you are across the world, you know, we want to encourage you tonight to grab yourself a Bible wherever you are. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, grab yourself a Bible. There's nothing more powerful than the Scripture. You know, look what's happening out. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Grab yourself a Bible. There's nothing more powerful than the scripture. You know, look what's happening out in the Middle East. You know, what is happening out in the Middle East is scripture. What we are seeing unfold is simply prophecy being played out by governments and across this world.

Speaker 2:

We want to encourage you not to be fearful tonight. Are you fearful? Are you worried about what is happening around the world? Don't worry. If you need strength tonight. If you are anxious, if you are worried, if you are doubtful, you know, just grab yourself a bible.

Speaker 2:

Turn to psalm 23. The lord is my shepherd. I shall not want he makes me lie down in green pastures, you know. Thank you to everybody. We're going to come to the table in just a few moments. At nine o'clock, the camera will disappear and we will continue on radio. We want to say thank you to everybody that's listening on rb, christian radio tonight. We want to thank you to everybody that's on live stream with us, want to say thank you to everybody in the world of podcast.

Speaker 2:

But wherever you are at this moment in time, we need you to grab a bible because we are living in critical days. You know, when you look at Israel, when you look at Iran, when you look at the Middle East, when you look at that corridor that runs all the way around, when you look at Palestine and all those areas of life, we need to pray that the love of God and peace will transcend all understanding and all knowledge. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ. But we believe in miracles. Do you believe in miracles tonight? Do you need a miracle in your life? Let me tell you God is real, the power of God is real. Are you searching, are you looking? Have you had a troubled week, a troubled year, a troubled life? Do you feel that you are anxious and you are worried about what is happening around the world? Let me tell you we are about to experience, to see, a war that we've never seen before, and it's got nothing to do with nuclear. It's got to do with land. It's to do with land Everybody is after land and control and it's all to do with Israel. Please, do not, never worry about a nuclear war. You'll have to forgive my voice. It's holding up. I've been speaking all day, all year, all life. We are getting there, but there is power. In the name of Jesus.

Speaker 2:

We're coming to the table in just a few moments and we want to encourage you, wherever you are, to grab a Bible. But before we come to the table, I just want to read this out in Psalm 18, verse 1. I love you, o Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress, my deliverer. My God is my rock in whom I take refuge. He is my shield, the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. There is so much wrapped up in Psalm 18. We have also been in Matthew, chapter 7, and that is a clear text that is talking about building upon the rock. You know, and we pray for you tonight as we come to the table in just a few moments. You know we got about five minutes and we're going to come to the table and we're just going to gather our breath, we're going to gather our thoughts and I pray that wherever you are, for those that are listening in israel, for those that are listening in iran tonight, for those that are listening in Israel, for those that are listening in Iran tonight, for those that are listening in Russia and Ukraine and all around the Middle East. May God bless you and carry you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We want to encourage you as well.

Speaker 2:

Go on to rbchristianradionet. If you need a Bible. Please go on to rbchristianradionet. Go into the emails. Just send us an email. We will get you a Bible wherever you are across the world. It is free. You know God will get you a Bible through your letterbox, wherever you are. All we need is your postal address and we will get you a Bible. But may God bless you and strengthen you. We are living in very interesting days, as I said earlier in this service.

Speaker 2:

It is raining. It is raining, and what I mean by it is raining. It is raining trouble like we've never seen before. The sun is out, the sun is shining. It's a beautiful evening here in the UK. We are looking through the studio window and as you look out through the window of life, it is raining in a way that we've never seen before. It is raining trouble.

Speaker 2:

There are many people in fear. There are many people in fear. There are many people suffering with mental health. As you know, the suicide rate is climbing. The fear rate is climbing. The pressures at work, the pressures of life, the pressures of just being a human being. Now we have this terrific war breaking out, all this stuff breaking out under the table around the Middle East and through Israel and through that corridor and palestine. We've got issues here in the uk. We've got security alerts are heightening in certain places. We've got all these crazy things happening.

Speaker 2:

But please, if you are worried tonight, I want to encourage you to get a bible and as we come to the table, I want you to turn to psalm 23. I want you to turn to psalm 23. The lord is my shepherd. I shall not want he makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters. He restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his namesake, even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death. I will fear no evil, for you are with me, your rod and your staff. They comfort me. Grab yourself a Bible, if you don't have a bible indoors. Get on your device, get on your laptop, your smartphone, get on your ipad and simply just google psalm 23 and psalm 91. Psalm 91, the entire psalm of psalm 91 and psalm 23, verses 1 through to 6. It will give you peace.

Speaker 2:

Do you need peace tonight? Are you worried about work? Are you worried about life? Are you worried about health? What are you worrying about tonight? I want to tell you the God that I serve, the God of Isaac, jacob and Abraham, the God of Israel, the Father of all fathers, the King of kings, above all kings, the Jesus that I serve, the Jesus that I follow, the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit, the deity, is with you. Are you searching for answers to life? Are you tired of your workplace? Are you weary of just keep working for the system?

Speaker 2:

We're coming to the table in around about two minutes and we want to invite you now to grab some bread and some, grab a bit of grape juice and just grab that wherever you are across this world, and we want to encourage you to break bread with us tonight. We are living in a critical time and before we come to the table, I'm just going to pray. I'm going to pray that that god will move through israel and through palestine, and I'm going to pray that god will move all the way through the Middle East. Will you join us tonight, father? We pray for Israel and, father, we pray for an outpouring of your Spirit over Israel.

Speaker 2:

Father, we pray for peace through Israel, palestine. We pray for peace all the way through the Middle East. Tonight, in the name of Jesus, we pray for strength, lord, right now, that the glory of God will descend on each and every one of us. But Father, right now, that the glory of God will descend on each and every one of us. But, father, right now, in the Middle East, we pray, lord, that the love of God will be strong. We pray that the fire of the Holy Spirit will be strong. We pray that Jesus Christ will lift up a standard. We pray that terrorism will stop. We pray that fear will decrease. Father, we ask you tonight that you will do a miracle through Israel and all the way around the Middle East. So, father, as we come to the table, as we break bread tonight, let your will be done, let your glory flow, let your power come out tonight, lord.

Speaker 2:

But, father, we need miracles in our lives. We need the glory of God to shine over this nation and we pray for the UK tonight, lord, that the UK will know Jesus Christ as its Lord and Saviour. For those that are on RB, christian Radio, for those that are on screen and for those that are on audio tonight, wherever they are, I pray for peace in their house. I pray that Christ will move very powerfully, lord, I pray for such an outpouring of your love over their lives that the presence of the Holy Spirit will strengthen people tonight. So, lord, as we are situated here in the UK, as the scripture has been read out, tonight, lord, it is raining and the streams are rising. There is trouble everywhere.

Speaker 2:

But tonight, lord, we need a miracle. So will you build us upon the rock of all ages? Will you put our feet upon the rock so that we will find that we have stable ground under our feet. So wherever anyone is tonight, lord, let the joy of the Lord be their strength, let your holy presence be with them, let your mercy rain down on them, let your glory just penetrate their heart. Tonight we're at the table. We're going to have the Lord's prayer right now. So we invite you to grab a bit of grape juice, a bit of bread, and let's break bread together right now. The Lord's prayer. As we start this, as we go into the communion time together, the Lord's prayer is about to follow right now.

Speaker 3:

I invite you to say the Lord's Prayer with me, our Father, who art in heaven. Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us of our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil, for thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen.

Speaker 2:

Amen, amen, amen, amen. We want to invite you wherever you are. We want to invite you right now, wherever you are tonight. We want to invite you to come to the table and we want to invite you to come to the table and we want to invite you to break bread. So, father, wherever we are across this world, we break bread together, not as religious people, not as churchgoers, but we break bread tonight, lord, as born again, spirit-filled believers in the deity, believers from genesis to revelation. I thank you, lord, that I'm not a churchgoer. I thank you, lord, that I'm not steeped in religion. I thank you, lord, that I am free, because who the sun sets free is free indeed. So bless this bread as we break this together, as it symbolizes the body of christ in Jesus' name, amen.

Speaker 2:

Do you know what we are living in? Really powerful days. We are living in very significant days and, yes, it is raining. And, for those that are joining us at this moment in time, I'm not referring to the rain that softens the dry earth. I'm talking about the rain of trouble, the rain of trouble. Grab yourself some bread, break bread with us together right now. Get yourself a small glass, you know, of grape juice, whatever it is, because this symbolizes the blood of Jesus that was shed at Calvary. And do you know what's happening in the Middle East? Do you know what is really going on? It's all about the God of Israel. There is a spiritual battle that is going on against light and darkness, truth and lies, the cross and other entities. This is scripture. What we are seeing, this is beyond human understanding. We are watching prophecies being fulfilled through the word of God.

Speaker 2:

So this cup that I hold in my hand, this cup is just grape juice, but what it symbolizes is the blood of Jesus that was shed at Calvary's cross. So, father, will you cleanse me from the crown of my head to the sole of my feet? So, father, we thank you for the power of the word of God. And you know, this cup that we hold here at Christ, held around the Passover table, it was the cup of redemption. Do you know that Genesis, from Genesis, chapter one, to Revelations, is about redemption? Do you know the whole Bible is about redeeming, bringing back, restoring. Do you need bringing back? Is your mind awash tonight? Are you fearful of life? You know Christ has redeemed you.

Speaker 2:

It's not about going into church, it's about believing. It's about having a belief. So, father, I believe in the deity, the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit, and will you cleanse me, from the crown of my head to the sole of my feet, in the name of Jesus. Father, I thank you for this cup. It symbolizes the blood of Christ that was shed at Calvary's cross.

Speaker 2:

In Jesus' name, amen, wherever you are tonight, I want to invite you to pray this prayer. I want to invite you to pray this, father, in the name of Jesus, will you give me strength in my life, father? Will you help me? Lord, I don't go to church, god, I struggle to believe. But, lord, I need help in my life. So tonight, lord, as I sit indoors, as I sit in the van, as I walk across this life, lord, father, in the name of Jesus, I'm asking you to come into my life and to restore me and to heal me, to set me free tonight. So, father, I'm struggling to believe, I'm struggling with life, I'm not sure I'm scared to go to church, but tonight, jesus, tonight, god, if you are real, will you touch my heart, please, god, I need you. Amen.

Speaker 2:

Sisters and brothers, alex is just going to bring a prayer to the table and then, in just a few moments. You know we've got about nine minutes left before we finish this service tonight, but we want to encourage you tonight to be a jesus follower. It's not about going to church, it's about being in the word of god. If you need that bible, we will get you a bible. Find us on rbchristianradionet, email us, we will get you a bible. They are free. We will get you a bible wherever you are across this world. Alex, you got a prayer for us yes, I have.

Speaker 4:

Let us pray. Lord jesus, you are the solid rock beneath our feet, the firm foundations that hold when everything else is shaken. Today we heard your word. Now help us live it. Help us build Wisely, not quickly, deeply, not just visibly. May we not be heathers only, but faithful doors. And now we come to the table. We remember the ones who face the ultimate storms. The cross, it did not fall. You bought the flood of judgment so we could stand secure in grace you are. You are our living water, our bread of life and a constant stone of life, and a constant stone. Wash us clean, lord of a trust with mercy. Straighten us from the scared of moments and remember your body broken, your blood poured out not on sand but on a rock solid Promise that you will never leave us or shaken us. Bless every heart in judgment. Please help us build this country and build everything around us. We do not want anyone to be gone, amen.

Speaker 2:

Amen, sister and Brother. Thank you, alex. I want to take us back to the beginning, where we was earlier on, in Matthew, chapter 7. You know God is calling you. The Holy Spirit is leading you. I want to take us back to the beginning, where we was earlier on in Matthew, chapter 7. You know God is calling you. The Holy Spirit is leading you.

Speaker 2:

Maybe you've been in a church a thousand years. Maybe you've never been in church because it's irrelevant. The church is irrelevant to what is happening. The church in the UK is extremely weak. The church in the UK is finished. In the UK is extremely weak. The church in the UK is finished. The church in the UK has no relevance to what really is happening around the world and what is happening within society and culture and the practicality of life. So if you are in church and you're finding that church isn't getting you to the place, that it should leave the church and grab yourself a Bible, because it's about the word. It's not about the building, it's about believing, it's about belonging to the kingdom, because the kingdom has nothing to do with this structure around us. The structure is going to stay here, but the kingdom of God is what I've got to be found in.

Speaker 2:

So, as we come to the close and we've just got a few minutes left tonight, I want to start reading from Matthew, chapter 7, verse 24. Therefore, anyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house upon the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, the winds blew and beat against the house, yet it did not fall because its foundation was on the rock. But anyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house upon the sand. The rain came down, the streams rose and the wind blew against that house, and it beat against that house and it fell with a great crash.

Speaker 2:

Don't build your life on finances, don't build your life on work, don't build your life on mortgages. Don't build your life on government, don't build your life on the church. Build your life upon the rock, because when you've got a firm foundation, you've got a place to stand. When you've got a place to stand, you've got a place of hope. And I pray that, wherever you are tonight in the close of this service, that you will realize that the Redeemer is redeeming, that the King is coming and the King is in the house. The King is in your life, the King of kings and the Lord of lords. He is the great. I am Built upon the rock. What is the rock? The rock is God. What is God? God is the word. What is the word? The word is Jesus.

Speaker 2:

If you have a Bible in these clothes of this service, turn to one. John. The gospel of John, john, chapter one. In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God. He was with God in the beginning.

Speaker 2:

Build your life on Jesus, build your life on the rock of all ages. Build your life on the power of the Holy Spirit. It's not about church, it's not about this ministry, it's not about this building. It's not about religion. It's not about Catholicism, it's not about anything to do with religion. It's about building your life on Jesus Christ.

Speaker 2:

Listen to this music Come Jesus, come, come Holy Spirit, redeem us, carry us. Lord, wherever you are tonight, we pray that you will build your life on the rock, and that rock is God. That rock is the King of Kings, that rock is the great I Am. Build your life on the king, the scriptures that we've been in tonight. They will lead you, they will guide you, they will carry you, they will nurture you, they will strengthen you, they will lead you, they will give you hope, because it's not about church, it's about the king, it's not about religion, it's about the creator of heaven and earth, it's about Jesus, and I want to tell you, in the close of this service, that Jesus Christ loves you.

Speaker 2:

Jesus Christ went to the cross for you. Jesus Christ said at the cross of Calvary Father, forgive them, for they know, no, what they do. There was bloodshed at the cross. The crown of thorns was pressed upon his forehead. They crowned him the king of the Jews. They crowned him the king of the Jews, the king of the Jews. He's the king of the Jews, the king of the Jews. He's the king of your life, he's the king of my life. He's the king above all kings.

Speaker 2:

And you can't give up. You've got to stand on the rock of all ages. You've got to build your life upon the rock. You've got to build your life on Jesus. You've got to press into the word of God. You've got to build your life on Jesus. You've got to press into the Word of God. You've got to hold on to the Scripture, because it is the power of the Scripture, it is the power of the breath of God. The same breath that brought Christ back to life on the third day, the same power that spoke this world into existence is speaking into your heart tonight. You are healed, you are saved, you are blessed, you are redeemed, you are chosen. God loves you, but build your life on Jesus, build your life on hope, build your life on the blood of Christ. Build your life on the foundation that is above everything else. May God bless you as we come to the close of this service.
