Finding Rest in God Alone (#1074 - Elim)
Rest for the Restless Soul – Finding Peace in God Alone
Have you ever felt that gnawing restlessness deep in your soul—the kind that no amount of scrolling, spending, or socializing seems to satisfy? David understood this struggle, and in Psalm 62:1 declared, “My soul finds rest in God alone.”
In this powerful episode, we dive into the revolutionary truth that lasting peace cannot be found in social media feeds, financial gain, personal success, or even religious activity. Our soul’s deepest need is met only in the presence and person of God.
This message uncovers the emptiness of external validation and leads us back to the one source that truly satisfies: a living, growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Through Scripture and practical insight, you'll be encouraged to realign your focus from the temporary to the eternal.
Even more striking is the perspective shared on obstacles and opposition. Instead of seeing trials and enemies as setbacks, this episode teaches that they are stepping stones to your God-given purpose. Just as Jesus used the cross—an instrument of torment—to secure eternal victory, God is using the pressure in your life to elevate you, not crush you.
You'll be reminded that the enemy is not above you—he is under your feet. And no matter what you're walking through, you’re not sinking—you’re standing on solid, divine ground.
Whether you're battling depression, anxiety, illness, fear, or relational brokenness, this message offers a holy perspective shift. God’s Word becomes your anchor, your footing, and your forward motion.
We invite you to connect with us at pastorbencooper.co.uk to share your testimony, submit prayer requests, or dive deeper into spiritual resources that will help you find rest for your soul—in God alone.

You know, wherever you are at this this hour, whatever your time zone is, whatever your life looks like, we welcome each and every one of you. Let's get straight into the word. Word of God. We're going to go straight into the Old Testament. We're going to go into the Psalms. We're going to go into the Psalms of David. We're going to start in Psalm 62. So, wherever you are at this hour, we thank you for your prayer support. We thank you for your love. Thank you for those that are adding so much value to what we do. We are so blessed and wherever you are this evening right across the world, we welcome each and every one of you in in the most beautiful name of Jesus Christ. But let's gather around the word. Let's rest tonight. You know, however you're feeling, whatever your life looks like, you know there is power in the name of Jesus. There's nothing finer than following the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. There's nothing finer than just trusting in Jesus. But we are living in really interesting days. We're living in really interesting times and wherever you are scattered, tonight, we just want to remind you that God is with you. God is with you wherever you are at this moment in time the power of the Holy Spirit, whether you're listening in the hospital, we know people are in hospital listening to us. We know people in hospices. We know people at work, traveling, commuting across the world. Wherever you are at this moment in time, as we stream this across the world, may the hand and the presence and the love of Jesus Christ be over each and every one of you. If you've got trouble in your life, if things are happening and things are not looking too good, you know, buckle down in the word of God, get in the scripture. There's nothing finer than following the word of God. You might be having, you know, a moment in your life where Psalm 23 is very real and very prominent in your life. You know, even though I go through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil. You know fear. Fear is not part of your life. Doubt is not part of your life. You are free. Who the sun sets free is free indeed.
Speaker 2:And again, we welcome everyone across the other side of the world. Thank you for your prayer support. You know we've had lots of prayers coming through. We've had lots of requests coming through on rbchristianradionet. You know, wherever you are across the world, go onto the website, you know, log into that. You know, send us some prayer requests. Thank you for the testimonies that people are sharing on rbchristianradionet. Thank you so much.
Speaker 2:And for those that are supporting through, buy Us A Coffee. You just click on the right hand bottom corner of the screen. You know the little tiny coffee cup. You can click that with three pound, five pound, whatever it may be, you know, thank you. You know, it's just a simple little thing. Buy Us A Coffee, but it means so much. It means so much when there's vast numbers doing that and keeping the gospel of Jesus Christ moving.
Speaker 2:But wherever you are, let's get straight into the word. We're going to go to the Old Testament. We're in the book of Psalms. Let's turn to Psalms tonight.
Speaker 2:I always say this. Well, don't always, because that will be a complete lie, but the majority of the time I say if you have a Bible, you know, grab the Bible. You know, if you need a Bible, you know, get a Bible right now in your life. The greatest investment that you'll ever have in your life is the scripture. It's not the bricks, it's not the mortar, it's not the Bitcoin, it's not the house, it's not the investment in stocks and shares, it's not investment in what the commodity of the world is offering. The greatest investment that you will ever do is invest your heart, invest your body, invest yourself in the Word of God. This book, this book, is dynamite. This book is powerful. It's not about bricks and mortar. It's not about the cars we drive. It's not about the clothing and the labels that we have on our back. It's about following Jesus.
Speaker 2:The greatest, the greatest investment any human being will ever do is to invest and to get yourself into the scriptures. Get yourself into the Word of God, get into the holy rhythm of God. You know, wherever you are across the world, we welcome every one of you. It is the Word of God. Greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world. Without further ado, let's get into the book of Psalm 62, verses 1 through to 2, and then we'll drop back into Psalm 40.
Speaker 2:If you are struggling in life. Tonight we pray for you If you are weary, we pray for you If you are tired, if you are weary of school, business and life and work. We pray for you tonight that the Holy Ghost that we serve, the King of Kings that we walk with that, our God, the God of Israel, the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit, will lead you in paths of righteousness. But never give up. Never allow the world to control you, never allow society to control you, never allow education to. Education will stumble you at certain areas of your life. The greatest investment, from a young child to an adult, it doesn't matter color of skin, it doesn't matter where we are birthed, it doesn't matter what tribe we come from, it doesn't matter where we are. The greatest investment that we will ever have is this holy word of God. This book is the greatest book the world has ever seen. It's so powerful, it's beyond human understanding.
Speaker 2:And the psalmist David. If you want to study a man that really had some trouble, you've only got to look at David. You know where did the trouble come from in his life, the majority of David's trouble? It came from within himself. He was good at getting himself in trouble. He was good at causing a commotion. He was good at ruffling up feathers. You, he was good at causing a commotion. He was good at ruffling up feathers. You know, the commotion and certain things in his life were started just from himself.
Speaker 2:So if you are looking for a character, the greatest king Now I'm not referring to Jesus here, I'm referring to David the greatest king outside of Christ is David. David was a great king, he was a great leader. He had his failings, he had his pluses, he had his negative area of life. But David, if you want to study a real character, you know, from shepherd boy to king, through all the ups and downs and the trials of life, david is the one to study. In the Old Testament, obviously, joshua and Caleb and Moses, they're all great characters. You know real life characters. So if you are looking for someone just to to get into and have a look, obviously other than christ and that was not that we're lifting up the old testament, uh, figures and forerunners, we're not doing that but we're just looking at certain characters but david, david, what an interesting man, what an interesting character, so p.
Speaker 2:So Psalm 62, verse 1, says my soul finds rest in God alone. My salvation comes from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation, he is my fortress. I will never be shaken. You know, when you look at these scriptures they're dynamite. When you look at this word, psalm 62, verse 1, my soul finds rest in God alone. What does that tell us? It tells us, sorry, that we are not just human beings, that there is more to this life than this physical realm in which we serve and which we walk and which we live in. There is more because the psalmist brings in the soul, the inner person, the spirit, you know that inner spirit of each and every one of us. There is more to this world than what we can perceive through our sensual perception, through smell, touch, see, sight, all those characteristics that go along with being a human being. Do you know what? You are blessed and highly favored. You are wonderfully and you are fearfully made.
Speaker 2:And as you study the psalmist, as you studied King David, the shepherd boy, you know, coming from his family line, coming out of his brothers and everything that went on in his life, you know, david was a man that wrestled with life. He was a man that tripped over in life. He was a man that stumbled in life. He was a man that see great victories in his life. He was a man that see great downfalls in his life. He was a human being and he had errors in his life, but also he found the path. You know, god never rejected him. God chastised him, god worked with him and through him. But you know, wherever you are in your life at this moment in time, never give up. There is always a way forward. There is always a way. Never give up. Never allow circumstances, never allow situations to control, never allow the pressure of life to turn you inside out and upside down. So the psalmist writes my soul finds rest in God alone, my soul. You know rights. My soul finds rest in God alone, my soul.
Speaker 2:You know there are many of us, many of us in church, many of us outside of church. Humanity is looking for this common denominator and I believe the word, the key word, is peace. I believe the key word to what we're looking for is peace. We are trying to find peace in life, peace at work, peace at home, peace in education, just in our general life. We are looking for a place to rest and you know, the only place that we'll find rest, the only place that we'll find this area of this hope is in the Word of God. So, wherever you are, I want to encourage you to back out of church yes, he said it, to back out of ministry. Back out of church.
Speaker 2:If you haven't got peace, if you're feeling that there is unrest in your spirit, if you are feeling down and weary and tired, I want to encourage you to get a Bible tonight. I want to encourage you to pray for yourself tonight. I want to encourage you to get the Word of God and open up the Psalm and say Lord, I'm going to give church a swerve for a while and Lord, what I'm going to do is I'm going to get in the scripture. I'm going to read the psalm, I'm going to read Matthew, mark, luke and John. I'm going to get into the book of Ephesians. I'm going to look at what Joshua says.
Speaker 2:Joshua is a practical, powerful, you know, a physicality book. It is a book of power and authority. And then you look at Ephesians. It runs parallel, joshua and Ephesians. You know Ephesians is a spiritual book, very powerful. You know, in the spirit realm and all that, joshua. You bring Joshua with the book of Ephesians and read them in a parallel line. You've got dynamite. You've got dynamite, you know.
Speaker 2:Do you want to stand out from the crowd? Do you want to be different from this robotic way of life? Do you want to stand out at school? Do you want to stand out at education? Do you want to stand out in church, in ministry, in life? Not in the area of bragging, bragging as the world brags, but I'm referring to standing out and standing up for Jesus Christ. We are preparing for the second coming of Jesus. We are being prepared. The world is groaning. The world is at birth pains. Things are happening across the world through governments, through finance departments, through one world order, through the World Health Authority. Things are happening. We are ramping up.
Speaker 2:Look at Jerusalem, look at Israel. You know they are the signs of the times. Are you at peace in your life? Do you feel restless tonight? Do you feel weary? Do you feel agitated? Do you feel like you're a cat on hot bricks, that you can't seem to find a place to get your heart to rest? The only place that we will find rest, the only place that we will find rest, the only place that we will find this place, this ability to be able to cope and to move forward, is through the word of God.
Speaker 2:God is your rock, he is your refuge. He is your savior. He is your redeemer. He is the God of Israel. He is the father of Isaac, jacob and Abraham. He is the God of all gods. He is the father of Isaac, jacob and Abraham. He is the God of all gods. He is the king above all kings. You know he is the great I am. He is the first, he is the last. He is El Shaddai, jehovah Jireh, jehovah Nissi, jehovah Shalom. He is the great God he is. There is no one higher than the God that you serve. There is no other God higher than the God of Israel. There is no one higher than the great I am. He is your rock, he is your redeemer, he is your salvation.
Speaker 2:Now let's get straight back into the scriptures. And you know what. You will never be shaken. You know we go through valleys, we go through trials, we go through tests. We go through times in our lives of loneliness, of fear. You know, of uncertainty, uncharted territory that we've never sailed this way before. But with Jesus, with the power of the living word, he will feed you, he will sustain you, he will lead you, he will guide you, he will give you rest. He will show you a way out of a prison and I'm not just referring at his majesty's pleasure, I'm referring to the prison that we might create in our lives. Because we do that, we capture ourselves behind bars without being at his majesty's pleasure. We put situations around us and we get ourselves entrenched and in certain things happen around our lives that we just seem to get get under lock and key.
Speaker 2:You are not a slave to the world. You are free. God loves you. Whatever your name is, whatever your age is, whatever your culture is, whatever tribe, whatever tongue you come from, wherever you are across this world, jesus Christ is your Savior and he loves you. Doesn't matter your age, doesn't matter your color of your skin. You know it doesn't matter where you are birth. God loves you and he is with you and God is leading you in paths of righteousness. When we look at David, david is a very interesting character when you read Psalm 62 and you go through and you gently take your place and you read that through. He's giving praise, he is giving thanks, he is lifting up this God of Israel.
Speaker 2:My soul finds rest in God alone. You won't find rest in social media. You won't find rest in money. You won't find rest in materialism. You won't find rest in ministry. You won't find rest in church. You won't find rest in religion, in school, in education. You won't find rest in humanity. You will only find rest and complete rest in the Word of God, because the Word of God is Jesus.
Speaker 2:If you have a look at John, chapter 1, verse 1, in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God. He was with God in the beginning. You know, the Word is the place that you will find rest. The Word is the place that you will find healing. The Word is the place that you will find this holy God. It is the scripture that will give you the great outcome in your life. It is the word of God that will lead you in paths of righteousness. It is the word of God that will bring healing to your heart. It is the word of God that will bring prosperity to your life. Now we've got to be careful of the word prosperity, because certain areas and cultures of the world will use the word prosperity and straight away align that with funds, with money, with cash and commodity. You know God doesn't do that. God works through wisdom and power and his word of God. God gives you wisdom, god gives you strength, god enables you, god leads you, god guides you.
Speaker 2:Do you need healing tonight? Do you need a miracle in the area of finances? Do you need a miracle in your family? Do you need a miracle in your children? Do you need a miracle in your ministry, your life, your church life? Do you need a miracle at school?
Speaker 2:You won't find peace on social media. We spend aimlessly hours of scrolling. Why do we scroll? We scroll because we are not at rest in our spirit. Social media will not give you rest for your spirit, you know. Work will not give you rest for your spirit. Family will not give you rest for your spirit. Church religion will not give you rest for your spirit. Money will not give you rest for your spirit. Money will not give you rest for your spirit, and so forth and so on. The only place that you will find rest for your soul and your spirit is in the God, the eternal God, the God of all gods. Sorry, the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, the great I am. The only place that your soul and your spirit, and then your mind, you know, is your mind racing.
Speaker 2:How many hours, how many minutes, how many seconds do I spend reading the word of God? How long do I spend in scripture a day? How long do I spend reading the word? Do I spend more time on TV, on radio? Do I spend more time on social media? How much time do I spend literally reading the word of God?
Speaker 2:The way faith grows and the way faith increases. Faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of God. Faith is increasing when I'm in scripture. Faith does not increase when I'm online. Faith does not increase when I'm in online, when I'm on social media. Faith does not increase. When I'm watching the TV, faith does not increase when I've got money in my pocket. Faith does not increase when I'm driving a car. Faith does not increase when I'm in church. At some times, my faith will only increase when I'm in the Word of God, when I'm in the written Word of God, hebrews 11, verse 1,. Now, faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Speaker 2:You know you don't need money to get to your destination. You don't need fame to get to your destination. You don't need another human being in your life to get to your destination. You don't need to be educated. You don't have to be an academic to get to your destination. You don't need a pound in your pocket, you don't need to be a millionaire to get to your destination. What I need to get to my destination is I need Jesus. Jesus says I am the way, the truth and the life. He is the way, he is, the great I am. He is the King of Kings and he is the Lord of Lords.
Speaker 2:Is your flesh agitated? Do you feel agitated in life? Do you feel like that? You get gritty, you get a bit grumpy. Do you feel that you're just aggravated? If I feel like this, my body is telling me that I'm living more by the world than I'm living by the word. When I live by the word, I start to get more word. When I live by the word, I start to get more peace. When I live in the word, when I live by the way of Jesus, when I live in scripture, I start to find my life starts to turn around. How am I living my life?
Speaker 2:The Bible says do not conform to the pattern of this world. Am I conforming to education? Am I conforming to business? Am I conforming to the way of the world? Am I conforming to religion? Am I conforming to my culture? Am I conforming to what pastor says? Am I conforming to materialism? Am I conforming to the social media avenue? Am I conforming to the wants of the world? Or am I leaving it? Am I coming to the cross?
Speaker 2:The hardest thing that any one of us will ever do, we will ever do, is to follow Jesus, because when you follow Christ, surrender comes in the arena. When surrender comes in the arena, there is such a strip back of the human being, the strip back. The garden of Gethsemane experience can be the most powerfulest, the most loneliest, the most unusual, turbulent time of your life, but it will be a starting point that you will see that when I went into the garden and I said, father, father, I come before you tonight, I come before you, god, right now, and, lord, I want to see your glory, I want to see your power, you know what's really, really interesting. It isn't your social media friends, it isn't your work colleagues, it isn't your family, it isn't your church buddies, it isn't the culture around you, it isn't the situation, it isn't the friends of life that will get you to your destiny. Do you know?
Speaker 2:God uses the enemy to get us victory. You know, don't rely on your friends to get you the blessing. Don't rely on work colleagues to get you to where God wants you to be. When you study Jesus's journey to the cross of Calvary, who was it that took him to that great place of victory? It was the enemy. See, god uses the enemy to get his glory.
Speaker 2:God uses the enemy. Don't look at your friends to see the blessing of God come upon you when you look at the culture in your life. Don't put all that weight on society and around you to get you to where God wants you to be. God will use the vehicle of the enemy and the dark side of life to carry you through. What the enemy meant for harm, god will turn for good.
Speaker 2:See, there might be enemies in your life. There might be ferocious wolves in your life. There might be people around you that are trying to pull you down, get you to stumble, trying to get you to cave in. There might be people in your life that are trying to get you to break down and to give up and to be pushed over and to be rolled over. Do not allow that to happen.
Speaker 2:Stand on the word of God, because God uses the enemy as stepping stones. God uses the enemy as a point of contact. Remember what the Bible says the devil is under my feet. He's given you power and authority to trample on the lion, the great cobra. God uses the head of your enemies to be a stepping stone in the quicksand of life. The enemy is not above you, the enemy is not over you. The enemy is under your feet. The enemy's head is used for your blessing. The enemy's head, the enemy's top part of them, is your stepping stone to victory. Do not allow the size of Goliath to intimidate you. Do not allow that great wall of Jericho to intimidate you. Do not allow the size of the Red Sea to intimidate. You. Do not allow the enemy to intimidate you, because the not allow the enemy to intimidate you, because the enemy is your stepping stone to victory.
Speaker 2:When you look at these scriptures that we are in at this moment, at time, you know I pray that as you look around culture, life, as you look around, you will see the enemy roaring around looking for someone to devour. But let me tell you this God uses the enemy in your life as a stepping stone to victory. God uses the enemy in your life to get his glory. God uses the enemy in your life to see victory come to your feet, because the enemy is not above you. The enemy is not superior over you. Satan has no power over you. The dark forces of this world have no power over you. The Bible says that the devil is under your feet. You shall soar on wings as of eagles. The Bible says I am the head and not the towel. We are above and not beneath the King of kings and the Lord of Lords is with you Wherever you are, across this world, on RB Christian Radio, on podcasts at this hour, on live stream, as we broadcast around the world, let me tell you again the devil is a liar. The devil is under your feet. You are rich in Christ Jesus. You are rich in the Word. There is salvation sitting over your spirit. Tonight. There is power in your life. Tonight, glory is over you. Remind yourself that God uses the devil as your stepping stone. God uses the devil as a springboard to get his glory. The devil is around us for one reason and one reason only to be under our feet. The devil, lucifer, satan, has no authority over your life. You have the power of the Holy Spirit. You have the Father, the Son, the Holy Ghost. You might feel like David at this hour. My soul finds rest in God alone. My salvation comes from him.
Speaker 2:Verse 1 of Psalm 62 is a battle cry Is a battle cry. Don't allow the depression to break you. God will use the depression to elevate you and to spring you to his destination. You know the enemy cannot stop you progressing in the word of God, to elevate you and to spring you to his destination. You know the enemy cannot stop you progressing in the word of God. It's all smoke and mirrors. It's all lipstick and makeup. It is all foundation and fake. Name it and claim it. Do not allow the makeup of life to tear you down. The enemy is just nothing. The enemy is nothing. The enemy has no value over your life.
Speaker 2:The Lucifer, satan, the dark forces have no power over you because you are blood washed, you are sanctified, you are a child of the living God. Yes, our mind can play tricks on us. Our mind can take us to the valley. Our mind can leave us in the shadow of death. The mind can take you to a place, but no one can separate you from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus. You are above and not beneath. You are blessed and highly favored.
Speaker 2:The Psalmist writes. David writes my soul finds rest in God alone. God is with you in your kitchen tonight. God is with you in your vehicle tonight. God is with you on the train tonight. God is with you across the world tonight. God is with you in all things. God is with you wherever you are. The power of God is with you.
Speaker 2:The devil is not crushing you. You have crushed the devil by the power of the blood of Jesus. What do you mean? You have? We have authority in Christ Jesus says. I give you authority. You carry a name that is so powerful. The devil is crushed at the name of Jesus.
Speaker 2:Do not allow Lucifer, do not allow the satanic agents, do not allow the darkness to hold you down. Name and claim your victory in the name of Jesus. Father, I'm out the pit. I'm out the mud and the mire. Lord, you've given me a firm place to stand. You are my rock. You are my salvation. I will never be shaken.
Speaker 2:Do not allow the people in your history to control your destiny. Do not allow your culture and your history in your culture to control your destiny. Do not allow your culture and your history, in your culture to control your destiny. Do not allow those controllers, those manipulators, controlling you and telling you you're not ever going to see the victory. Tell your history, tell the devils around you. I am blessed and highly favoured. I'm waiting patiently for the Lord.
Speaker 2:The Psalmist the same Psalmist in Psalm 40, he says I waited patiently for the Lord and he turned to me and he heard my cry. There's a battle cry sitting in you. There's a battle cry sitting within your spirit. There's a battle cry sitting in your life and that cry is a cry to victory. That cry, those tears, are not taking us low. Those tears are raising us up. Those doubts are not taking us down. They're rising us up. The fear is not taking us down. The fear is taking us to Jesus. It wasn't the disciples that took him to the cross. It wasn't his friends that took him to the cross. The friends and the disciples did not know what was going on.
Speaker 2:Christ used the devil's territory as a stepping stone to get you saved. Christ used the devil's territory to get salvation to you. Christ stood on the authoritarians. Christ stood on the darkness of life. Christ stood on the satanic realm and he got to victory. It was the darkness that brought victory. We've got to understand that God turns all things for good, wherever you are right now, in the name of Jesus Christ. Tell the devil it is under your feet. Tell cancer it's under your feet. Tell mental health it's under your feet. Tell ADHD in your life it's under your feet. Tell the world that the enemy is under my feet. Tell every dark satanic agent that is around I'm using your head as a stepping stone to keep me out of the quicksand of life. The devil is in the quicksand and you are walking to victory. You are not below, you are above and not beneath. God has given you victory through the blood of Jesus.
Speaker 2:However you feel tonight, do not live your life by emotions. Live your life by the power of the word of God. Do not live our lives by what we feel. Live our lives by what we see. If I live my life by what I feel, I will hold myself in this area, this holding area. I will not progress to the place that Christ has for you and Christ has for me.
Speaker 2:Faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of God. Get your faith on tonight. Get the spirit of God in your life. Tonight Look at what the scripture says. My soul finds rest in God alone. My salvation comes from him. The devil can't touch your salvation. The devil can't touch your salvation. The devil can't touch your destiny, because the devil doesn't know your destination. It is only God, it is only the word of God. The devil doesn't know where you're going. He knows where you've been because he reads the history. He reads the history. He can't tell where you are going because he has no faith. He has no insight to that area of life. The devil is under your feet. Sickness bow to the name of Jesus. Fear bow to the name of Jesus. Darkness bow to the name of Jesus. Witches bow to the name of Jesus. Every other religion under the sun bow to the name of Jesus. Cancer bow. Governments bow. You know humanity bows. The Bible says that there is coming a point. Every eye will see, every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. Every knee shall bow to the name of Jesus Christ.
Speaker 2:Remind yourself that you are a name carrier. You carry a name and it isn't satan, it isn't lucifer, it isn't fear, it isn't doubt. You carry a name and the name is Jesus. You carry a name and that name is Emmanuel. You carry a name and his name is the king of kings and the lord of lords. You have been given authority through the word of god to crush the enemy.
Speaker 2:You do not need to jump in the arena, you just need to stand strong in the name of jesus, because the devil is already under your feet. You don't need to punch him, you don't need to kick him. You don't even send send him an email. You don't need to reply on social media. You don't need to send him a text. You don't need to reply on social media. You don't need to send them a text. You don't need to reply to anyone, because your enemy is your stepping stone to victory.
Speaker 2:Don't engage in the enemy's territory. The enemy wants you to drown. The enemy wants you to foul. The enemy wants you to fall in quicksand. But you know what the devil is in the quicksand of life and you will never hit the quicksand. Use the head of the enemy to get to your destiny. Remember what the Bible says greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world. And the Bible says that the devil is under your feet. So the devil is always your stepping stone to victory. You know the devil is the stepping stone to your victory. The devil's head is the place. Push the devil down back to hell. Push satanic presences back down to hell.
Speaker 2:Tell the devil I'm not going to live anymore in doubt. I'm not going to live anymore in fear. I'm not going to live anymore in history. I'm going out for my destiny and I'm using the head of every enemy in the name of Jesus to use as a stepping stone. I am going to walk on water and the reason I can walk on water is because I'm treading on satanic activity and the satanic activity is my foundation, that I'm walking on the rock of all ages. The Bible says that God has placed your feet upon a rock. He has placed your feet upon the rock. But also the Bible says in the book of Psalms the devil is under your feet. Use the devil as that place to walk upon. You know the devil is crushed by the blood of Jesus. Sickness is crushed by the blood of Jesus. Sickness is crushed by the blood of Jesus. Fear is crushed by the blood of Jesus. The cross was the crushing place. The cross was the place. Just like when you go and you see scrap metal being crushed and pushed to a pulp. The cross was just like that. It got hold of the devil's work and it crushed it and it pushed it and it destroyed it and it wrapped it up and it spat it out.
Speaker 2:In the name of Jesus, do not conform to the devil's drumbeat, do not conform to the satanic activity. Do not conform to what the world is telling you. Who you are, rem telling you who you are. Remind yourself who you are. Who are you tonight? I'm a child of the living God. Who are you tonight?
Speaker 2:I'm blessed and highly favored. I don't belong to church. I don't belong to Elim. I am not a dog on a lead. I am a slave to righteousness. No one owns me. No human being has no right over me. The God that I serve is my God, the God that I serve. He leads me. The God that I serve feeds me. No one else feeds me. No one else controls me. No one else has any power over me. It is my God, it is my King, it is my Savior. It is my Jesus. It is my rock, it is my Redeemer. He is the King above all kings, and God has made every devil in my life a stepping stone to victory and I'm walking strong in Jesus.
Speaker 2:I'm walking strong in Jesus. I'm not allowing the devil to hold me down. I'm not allowing the enemy, I'm not allowing sickness to hold me down and to paralyze me. I'm not allowing sickness and fear to paralyze me. I'm going to get up in the name of Jesus. I'm going to see myself walking. I'm going to see myself standing. I'm going to see myself walking to victory and as I walk, I see my enemy under my feet. In the name of Jesus, the battle belongs to the Lord. All I've got to do is walk. I haven't got to get in the arena. I haven't got to jump on social media and tell the world what I think about them. I haven't got to do anything else. I've just got to stand strong. Stand on the word.
Speaker 2:Sisters and brothers, time is a raising rapidly. Right now, we have seven minutes before we cross over to music on RB Christian Radio. Let's break bread together right now, in the name of Jesus Christ. You stand amazed. You stand on the rock. Let's break bread For those that are in the house with me tonight, for those that are online. We want to encourage you tonight on radio. We want to encourage you on podcast. We want to tell you on live stream camera tonight get some bread, grab yourself a pit of bread from your old kebab.
Speaker 2:Get yourself a bit of grape juice, wine juice, whatever you've got. Get whatever you've got around you because it is symbolic. It is symbolic to the body of Christ. Sister and brother, you are blessed and highly favoured, even if you've got a McDonald's burger bun. Break a bit off of that tonight.
Speaker 2:Right now, let's come to the table. Father, in the name of Jesus, we come to the table, the greatest table in the world, the Passover table, not the table of Catholicism, not the table of the Church of England, not the table of the Evangelical Alliance, not the table of the Pentecostal movement, but we come to the Passover table and we break bread. So, lord, as we break this bread together now, Father, we believe that this bread is symbolic to the body of Christ and, father, I thank you for this bread. And as I break this bread now, in the stillness of the house, lord, I thank you that there are uncountable human beings across the world breaking bread with us tonight.
Speaker 2:You don't need to be in church. You can sit on your bed, you can sit in your van, you can walk down the street, you can sit on your push bike, you can lay in the bath, but the bread might get a bit soggy. In the name of Jesus, you can break bread wherever you are. In the name of Jesus Christ, because Jesus says name of Jesus Christ, because Jesus says do it as often as you gather together in my name, spirit of the living God. As I break bread right now, I stand in awe of your presence of a holy God, the holy God of Israel, the redeemer of all humanity, the glorious God, the great I am. Be bold, be tenacious, be radical, be braggadocious for your God and your King.
Speaker 2:God has given you stepping stones in your life. It's not your friends. Your friends won't get you to your destiny. It's not your family they won't get you to your destiny. It's not your business. It's not your friends your friends won't get you to your destiny. It's not your family they won't get you to your destiny. It's not your business. It's not your culture. It is your enemy that is your stepping stone to victory. It is your enemy that is your stepping stone to victory. The enemy is under your feet. Bless this bread in Jesus' name.
Speaker 2:Amen, dear God and Heavenly Father, as we break bread, as we take of this cup, we believe in the Word of God. We believe from Genesis to Revelation. We believe in what the psalmist is saying my soul finds rest in God alone. My salvation comes from him. He alone. He alone. No family member, no human being, nothing in your life. He alone, no social media friends. He alone is my rock and my salvation. He is my fortress. I will never be shaken. Lord, cover me in the blood tonight from the crown of my head to the sole of my feet. Wash me in the crimson tide of Calvary In Jesus' name. Amen, you are free. You are free tonight. You are free and you have always been free. The devil has no power over you. In the house, online, on radio, social media, as you watch these streams, you are free. Jesus has set you free.
Speaker 2:The Bible says in Psalm 40, 40 I waited patiently for the Lord. I waited patiently and God is using your enemy as a stepping stone to victory. The enemy is a stepping stone To seeing God's glory. Father, we thank you for time in the house and, father, we thank you for all those that support us on social media, on radio. Thank you for all the emails that come through, lord. Thank you, father, for the prayer requests that come through. Thank you for everyone that's listening now on the other side of the world.
Speaker 2:Father, we pray for all of us tonight that you will strengthen all of us, lord, that we will stand up and we will get off the mat of despair and we will realize that the devil is a stepping stone to victory. The devil is a stepping stone for the glory and the power. Thank you, lord, that we're healed. Thank you, lord, that we're healed. Thank you, lord, that we're saved. Thank you, lord, the bills are paid. Thank you, lord, we're moving forward. We are not going backwards. We are not failing. We are not falling. Lord, we thank you that we are rising on wings as of eagles. We are bold as lions. We are bold tonight, lord. Let us be bold like lions tonight. Let us be bold tonight in the word. Let us stand on the rock of all ages.
