Trusting God When Everything Falls Apart

What happens when everything you leaned on disappears? Who stands beside you when your world is shaken?

In this powerful episode, Pastor Ben Cooper teaches from Proverbs 3:1–8, delivering a life-giving message about what it means to truly trust in the Lord. As the world gets louder and our lives grow more complex, this word is a timely reminder: your strength is not in people, platforms, or performance—but in God's presence.

We explore the contrast between today’s culture of distraction and the timeless wisdom of scripture. Are you spending more time on social media or in the Word? Pastor Ben cuts through the noise and challenges us to evaluate what’s feeding our soul.

He shares a practical spiritual rhythm anyone can follow:

  • Psalm 23 at night for peace when the day ends
  • Psalm 91 in the morning for strength before the battle begins
  • The Lord’s Prayer daily to align with God’s will

This isn't about religion—it’s about daily intimacy with Jesus Christ, especially when life feels uncertain.

Drawing on David’s darkest moment in 1 Samuel 30, we discover that spiritual resilience isn’t built in comfort. It’s forged in trials. David found strength in the Lord when everything else failed. So can you.

Pastor Ben also poses hard but necessary questions:

“Who would lock shields with you in the fire? Who stands with you when everyone else walks away?”

This message invites us to reflect on the quality of our relationships and the depth of our faith. Are the people around you pushing you closer to Christ—or pulling you away from Him?

The episode ends with a moving Holy Communion moment, inviting listeners into a personal act of surrender and renewal through the cross of Christ. The focus remains clear: Don’t follow the crowd. Don’t follow a man. Follow Jesus—the only One who will never fail.

Speaker 2:

Let's turn to the good book of Proverbs. Let's turn to Proverbs, chapter three. You know I love this book, proverbs, chapter three. We're going to go from verse one, we go to about verse eight and I'll read it and we'll just have a look and see how the Holy Spirit leads us this evening. But welcome to every one of you. Get yourself comfortable, grab yourself a cup of coffee, you know, and let's get straight in, as you can see. You know I've had a mcdonald's. Yes, I've got a mcdonald's coffee here. May god bless you if you can see that cup on the pod room table there, in the name of jesus christ.

Speaker 2:

Now, uh, verse one of proverbs, chapter three. This is a beautiful bit of proverbs, it's a lovely piece of scripture, and we want to encourage you tonight, wherever you are across the world, to be a Jesus follower, to follow the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, because the word is the way forward and whatever your life looks like, I want to tell you right now, from firsthand experience, that the power of the word of God changes everything. The power of scripture changes everything. God takes you to the, everything God takes you to the wire. God takes you to the river Jordan. But you know what, when you trust the word and it can be the most difficult thing in the world is to trust the word, because, basically, what we are doing, we are trusting in this invisible God. We have the scripture, we have the power of the Holy Spirit, but the world is rattling and beating the drum, and the drum that the world is beating is where is your God?

Speaker 2:

I can't see your God here, but let me tell you this the God that you serve, the God of Israel, the father of Isaac, jacob and Abraham, you know El Shaddai, jehovah Jireh, jehovah Nissi, jehovah Shalom, your God is with you and trust me from the very bottom of my heart God will make a way where there seems to be no way. So, wherever you are at this hour, grab yourself a Bible, jump straight on the Scripture with us right now, in the name of Jesus Christ and we are in the book of Proverbs and wherever you are, let's turn right now to Proverbs, chapter 3, verse 1, through to 8. And I want to guarantee you that God will make a way in the desert. I want to guarantee to you, knight, that God will show up in your life, because God has a plan for you. God loves you beyond human understanding and God has a beautiful, beautiful life for you. And it's through the word of God.

Speaker 2:

The scripture says seek ye first the kingdom of god and his righteousness, and everything else shall be added unto thee without further ado. I've said it more times and I can count verse uh one of proverbs, chapter three, and it says my son, do not forget my teaching, but keep my command in your heart, for they will prolong your life by many years and bring you prosperity. Let love and faithfulness never leave you. Bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win favor and good name in the sight of God and also then in man.

Speaker 2:

Verse 5 of Proverbs, chapter 3. Trust in the Lord with all your heart. I love that. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your path straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes. Shun evil. Oh sorry, let me start that again, verse 7. Do not be wise in your own eyes. Fear the Lord and shun evil. I should say this will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones. Thank you, jesus. You know this word is powerful. The word of God is your food. The word of God is your strength. The word of God is the shield. The word of God is the double-edged sword. The word of God will get you through If you're in the valley, if you're troubled, if you're weary, if you're doubt.

Speaker 2:

Look at what these scriptures says. This is speaking to you right now, wherever you are across the world. Hold on to this holy word of God. It says my son, do not forget my teachings Now, lord. What are your teachings, lord, now? This is really easy for us to understand, isn't it? Because what are the teachings of God? It is from Genesis to Revelations. It is the Old Testament and the New Testament. It is the 66 books that God has given us through the Word of God. It is the Old Testament, it is the New Testament, it is this living, living being. It is the Word of God. God is calling you now. He says do not forget my teachings, Every area of your life. There is a scripture that applies to your life. There is a scripture that applies to every situation. There is a scripture waiting for you tonight and let me remind you. God is saying my son, do not forget my teachings. It is key, it is fundamental. It is critical for us as Bible believing believers that we don't forget the Word of God.

Speaker 2:

If you have a Bible, turn to the book of Joshua, that great book of Joshua, chapter 1,. And as you read Joshua, chapter 1, god says to Joshua and he says tell the Israelites and everyone around you, do not let this book of the Lord depart from your mouth. Meditate on it day and night. And then it gives us a list of what will happen to us in our lives. We want to encourage you now, in the mighty name of jesus christ, that the word of god will make a way in the desert. The word of god will make a way in them bleak areas.

Speaker 2:

The word of god is for you. The word of god is leading you. The word of god will heal you. The word of god will deliver you. It is the scripture, it is not church, it is not ministry. Deliver you, it is the scripture, it is not church, it is not ministry. It is not your brother or your sister, it is not your family. It is not your husband, your wife, it is not your best friend, it is not your social network connections that will get you blessed. It is no one but Jesus Christ.

Speaker 2:

Let me read this again Do not forget my teachings, but keep my commands in your heart. How do I get this word onto my heart? The Bible says, you know, put the word of God on the tablet of your heart. You've got to get it through your eye gate and through your ear gate. You've got to hear the word. You've got to read the word. You've got to just keep in the word of God. I want to encourage you tonight. When you're driving, wherever you're commuting, if you go on the commute every morning and you're listening to music, to radio stations, I want to encourage you. If you're in your car, your van, your vehicle, I would say this put on the Bible Gateway and listen to the Word of God being read. Find yourself a Bible app where you can hear the Word of God coming out of your earbuds, your headphones, out of your phone, whatever it may be.

Speaker 2:

It is critical that we live in such powerful times. It is critical now that we get in the Word of God. It is critical like never before, that you, as a Bible-believing believer not as a churchgoer, but as a born-again, spirit-filled believer trust in the Word of God, get in the teachings, get in His righteousness, get in the skin of the word. God is with you wherever you are. We want to encourage you now never to give up in the word of God. Trust the word of God. There is a scripture for you, there is a word for you, and the word tonight is do not let this book of the Lord depart from your mouth. Meditate on it day and night. The book of Joshua tells us God is saying come on, joshua, come on. Tell everybody in your life, do not let this book depart from your mouth. Trust in the word of God, even when it's dark, even when it's bleak, even when the world is doing what the world is doing. Never give up in the reading of the word. Read the word, listen to the word. When you're on a commute, get the word of God in your ears, get the word of God through your eyes. Before you go to sleep at night, just read one section of the word of God. Find a little section, even if you said you committed yourself. Before I go to sleep. What I'm going to do is I'm going to read Psalm 23. It's easy, it flows off of your tongue. It is easy to read when you're tired and when you're weary, but you know that word is so powerful. I want to tell you tonight to encourage yourself, to strengthen yourself in the Lord.

Speaker 2:

David, you know, king David hit a point in his life when everyone in his life turned on him. Everyone turned on David. David went out to battle. They came back and everything had been stripped, you know, from their lives. Everything was missing. The fighting men turned on King David. They turned on him. They wanted to stone him. David went off and he cried out to God for three days and God said stop crying. And David basically said, as I paraphrase, he said what do I do now?

Speaker 2:

It says the scripture that David strengthened himself in the Lord. I want to encourage you tonight to strengthen yourself. You can't rely on anybody else to strengthen you. You can't allow your parents, you can't think that your brother, your sister, your wife, your husband, your friend, your pastor, no one can strengthen you in the Lord except yourself. You've got to get in the word. You've got to be in that word. You've got to be standing on that word. You've got to be trusting that word. That word is power, that word is life. And the Bible says David strengthened himself in the Lord. And we have to strengthen ourselves in the Lord when it gets rough, when it gets hairy, when it gets bad, when it gets bleak, when it gets weary. When it gets bad, when it gets bleak, when it gets weary, when it gets tiring, when it gets exhausting.

Speaker 2:

I want to encourage you tonight to get yourself a Bible and if you are in trouble tonight, flick over Psalm Psalm 23. It's an easy Psalm. It's a beautiful Psalm. The Psalm just rolls off your tongue. You can just meditate on that. And it says this you know the Lord is my shepherd. I shall not want he makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside quiet waters. He restores my soul. He guides me. God wants to guide you. He would lead you right in the battlefield.

Speaker 2:

Six verses of Psalm 23. I want to encourage you to read that every night. I want to encourage you to read that in the morning. I want you to put that on your phone. I want you to print it off and put it on your fridge door. I want you to put it on your desk, leave it as a screensaver on your phone, get into Psalm 23. It is power, it is life.

Speaker 2:

And if you have the capacity to go a little bit further, get into Psalm 91. You know, lives are so busy, our mind is so full of so much. Try not to give yourself too much to do. Don't carve out so much scripture that it becomes tiring and weary. Start off tiny, start off small. Psalm 23, six verses the Lord is my shepherd. And then, when you feel that you've got that, go to Psalm 91. Psalm 91, beautiful Psalm. It's a longer Psalm, you know. So just take those two Psalms, maybe read one at night, maybe Psalm 23 at night and Psalm 91 in the morning.

Speaker 2:

And let me tell you this meditate on them scriptures. Just concentrate on them two Psalms Psalm 23 at night, psalm 91 in the morning, before your day begins and you hold on to the word of God because God has great things for you. The devil is a liar. You're not who the world says you are. You are not who your family says you are. You are not who your culture says you are. Do not bow down to historical things. Stand on the word of God and believe the word is going to set you free. There is power in the greatest name in heaven and earth, and at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow on the earth, under the earth, through the earth, every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. Realize who you are in Christ, realize that there is power in the name of Jesus. And let's get back into these scriptures.

Speaker 2:

It says in Proverbs, chapter three, verse one my son, do not forget my teachings. Psalm 23, psalm 91, hold on to that with every amount of energy you got. It says but keep my commands in your heart. I love this. Look at verse two, for they will prolong your life by many years. Let me tell you this there's healing for you, there's miracles for you, because the Bible says it If God is who God says he is, if this God is this big and so powerful, he has to bring fruition. He has to execute his word. If you preach this word, if you read this word and you put this word over your life every day, every moment, every time, you know Psalm 23 at night, when you're weary, psalm 91 in the morning, when you're fresh and you're ready to go, keep that rhythm going.

Speaker 2:

The devil, let me tell you the devil will do everything he can do to stop you reading the word of God, because there's nothing more powerful than a Bible-believing believer, believing in the word of God, trusting for healing, trusting for financial breakthrough, trusting that miracles are going to come along. The devil is a liar. You are not who the world says you are. You are blessed and highly favoured, wonderfully and fearfully made. The power of God is in your life. The scripture is over you. You are anointed. You are not a churchgoer, you are not a religious person. You are chosen for such a time as this. The devil is defeated through the power of his words.

Speaker 2:

Psalm 23,. When are we going to read it At night? Psalm 91,. When are we going to read it In the morning? Get them scriptures in your innermost being. Don't take massive chunks of scripture because our minds at this moment are weighed down with so much going on. Just meditate on just a few verses of the word of God and just keep repeating it. Get it in your spirit, get it on your tongue. Out of your belly shall flow rivers of living water.

Speaker 2:

You know what it's like when you try and do so much reading. We get tired, we get weary. It goes through one ear and out the other ear and we become completely lost in what we are reading. Take small amount of scripture, get hold of the scripture, put the scripture in your innermost being. Let me say this I would say, for about six months to a year, just take those two Psalms and make that your goal At night, psalm 23. Early in the morning, when you rise, and when you've got a moment, psalm 91. Just keep them punching out and then, if you can do any more, go to the Gospel of Matthew, chapter 6, and take the Lord's Prayer.

Speaker 2:

If you do not and you're weary of praying and you're struggling for prayer, look, take those three areas of Scripture Psalm 23 at night, psalm 91 in the morning and wherever you can get, and whenever you think about prayer, look, take those three areas of scripture Psalm 23 at night, psalm 91 in the morning and wherever you can get, and whenever you think about prayer, take the Lord's prayer. That prayer, that prayer is so powerful, the only prayer given to all humanity by the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. If you take that prayer and you pray that prayer and you read that psalm and you meditate on Psalm 23, the Lord is my shepherd, then you take Psalm 91, he who dwells in the shelter of the most high. You know you. Take those three areas of scripture. You've got dynamite, you've got power. You've got anointing. The only prayer that Christ gives all humanity is nestled in the New Testament.

Speaker 2:

Get it in your spirit, put it in your heart, put it on your phone, put it as your screensaver, put it on your laptop, put it everywhere you go. Get the scripture in your innermost being, because this is what the God says that we serve. God has to do this. God has to do it. If he doesn't do it, he can't be God.

Speaker 2:

Come on, god, show yourself, reveal yourself what God is saying. You have not because you ask not. How do I ask? I ask through the word of God, I ask through scripture, because God cannot let his word return void. God has to fulfill what has been written and so often, as the church and religion, we do not preach and we do not get the word of God in our spirit. We get in this woke and this weak way of this rhythm of church and we get in this rhythm that is very, very weak. What we've got to do is go back to sound doctrine. We've got to go back to the word. We've got to get in the word. We've got to be on the word. You know, god has put your feet upon the rock and you've got to read. Let me tell you, you've got to read. It is the most critical thing that we do in our lives is to read scripture. Don't get massive chunks of scripture because we can't and we don't have the capacity to do that, because we are so pressured by the world and by the environment.

Speaker 2:

Yes, I can hear all the do-gooders out there. Well, I've got to make time. I've got to make time. Yes, I can make time. But I'm speaking to those that are busy, that are tearing their life in pieces, that are juggling more things than they can juggle. Let me tell you this you take Psalm 23 when it's time to go to sleep and you read that and you read it, and you read it and you get that in your spirit. And then, when you wake in the morning, get Psalm 91 in your heart, start speaking Psalm 91 at the noon of the beginning of the day, and then, when you get a chance and when your prayer time, or when you're driving, you're commuting and you're doing whatever you do, I tell you now take the Lord's prayer.

Speaker 2:

The most powerful prayer the devil will ever hear is coming from the scripture. If you want to see foundations shaken, if you want to see healing come along, if you want to see the dead raised, if you want to see the devil get a whipping and a licking and a kicking, you start getting in the word of God. If you want to see cancer bow. If you want to see heart disease bow. If you want to see lungs restored, hearts renewed, if you want to see your body being strengthened, if you want to see the word of God like you've never seen it before, let's put the word of God to flight. Let's put the word to God to flight.

Speaker 2:

How do we put the word of God to flight? We speak the word of God. You speak the word over your life, over your ADHD, over your fear, over your post-traumatic stress disorder. You put the word over your temptations. You put the word over your sickness. You put the word over your finances. You put the word over yourself. You put the word in your innermost being. You hold on to the greatest word the world has ever heard.

Speaker 2:

Let's get back into these scriptures. This is what God says. This is the God that we serve. This is the God of all creation, and he says for they will prolong your life by many years and bring you prosperity. God has to answer what his word is put out to do. If I do not put his word out, there's nothing to be expected. But if I put his word out, everything is to be expected, and I have to get it as it is written in the Word of God.

Speaker 2:

Do not rely on the social medias, do not rely on the fake church, do not rely on me, do not rely on this place, do not rely on this ministry. You put your trust in the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit. We're here to guide. That's all we're here. To do is just to throw open the envelope and for you to take hold of the word of God. Don't rely on me, don't rely on this ministry, Don't rely on none of that. You put everything you got in the word of God. You put everything you got in this scripture.

Speaker 2:

And whether you're tired, whether you're weary, whether you're exhausted, let me remind you right now, at night, just before you're about to sleep, when you're really tired, take Psalm 23, six verses. Put it on your phone, stop scrolling on social media, and put it on your phone and you read the word over your life. You speak the word of God over your life. Stop scrolling and stop messing around. We've got to stop messing around with the devil's playground. If you want to see cancer bow, if you want to see history disappear from your life, if you want to see financial breakthrough, if you want to see cancer bow, if you want to see history disappear from your life, if you want to see financial breakthrough, if you want to see things in your life turn around, it can only be the God of Israel.

Speaker 2:

Let me tell you this social media won't turn anything around. Social media won't give you the blessing. Social media won't put money down on the table. Social media won't feed the kids. Social media won't get you to where you got to be. It is only the word of God and the power of the Holy Spirit.

Speaker 2:

Do you realize that the spirit of the living God is living within you? Do you realize that you are not an orphan? Do you realize that you're grafted in? Do you realize that the power of God is living inside of you? You are anointed, you are chosen, you are blessed and highly, highly favored. The fear of god is with you.

Speaker 2:

The devil cannot stand scripture. The devil cannot argue with scripture. The devil can argue with the world's way. The devil can tell you uh, draw you into social media. The devil can play around with social media because the social media is the devil's playground and he will tell you you're not worth anything. He will tell you everything you don't want to hear. But the playground and he will tell you you're not worth anything. He will tell you everything you don't want to hear, but the word of God will tell you everything that your spirit needs to hear.

Speaker 2:

You know we have lost ourselves in social media. It is really sad. There are so many Bible believing believers that are looking into social media, spending their life in social media and not spending their time in the word. There are many pastors and leaders spending more times increasing their profile, having five social media accounts and feeding their social media accounts and putting posts up rather than reading the word of God. I wonder why we are so spiritually thin in the church in the UK? Because we have ministers and we have leaders more worried about their profile and then their social media status than worried about their salvation and more worried about what the world says them. Have I got another? Like Did someone give me another heart? Did someone look after this? Do not waste your time on social media. If you stay on social media, you are going to get caught in the devil's arguments.

Speaker 2:

If you get in the word of God, god has to put angels to flight. Concerning you, god has a plan for your life. God loves you and he's telling me, he's telling Alex, he's telling every one of us on radio, on visuals, on live streaming podcast get into the word of God. Let me tell you this you don't need me. I'm irrelevant to your life. You don't need me. You don't need Elim. You don't need this radio station. We are just here as little, tiny, insignificant helps. God is what you need. You need God like never before. I need God like never before. Alex needs God like never before. We all need God like never before.

Speaker 2:

We cannot rely on any ministry, we cannot rely on the church. We have got to get in the holy word of God and we've got to saturate ourselves. Let's remind ourselves what it says. We've got 11 minutes about. No, I've lied, no, we've got about minutes or so, and we are coming very swiftly to the breaking of the bread and the taking of the table, but get yourself a Bible. That is the greatest investment you will ever have.

Speaker 2:

If you're in bed and if you're weary, if you're tired, if you're suffering with depression, throw open Psalm 23 right now and let me tell you God will heal you. If you are fearful and scared, throw open the Word of God Psalm 91, and read it. If you're crying right now and you are lost in the complicated world that we live in, do not go any further. Turn the television off now, in the name of Jesus. Turn the TV off, turn the radio off and get into the Word of God.

Speaker 2:

Let me tell you if you need financial breakthrough, get in Psalm 23, psalm 91., get the Lord's Prayer, those three key areas of the Word of God. God will elevate, god will lead, god will feed, god will provide, god will do what the Word of God says. But I've got to put the Word of God out in the name of Jesus. This is what he says, for he will prolong your life by many years and bring you prosperity. Let love and faithfulness never leave you. Bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God.

Speaker 2:

We always do the reverse. We are looking for favor and we are looking for a good name in the eyes of the human beings. We are looking for validation in human beings rather than saying God, I know, my self-worth is in Christ. I don't need anybody in my life, I don't need another human being. I'm not relying on anybody else, because my God shall supply all my needs. According to thy riches in glory, my God shall make a way. My God is the King of Kings. My God is the one that I serve. He is the one that is going to throw open the floodgates of heaven. Do not put your reliance on anybody in your life. Put your hope and everything you've got in the scripture. It's great to have biblical people around you. It's great to have people around you that know the word of God.

Speaker 2:

Do not associate yourself. Do not get caught in the web and in the devil's fishing net of people that don't know Jesus. Why are we hanging around with people that don't know Jesus? Why are we listening to people that only know the devil? Why are we getting engaged in areas of conflict with people that only know Lucifer? Why are we allowing these people to control us? Why are we allowing the devil's playground, social media, to lead us down the rabbit hole? Why are we allowing these pigs and these dogs of history you know the dogs and the pigs of history to control your destiny?

Speaker 2:

The power of God is with you. Do not allow those things in life to hold you back. There is a great future for you. Destiny lies before you. The word of God says he will give you long life, by many years. He will bring you prosperity.

Speaker 2:

It says trust in the Lord, verse five we are coming very, very swiftly. You know verse five trust in the lord of all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge him and he will make your path straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes. Fear the lord and shun evil, for this uh will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones. These scriptures are healing. These scriptures are what I need in my life. These scriptures are yes and amen. This word of god is holy power.

Speaker 2:

Let me tell you what the bible says trust in the lord. Trust in the lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. Let's not allow ourselves to lean on ourselves. Do not lean on yourself, because if I lean on myself, I will look at my self-worth and I will look at what the world says about me. And I do not want to know what the world says about me anymore, because I'm sick and tired of listening to what the world says about me. I want to know who I am in God.

Speaker 2:

Do you know who you are in the word of God? Are you tired of people running you down? Who in your life can you rely on? Who is the person? How many people in your life can you literally say have my back, no matter what happens in my life? Who would stand with you if everything went down? Who would stand with you and hold you up? Who would put their arm around you and say, ben, don't worry about anything? Who would stand with you in the battlefield of life? Who is there that you could lock shields of faith with? How many people have you got in your life when you have found that you have hit the wall, when you're about to fall off the peg? Who has been in your life when it has hit the fan of life, when the rubber hits the road? Where are these people on social media? Where is your family? Where are your friends? Where are your social crowd when suddenly it all breaks out? Where are these people at work when suddenly all hell breaks loose on your life?

Speaker 2:

Isn't it interesting that no one wants to know us? When it goes completely pig-tongued, no one wants to know us. When it goes completely bad, no one wants to know us. We are pushed out of the social crowd, we are pushed out of the family pen, we are pushed out, we are left out. But let me tell you this if you want a fair bit of lollipop, everyone wants to be your friend. Suddenly, if you get notoriety, everybody wants to be your friend. Let me tell you this, lee, not on your own understanding. Do not rely on people on social media and I'm not referring to the brothers and sisters on this timeline and I'm not referring to that. You know exactly what I mean those fake and plastic people on social media. You know. Do not rely on what social media is offering you, because it is empty, it is fake. And when the fire of life gets turned up, when the fire of life gets turned up, you will find these fake and plastic people will melt in the face of adversity.

Speaker 2:

Find yourself someone that will stand with you. Find yourself someone that will stand with you. Find yourself someone that will pray with you. Find yourself someone that will lock shields of faith with you. Find someone that will hold you up when things are getting bad. Find someone in your life that you know that they've got your back. Find someone that will never foul you. Find someone in your life, but let me tell you this your struggle, your struggle, because we shouldn't put our hope in what the world is offering. There might be one or two people in your life that will walk with you when it's bad. There might be one that will walk with you when it's bad. There might be one that will walk with you when it's bad, but the reality of life, when it's bad, it's zero. It's gone. The battle of life, but we've got to remind ourselves that it's the word that I need.

Speaker 2:

You might have some lovely people around you, so this doesn't apply to you. You might have some people that would support you no matter what. You might have some people that will carry you through no matter what. That's amazing, but we have to disassociate ourselves spiritually with people that are following Lucifer, people that are unequally yoked. We got to be careful who we listen to, who we socialize with, who we walk with, who we spend our time with, who are the people influencing your life? Are they Jesus followers? Are the people that are influencing your life? Are they real, born again brothers and sisters? Who are and where are the people that are influential in your spiritual growth? Who are the ones that are edifying you when you need prayer? Who are the ones that will stand with you when the fire gets turned up? The ones that will stand with you when the fire gets turned up, when you get thrown in the lion's den and you get thrown into that situation and all hell is breaking out around you. Who would lock shields with you when you get put in the fiery furnace, like Meshach, shamrach and Abednego, how many people would walk with you? Let me tell you, it's Jesus. Jesus is the one that is calling you.

Speaker 2:

You might have one person in your life that is a prayer warrior. You might have someone in your life that is a born-again Christian that understands you, but the majority of people in our lives don't even know us. They judge us on history. They judge us on on what they think about us. There are too many words going out about us that are not true. We need to get in the word of God. As we come now to the table in any moment, any moment. We're a minute out and we're going to be at the table as we break bread together tonight. I want to encourage you to make sure you know who you are in Christ.

Speaker 2:

That scripture that we've been in the Bible says trust in the Lord, verse five of Proverbs, chapter three trust in the Lord with all your heart. Lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge him Every way, every area of your life. Don't make excuses up for following ungodly people. Don't make excuses up for socializing with ungodly people, because they won't lead you to the cross. They'll lead you to Lucifer. Don't make any excuses for hanging and socializing around with people that don't need Jesus. Yes, the Bible says go into all the world, let your light shine. Let your light shine. That's a different understanding altogether. Go into all the world and tell the world about jesus, but don't let the devil worshipers tell you about lucifer. Do not engage in the devil's playground. Be careful what we watch, what we listen, who we socialize with, who we walk on this earth with.

Speaker 2:

Let me ask you this, a rhetorical question the people in your life. Are they taking you to Jesus or are they taking you to Lucifer? How many people you got in your life are born again Christians? How many people you got in your life that are so worldly? It is unbelievable. How many people in your life do you know that you can count on for help? How many people in your life are following the devil's way? Are you following the devil's way through other people or are we following Jesus? It's about Jesus. We're at the table. Sorry, I'm over. I'm over time. We've got to move swiftly. Right now we're going to have the Lord's Prayer and at this moment in time, I want to encourage you to make serious decisions tonight like you've never made before in your life, because Jesus Christ is coming back. He's coming. The King is coming. God bless you. We're at the table right now. Amen.

Speaker 3:

I invite you to say the Lord's Prayer with me, our Father, who art in heaven. Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us of our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil, for thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen.

Speaker 2:

Hallelujah, hallelujah, father. I ask you tonight, lord, that we will be brothers and sisters that follow the word of God, that we will follow the holy word of God and as we break bread together now, as Bible-believing believers, lord, help me not to follow the crowd of Lucifer, but to follow Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. Lord, I'm sorry where I foul you. I'm sorry, lord, where I make mistakes. I'm sorry, lord, that I let you down. I'm sorry, lord, that I make mistakes. I'm sorry, lord, that I let you down. I'm sorry, lord, that I make head decisions and not heart decisions. I'm sorry, lord and Lord, I come to you tonight as a Bible-believing believer and I say, jesus, will you cover me in the blood tonight? Will you bring me to the cross and restore me? Will you, dear God, bring clarity to my head and my heart now, in the name of Jesus, spirit of the living God. Lord, we need you, I need you, jesus. I'm not frightened of telling the world I need Jesus. I need Jesus like never before in my life. Right now, I need the fire of God. I need the fire of God. I need Jesus, I need him. Lord, I need you, father, I need you right now. In the name of Jesus, spirit of the living God, we ask you, lord, that you will strengthen us now and as we break bread together. Now, in the name of Jesus, help me. Help me to be a better person through the word of God. Help me, lord, to be a better person through the word of God. Help me, lord, to be a better human being. I'm sorry, lord, I've got baggage. I'm sorry, lord, that I foul. I'm sorry, lord, that I make mistakes, but from this night on, lord, lead me in paths of righteousness. I thank you for this bread that symbolizes the body of Christ. And right now, lord, I thank you as I take this bread and dip it in this cup. And Lord, in the name of Jesus, I thank you for this bread because it symbolizes the body of Christ. Bless it as I take it Wherever we are across the world. Amen. Sisters and brothers, I want to encourage you tonight.

Speaker 2:

Tonight, don't follow those people that are following lucifer. It's a harsh thing to say, but they're robbing your peace, they're robbing your joy, they're robbing you what god has for you. We do not have any more time to waste hanging around devil worshippers. It's harsh, it's strong, but it's fact. The devil is trying to feed you lies. The devil is trying to feed you false hope through people in your life that are not.

Speaker 2:

I'm not talking about churchgoers, because there's many devil worshippers in church. I'm talking about Bible believing believers that are true, born again, and they know their failings. They know that they slide on the ice of life, but they pick themselves up because they know their Redeemer lives. So, father, as I take this cup, this redemption cup, cleanse me from the crown of my head to the sole of my feet. Come, holy Spirit, remove people in our lives that are not edifying our lives, lord. We're tired, lord, of not being encouraged, strengthened in the Lord. So, lord, will you remove people from our lives that are taking us to the devil's territory? Lord, put people in our lives that will keep us at the cross and help us to push on and never give up. Cover me in the blood from the crown of my head to the sole of my feet. In Jesus' name, amen. Do you know what? There is power?

Speaker 2:

In the name of Jesus, alex is going to share a prayer, as he always does, and we want to tell you tonight. We want to tell you that Jesus loves you. We want to tell you that there is power in the name of Jesus. We want to tell you that through the book of Proverbs, chapter 3. Proverbs, chapter 3, verse 1 through to 8, is for you tonight. It's for you. Tonight God is wiping your tears, god is restoring your heart, god is making a way for you in your life.

Speaker 2:

Don't ever, ever listen to those people in your life that are following the devil. Don't ever listen to them that are following the devil. In the name of Jesus, father, I pray that we will only walk with true believers. Father, cut the umbilical cord. Cut the umbilical cord, cut the tie to people in our lives that are devil worshippers, our lives that are devil worshippers. Please, god, remove them out of our life because, lord, you're coming back and I want to know, lord, that my name is stamped in the Lamb's book of life. Bless us. We pray In Jesus name, amen.

Speaker 4:

We come to the end of today's message, let's close in prayer. Heavenly Father, today we choose to trust you with all our heart. Your words in Proverbs 3 Remind us not to lean in our own understanding, but to acknowledge you in our ways. You make our path strength. Lord, you are our shepherd. We have all we need Lead us still waters, resolve our soul and guide us through. Whatever today brings, even in a shadow, we will not fear because you are with us and, just like psalm 91 promise, we rest under your wings. You are safe. You're a safe place. Our protection and our guidance. No fear, no trouble. No storm is greater than you. No fear, no trouble. No storm is greater than you.

Speaker 2:

Cover us today, guide us and go before us in jesus name. Amen, amen, amen, amen, amen, father, we come to you tonight, lord, and in the close of this service, lord, in these seven minutes, father, I pray, lord, for every heart that is buckled with pain, anyone that is carrying guilt, anyone that feels ashamed, anyone that is buckled with pain, anyone that is carrying guilt, anyone that feels ashamed, anyone that is doubtful, anyone that is tired, anyone that is weary, anyone is exhausted, trying to fight for every day. Father, I pray that we ask you tonight to strip those people in our lives that are causing us drama, that are causing us trouble, that are leading us astray from Jesus Christ. Lord, I pray for people at work, people at home, people in church, people wherever they are. Lord, I know, jesus, that we've got to go into work. I know that we've got to go to the school run, lord, I know what we've got to do. But, lord, I pray that you will put a hedge around us, father, that nothing will penetrate that firewall.

Speaker 2:

God, lord, please, god, we're weary of people in our lives that are pulling us down. We're weary of people in our lives that are not edifying us. All they want to do, lord, is feed us of worldly stuff. Lord, I don't want worldly stuff, I just want Jesus. I just want to know, lord, my name is stamped in the Lamb's book of life. I just want to know, lord, my name is stamped in the Lamb's Book of Life. Lord, cut that cold. Cut, lord, those ties to the worldly people that are feeding us false hope, false truth, that are fake and have their only interest at heart. So, lord, help me to be wise in people that I walk with. Help me to be wise who the people I have in my life. Help me, lord, to be careful of the people that I socialize with, the places that I go with worldly people. Lord, help me not to be drawn in to the world's, the devil's playground of life. Lord, keep me at the cross. If I just stay on my own the rest of my life, I just want to stay at the cross. I just want to stay at the cross, lord. I just want to stay at the cross, lord, because it's the cross, lord, that can only do. Let me tell you this it's only Jesus. It's only Jesus that can heal you. It's only the Spirit of God that will lead you. It's the Spirit of God that's calling you tonight, whatever your name is.

Speaker 2:

However sad you are, focus on Jesus. He won't foul you. He will give you dreams that are possible to do. He will fulfill your life. He will strengthen you. He will take your places and not foul you.

Speaker 2:

Do you need Jesus tonight? Call on the name of Jesus. We've got four minutes. Call on the name of Jesus. We've got four minutes. Call on the name of Jesus. It's got to be Jesus. Keep me at the cross, lord. Keep me at the cross, father. Keep us at the cross, lord.

Speaker 2:

Put people around us that will carry us, that will pick that mat up and carry their friend and tore the roof open in the New Testament and lowered their friend to Jesus. Who is lowering you to Jesus tonight? Who is lowering you? Who is taking you on the mat of despair and putting you in the presence of the King? Who is doing that? Who is doing that? Who is doing that in the name of Jesus? You know who is doing that. Is there anyone in your life that is taking you and keeping you at the cross? If you've got someone in your life that is praying for you. If you've got someone in your life that is praying for you. If you've got someone in your life that is keeping you in Christ. That's amazing. You need to hold on to that person. If you've got anyone in your life that is keeping you in the word.

Speaker 2:

I'm being brutal tonight because I can't get to heaven. I might not live another week, I might not make another year, and I need to tell you, I need to tell you now. You've got to follow Jesus. We don't know how much time we've got left on the earth. We don't know where we're going to end up. But let me tell you tonight, before this camera clicks out, you've got to find Jesus like you've never found him before, because he will heal you, he will guide you, he will lead you.

Speaker 2:

We thank you to everybody tonight that's on radio. Wherever you are and we know there's so many people scattered across the globe wherever you are tonight, god is wiping your tears on radio. If you're on camera, god is wiping your tears. Maybe you can't show your emotions because you are in an environment that doesn't allow it. I pray for you tonight that you will have the strength to leave certain situations in your life and go and live the dream for Jesus. Go and live the dream for Jesus. Don't give up. God is with you. We thank you to everybody tonight for your prayers, your support over the years, and may the fire of God strengthen you for the rest of your days on this earth. And I want you to remember me for this thing and this thing only.

Speaker 2:
